Steve delivered our bark first thing this morning. He arrived when we were facing challenges with a separate contractor. Steve went above and beyond to ask how he could help and worked with our family and contractors to deliver the bark in an area that didn’t prohibit contractor access. I can’t say enough nice things about Steve. He made a stressful situation less stressful and was the epitome of exceptional customer service. I ordered a unit of Medium Brown Hemlock to be delivered. The delivery was fine, the product was not. It is NOTHING like the front desk samples show. What arrived was dark, ultra fine dust - even looks like soil. They told me “that’s why we recommend you check out the big piles and feel them” - well due to it being an active loading zone with tractors and trucks, it isn’t realistic. Why have the front samples if they are wildly inaccurate? Very disappointed in this place and the product.

The staff is friendly, prompt to address any questions or concerns, and willing to work with you if something doesn’t meet expectations or requirements. They will price match if you can prove you’ve gotten a better deal.

Went to get some information on soil and rocks yesterday and the two guys in there were fantastic. Friendly, professional and very helpful. Forgot his name -Gavin or something like that, he was extremely knowledgeable and I didnt feel completely ignorant. He gave me great suggestions! I highly recommend this place!

We recently took delivery of 4 yds of Best Buys Super topsoil blend for some ammendments for our yard and replentishment of our raised beds. As we began to move the material around our yard, we noticed significant amounts of plastic bag pieces, plastic parts and other garbage in this material, such that decided that we didnt want this in our raised beds for our food crops. I sent a message to Best Buy asking why all the trash and never got a response. For anyone looking to add soil to your yard, know that you will be having to sort this material for garbage. Here is a photo or what came out of three wheelbarrow loads.

Took 1/2 yd.of concrete for recycle. $38. Needed 1/2 yr. Three Qt. Minus $35 called prior said theyd cut price most times with small loads. Didnt give me any cut he said price starts 1yd. Price. A ramble how they have to stick to rates. Screw people on pricing and untruthful on the phone. Try somewhere else if why recycle. Next time put it in yd. Bin. Seems every charge in. crush the concrete and sell it back as fill. They lost my business. BEST BUY or Best scam..

My 90 year old dad has been coming to Best Buy for the past 30+ years for bark dust. He went out the other day to place an order but couldnt get a deliver + install until mid June. Then Dad hired some guy who handed him a business card and said hed do it for 500 bucks. We didnt know him, couldnt find anything out about him on line (no footprint), so called him and found out he wasnt licensed and bonded. I called BB and got Justin. Oh, he was SO great! I told him about the issue and he put the delivery on hold until we could find someone. Then Justin went to his manager to see if there was anything more they could do to help us. Justin called me back and made an offer for a delivery and install because there had been a cancellation. Turns out, my parents couldnt take the offer but geez, how great was Justin to go to bat for us? All on his own! The delivery is now coming next week and we have folks to spread the dust. I am so impressed with BB and Justin. What a stellar guy - great way to do business. Thank you, Justin!!!

Great customer service! Very friendly and helpful staff. I was in a crunch to make it before closing on a Saturday and, after talking to Mark, they kindly stayed open a few minutes for me to pick up my last load of mulch. They made it very easy by taking a card payment over the phone and speedy by having a driver ready to load my truck.I was also very impressed by the organization and flow of their facilities. Most landscape supply places are a mess but Best Buy keeps their place neat and tidy. They also have a directional pattern to follow so traffic does pile up and follow COVID guidelines very well!You might pay a little bit more for supplies here but between the variety, customer service, and ease it’s worth it!

We tried to buy medium brown hemlock and essentially got dark brown soil. Their sample in the store front is nothing like the actual product and they know it. They said we should have looked at the actual pile and we did, but it was raining so we couldn’t tell the actual color/spread due to it being packed down and wet. Then they said they know it’s ground too fine and not what it should look like. Incredibly disappointed and no customer service. Spend your money elsewhere.When we brought in a scoop of what was delivered they even said it was soil just by looking at the product.

The school I teach at has recently built 3 garden beds to support student learning. We reached out to Best Buy In Town to see if they would work with us, and offer a discount on soil to a community member. They very quickly called us back with an offer, helped us figure out how much soil we would need, and were able to deliver soil to our school with 48 hours notice (Im sure they would have done it with less)! They also worked really hard to deliver the soil within an hour time window to work around our fairly inflexible schedule (500+ elementary schoolers and a huge pile of dirt isnt ideal). The customer service was awesome and the delivery went smoothly; everyone was very kind and helpful. We cant wait to get plants into our soil!

I bought some Flagstones to create a hearth pad and Zack was very helpful. Let my husband and I play jigsaw puzzle with the stones before buying them! We’re very happy with the result!

Extraordinary customer service! Friday late afternoon our car broke down in the middle of the rock pit. Jacob assisted us and when jumping our vehicle, he observed smoke emanating from the alternator. He immediately removed the cables and directed us to the auto repair service next door. Ultimately, we had to have our vehicle towed to a nearby repair shop. Not only did Jacob go above and beyond his duty but he also offered to give my husband and me a ride home. Jacob and another employee had to stay after closing while we waited for AAA to arrive. Saturday, we returned in a more reliable vehicle to purchase our rocks and received fabulous customer service from Jacob. Our office went to Best Buy in Town because we had a unique and urgent request that required filling and weighing a large, heavy object to exact specifications. Mark went above and beyond to help us complete this unusual task. He was extremely helpful and friendly - we could not have done it without his help. We would highly recommend them! I went to drop off a load of branches,the young man made a big show of measuring my trailer.He told me it was 5 yards and it would cost $90. I was planning on buying retaining wall blocks and dirt to level my front yard. I will not be returning.After reading Joels 4 paragraphs of nonsense I would like to change my review to 0 stars,but sadly that isnt an option! I took my load of branches to Recology in North Plains,where I was charged $10 ! I checked around and Best Buy is significantly more expensive than anywhere else.

Great place with tons of options. The people working here are friendly and very helpful. Theyve made recommendations for me quite a few times that have helped. So far Ive gotten gravel, fill dirt, top soil and some nice paver stones. Never had any problems. Will definitely be coming back for more.

I just had 2 units of fine, dark hemlock mulch delivered. The product is excellent! The office staff are very helpful and friendly. And, I want to especially acknowledge, Dave, the delivery driver; it is a difficult delivery--at the top of a long, steep, narrow driveway, under electrical wires. He did a masterful job maneuvering the big truck up to the top and dropping the mulch exactly where I wanted it, all with a smile. Will definitely order from them again.

I was good with that, but stated that I could take it earlier if possible. It was delivered by Brian the very next morning. He took time to find the perfect spot to dump the soil. The variety of products Best Buy has is awesome for a one stop shop. Highly recommend over looking at your local home improvement stores for anything landscaping related. The staff is very knowledge and fun to work with. They have great prices, they deliver products and make it quick and easy to get what you need. Weve purchased gravel, sand, pavers, rocks, stones, compost soil, and sealers from them. They literally have everything you need for your projects.

A hidden gem that will save you a ton of money! The guys are always very kind, helpful and laid back. As a woman, I come across a lot of sexist attitudes when doing home repair and maintenance work. We been a going to Best Buy in Town for all our landscape needs for about 12 years now and its because of people that work there like Curtis we keep coming back.

I am a dahlia grower and strongly aware of the dangers of getting weed killer residues in purchased soils. With the staffs co-operation I was able to get a baggy of soil to take home and test for these residues before purchasing soil. The pea seeds I germinated in that sample grew straight and healthy and I arranged to purchase a full truck load of soil for raised beds. IT was delivered promptly and is beautiful soil to work with. I am sure my dahlias will love it too this summer and I feel reassured that they will be healthy and happy in it. I couldnt ask for a better response from staff.

I had 7 cu yd of veggie soil blown in on March 30. The guys that delivered were nice and very professional. They went out of their way for their customer to make it a great experience. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and pleasant as well. You have a repeat customer!

Well let me start with I have owned the same trailer for over 30 years and have hauled hundreds of loads of yard debris. The trailer is 4x9 with 2 foot sides. The most I have every been charged to dump a load was $35.00 and that was a 4 foot high load strapped down. Since S&H is no longer is Hillsboro I decided to give Best Buy a try, and I liked the sound of the Super Soil mix as I needed a mix for a new garden area. The normal dump charge at S&H by the way has been $12 to $15 for the same load. So you can only imagine I was totally shocked that with a trailer two feet high I was charged $76.00 in dump fee. At that cost I could have a yard service come in and haul it away. I will say the soil mix looks good but it’s doubtful I’ll be using Best Buy again.

Ive been using best buy for several years ! By far the best selection of bark, soil. And rock around! Every one has always been great to deal with and my bark and rock deliveries were always done with perfection . I wouldnt look any where else, they have everything you need in one place.

ITs a very busy place, they have a great variety of landscape matierals. I have been there several times in the last three weeks, so about 90% of the time service has been fast. I had 12 yards of clean fill dirt loaded, 2 yards of plant soil, and 2 yards of cedar chips.

They help me load my truck and the price was very good

I have worked with Best Buy a lot over the past many years. This is the first time Ive schedule to use the truck with the blower for spreading Garden Compost in my yard.Requesting to be the first stop of the day because I wanted to be there when they came by, but I also needed to get to work that day. They came at 7:00 AM and were done in plenty of time for me to get to work.Justin & Paulo were both very kind and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them and this service. They saved me many hours and days of hauling a over a Unit 1 wheelbarrow at a time.

Zach helped me out today, and took the time to answer my questions and make some terrific suggestions. Theres a great range of products available, including organic options for the compost (maybe for soil, too, I didnt look - but their helpful website has all that info). I went in late today and Zach was able to set up delivery for my order tomorrow morning. Awesome.

I had work with the company before, and had a good experience, I called last Friday to get some bark dust delivered for Saturday and they were great on providing next day deliver, even though my delivers were far away from their regular route (Tualatin/Wilsonville/Tigard), I gave them a big headache calling many times to check time for delivery but, they are not able to give you a time frame, what they are able to is call before heading your way so you can be on site when they arrive which is great, since you do not have to be there all day waiting for them to show up. I want to give an acknowledgement to Mark (manager) for handling my situation with professionalism and not loose his temper with me after that many calls and claims, thank you Mark!And thank you to Best Buy in Town for providing with a great fluffy product and being honest and patient with your customers!

I highly recommend Best Buy in Town. Our neighborhood association hired them to blow in a large quantity of bark into 8 different common areas in our neighborhood. Tim spent a great deal of time with me, helping me estimate the amount of bark we would need. Mark and Morris helped me schedule the installation details, and Mike and Jeff showed up on time with two trucks and 4 hard-working guys who did an excellent job blowing in the bark. They paid careful attention to exactly where I did and didn’t want the bark to go. All the people I met from Best Buy in Town were great. They made it clear that they wanted us to be satisfied with the work they did for us and I definitely was!

Just bout my first house and had some backyard issues the previous owners dog left for me to fix in the backyard.was coming home from work and seen the big truck sign saying “free dirt”.came in and was greeted by a very friendly and professional man who pointed me in the direction I needed to go with instructions on which dirt I could take for free.all I had was a shovel, my truck and myself and wanted to get done ASAP.come to find out...I filled my truck with the wrong dirt... besides being sweaty, tired and embarrassed when a gentleman approached me and told me I had just spent all this time filling my truck with more expensive dirt,the gentleman came out to where I was and after seeing what I had done in a short time under the impression I was thinking I had the right dirt pile but was wrong,cut me a deal and I didn’t have to waste my time shoveling out what I had just shoveled in! This is the place that we bought a lot of organic soil for our garden for so many years.Every year my husband is adding to the garden about four yards of soil. This year Mark helped him have it delivered sooner then we were expecting. Very pleased with customer service.

I was looking for pavers and blocks this morning. No one came and ask me if i need help so i went to the pavers section anyway even if unsure. Im lost because no prices. I asked the guy there and he told me warehouse guy can pull price list. There was a line and finally talked to the guy w white shirt and tattoo, stopped me in the middle of my question to attend soneone else when he came back he said i have to call in to get the price list, wow! So customer would like to buy something w no prices and need to step out to call for prices? Dont know how you got 4.5 stars but not going back and will tell friends my experience

Although this was my first experience with Best Buy, I have already decided to contract with them again next year. Matt and Jose demonstrated exceptional attention to detail when re-barking our property today. The brown hemlock is high quality and smartly accents our lawn, shrubs and flower beds. My experience was excellent with great customer service and product at reasonable prices. I worked with Mark who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me figure out how much mulch I needed and was a pleasure to work with. I will use them again.

I ordered a full unit of bark to be blown in my yard about two years ago. The bark was thinly spread and the amount didnt seem right. The installers assured they spread a full unit of bark. It seemed incorrect but there wasnt a way to prove it. Recently I had my landscapers install 2/3 of a unit and the bark was very thick. If Best Buy sells for cheaper because they deliver less, its not really the best buy. I hate dishonest companies and wont do business with Best Buy Landscape Supply again.Follow up to Joels response - I drive by your business almost every day and know we ordered the bark from you.

Best Buy is an awesome local company! Their staff is friendly and helpful from purchase to delivery. They delivered a generous 2 units of playground cedar chips quickly, after we explained our time frame. The driver even went above and beyond, and let our autistic son explore the truck for a few minutes, which made his day, and ours!

I recommend Best Buy In Town! We called to have one unit of bark dust blown in. Justin and Pablo did a great job! I was unable to be here when they came, they called me to ensure they were at the correct house and we discussed what flowerbeds I did and did not want the bark in. The yard looked amazing when I came home and there was no mess left behind. Best Buy In Town was easy to work with and even matched another quote I had.
