This Store Is Trash. Im A physically disabled person I was denied access by the staff to use mobile carts. All 3 were available. what kind of place is this? I bought a deli meal sweet and sour pork it wasnt sweet or sour it was just stale. Ill be sure to shop at t Walmart & valli from now on. The cart thing is ridiculous it should be open to all customers who need it

Stopped at the deli to find a sandwich for my daughter to eat during an important golf competition. She’s a vegetarian and there wasn’t anything pre-made. Nicholas (deli) went out of his way to help me put together a wrap and get put the door and couldn’t have been nicer! Thank you.

Has to be one of the worst Jewel stores I have ever been in... No matter the time of day... There are typically only self checkouts and the express lane available for check out. The lines are always backed up down the shopping aisles... And nobody seems to ever kick it into high gear when it gets busy.... Everyone just drags along. Nobody puts in an effort to open extra lanes... Everytime I have gone here... My blood pressure has gone up. Gonna strat driving an extra 5 mins to the other Jewel on Roselle and Wise. Now that Jewel has it together.

Smaller sized Jewel, very small Osco with small health, beauty and alcohol sections. Well stocked, nice staff. I wont frequent this store, but they did stock a hard to find frozen item I love, so Ill be back at some point.Produce was pretty big, frozen foods and the bakery and deli were good.Odd layout. The alcohol section leads you to a dead end. Almost another dead end between the deli and cashiers, but was able to get by.I didnt care for the parking lot. The aisles were too narrow to be 2-way. The left turn into here off of Roselle confused me. Where the turn lane ends, takes you the wrong way in heading directly into oncoming cars trying to get out. I was supposed to pull up further and turn into the other lane leading to the parking lot, which has a concrete divider between them. Maybe I was just dumb that day.

EXPIRED INFANT FORMULA ON THE SHELF - BE EXTRA CAREFULThough I am a loyal shopper of this store, my trust was totally shattered when I realized that the store sold me expired infant formula for my newborn. I would advise all customers to be extra cautious as there is no accountability. I have spoken to customer service, store director Tom & baby food department manager Faizad. Firstly, it was denied on the face that they sold the expired product, then when I showed the department manager with another sealed box on the shelf with 01MAY21 expiry (today’s date Jul 3rd), they just shrugged off lightly saying - “Expired products don’t kill”. They were just trying to get the receipt (which I had also lost) and refund, which I don’t care about. I can buy another one, what is scary is the lack of accountability all the way to the top management to sweep such an important issue under the rug. I hope they take the feedback positively and improve on their actions in matters of products concerning infants at least.

Mostly good service but bought a couple of items that were questionable. For one, fresh salmon, smell it first! Secondly, Happy Belly Fruits and nuts they were stale. But its location is convenient for us and they are open late. The branch is merchandised well. Customer Service is good to great!

I came on a Sunday evening after 7pm, and as far as being able to cruise the aisles without having to excuse myself to cross someones path every 10 feet, this has been the best time yet Ive chosen to do my shopping. Not busy, still plenty of staff on hand who I saw roaming around making sure things were getting straightened and restocked, and although only a couple of registers were open with an actual cashier, there was virtually no wait when I went to check out.The store was clean, and in spite of dwindling sale items, still had what I needed on the shelves.The general atmosphere also felt a lot less tense than when Id used to go during the week; people were still in chill mode it seemed, and not yet feeling the stress of the impending work week, as those I spoke with were laid back, friendly, and not in a hurry.This is my usual grocery store, however, Ill probably now be going on Sunday evenings, because I liked the ease of this trip a lot better than any other during the week.

The prices have gone up 10-30 percent. Im on a fixed income and I cant afford the price increases.

Best Pharmacy hands-down.The pharmacist, Mike, is incredible.I can always count on his welcoming and friendly, Hello everytime.His servant/leadership mentality really shines through every pharmacy employee. (& fellow pharmacist too- sorry I dont know everyones names!!)Short staffed and busier than ever, Mike stays reposed, handles each task with a sense of urgency while also ensuring he remains accurate and organized. Most importantly, he ensures your questions arent just answered but that you understand. Medications, billing, processes, etc., he does his best to provide you with your options or with a recommendation of who to speak with. (Again all the pharmacy staff I have worked with or spoken to has been just as kind)B. Majority if not all staff are always willing and able to answer a question. You wont have to look far. If they arent busy with someone else or their task, its as if their job is to be available without stalking you around the store. LolIt may seem small but in my opinion a notable experience..A few months ago I was obviously lost in the produce section, thinking Im crazy to not see a box of bundled cilantro... I noticed an employee walking towards me, heading to the employees only door, when I reached out to ask him for his help.He wasnt the assigned produce guy that day but without hesitation, he smiled through his mask, and happily walked over to help. He then noticed it was missing as well..** Typically this is when I get told in a patronizing tone of voice I guess were out of that today ... and if you dare ask them to check in the back they will quickly reply with a not so convincing response of if its not out on the floor we dont have anymore...**He excused himself to the back and It was only a few moments later when came out with a cart of the entire box of the cilantro along with other miscellaneous produces items that were clearly missing from the shelves.We had a short conversation about what I was making for dinner while, again not the employee in charge of the produce section, he restocked the missing items to their shelves. He welcomed me to the area since I recently relocated here and has always had a smile since!

I love their Deli! Their staff is very helpful, friendly, & they are often seen wiping everything down. One of my favorite grocery stores in town.

This Jewel-Osco was very well stocked. The only issue I has was when a cashier would need to call for assistance (and this does happen) they would have to call multiple times before they got the assistance they needed. I truly think this Jewel-Osco need to rethink how supervisors respond to assistance calls for cashiers.

We live in an area where prices are much lower and this grocery is disappointing. But on the positive side, it is clean, and layout of the store is good.

Always thought this jewel was super ghetto ... but it is always well stocked and busy. Looks like they are trying to remodel also which is a plus..

Spacious and decent selection. A bit pricy compared to other places nearby.

The lady at the flower section is very slow paced and unable to multi task . Whenever I go there’s always a line I understand she is the only one there helping everyone in line. But doesn’t seem to care and takes her sweet time with everything, no sense of Urgency and doesn’t acknowledge the others waiting in line.

I usually find whatever it is that Im looking for when I go to this jewel. Whats exceptional is Maureen at self check out. She always has the greatest demeanor, friendly, helpful and patient. Lately things have been so dim with all of the worlds affairs but she shares a ray of positivity and Cheer. She is definitely an asset to the shopping experience. Thank you Maureen J.

What could I say about jewel theyre the number one store

Not sure which jewel this was as I live between two and have been to both in the past several days. It depends on which direction n which I happen to be driving. Both are equally well stocked with pleasant and helpful staff.

The employees at the the front was not helpful at all very poor customer relations but the store and items was picture perfect .

Well-stocked, clean store with a great variety of items.

Not as cheap as Aldis, not as Ritzy as Whole Foods or Marianos but more than fits our needs. Had some nice coupons for nearby restaurants on the back of receipt.

Stopped in to purchase an I Pass transponder. Caleb displayed excellent Customer Service.

Even though there is more selection... not loving the new aisle setup. There is no longer a cut through aisle. The aisles now run the length of the store. No cutting across to another aisle.

They usually do have everything I need.

I always like this Jewel on Roselle Rd. In Hoffman Estate. Its clean and the set up is nice. Now the prices at Jewel-Osco are still pricey. Thats why I normally get my groceries at Tonys or Vallis or even Wal-Mart.

Great Deli staff with a lot of patience for rude customers for sure. Very helpful, wish more people were nice to them. A rude person came in to complain about a very slight mistake and pointed several fingers and they just remained calm the whole time and apologized and corrected it. Despite the rude customer they handed it very very professionally. If there was a tip jar I would have given them one just for that to show them a lot of us appreciate them.Staff there is very nice. Be kind to them please. They do a great job.The manager of the store is a very nice man too. I see him stocking the shelves himself. Helps you with just about anything.

Visited jewel osco to purchase the I pass. My experience was great

Man at guest services was rude and dismissive.

The store had some good sales. It is very well stocked. The employees however hide when they think your going to ask them a question. Everytime one saw me walking towards them they would turn and go the other way. One employee on my way out the door told me to have a good day.

They were out of something that they used to carry with four different supply.The checkout clerk was exceptionally good.

The Employees are very rude they pick at my daughter when she was work there they give her hours they her like made two days out the week the manager is rude as well it was her first time work and she was excited about it but to the point where she just did want work there anymore she would come and tell me she did feel comfortable work there no more.

This is an older, smaller Jewel store - pretty much full product lines but maybe a little less selection than other larger stores in some departments. Conveniently located near lots of other shopping, and traffic signals added in the last couple of years make it easier to get in and out. Narrow aisles, tall shelves, so for me it feels a little cramped.

Best soda pop prices in town. Much more variety than the big boxes. Watch for sale prices in flyers and they usually beat the pants off those guys, if you can stock up. Cant beat the service - always friendly & helpful - very refreshing in todays move em in & out retail environment. We need to keep stores like this alive!

Its pretty much like every other Jewel I have been to. It has a similar variety of products, similar prices, etc. I do most of my grocery shopping at Jewel.

There are a great amount of food options here, including freshly butchered meats, bakery, and assortment of grocery and beverage and spirits. They have a great deal of locally grown and organic produce, and the smell of the rotisserie se tion is to die for! I was bummed that with all this selection in all areas, I did not see any Crunch N Munch, despite the millions of Oreo and pop tart flavors. Regardless, still great quality, service, and fast moving check out with great assistance from the manager. I was very impressed.

ALWAYS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Worst customer service I have ever experience! Came home with week old expired ground turkey and moldy blackberries. Because I didn’t keep my receipt I was offered a gift card because that’s their policy. Maybe your policy should be checking your shelves for rotten food!! Or better yet, making your customer want to come back after a bad experience. Having worked in a grocery store for 10 years I cannot believe the terrible service.

Most likely you will find what you need. They have a good selection of most things but the produce is not very fresh and its limited. The meat is pre packaged but once in a while I snag a good deal on reduced steaks. They carry my preferred drinking water, Absopure Natural spring. Checkout is always quick.

This place is full of covid-19. I just passed by 4 human beings without their masks. And some didnt even wear masks properly. Workers look unhappy and are unpleasant.

Very unhappy employees here, and rude as well to customers. Bad management.

The zip at Jewel is gone. Dreary stores and heavily stocked with yesterdays stuff. Even Targets presentation is better. Its enough to make a shopper want to move to PHX, where the grocery stores are so much better.

I go to that Jewel, because the deli, bakery, and the produce produce department, To me are fresh, well stocked, and the employees throughout the store are kind and willing to help

They have a good variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Never enough checkouts open and often need to bag your own groceries if you need to get going. Nice selection and good bakery.
