TINNITUS and or HEARING LOSSWOW! I’m super excited to find someone locally that has the experience and experiences tinnitus. The moment I walked into the door I felt like I was not alone and knew what I was experiencing. The staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Rose introduced himself, sat me down, and discussed not only what he experiences as being a person who tinnitus but what he finds to be the best option to help with his tinnitus. What? Do you have something that will help with my tinnitus? Ive been told on two occasions (4 years now) the only solution is to go to Emory or Duke and have someone there run a sound test on my ears and their is really not much they could do for me here locally. WELL, LOOK (excited) no further we have someone LOCALLY that can give you that same knowledge, experience, and solutions right here. The process was easy, friendly, and Randy was super knowledgeable on my hearing test, options, and solutions for my tinnitus. You see I do not have a hearing problem, just dining. Good experience though after a few days I seem to have problems. Each time that I have gone back for a check, everyone is friendly, professional, knowledgable. I knew my 2014 Otico Rias needed tuning so I called Steve based on a recommendation from a friend. Steve didnt have the software to update my appliances but, after producing a new audiogram (BTW - free with no obligation), he determined that, even if he did have the program for the Oticoms, he did not feel that there would be enough frequency adjustability to compensate for my current hearing situation.There was NO pressure sales. Options were discussed, questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly, and I was free to go - which I did.I contacted the audiologist who last tuned the Oticons (2019), they pulled my history and agreed that we were at the limits of adjustability. I went back to Rose Hearing and had new appliances 24 hours after my call.VERY IMPRESSED. Hopefully the experience will remain positive as I adapt to these new Widex Moments.

Steves patience, thoroughness, and standards of excellence are a credit to Rose Hearing. My new hearing aids are well suited to compensate for the difficulties I had with an old pair. Due to arthritis in my hands, they were no longer used. Steve took a mold of my ear and fitted me with aids that have changed life for me (and my wife). Simple to use and maintain, I can now hear perfectly without creating a blaring hell in the house with a too-loud TV. In fact, my wife, who has excellent hearing, has asked me on a number of occasions to turn the TV up a notch. Hows that for success? My visit to the Bluffton store was a waste of time because the sales person spent all the time telling me that my current hearing aids were worthless and that the store that I bought them from 2 years ago overcharged me and that I badly needed what Rose was selling me, I wasnt told how good Rose was, just how dumb I was to do business with the firm that had sold them to me.
