I wish i could give 0 stars.Bad customer service, very rude, i got kicked out of the store, because I didnt have an actual mask, while my mouth and nose was covered, just like the sign at the door says. Nobody offered a mask, they kicked me out yelling at me, after i showed the sign they said we could offer you a mask, i thought you didnt want one meanwhile i was covering my mouth and nose all the time.
I dont even remember the cashiers name but she made me cry as soon as I got to my car. Her attitude was poor, and when she asked if I wanted to redeem my rewards money I said yes. I needed to put in a zipcode but both zipcodes did not work, keep in mind she was already impatient. She asked for my name and it turns out the name was under my grandpas, and I would always do his walgreens info for him before he passed. She then told me I could not redeem my cash because I am a different person than him, and I am not allowed to use someone elses info. I then reassured her that is my grandpa, to which she kept saying no, and then I asked even if he is dead? And she rolled her eyes and said well yeah. She then did not even put the receipt in my bag, she just sort of threw the receipt on top of the counter. Such poor customer service and attitude. It is not even about the money I could have redeemed, it is more so her attitude and disrespect towards the situation.
Got an appointment for the second Covid Shot at 8pm. Came 15 min earlier: “Sorry, maam, we cannot accept you before your time appointment.” Waited. Was there at 8:00 sharp. Aaand they made me wait for 30 minutes still ! Considering that I was the only one there. Perfect.
Yesterday I went to the pool with my 9 year old. She was in the water and sun for a long time she got a rash in her leg which is so so painful she could not walk. So I think, my friendly Walgreens! I could go by the drive thru, not leave my kid alone in the car, and get a medication for the rash. We were waiting for a long time in the car line. Well I did not order online, not prescription, but THEY COULD NOT GET IT FOR YOU, MAM, AT THE WINDOW, YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE. I explained the situation but I got no sympathy, not a nice or kind response but a very mean one. Not cool Walgreens! So I went to Jewel Osco and I got it, nicer and cheaper. Maybe I should be going to this one.
Most modern and beautiful Walgreens Ive ever seen! I literally gasped when I walked in.The layout is the same as others; beauty when you first walk in, pharmacy and frozen in the back, but it didnt feel like a Walgreens.The beauty section looked like a better lit Ulta, with new brands Ive never heard of, and gorgeous marketing signs and product placement. Even the murals on the wall were unique and fun.The cashier was super nice and reminded me to use my points - they changed it so you cant save them up anymore, you can only use $5 at a time/per transaction and they expire within a year.I only ran in here on lunch because they were the only store to have a certain moisturizer in stock, and I was really upset I couldnt spend more time. Ill be back!Why is this fancy Walgreens out here tucked away instead of next door to my house?!
Horrible service. Jazmin was rude. Photo department was SLOW and provides inaccurate completion times . Don’t waste your time with this location.
Was having issues confirming an old zip code that I was living at years ago when my grandparents were still alive. I mentioned that my grandfather died and I would need to change the info and the cashier rolled her eyes....
Under-staffed, so plan to be there a lot longer than you expected.
Walgreens is doing a good job on being covid safe. All of their employees have masks. There are social distancing stickers on the floor. The aisles are one way only. Everything was clean. And they had what I needed. Happy day.
The pharmacy doesn’t carry anything other than some off brand pain killers and Xanax types of drugs. They don’t actually carry medicine people need that isn’t in that drug class. I don’t know who’s doing the ordering but they really need to step it up. Do yourself a favor and go to a different pharmacy. I give this pharmacy and the lead pharmacist here 2 big thumbs down. People need other meds besides Xanax, klonopin or opiates. So I’ve far spent more time dealing with this issue than time spent at the actual doctor.
Second COVID-19 Vaccine NEVER SCHEDULED from Walgreens in Hoffman Estates even though it said you would get a second appointment when you received your first on the WALGREENS COVID 19 WEBSITE.. I tried 50 times a day to get the second shot from WALGREENS for WEEKS. Went back to the store and the Pharmacy and begged them to help. THEY DID NOT CARE. THEY ARE RUDE! I never got an appointment when my second shot was due. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM FOR WHAT THEY DID TO ME.
Employees were extremely rude to me, in my years of working in retail at Woodfield Mall, if I spoke to a customer the way I was spoken to by my cashier and the other employee working tonight I would lose my job. If this is this store’s standard for customer service I do not feel comfortable returning.

This walgreens is consistently horrible. Employees are slow, careless, and rude.I asked a question to four employees. All four looked up at me when I asked, and then completely ignored me.
These guys had remodeled our bathrooms to perfection. They listened to what we wanted and gave us several options of price estimates. We are very pleased not only with the results, but the entire process from design to completion. We will definitely be working with these home remodeling contractors for our next project.
The store is open till 12am and have all collection of medicine. I found medicine very quickly and staff is too good. We can get medicine, photo, stationary, liquor, laundry, greeting cards, personal care etc.Physician available to guide on some basic medicine in case a suggestion needed.Passport photos also available
I just stopped at this Walgreens to pick up a Fed Ex package and one would think there would not be a sick cashier working the front checkout counter and Fed Ex pick up. He was sniffling so very badly. He had no mask and no gloves. Needless to say, I am a cancer patient and with this Pandemic going on, I was shocked - horrified really. I was wearing a mask and tucked my hand up into my sleeve so I could grab the package without it actually touching me. I got home and threw my clothes in the washing machine. I did call the store and spoke to a store Manager and she apologized, but that’s just not good enough....who knows how many people he touched. It’s a matter of life and death and I feel this store just doesn’t care.
I visited this store on 05/11/2020 trying to load money onto my Paypal account and pick up some Ice cream. Because of the times we are living in I like to turn my cash into wireless money for my own and merchant’s protection as I do most of my purchases online.Every Walgreens store I have visited lately has the same response when I tell them that I want to add funds to my Paypal Account without an actual card.Their response is usually “I don’t think we are able to load your account without an actual PP card but we can try” OR “Let me find a manager who can help you”They are ALWAYS able to figure out how to load the money on my account even if it takes a little longer than it should and always with a smile.(the PP will generate a code when you choose what store you want to load money at which the cashier is then able to scan and then load your cash into your account)The cashier at this particular store immediately said “we can’t do that here, you need an actual card” I then proceeded to explain I’m used to this response and assured her that my request is definitely possible. She then looked to the person next to her (I’m not sure if this was a manager of another cashier) and they both said “other Walgreens stores may be able to do it but we don’t do that here”I went to the next closest Walgreens store and after the initial “I don’t know if we can do that” look, the cashier was able to help me with a smile and a thank you!I personally think that all Walgreens stores could use a training on how to process the different services they provide such as adding money in to a Paypal account without an Actual card, but this store needs training in basic costumer care!

Awful pharmacy. They couldn’t even read my insurance card, so with a car full of sick kids I had to call the customer service number on my card and sit in line to find out the information they need was on the back of the card after they told me it was not a valid card. Then they claimed my account on file was declined which I called and said it had plenty of money. So I handed them the actual card and for some reason now it couldn’t ‘scan’ and there was no way for them to enter the card manually. Took my business elsewhere and my insurance card and debit card worked just fine.
This is the worst pharmacy takes forever and they never answer the phone ever. Then u go there no one is in line and you wait 7 min for the guy to get off the phone. This place is the worst i wish I had a dif walgreens this close. Stay away waste of time or dont try to go before work unless you want to get fired
I normally dont post on places, but this Walgreens is awesome. Great customer service and friendly staff. The best store Ive been to in a while.
Lately, I have been to Walgreens at least 6 times to pick up two prescriptions. However, They either give me half a prescription or they do not have it and I have to keep coming back! They said it would be ready in one hour. I came back 3 hours later and they have to order it. I can understand this happening once in a while, but several times in one week is too much.
This Walgreens is fine. Been coming here for years. Never been treated rudely. Insurance is so complicated now, and yes the waits are getting longer at pharmacies, particularly in a heavily populated area. Get the app, do what you can from home first. The days of dropping off and picking up a script in 5 minutes are over. As far as the store, I see many of the employees who have been there for years, and they are very nice. That says a lot I think.

Terrible Female Pharmacist “K”First time visit, she could have been friendlier, helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, most importantly professional. Not sure if she was new, tired, or jammed with work, but she kept sighing as if I was asking for to much, she made me feel uncomfortable to ask her for advice on medication, instead I was asked to ring up my stuff at the front register.The rest of the staff was friendlier and profesional.

Considering I usually go to Walgreens on Golf Rd. In Hoffman Estates to get my medication filled ( they were out of stock of this medication), it was suggested to try this Walgreens also in Hoffman Estates..I called, a pharmacy tech answered, and I said I needed to know if they have a medication in stock...she asked my name first before checking if they had it in stock..it happens to be for an ADHD med. Controlled medication..Im told her my name, told her the medication, and the tech said she couldnt give me that information over the phone...Im never heard of this..anywhere..Im wouldnt recommend going to this particular Walgreens Pharmacy..Im had to call my regular Walgreens who didnt have this medicine and have them call this Walgreens and ask for me..ended up they had it there, but this isnt a law as far as I know..I understand pharmacies and their current precautions with controlled medications, but I shouldve been in the system as a customer every month thru Walgreens.
Walgreens needs to staff their pharmacies better. The employees are running around like crazy all the time. Also usually a problem with some part of prescription. Again understaffed, nothing against the people that work there.
Worst pharmacy ever!!! The service here is the slowest I have ever experienced!! There is ALWAYS A LINE; whether you are inside or in the drive-thru.Why even bother having 2 drive-thru lanes if you are NEVER staffed to handle it and you can’t multi-task!!How did you ever decide to get rid of the 24 hour pharmacy here also considering this place is always crazy busy.Get some competent people hired!!
Drive-thru pharmacy always takes forever, have learned to go in-store instead. Walgreens in general has upgraded to more of a grocery store feel, offering more products compared to a couple years ago. The cashiers are always friendly and always check for any coupons to save you! Ive been going here for years and only had a less-than-satisfied experience once with the photo department. Other than that, great Walgreens.
The pharmacy technicians doesnt know how to process the insurance and apply the discounts. They just vaccinated me before letting me know about the insurance coverage and the price of the vaccine by mistake. But they made me pay the full price.I had to make 3 trips to get it corrected and experience their rude behavior . They dont really care and make you pay the full price and instruct you to claim from insurance if it covered. So you should go through all the trouble to get your claim.So be vigilant and check with your insurance what drugs are covered before shopping with them. Or try to use your doctors facility to get the appropriate vaccines and avoid them.
They are slow and rude. The pharmacy technician thinks he is a doctor, just because he failed to become a doctor and settle for a technician job doesnt mean he can take his frustrating out on the customers. Stick to being a pharmacist and stop acting like a doctor
I would not give it even 1 star, drove by for some prescription at the window, plus asked for a cast cover and an aspirin since I had a surgery on my food that day and needed it. The girl at the window was so rude, I couldnt believe it. I had to come back in an hour to pick it up. Thats when she said they didnt have cast covers and didnt even include the aspirin in my order .Since I couldnt walk I had to send somebody else later on. Not the service you need especially right after surgery

When a doctors office calls in a prescription for a patient, the pharmacy SHOULD be not only courteous but helpful. Instead of being allowed to call in a prescription for OUR PATIENT, we were told that was a HIPAA violation. Excuse me? Really? What kind of people are being hired? I will NEVER use this pharmacy again and will have our patients avoid it like the plague.
Average Walgreens store on Meacham road in Schaumburg. They carry all of the regular items and have friendly staff. The store is up to date with a modern feeling. Plenty of parking is available for all of your shopping needs. There is a full service pharmacy available.

HORRIBLE. Just moved to the area. Last time here I watched 4 people behind the counter fumble around, lose and not be able to locate prescriptions. Cmon, these arent burgers, its mess. What a disorganized MESS. Today wasnt much better and the person was just rude. I will be changing pharmacies.
