Very poor experience with Hinesville Georgia store. Cannot size correctly. Once ring was back after 2 sizing attempts still wrong. Then 2 days later a stone fell out. Needless to say we returned and got refund. Stay away at all costs!!!!!!!!! Update, we are still waiting for refund on return from August 18th. Tried calling store manager, never there, doesnt answer emails. Had to call the toll free customer service and found out check was just mailed yesterday August 31st, despite Hinesville store telling us 7-10 business days. Crooked liars for sure. Head my word stay away!!!!
I wish that I could give this store 0 stars. I bought a warranty for my necklaces. When I purchased the warranty I was told of the necklace broke that they would repair it and if they could not repair it they would replace it. The necklace broke and they refused to repair it they refused to refund me any of my money and they also refused to replace it. They did offer for me to buy a more expensive necklace and I could pay the difference. This store is the WORST. The service is horrible and they will rip you off by offering you a warranty that they refuse to honor. Thanks a lot Frank.
I wish I could give this location 5 stars due to Miss Cheryls attentiveness, but the fact that I was about to pay over 700 dollars for a ring I found on the Kay website for 359 dollars, with no information other than the research I did myself (all for the sake of commission) does NOT sit well with me. Very disappointed and will continue to shop w Kay, but keep my purchases online from now on.
I came in to turn in a ring to be sent of for inspection and cleaning. Why was I having to wait while people came in after me were being helped. No one would listen to me and felt so ignored.
My brother and I have been shopping kays in hinesville for years. Anytime we feel it is time to treat ourselves, Frank and the rest of the family make it their mission for you to leave with a smile on your face, confidence in your walk, and royalty in your heart. We will be back soon.
This place is a joke. Been waiting since August for my refund check, I can’t tell if everyone is just incompetent or they just never plan on giving me the check. Either way I am never shopping at Kay jewelers again and advice no one to come here. Jared’s was cool though.

Went with the wife to browse the necklaces. The lady working greeted us immediately and pointed us directly to what we asked for, which was nice. The saleslady wasnt pushy or only showing us the pricey pieces and encouraged my wife to try on everything that caught her eye. I regret not getting her name, but she was late 30s Latino woman with a slight accent. Amazing employee and amazing service. I walked out with two necklaces and a set of earrings, all because of her help. Ill be back just because of her.
Horrible customer service. So eagerly to help when I was purchasing item.I was unsatisfied with my earrings I purchased.I went back to Kay Jewelery and Frank acted like he didn’t know me. When he told me his whole life story how his son and wife were sick.I think now it was a way for me to feel sorry for him. I was told I could only receive a checkRefund I’m the mail. Since the store doesn’t keep cash. If I would of know that I would of used my debit card/credit card. I asked if I could come back tomorrow when they would have cash on hands. Frank stated just call I have no idea. Great customer service I would not make my customer call and suggest to call other stores. I should of listen to my daughter she stated mom don’t shop at Kay the merchandise is cheap and over priced and frank and that store have horrible customer service. I’m going to drive to Jacksonville so I can get some decent customer service.I found a pair of earrings better quality for 60% cheaper. I think us consumers forget ! It’s better to go to a jeweler instead a chain always going to be cheaper Jewelery at a higher price!
The gentleman that helped us as well as the store manager were beyond helpful. They took their time to make sure my indecisive fiancé was happy. They’re demonstrated professionalism, patience, and tact.
Short version: I ordered a ring that was not in the store. Kays didnt actually order it. When we called about it a second time, the sales rep fixed the problem by discounting another ring.Longer version:I went to Kay Jewelers to buy a ring at Black Friday prices ($40) from the advertisement. They were out of stock for that ring, so I had to order it from a sales rep in the store. I was told I would be called when it arrived within the next two weeks.Two weeks went by, and I called for an order update. It had not arrived in the store yet. The sales rep said she would call or e-mail met once she figured out what the hold up was. She never followed up with me.I called the store again 12/18 to check up on this ring. I was informed it was no longer available.What do you mean no longer available, I asked, I ordered this ring when it was available.Im sorry, sir. There is nothing further we can do to help you, the male rep replied.This is a screw up that was made by your store. I have a wife that is expecting a ring for Christmas which was ordered over a month before the holiday.The male offered to call me back. When they called back, they offered a double halo for the same price. But, we had to check it out today as they would not hold it.When we came in, we werent crazy about it, but they significantly discounted the ring because of the trouble caused by the screw up. The situation would have been better had they ordered the ring the first time, but it ended much better than it could have thanks to the sales representatives.
If I could leave no stars, I would. Absolutely the worst experience ever. My husband bought me earrings and a necklace and spent about $1,700, for my birthday. Shortly after we decided to get married so we decided to take back the earrings and put it towards getting an engagement ring and wedding band. He initially purchased the earrings and necklace from the Hinesville location in Georgia. We went to the Pooler location in Georgia to return it. The representative told us we would have to contact Treasury to let them know where to mail us the check. We told them the address and now it’s been OVER 3 MONTHS AND WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR CHECK. We’ve called multiple times and EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY HAD OUR ADDRESS DOWN WRONG. I’ve even had them read it back to me letter by letter and they still managed to get it wrong! And they told us every time it will take 7-10 business days. I’m telling you, we’ve been through this about 6 - 7 times over the past 3 months. You would think they would expedite the check or do SOMETHING to make up for it but no. This has been a horrible experience and put our marriage on hold. If Kay Jewlers is reading this, WE WANT OUR CHECK AND ARE STILL WAITING.

Now this is going to be my THIRD time putting in a review for these people. I want to start off by saying that there are some gems that work there and are the sweetest and most kind souls you will find. Also that I thought the issue was only the manager which I dealt with many a time in clothing that made my appearance not of the high paying variety, which impacted greatly my experience with them. HOWEVER, it is more of the employees than i thought. I called in today to ask if I can pay over the phone with them and to get the number, even though they wholeheartedly gave me the information before I could even finish my sentence after that the gentleman that answered the phone hung up on me. Today I paid my last bill, and it’ll be the last time in that specific store.
LETS make it simple the manager is not no someone who needs to working a customer service job. As for that one African American guy he should be the manager. He helped me every time I went to buy or pay a bill etc. But I was not the manager professionally.

The prongs on my ring split in half, losing the diamond with them. It took nearly 2 months to repair. I got my ring back yesterday (finally) and it looks absolutely NOTHING like my original ring. The diamond is smaller, the prongs are not symmetrical, theres a huge dent in the metal... I just decided to take the ring and bring my money elsewhere rather than continue letting Kay Jewelers even touch it anymore. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Please do yourself a favor and give your money to a jeweler that makes quality jewellery and cares about their customers.
The Hinesville store is amazing!! The best service I have ever experienced ever!!! They are able to help and understand what you are wanting and or needing to buy!!
What a difference a day makes.... Go in 1 day get treated with customer service that everyone expects. As a card holder that what u look for. The very next day totally different. Rep to busy telling what I cant do instead of listening to what I said. Then continued to get smart mouth and being sarcastic. But the how we do each other when they think u trying to get something for free.

Purchased a Open Hearts watch a few year ago, when it stopped working I took it in and they sent it out to find the problem. I was then called and told it would be almost $200 to fix it, I declined. when I finally got it back I took it to a local jewelry store and it just needed a new Eco battery which cost $45, shameful
I called to check the status of my ring I was getting resized. The lady on the phone said my ring was in, they tried called me July 19th,but couldnt leave a voicemail. I dropped my ring off just a few days before that and went in to pay on July 21st. No one said anything about my ring being there for 4 days so I just assumed it wasnt in yet. I waited a few weeks to call, normally these things take time. My ring has now been there for a month. No further attempts to reach me, but again I WALKED IN to pay and no one bothered to tell me it was there. Horrible customer service.
Charges for every little thing possible and ruined an engraving. The employees are polite but, maintenance is awful.
