So I have physically never been to the store, but I was reading the reviews and saw that the store cash payroll checks. So I give the store a call, and of course the lady told me that I would just have to bring the check in so they can look at it which I understand that, but for you to be a employee at the store, if someone calls and ask a question then it would most likely be a good idea for you not to talk so rudely to the customer on the phone and when a customer says thank you the proper response would be youre welcome or saying something like No thank you, or I look forward to seeing you,..... NOT FOR THE EMPLOYEE TO SAY...... Ummmm-huh...... That is basically the employee saying yep, whatever or something rude like that to the customer... So with that being said, like I had stated at the beginning I have never physically went inside the store, and with the employee speaking to me rudely on a phone like that then I most likely will never physically step inside the store

Went to cash my check this morning and the rude lady who was working inside would not let me cash my stimulus check because i had already signed the back of it. Although my ID matched my signature.

Went in for an energy drink got offered meth by 2 separate people. So I guess thats something.

How big of a payroll check will they cash?

This store sales back in the old days products I love stopping by for foods drinks and candy name brands they have replaced since back in the 50s & 60s.

Ive never stopped because they are located in a crack, meth drug traffic area. Glad to hear all is alright but I think Id move away from any downtown area. Ive had people run up to my car so I ran red lights, different area but the drug dealers are out doing what they know best rob people

This is a spot everyone in Hickory knows at least all my Raza. La Tienda de Jose. I even worked in this place over 20 years ago. Been coming here at least once a week. The new owners are great people. Always cold beer as cold as your exs heart. Come check it out.

The gas is way to expensive an if u get gas vouchers from social services usually the regular pump never works so u have to use the most expensive gas which gives u less gas than the regular would an there always higher gas prices than everyone else I think they do that so they can make money off these gas vouchers no joke! Then they short me 1$ the other day!
