Best experience ever!! Dakota was the best!! helped me so much I had a couple of questions he was always a phone call away to help.. You definitely see more of the island. If you are visiting please keep in mind uber and Taxi’s aren’t that accessible.. It was so fun biking on the beach it’s a hard sand you can go for miles with little effort even against the wind!! Avocado bike shop is the place to rent. Dakota thanks again can’t wait to come back

My cousin and I had a great time yesterday on HHI! She came down from Michigan for a couple days and it was her first time riding an electric bike!!! She hadn’t ridden a bike in years so she was a little concerned if she could do it! She loved it so much now she wants an electric bike for herself!!! I feel the same, once you ride an electric bike it’s hard to go back to a regular bike!! If you haven’t tried it, now is the time!! Ken and his crew at Avocado Bike are wonderful to work with!!! We had an awesome experience with Avocado Bikes and everyone that works there! We decided to rent bikes instead of a car and we did not regret it. The team at Avocado Bikes is so helpful in the whole process, getting you comfortable with the bike, and is always available to answer questions during your rental. The bikes themselves are awesome but I really can’t think of a more supportive experience with a rental company from start to finish than we had here, and we’ve rented a lot over the years. We had a great experience with Avocado! They were more than willing to help accommodate our constantly changing plans because of the weather. Best part of our Hilton Head trip was riding electric bikes on the beach!

My husband and I agree, we will never go back to regular bikes after using the Avocado Electric Bikes.We were able to clock about 20-30 miles in a span of 3 hours. We were able to bike down to the far most edge of the beach, back into the main island, through a long nature trail, over the Broad Creek bridge and finally back to the store. After all that riding, we were so glad we could see and experience as much as the island that we could for our one full day at Hilton Head!Highly recommend these guys! Super knowledgeable, helpful, patient with questions and guiding on how to ride. These guys have the best bike product around hands down!

These bikes are well worth the money! The manager Dakota was extremely helpful. We had such a good time riding along the beach with these. Definitely will be renting from here on our next trip down.

We rented the avocado electric bikes and we loved them. So easy to pedal and we were able to go for miles on the beach. The avocado electric bikes are the only ones that we found that were able to be ridden on the beach. Dakota was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed the bike and trailer we rented. Absolutely effortless pedaling for my wife who hadnt ridden a bike in ten years! I was looking at many bikes online, had narrowed it down and then rented an ebike from Avocado. Feel in love with the experience. The bike was fantastic. BUT DAKOTA was amazing. Working in sales I recognize passion and Dakota is passionate about Avcado Bikes. These bikes are an investment and a lot of electronics. Customer Service is important. I had a few questions so I called. Dakota was so patient with me, he even FaceTimed so he could see what I saw. I’m convinced I made the right choice. My first ride was 26 miles it was a breeze and beautiful. Since I have retired this was the first decision I made and it was a good one.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our bike rental with Fang and Avocado bikes. We had no reservations but were out on our bikes within 10 minutes. The bikes were great quality and the battery made getting around the island a breeze.

As our first time on HHI, we quickly discovered that transportation was very hard to come by until we found Avocado Bikes! These things are great, we went everywhere on the island with no troubles and very little effort whether it was on beach, trail or incline. Our only regret is not finding these earlier in our trip, we turned our one day rental into multiple days!

We’ve rented bikes for half a day here and were helped by Dakota. He did a great job setting us up with the bikes and they were great to ride! We easily did 15 mi in half a day thanks to the electric assist. Would rent again

Love, love, love these bikes and this shop!!! We’ve rented these bikes several times. They are so fun to ride both on the paths and on the beach! You can ride for hours and not be tired! Dakota at the shop is so helpful and knowledgeable about these bikes. He is attentive to your needs and makes sure you are comfortable with the bike. I would highly recommend these folks and this bike to anyone coming to HHI!!!

My wife and I spend 2 months on HHI every winter. Usually we pedal regular bikes but this year due to my wife’s knee replacement we opted for an EBike. Her on an EBike and me on a regular bike didn’t work out. I couldn’t keep up! (Not speed but endurance).Therefore we rented another for me. So with her new knee and me with two new hips, we began enjoying biking on the island. Never again will we be without TWO Avocado Bikes. Thanks Dakota for all your help.

We rented two bikes via the internet before we arrived on Hilton Head Island. When we arrived at Avacado Bikes they quickly got us on our way. We especially enjoyed riding the bikes on the beach. The Avacado bikes are very user friendly and easy to handle. We have rented other electric bikes elsewhere before and some of the electric bikes are heavy and hard to handle. We would recommend Avacado bikes to anyone who wants to try an electric bike.

My avocado bike was perfect for Hilton Head. With the pedal assist I was able to go further without fatigue. My time enjoying the bike paths and the beach were the best. Dakota was so knowledgeable and made sure all of my needs were met. Don’t hesitate- rent an avocado bike and enjoy the ride!

The ebikes give you just the boost you need to explore Hilton Head without wearing yourself out. We rented three, including one for our 12-year-old daughter and a mini trailer for our 18-pound dog. For two days, they got us to the beach from our hotel, the Palmera. Perfect since our hotel did not have direct beach access. The trails around HH and the wide beaches make for great, and safe, riding. And the staff at Avocado are super friendly. Fancier ebikes exist, but that’s not what you’ll need for your next HH trip. And the price is right at Avocado.

Oh my gosh! The electric bikes are amazing! And the price was excellent! Electric bikes are trending on the west coast and Hilton Head avocado bike company is one of the few places in this area that has them. You gotta try it you won’t be disappointed
