While Manono Mini Mart is essentially a convenience store, they are know by the locals for their deli sandwiches. The sandwiches are freshly made to go and are priced reasonably. Definitely not New York deli quality, but for a $8.00 Pastrami sandwich, theyre not too much to complain about. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are not pre-packaged as you would expect from a typical convenience store.

By far the best sandwich place in town! Sandwiches come with lettuce, sprouts, tomato slices, onions, cheese, bread of your choice, and a side of pickles. They have a variety of classic sandwiches and dont skip out one the main ingredients. I love the large tuna without sprouts (while breastfeeding), my husband orders the large chicken salad sandwich, and a plain hotdog for our 5 year old, 2 bottle drinks for a total of $24. Right down the road is Wailoa State Park where you can eat and enjoy on the rivers edge. Great place to grab some lunch for a great price!
