My wife and I went to the Hickory Furniture Mart to find some living room / great room furniture. We found Hickory Park Furniture and Jeannie Hawkins who did a wonderful job of helping us find the right Palliser leather sofa and ottoman for our new house. It will be a few months before they deliver (sooner than most other manufacturers) but it will be a few months before our house is ready. Jeannie sent us a really nice thank you note and gave us her phone number for questions (we have already called her once!). Great experience at HPF.

I had a wonderful experience ordering from Hickory Park Furniture. I admit, I was a little leary at first but I had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I worked with Anne and Leslie in the Kincaid Gallery. I saved a considerable amount of money ordering direct instead of buying at local furniture store. The process was flawless from start to finish. Great prices, but impossible to get a delivery scheduled. My furniture was delivered to Hickory Park a month ago. I have been trying for a month to get an idea of when it will be delivered as I am across the country and need to plan to be at the location for delivery. When I called Hickory Park, they told me to call the shipper. I contacted the shipper and could not receive an answer. I let HIckory Park know and I have not recieved ANY assistance from them. I called the shipper again today, which is a week and half after they picked up the items from Hickory, and they still cannot give me a date. I have explained to both Hickory and their shipper that I have to travel across the country and need to plan, but no help here. Had I known when I placed the furniture order that there was zero flexibility in scheduling a delivery date (which I have been told by the shipper is we pick the date when we are in that area), I never would have ordered from here. Its now a month after it was delivered to Hickory and I still have no clue as to when I may take delivery.
So far we have been very pleased dealing with Hickory Park Furniture and Paul Wellman was most helpful. As long as we get our furniture delivered without a problem, we will be 100% happy.
After spending an entire day at High Point, we decided to go to Hickory Park and found the same dining set we fell in love with for less money. BJ at Canadel was super knowledgeable and professional. She answered all our questions so we would know what to expect and even helped us to get our dining set faster than first anticipated.We would shop here again. We received excellent service from Sales Consultant, Diane Christensen at Hickory Park Furniture Gallery. However, having to do everything over the phone because we live in Silver Spring, Maryland, we were not sure of how things would work out with not being able to see what we were ordering. We were also able to save a little money. I would like to see some improvement in time Hickory Park Furniture Gallery receives the furniture from the manufacture and the time it is delivered to the customer.
So much furniture! We spent a day and a half here! After about half a day we started seeing what we liked for oir new house and made some orders and bought a LR set the next day to bring home. Anticipate long delays in ordering most items...weeks and months...but that is industry wide right now. HPF is a great place, but wear your walking shoes!!

We had exceptional service from Leslie and Anne when we purchased our pine table. As this table was being delivered to our vacation home in upper Wisconsin, we had a very specific delivery window, which they went out of their way to accommodate. The table arrived on time, delivered by two men, one of whom expertly backed his huge van down our narrow drive, and then the other set up the table in our dining area. I do not want to talk I highly recommend if anybody within a 50 mi radius or even more can go to this place to look for furniture now its going to take time to get it back it was awesome it was absolutely one of the best places Ive ever been to look for furniture a little high yes but the quality and quantity is just remarkable
I was a little hesitant at first purchasing from this place as I was not familiar with them. However, after doing a ton of research at Basset (Brand I had chosen for furniture) I determined I would try Hickory Park Furniture. I worked with Gena Powell and have ordered over $12,000 in custom furniture from her. I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE OR WORK WITH ANYONE BUT GENA. She’s absolutely the BEST! When my sectional came in, it had a slight sewing misalignment on a cushion. I told Gena, sent her a picture and a few weeks later in the mail a new Cushion cover. ABSOLUTELY the BEST!

I had actively been researching an upstanding furniture outlet to purchase a bed for my son. After many weeks, I came across Hickory Park Furniture. We got an incredible deal on a leather La-Z-Boy recliner sofa at Hickory Park and I do mean incredible. The deal blew us away, but more amazing was the knowledge, efficiency and professionalism of our sales consultant, Kirstie Waters! We purchased insurance coverage fortunately as we had an issue with one of the recliner motors so we filed a claim with the insurance carrier. The insurance carrier is hard to reach and slower to respond, however, Kirstie has been by our side and relentless in getting our issue resolved. Im telling you folks, you dont see this kind of service after the sale these days. We are Hickory Park customers for life!
Sherrie just helped me pick out a sofa on the phone. I have immunity issues so I cant go in person. She was wonderful and answered all my questions. She didnt rush me or make me feel like she didnt have time. If I ever do go in person to shop, I will make sure she is the person I shop with. Paul Wellman helped us out at Hickory Furniture - Vaughn Bassett Store. We knew what we wanted for our bedroom furniture and Paul helped us out in deciding the right size and also gave us some insights about interior designs. The best thing: Initially, in September we spent two-three hours with him without making a purchase. He never frowned and happily bid us good bye. There was no buying pressure, even though he was the only one, on a Labor Day, managing the entire showroom floor! We called him again in November finally to make a purchase, he gave us the best deal without imposing any pressure to make a decision right away. Thanks to Covid 19, we spent enough time in the house to decide it was time for new furniture. I had my heart set on a sofa that I saw on the floor of another retailer. He gave me the time I needed and helped me select the furniture; moreover, he sent pictures of the leather samples right away via email; then, sent them via mail to my home. I purchased a Classic Leather sofa, chair, and powered recliner. Everything was made and delivered in room as promised, and the furniture is beautiful. Now that I know this furniture company exists, I can never go back to buying online, having it made cheaply overseas no matter the brand, and have it fall apart in a few years. This furniture is solid, impeccable, and built to last. Do yourself and favor and call them up. This company is a top notch operation, and they truly care about the furniture they make.

We bought an Ultra Comfort lift chair for my wife. We did the entire process on-line due to covid-19 concerns. Everything was handled flawlessly by our salesperson, Gena Powell. She sent photos of the choices of fabric color which we actually saw in person when the chair was delivered. It is exactly what we wanted.Also, the delivery process was excellent. I shop online for competitive prices, but Zach at Hickory Park Furniture (one of the stores in the Hickory Furniture Mart) gave me a better price on the furniture pieces I wanted than any online site. I did have to pay for shipping, but the total was still competitive and the shippers brought the pieces in, set them up completely, placed them where I wanted them, etc. I didnt have to worry about damage from shipping because the pieces were checked by Hickory Park Furniture and there would have been no problem getting help and excellent service if anything had been wrong, which it wasnt - every piece was in perfect condition. Overall, I have ordered from Hickory Park Furniture several times and I always get a great price and personal, truly personal service. I am going to remember to just go straight through them when I need furniture and not bother with online ordering.

Buying expensive furniture from a company thousands of miles away is not a gamble with Hickory Park Furniture when you work with Karen Dellinger. They stand by their word.I ordered some beautiful Caracole furniture to be delivered across the country. I was super nervous because I was not able to inspect or see the quality of the furniture before delivery and what type of recourse did I have if the furniture was shoddy?.Karen assured me that Hickory Park would make sure I was satisfied.Well, 6 weeks later the furniture that was delivered was absolutely GORGEOUS! I loved everything about this bedroom suite. The colors, the quality--super solid, masterly constructed, and heavy! But after looking closely, there was a teeny-tiny paint bubble from the manufacturer on the top of one of the nightstands. It is just big enough to be annoying! I called Karen and Hickory Park stood by their word. They are sending out a new nightstand and returning this one. THANK YOU, KAREN AND HICKORY PARK!I am super happy with my purchase and the service.

Susan LeFevers helped us order our new sofa over the phone and had it delivered to us 667 miles away. Amazing. We first saw this sofa some years ago and fell in love with it. When we were ready to buy we had moved away from where we saw it for sale and through the power of the internet came across Hickory Park Furniture and our sofa. Susan was provided stellar customer service and helped us wade through out upholstery choices with patience. She provided us detailed advice and support each step along the way through the order. Even more amazing is that they delivered our sofa from half way across the country (north/south), fee of charge and on sale! Who could ask for more. My husband and I traveled from Kansas City to purchase furniture for our new home that was about to begin construction.We received exceptional service at Hickory Park Furniture. We were able to work with Julie prior to our visit. She was extremely prepared when we arrived, super helpful and so patient with us. She made our visit fun too and has done a great job communicating with us after our visit.We also worked with Sherry at the Basset Furniture Gallery. She was so patient with us. I think we must have changed our mind 10 times and she never complained. She was great in offering suggestions as well. She even sent samples of the fabrics we purchased so we could continue to plan our decor to match.
We were very pleased with the service provided by Hickory Park Furniture. We were trying to get an extra piece of our bedroom furniture which we had had for almost twenty years. They were able to go to the company which produced the furniture and get us what we wanted. We needed an extra bedside table. They were able to get color and style perfect. I understand the time needed to produce this piece of furniture, but time lag between furniture arriving in warehouse and when it was delivered was a little extensive, I believe.

We recently purchased a beautiful round table with Charleston chairs. When it arrived, it took our breath away. No longer leaning forward to see everybody, all of us now feel like King Arthur. The brown and slightly cherry colored finish nicely complements all other furniture in the room. When we opened it out using the built in extenders, I was speechless. It is the finest piece of furniture we will ever have. For me, part of the experience is touch. The first time I ran my hand across the top, knowing it was real acacia wood (and not a veneer), I was in heaven. Jerre Rhoney did a superb job with the order and really came through for us. I have been looking for a good solid wood master bedroom set and decided to try Hickory Park Furniture. I saw them on the web as I was looking for furniture places.This is the best place! Working with Diane Christensen - she was GREAT! I couldn’t decide what to chose (worried about the colored stain for the wood). She made it so easy- ordering samples from manufacturers. (Even took a picture with her cell phone to help me see the colors when one of the manufacturers didn’t have samples.)I so can’t say enough about her! She has been helping me for over ONE YEAR! There are hundreds of designers that are eager to write up an order on furniture--Julie is a rare designer that is committed to doing the work to fully coordinate a stunningly beautiful room or group of rooms. She came up with original ideas in pillows, and accessories to coordinate the rooms that I was working with and had the time to view pictures of other rooms so that the look was cohesive. Julie was truly the most helpful of anyone that Ive worked for in 45 years of furniture shopping. The quality of the upholstery was high, comfort was exquisite and prices were reasonable for the quality. She was available for questions as they came up and helped me understand when sales were coming up to get the best prices. I cant thank her enough for her help.

I had a wonderful experience with Hickory Park, and specifically Diane Christensen. I emailed in my request for information and prices and Diane responded to me very quickly. She also helped to guide me when selecting the specific pieces for my beautiful bedroom set. Finally, one of the pieces was identified as slightly damaged before being shipped to me. However, I was given the piece to use until a replacement can be shipped to me. I would very highly recommend both Hickory Park and Diane Christensen.

Diane Christensen was a joy to work with and made the experience pleasurable and worry free without me ever having to set foot in the store. Working with Kay Mitchell at the Hickory Park Furniture Galleries was an absolute joy. I was faced with furnishing an entire home and went to Kay with only my vision and a couple of inspiration photos. In just one day, she was able to make my dreams come true. Even after discovering that a couple of my initial choices had been discontinued by the factory, she was quickly able to find a suitable substitute. After my initial visit to the market, I decided to purchase additional furnishings for an adjoining lanai. From 400 miles away, Kay provided the perfect complementary outdoor furnishings. Additionally, she magically coordinated the deliveries of all my furniture to a destination and time of my choice. Kay, You ARE the BEST!!!
If you are looking to purchase furniture, I would suggest that you look at or visit Hickory Park Furniture Gallery in Hickory North Carolina. 20 years ago, I purchased Lane Venture outdoor patio wicker furniture from them and recently wanted to replace all the cushions and webbing supporting the cushions. I contacted Diane Christensen, who I would highly recommend, and she advised that my furniture was still being made and that cushions are still available. She sent me swatches of the new materials and we placed the order for 9 new cushions and webbing for the chair frames. We received the new cushions in Arkansas about 6 week later and everything was perfect. I was very surprised that Lane Venture Furniture was still being made and the same models. Thanks again to Diane for the excellent help and knowledge to get our furniture looking new and usable again. Thanks again Diane.

My sales consultant, Julie Eckard was helpful and extremely responsive throughout the process, which was done 100% virtually given this was the start of COVID-restricted business activity (late March). We updated our home and needed new furniture. Anne and Leslie were fabulous in helping us finish our home. We custom-ordered tables and they turned out great!
