After a terrible experience at Walgreens, my CVS experience was fantastic. If you need a Perscription filled on the island, come to CVS
This store is normally wonderful. Unfortunately the best pharmacist is on pregnancy leave and the other got moved to another that was in trouble. So they have had wondering pharmacists lately. Second unfortunate is that the nearby Walgreens pharmacy is closed due to lack of pharmacists - thus they are doing ALL the local work. But in the 10 years that I have used them and referred patients to them, have never seen nor heard a complaint until recently. Come on people
Helped us get a prescription transfered over from Walgreens. Took care of it quickly.Pharmacist was great.
NIGHTMARE!!! My wife was terribly ill. The doctor called in a prescription. We came 4 hours after they said it would be ready. They said it wouldn’t be ready for another hour. We come back an hour later. They tell us they are out of the medicine!! To make matters worse they can’t tell us when it will be in stock and are unwilling to check with other pharmacies to see if it’s in stock. My wife calls an hour later because she’s so sick and can’t do without the medicine to see if she can get it anywhere else. They say oh yea we have it come get it. So she comes in and waits for another hour. They say oh we have to count it, it’s not ready. She waits back through another line and they ask for her insurance. She gives it to them and they said ugh we are too busy you’ll have to go another line. She obliges and when they are finished they say you’ll have to go back through the line to get your prescription which now has 10 people. Of course the line never moved. She ended up having to go through the drive thru. It was an ALL DAY NIGHTMARE!! The employees were rude. The store was filthy. It was clearly inept management. Worst service we have ever experienced.
I was seen at the minute clinic and Nurse Practitioner Ms. Rose was very caring and helpful. I appreciate herhelp so much.
Do not go here! I did not appreciate the entire store being given the information that I was there for the shot as one of the ladies behind the counter shouted it very loudly after I checked in, it was all i could do not to question her.Do not go here if you want a vaccine given to you literally on the floor in the lobby. She knealt down in the waiting area and set the needle on the floor before giving me the shot. She unprofessionally rambled on about how she does more than actual doctors, meanwhile her face was covered in open sores and acne and she was not wearing a mask while being inches from me.The way they were literally judging the customers around me for asking where things were. Small things too, like splints and itching cream. Things that our your job! Everyone behind that counter needs a lesson in smiling and customer service and how to not act ghetto.Horrifying experience! Will never be returning.Wont be shocked if no one from the company actually responds to this as they appear to not care either. Yall are going down hill, fast. Especially if thats the kind of people you hire.
If you are in a hurry DO NOT go through the drive through. We sat in our car for over 15 minutes before anyone even showed up at the window. Absolutely horrific service.
I needed two very simple prescriptions while on vacation, one was an inhaler. After two days they still were not ready. They would not talk to me at 7:55 when they had already closed (they don’t actually close until 8), the next day I was on hold forever trying to get them transferred. The staff was hateful. Rescue inhalers are dire medications, if you’re in need do not go there!
Used to be fairly good. Now they can’t seem to fill prescriptions. It now takes days to fill, I have been waiting 6 days for 2 supposed automatic refills. Just as bad if your physician calls in a rush order.
Unbelievable that it takes 45 minutes to pick up a prescription already ready! Won’t share details of how a clerk fills a script vs handing it off with 15 people in line. Our healthcare system is in a crisis! Very sad day!
This CVS was very busy, with long lines to check out; they were also very poorly stocked, with some empty shelves and many other items unavailable.
This is worst pharmacy ever!!! Refills take days to get filled. Staff is unprofessional and not friendly!!! Wish my insurance company still allowed me use Walgreens. Oh how I miss Walgreens!!!
Tried for 3 days twice a day for 30 minutes listing to their elevator music and Covid message to get a hold of the pharmacy to get a prescription transfered.NO.ONE.EVER.ANSWERED.THE.PHONEDrive the 6 miles to the other side of the island and go to that CVS. They were friendly and answered the phone.
Great customer service!👍
Had everything I needed and fair price.
The pharmacy medical staff are wonderful,, accommadating andno matter how pressed for time, they are always courteous and display aconcern for the customers needs. Thank you all. Stay safe
This is the worst CVS ever..filled wrong prescription and ditto on the 45 minute elevator music..hire people please!
The minute Clinic with Katie on duty for my ear problem was a five star experience. Very thorough, no rush,, informative and a genuine caring person. That was a real old fashion corner drug store experience. She took a moment...for you. That said, I did have to move on to an ENT which did find the ear problem. However this general store and pharmacy has customer service issues that were not there years ago with some of the old staff. They stopped to take a moment for you... was there anything else they could help you with? And this was not at the check out when you were done, it was while you were still shopping. ( and buying) It was more of your corner drug store feeling then, where the pharmacist knew your name and was glad to help you and answer any questions or help you find something if the store was busy. Employees stopped in the isle to ask if you need help finding something or suggesting that something similar was on sale. They were knowledgeable about their products and want to help you save money. They worked together, like a team, not in a grid. Now it’s a big box mentality where there are more products but employees punch in and out & pharmacists live in their own area obvious to the customer and the rest of the store.Perhaps I’m old fashion but some of the reviews more critical than mine suggest a little tweaking would be beneficial for this store. Tourist season is tough, yes, but the local community is there when tourists are not.
Asked employee where Q-Tips was. Employee didn’t know and said they didn’t have any... may need to educate employees on where things are and what CVS carries.
Worst CVS I’ve ever encountered two visits in a row. Straight up miserable employees.First bad experience was with the male pharmacist, who was the rudest person I’ve ever met. He refused to call my insurance company even though I had the card and an email proving I had said insurance. I ended up having to pay out of pocket due to his laziness and lack of cooperation. I was nothing but polite during the entire ordeal, however he still started barking at me and other individuals waiting in line.Second bad experience was with a large male employee. I was picking up photo prints and had an email saying that they were ready. I was kind and told him don’t worry about it, however he popped off on me about how he didn’t have the order and it wasn’t his fault since he couldn’t control the system. Not sure why this outburst occurred since I didn’t give any attitude and once again was nothing but polite. Will be taking my business elsewhere on the island.
My spouse visited this establishment tonight to pick up a few snacks and he felt uncomfortable. He noticed that he was shadowed on several aisles by an employee. The employee didnt even ask if he needed help. With the current environment thats going on in this country, you may want to have conversations about racially profiling to your employees.
Took my last minute rx and everything was the way it’s supposed to be. Friendly clerks and great service. I would recommend them anytime.
Good deal on travel toothbrush ($1.60) and toothpaste ($1.50).
Im sorry and disappointed that Mr. Joe Mendon was terminated from CVS.Joe had an outgoing and happy personality that was rarely seen at the pharmacy.A poor choice on managements part! If differences can be resolved, and management has the gumption to do so, hire Joe back. Im sure a young person who is more concerned with numbers would not understand the importance of customer service and satisfaction. Joe made a drug store visit fun.And At CHRISTMAS...it is just WRONG.5 stars for Joe Mendon!
I never write bad reviews, but I felt the need to do it today. Attempted to purchase Sudafed yesterday. The pharmacy tech tried repeatedly to enter my info and had a difficult time. The pharmacist then came over and tried. After 10 minutes he quickly told me I couldnt get any because the system was done. He was unapologetic and just walked away and didnt even ask if he could ring my other medications. So, I hiked to the front with all of my items ( my arms were full). Then, the cashier rung me up. Went to leave and she chased me to the door telling me she only rung me up for one 12 pack and not the 3 I had on the counter. UGG! No apologies again. Bad customer service. Bad employee training at this CVS.
7/26/17 my wife just brought some cheerios that were a daymn year old!.... enough said!.... Hilton head island is not what it seems at this location very unpleasant and I work retail as a freight manger
This store is packed with everything you need! Pharmacy was very quick, helpful and the pharmacist was readily available to help customers. Multiple checkouts open so no real wait time to purchase.
Worst pharmacy ever! The pharmacist point blank refused to assist me in finding my child over the counter medicine simply because I did not take his advise and get my child seen by a doctor for antibiotics. Told me there was no such medicine for swimmers ear. Had to find it myself!
Terrible service at the pharmacy!!! We filled a prescription for antibiotics for our daughter that the pharmacy failed to mix properly. They were slow and rude when we returned to correct their mistake. Then, when I finally got back to give the medicine to my daughter, there was medicine all over the outside of the container. Not many choices on HHI, but I strongly recommend that you shop elsewhere if you can.
Great location and ow of the largest cvs I’ve seen ...: they have everything plus!
Always a pleasure going to pick up my Meds my phamicist is always happy she always greets me with a smile ( she is the best at flu shots ) so thank you thank you for being so nice
Best service. Shontell was incredibly patient with my grandmother when she struggled to get through the transaction
Awful service. Avoid. Tried to charge me $600 when I requested generic at correct price of $161
This CVS was the worst caring system. You are nothing but a number and price tag. Stay clear of this one vets
Small but packed store. It has the essentials. Great staff
Nice cvs. Very easy to transfer prescriptions over from out of town!
Horribly run pharmacy. No attention to customers, slow service, scripts not ready when they said they were. Great suntan selection.
Rudest pharmacist I have ever dealt with. Snarky and short tempered. Rude.
Loved it Mallory and Sabrina are awesome and Isaac is a jam up professional thanks to the cvs on pope road, love it!
Great place on the island, has everything.
Great selection. Clean store. Friendly staff.
Wonderful service, on vacation and they were very professional and accommoidating
This pharmacy is the worst and rudist people I have ever had to deal with they could not find the account for a person who has been going there for years they are totally inept
Bad
Heck. It was a CVS. Had the usual selection. I didnt need the pharmacist or any other help. Had what I went there to find.
Waited over 1 hour to get prescriptions filled said they had all of it, they did not had to have medications, out of town had to go somewhere else.
Pharmacist was extremely rude to me when I inquired about the cost of a medication for one of my patients.
Nice service
Just the norm. Service is not the best....
Worst run Pharmacy I have ever encountered.
It was scary in there because it was Halloween.
