Brought my wifes vehicle in for work after a hit and run. Only had interactions with the ladies up front and they are fantastic! Iam very disappointed. And unhappy ( I did found scratches in my vehicle and they did was there before . And they told me to fix it they will charge me . Does scratches didn’t was there when I left the vehicle. I can not understand what they did. They charge many 100$ dollar s to fix it : and what they didn’t they pain over one scratch or 2 . I didn’t found scratches on side truck . Front truck and back . . And didn’t was there before .. we also compare pics with the shop on side of the vehicle and the scratches didn’t was there . They gave me some paint to fix the scratches. But they didn’t fix it just paint it over. (I recognize they did a good job with replacement or fixing bumper ) and the scratch on door ( expensive) . But I didn’t expect my vehicle in 7 days I left truck there at the shop I will find many scratches .above bumper also silver part . Next to passenger door . And back door

Simple fix to install a window and they took all day, then called right before they were closing for me to pick up. Because it would take me a half an hour to get there, I wouldnt be able to make it before they left. I had to give instructions to leave the keys in my unlocked car and was not pleased about having to do that. I needed to return my rental car that day, and wanted to be done with everything. Also before this, I brought another vehicle in for an estimate through my insurance company and got a second estimate at Hilton Head Auto Body. Was informed that Advanced missed a crack in a part that had to do with my air conditioning, so the repair may not have been done completely, which would require me to return for more work.Between the two, Hilton Head auto body is better. Ive used both.

5 star service and 5 star repair! I had to have a door repaired on a 2012 RED Toyota Tundra. I say RED because I was worried if they were going to be able to make the red match. Fabulous repair and the paint matches perfectly!! Thank you Karen and thank you repair staff!!!

So, I am writing this after been here 2 times.1. We hot a brand new car with my wife and 4 days later a ...lady passed a red light and t-boned us. We were very anxious and uncertain what we supposed to do. Glenda took care of us. She was calm, explained why we should trust them, she was giving us updates through email and calls all the time. Thank you Glenda. And thank you to the mechanics of course.2. The second time a deer jumped in front of...the same car. So now we had to fix mainly the front side. Granted, the mechanics forgot a small broken light but they immediately accept it back to fix it, without ANY ISSUES,PAPERWORK AND OTHER ANNOYING EXCUSES. Even more Glenda was talking with enterprise that gave us a loaner, and she was updating them so we didnt have to deal with this either.They did great job at the car both times, and I strongly suggest you to talk with Glenda Slattery that does a great job communicating.She is amazingly awesome especially in unpleasant situations like these, where your world falls apart.

I recently had a complete overhaul of body and paint done on my Landrover. I have never been so impressed with the company as I have been with Advanced Auto Body. Clay, Glenda and their team are absolute professionals in their business. I have had so many comments on my car, I could not be happier! I would definitely recommend them to a friend or to anyone as being a straight up honest and reasonable price company but does exceptional work!

This company is absolutely terrible with communication. I had to constantly keep calling them. They said “we’ll call you by the end of the day” and never called me. They said “we’ll email you your estimate” and never emailed me even after I constantly called them. When I walked in to get my car, they ALL ignored me. No proper greeting, nothing. The ‘workers’ broke stuff in my car. Had to just have thrown it. Terrible and would NOT reccomend. Worst experience ever. Regret going to them.

Recommended by MB Hilton Head. Worst experience ever!!!! STAY AWAY!!! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION... PATTERN!!!!!! Went through 2 items on my car, 1. Passenger door, hood, and around windshield chips...also sides of rear window, gets sunburned down here and loses gloss on both of mine. I asked for separate Quotes, Sherry only provided one via phone and email, assuming that was for both items as it was not itemized, I said go ahead. (Perhaps my fault, if NOT, confirmed with her!) Then when she gave me the overall bill, I was very surprised as it went from about $1,200...to almost doubling??? So Sherry says Oh, I thought maybe you didnt understand...I told her I absolutely did not as I never would have okd it. The discussion we had lead me to believe $1,200 for touch up repair was total for everything.They had overspray on a large area, passenger door and front quarter panel...on both sides of repair, knocked off and lost one of my decals, for my Mercedes SL 65 AMG.They ALSO BROKE my grill and tried to put it on me.... I told Sherry we did a walk through on the front end, and nothing was noted.I asked her very plainly to go to the owner and see what They would be willing to do since they did not do a good job and overcharged me beyond belief, The owner took $45 off of over $2,100+.H &H Automotive on N end.

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with an auto body. I am from out of town and have been working down here for the summer. My car got hit and I had to get it towed. We called AAA and they came with a tow truck and took my car to Advanced Auto Body. I got a estimate for my car and then a few days later it went up another $1,000. Once I received my car two weeks later, I had to return due to the bumper not lining up right, my alignment was off, and my front left fender was completely detached. When I asked if they could fix these they screwed my fender in and slightly fixed my bumper. They referred me to Island Auto Service to fix my alignment. I spoke with Ron and he said that he was to back up today can you come another day? So, I had to make an appointment with them to get my alignment fixed. Long story short, Ive had to go out of my way multiple times to get my car fixed when they shouldve done it right to begin with. Looks like to me they just hurried to get it done instead of taking their time to fix it. The amount of money they wanted they did a horrible job. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Repairs are done right the first time. I guess thats the most important measure of an auto repair shop. My only complaint was how dirty (filthy) my car was when I picked it up. They did try to clean it, yes. But my 5 year old neighbor could have done a better job. But like I said, it does appear to have been repaired correctly.

Dropped my car off for a quote, the shop proceeded to do work on it after I let them know that is not what I wanted. Asked to speak to the owner twice with no return phone call. They lied to the insurance company and tried to get me to sign papers for authorization of repairs after they chose to do it at their own free will. I wouldn’t recommend them. Their service is awful, they will hang up the phone, and intimidate you into accepting their work.

Have used them after a tree fell on my Prius and more recently to repair damage to my Hyundai Elantra. Glenda works with everything USAA connected, and she’s like having a concierge to oversee the estimate, the project, the paperwork, car rental and to communicate with you and your insurer. The work is impeccable. The staff are friendly, efficient and very customer oriented. Car repair is at the very least inconvenient, this company is the antidote. MJ Leverette, Bluffton

I hit a deer in our 2014 Honda Odyssey at night while returning to HHI. The deer hit at 50MPH directly in the center of the front grill. After the tow to the shop we stopped in a couple days later to go over the necessary repairs. It was extensive. We discussed OEM vs aftermarket parts. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We understood the car would take about 3ish weeks to repair and paint. During the entire process they kept us up to date twice/week with their progress. We were on vacation in HHI at the time of the incident so we had to return to pick up the vehicle. As the delivery date approached they were very honest with the expected date. They had to drive it to Honda to recalibrate the camera in the windshield which required an appointment which added a day to the schedule. Once we picked up the vehicle it looked new again (we had purchased the vehicle used just 3 weeks prior to this event). They color matched the paint perfectly. Upon pickup we drove the vehicle a bit before accepting it. Then on the way home we noticed the car was slightly out of alignment. we also had a engine overheat warning occasionally. This wasn’t anything we noticed at slower speeds but at highway speeds became very noticeable. At this point we were on our way to my child’s college orientation in Virginia. We called back to the shop and they said to take it to Honda and they would reimburse us for the cost. We immediately called Honda in Charlotte who was able to conduct the alignment while we waited. After getting on the road again we sent pictures of the repair and receipt to the shop. We were reimbursed a few days later.I was very impressed with their ability to put our van back together. They stand by their warranty and promise to return your vehicle the way it should be repaired. One other minor issue was an occasional check engine light which was intermittent. It turned out to be a faulty part causing a nuisance warning. We had this repaired at a local repair shop recommended by Advanced Autobody. We didn’t not pay for this repair either. It’s now been 4 months since then and 6k miles with no issues. They did. Great job. I’d recommend them for minor to major repairs.

A lazy ripoff but most people on the island are too rich and retired to care. Yes, the island that charges $9 for a beer is ripping everyone off 24/7... It took one month to repair my car and then they tried to return it with the check engine light on. I said that was not on before and they tried to pressure me to say it was... Disgusted by the whole thing...

Dont go here... they left my car out in the rain causing thousands of dollars of damage and refusing to fix all of them.. they left my window open and my trunk open in the rain.
