One of my favorite stores, Foodland has fresh raw fish. Good beer prices. Fresh produce. Good place to stock up if youre going holoholo.

My shopping experience for sack n save was fun and safe, everyone always gotta have their mask on up on entering the store other then that it was a fun experience for me .

I have not yet found a better price for poke than Sack N Save. You’ll pay half the price on the same portions and level of freshness than you will anywhere else.

My favorite grocery store as it has everything I need. Except for oatmilk. Love the meat and its smaller so I prefer this to Safeway.

The people at my sock and save are always friendly there to help you its one of the only stores that one Im looking for something the the people working there can see and they all come up to me and theyll help me no other store does that in Hilo as far as Im concerned its family-owned and its comfortable they always have what I need and the pharmacy I love the people at the pharmacy theyre so pleasant with smiles and eager to help thank you second safe for being there for me and for being such a special place to shop

I like the puainako sack n save. They have good clearance deals and the whole store doesnt smell like fried fish anymore. Lines usually go very fast and most of the cashiers are nice.

The sea food corner is what i like there. Always clean and Poke spicy service is always prepared professionally. Only if they have brown rice available every day it would be great.

Wasnt too crowded for a Saturday when I went to check out. Got my reward of a free turkey + other items. The nice worker was putting out more frozen turkeys and asked if I would like the 15+lb. one he was holding! Didnt have to dig around in that freezer anymore! Very nice! This was at the Sack n Save in the Puinako shopping center. Also found some small size pretty face masks that were on sale with your Maikai card! Nice experience today. 🙂

Love Sack N Save and Foodland! I think it is a cheaper version of Foodland? You can register a membership for free in-store or online and save 5-10%? discount each time you visit and earn rewards. Their fired chicken and poke is delicious.

This is our go-to store... its under the Foodland umbrella, sometimes the prices are lower than Foodland but, has the same GREAT quality! And, you can use your maikai card AND your reward coupon which, helps out A LOT 🤙💯

Its better to Shop here later in the evening to avoid all the crowds. The way they have the line setup is a little annoying when there is a alot of people. Always pleasant staff tho which is a A+ in my book.

Pretty good variety of household items and food. Not the cheapest but I try to support local as best as my budget allows. They do, however, have the best seafood in town.

I especially like the fresh fruits offered and of course, the sale prices are super!Keep up the good work....keep the store clean nmost of all be watchful of unnecessary happenings to customers...I.e., water spillage to prevent slipping, falling, etc. Thank you!

Ive been a faithful shopper with Sack N Save and very seldom shop anywhere else. Anna is very knowledgable and has been with you for many years. She is kind and gets to help everyone in need. Very dedicated to her job and your store. Shes definitely a keeper. Ive been shopping in your stores from the late tvs till present. Keep up the awesome work. Mr Sullivans daughter is doing a fantastic job keeping her dads goals and dreams alive.

Third best Foodland / Sack & Save on the island. They have a great beer supply with many different categories, their fish is always fresh but not the largest sample size, they have some of the best pineapples Ive ever bought at a grocery chain.

Its a warm welcoming place to go shopping however I found a bunch of scales in my Poke one day I decided to get it. But....The Vinegar Chicken they sell here is absolutely Dynamite! The chicken cooked to perfection, the chicken is then battered and fried to crisp, whilst continuing to remain juicy. And it tossed in some how some way... A vinegar powder.Their seafood selection at their seafood counter is stupendous, great selection of different sides/pupus. Fresh Poke out for display daily. And for $10 a pound, cant go wrong here!The produce/groceries over here is a must to come for. By far I dont care who says what, Sack n Save has the BEST produce anywhere in town. Its cheap/affordable, and the quality of their produce is great(buy their steaks! By far the most tender if cooked properly)!This place ties it all in together with their great team/employees, they all work really well, and theyre all so friendly. The main reason why i stopped shopping at KTA; Some employees KTA can be extremely rude, but not at Sack n Save!Overall great place to shop for produce(and beer), try their vinegar chicken, and come her for steaks, poke, and beers! And Friendly and Helpful employees!

Good location, the store is usually always empty at night with no long lines, good redbox locations for quick redbox return. There is a lot of parking and various fast food locations near by. One issue is the refrigerator with fresh fish smells like bad fish and it’s been like that for several months, cleanliness is not the greatest but the isles are nice and wide and easy to maneuver around with a shopping cart. There is also no minimum purchase for cash back which is great.

For grocery shopping you can find pretty much anything you need. Price is on the other hand is a bit higher than some competitors such as KTA or Walmart but still affordable. Clean and organized plus workers are friendly.

They had everything a tourist might want. I had a miniplate with Korean fried chicken, and scallop poke. It was all fresh and tasty.

The parking lot speed bumps scrape the bottom of my vehicle so I could not shop there. Ive let person in charge of the parking area know about the problem and her response was that the speed bumps keep drivers from speeding. My response was that they could be just as effective if they werent so big. I know other people whove had the same problem there and no longer shop at Sack N Save because they dont want to damage their oil pans.

There is a huge selection of products but take your time when browsing there is a lot of great deals to find.

Its where I go for cheap beer and poke, the fried chicken in the deli, you will find half is dry and half is fresh.

Came here after the large national chain store was out of what I needed, store employees were very helpful, prices on some items were a lot cheaper and you dont need to buy 4-6 items to get the sale price. The lines were short and sweet, nice employees, super shopping experience.
