Another great Ace Hardware store. You can expect great service and anything you need for your projects. I had a broken toilet that wouldnt stop running and Ace had just what I needed. I thought I was going to have to buy all new parts for the tank but it turns out all I needed was 2 rubber gaskets! $7 later I had a working toilet!

I love hardware stores. There is always some project that needs something. This particular one is absolutely Fantastic. There is everything I need. The people are helpful and enthusiastic. And their prices compare with the bigger stores. They may be a dollar or two more on some things, but others are cheaper. It evens out when you factor in the helpful staff. Also, if they do not have a something I think I need, they are more than willing to suggest who might. That is excellent customer service in action!!

Isaac went above and beyond! I own a house cleaning business and my newest vacuum had a clog. The bottom plate needed to be removed to clear the clog. I have repaired and maintained my vacuums for years. But Oreck apparently switched out their regular screws for some star screw that is neither metric nor standard. My husband and I had worked hours trying to get that plate off but to no avail. Ace to the rescue! I went in thinking I was going to need to drill out the original star screws but Isaac was determined to get them out. After about 30-45 minutes of lots of tough slipping and working it with an Allen wrench he was able to get them out. And I was able to replace all 8 screws with a standard Phillips head so I can maintain my vacuum now. Thank you so very much Isaac! Thanks Ace!

They have a little bit of most things. Other ACE hardwares tend to have a better selection. Also at this ace hardware I feel like half the store is locked away so you always have to ask an associate for help grabbing anything which is annoying. I have found other ACE hardware stores to have better prices on the same items in the same day as well.

This is easily the most worthless Ace Hardware around town. Literally every single time I come here looking for something, no matter how simple it is, I cannot find what I need. They have less than half the selection of other Ace stores. It is crazy to me that this store is so wildly different from all of the other Ace Hardware stores. Dont keep wasting your time here like I have. Go to a different store.

I called and Vicki supposedly put me on hold but I feel like she hanged up me. I then called back and spoke to a gal who’s name is Maira or something like that. She was nice and answer my question. I just need to check inventory of an item that has been sold out for a couple of months maira helped me more than there so “ called manager” sad to know that she was let go.

Found a few things needed for the house. Always friendly. Have to find an ACE Hardware Store that have trained personal to use a saw. I guess, we were spoiled by the ACE crew in Youngtown, AZ.

This Ace Hardware is well stocked and fairly roomy. The lighting, as in most Ace stores could use improvement. Staff is courteous and helpful. This is a new store, so it is well-ordered and tidy. Ace generally has what most people need to repair and maintain their homes. Opened on 20 August 2018 in half of the footprint occupied by the Marshalls store that used to be here.This is a very well stocked ACE Hardware with more square footage than either ACE Hardware in Aloha or Forest Grove.Im particularly obsessed with the exceedingly diverse selection in the hardware bins isles. The big box stores might be able to underprice an ACE Hardware but when you need that odd bit of hardware NOW your options are to hope that you can find it in your garage (if you even still have it) or just go fetch it from this hardware store.So Im including pictures of all of their hardware bins as a general reference of what they have in store.

Theres lots of stuff and the staff are available and helpful. Its a bit expensive but worth the it because of convenience and location.

Not able to get any help and they have a very very strict return policy even on unused items next day. $7 cost them a customer for life. Poor management.

Richenda changed the entire outcome of my day:) We had gone to Walmart, Target, Fred Meyer and Home Depot looking for space heaters. I understand its warming up but it still goes into the 30s at night, being able to get a heater in an emergency situation is important all year round in Oregon. Ace Hardware uses that logic! They keep fans and heaters stocked all year long, something I wont forget and really appreciate. They also carry other items we never could find during covid. Really great place and people!

Can’t return something that’s not even opened, not even store credit. Employee didn’t let me know about the return policy when I was purchasing. Lady was being rude about it when I was asking her questions about the return policy.

Worker asked what I was in for. I showed him the unusual light bulb and he told me exactly where it was off the top of his head

Ace in Hillsboro was very helpful today. I got keys made and all 5 worked great. Paint was on sale and a very nice salesperson helped me reach the tippy top shelf to get the safety red spray cans. At the counter, the cashier reminded me about my rewards number before completing my transaction. All in all, great experience, no searching for help, no waiting in a line ... thank you.

I dont know, maybe Im just out of place in any hardware store? How can my card be declined before Ive even entered my debit number? Why pulling my masking slightly down while 10 feet away from anyone to answer a question without inhaling it and fogging my glasses so I can see which way they are pointing an actual problem? No one was rude, I think it was me just out of my element and not understanding the recent governmental sanctions but I really wouldnt have pulled it out of my airway had we been 2 feet apart. I found the items I needed thanks to the help, I used the card regardless of the warning. I hope none of that is our new normal.

I was so happy to have this store in the neighborhood and to have an alternative to the big box hardware stores. Today sadly-i will never go back. Despite having posted a must wear mask sign no one was enforcing said sign. This is not legal, safe for other customers or safe for employees.

People in your area work 9-5 so when you get home, start a project, and need an item you go to local harder store to find the dang thing closed... or remember it closes early. Happened to me at least a dozen times now... your a local hardware store, your clientele is the average (local) homeowner. No one is driving 15 minutes and going to drive past the Lowes, Home Depot and a Harbor Freight just to shop at a small, out of the way, limited inventory, hardware store that will probably charge more for an item they might have customer serviceCustomer service is still excellent.I was greeted at the door twice. Once by the cashier and once by a floor attendant(?) Both of them we super nice and knew exactly what I need for the job and where it was all located in the store. In and out.Its a great place if you need to get some basic/advanced dyi household repair needs. Its a bit more personal and easier to collect all your stuff without having to walk a mile or so around the store and have to talk to 3-4 different people. If you know what I mean.

Love Ace Hardware. Im kind of a FYI guy and they usually have just about everything you would need to repair any household item. If they dont it can be ordered and received with in a day or two.

The female manager at the store was extremely rude. I wanted to purchase several of one item and she rudely stated that there was a quantity limit. I pointed out that there was no sign posted, so I was unaware of the limit. If there had been a sign there, I would have honored it. She grabbed the items out of my basket in a huff and accused me of hoarding! I try to frequent smaller businesses, but I wont go back there again!

Well FaZe, Im glad they kissed your feet when you went in: me? No one ever came to ask if I needed anything. After 5 or 6 minutes of standing at the key making service desk, I left. Not only shall I not return to this store I will not go to Any Ace Hardware Store! In a time when so many stores are closing there is no excuse for any customer to have to wait 5 minutes when there are only 2 people shopping! Im having my key made by someone who needs the business.

I dont like that I have to hunt down an employee to unlock most tool display cases, and then have them awkwardly stand there while I mull over my options. Prices are only marginally higher than competitors in the area, but I would still take the extra 10 minutes to drive up the road to a different hardware store, which has better hours, more competitive prices of hardware and specialty tools, plus an overall better selection.

If youre looking for nuts or bolts there is no other place in the entire area that carries a bigger selection of more different types. From stainless steel to regular galvanized they have every kind of bolt or nut you could need including washers and split washers

Very poor customer service and return policy. I attempted to return an item I had just purchased an hour before because it did not work properly for the purpose it was intended . Although I did open the package all the pieces were there and intact and I had repackaged it as well as I could. I did tell them that I had opened it to see if it would fit. They refused to take it back however. I have never had a problem like this with other stores when I needed to return an item. I gave them 2 stars because they do have a lot of items, and although I might return there if I can not find something elsewhere it will certainly be my last choice. The ACE on 185th is a much better place to deal with.

The store has great products however you get treated and followed around by employees as if they think you are going to steal something.

I bought wet/dry vac a month ago. I used the vacuum one time and the suction was terrible. Ive been super busy rennovating a house while working full time and have 3 little kids so returning it took me a while. All I wanted was store credit because I had other purchases to make. I was told I was 2 weeks past my return date... Seriously! Super disappointed in this place. Oh well, home Depot it is I guess.

I prefer Ace Hardware over other stores and its awesome to finally see a store in Hillsboro! The convenience however is soon forgotten when you have to chase down an employee to unlock the cages surrounding all the merchandise. Super lame!

Its a hardware store. They carry all your basic home repair goods. Its fairly new though and needs better staff, every time Ive been here Ive wound up helping customers find what they needed.

I had to find a complicated lightbulb today and this location was amazing and helpful. The door greeter was so sweet and I feel bad that I didnt get her name! Once I let her know what I needed, she called Vicki over and she knew exactly where to take me. She was very knowledgeable and thanks to her help, I was able to get in and out of the store in minutes instead of me trying to compare all the options myself. The store is clean (it is new). But that is the pretty much the only good thing. The isles are super cramped. Its like they asked their planner what the minimum isle size was and then went smaller. Half the items I want are locked up. Why? I have never been to a store this side of Portland that locks up so much merchandise; its annoying to ask for help just to get an item. The hardware is nice and expensive, but there are no labels anywhere to tell you where anything is. Mixed with the small isle problem its a bit hard to actually get to what you want. I will be avoiding this store and headed to the Aloha one.
