The lovely dark haired girl that helped me in the front store with a coupon tonight was so helpful. Thank you. I believe her name was Fredricka
The pharmacist Mike is always on point and always is attentive to my needs. Hes also Gorgeous
Horrible experience every time...today was was last timeLine is way too long for Pharmacy, they have no organized way of running smooth. Not their fault but the parking lot is way too small and people always park in fire zone blocking people
Pharmacist Danny Miller was absolutely wonderful in helping me get my prescription filled! He even contacted my Pulmonary Dr. to change the dosage when the prescribed dose had anExpired date. He also expedited the delivery.
I went in to buy a gift card and becuse of the cashier (Nick) not knowing he had me use the self checkout line and I am now missing $300 dollars. There is a limit on what you can put on a gift card (when going through the self help line) and the cashier was not aware. I asked the manager (Lenin) to give me back my money and he was rude saying they do not have my money. I asked for the manager to give me his name and the cashiers name.....he told me he did not know the cashiers name??????I called CVS corporate and because of their mistake now have to wait ten business days for a refund.I did ask CVS for an apology.....I am not going to wait for this to happen.Poor customer service and I will not ever go to that store again
This is by far the absolute worst CVS Pharmacy on Long Island. Not even up for debate. They never answer their phone. They take 2-3 days to fill a prescription and the line usually is 8-9 deep in the store and the drive-thru usually has 5-6 cars waiting. Will never go to them again. Stay away!
Lydia or whatever that nasty womens name is at night should either retire or have a role where she doesnt interact with people, no need to flame me at 1:30 am how it looks like i quit or got fired because my discount was declined.
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I decided to call this pharmacy today before driving because I am not feeling well and really need the medicine. First time I called, I was on hold for 10:45, someone picked up and slammed the phone down. Second time, I was on hold for about 6-7 minutes, same thing. Third time, no one picked up and I was on old for 17:45. I undergo the pharmacy is that busy and unable to answer or help, say that. It seems they rather their sick customers get in there cars and drive to the store, even when they aren’t physically able.
All I can say is, I forgot my prescription in FL. called Holtsville CVS and the lady said you can pick it up in 30 minutes.Id say that was pretty, pretty good. TY!
Have to agree with all the negative reviews. I dont have experience with the pharmacy thankfully, but I went in to take passport pictures and they totally screwed them up. They have a janky old camera that they use and its so unprofessional, had I known this I would have just done it at home. Save your money. My pictures ended up getting rejected by the passport agency because they were such poor quality and incorrect format. I had to go back and have them redone.
I go here only because they knocked out all other drug stores in my area. Its almost impossible to get the pharmacy on the phone, prescriptions are rarely ready when theyre supposed to be and seem to be very unorganized.
Going there 15 years and the pharmacy has gone downhill ever since. With Rite Aid in Patchogue closer to Greenbelt .Calling is a nightmare with a thirty five minute wait on average. The only reason I go to CVS is because it has a drive up,but honestly waiting a half hour in the drive up isn’t worth. After a half hour, you finally get to the front, the staff have a terrible tone .One older lady knows me for yrs and not even a hello and I am sorry to see her back. Most of the staff don’t understand what you need and it’s because once the staff learns how to do the job, a new staff is there and needs to learn. And they need at least three more people and it’s more then likely because they under pay staff.Time to boycott.
I wish I could give them no stars, are you kidding me, on hold for 35 minutes and no one answers the phone. I will be call cvs corporate after this, the lines are always way too long, inside and at the drive thru. THEY NEED MORE HELP
What good is a 24hr pharmacy when the actual pharmacy closes at 10pm. The site should say 24hr store open! Not listed under pharmacy. What good are you if I need a prescription?! I’m not wasting an emergency room visit for a damn antibiotic.
Felt brushed off when asking questions.
I just went in an was berated by a woman named Barbara for asking for oatmeal lotion. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a retail worker in my life!
If I ask for corporates number, it should be provided to me. But the employees with piss-poor attitudes wont provide it because they know its to complain about them. Professionalism at its finest.
Its consistent with the corporate CVS experience. The aisles are a little tight making social distance difficult but otherwise the safety measures are good. The staff are professional and remember frequent visitors which I appreciate.
Lousy service and waiting on hold for 30 minutes for pharmacy to pick up the phone proves they are not a friendly neighborhood pharmacy. Boy do I miss the old friendly drug store these parasites put out of business.
The pharmacy gave away my medication to someone with the same name. They treated me like a junky and insisted the person who picked it up knew my birthday. They looked at the cameras and described a man in an unknown car. I asked politely if I could see the cameras and an employee rudely said no. They charged my insurance and gave away my prescription. The person who received my medication never was asked for my birthday, my script was charged and given away. The pharmacy claimed no responsibility and treated me like a criminal.
POTHOLESeverywhere... watch your nice carIt’s almost AprilOwners don’t care!!!!!
Omg pharmacy is a nightmareWaiting foreverChaos centralI am patient but this is ridiculous
Not answering phones is the pattern Ive found in CVS pharmacies in Queens & Long Island. I once called CVS pharmacy WHILE standing in front of their counter and watched them ignore the phone as it rang. They werent busy at the time either.
This location is rude and unprofessional. I get text messages saying my scripts were ready only I go and scripts are not ready. They tell me be ready tomorrow. So I go home and call so I can have all information in front of me then call them and they were rude. I explain i need meds and they tell me I have to wait. Then I was saying something else and they hung up on me. Unbelievable.
The Older lady employee with the Glasses is NOT very nice or subtle. My boyfriend and myself went in at 2am to buy some emergency necessities. We went to self service island cause, well, we wanted to SELF SERVE. This old lady stood about 2 feet away from us almost our entire transaction. Then, as we are paying she decides its time to Help us. She shoves her hands (No gloves) into our bag of items and starts ruffling around asking how many items we have....why? She stands right in our space ( Not 6ft apart mind you) to count our items cause she assumed we were stealing and then waits for the reciept to print out, takes it and starts checking off the items in our paper bag AGAIN, and finally she starts asking if we payed for the little paper bag....Yea we payed for your .05 cent bag.... what a way to treat your customers.
During such a crazy time in all of our lives I want to say thank you to the staff in the pharmacy !!!! Thank you for making me feel safe and making my uneasy feelings go away. Janice was such a big big help !!!! I have to say this woman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
Horrible place!!! The stuff working at the pharmacy is unbelievable ridiculous. That lady I didn’t see her name tag clearly but she is so arrogant and unprofessional even make fun of the patient. She is so rude and while you talk she will interrupt you like she is the boss. Stay away from this store and save your life!!!
Worst pharmacy I have ever seen. As a healthcare professional I am appalled every time I have went here. Staff are miserable and rude, sigh and blatantly role their eyes when you have a question or need help. I can’t wait for the day another pharmacy come to town. I know not all CVS locations function this poorly. How corporate doesn’t see ALL these negative reviews is beyond me. The older women at the drive up is soooo incredibly rude even when she saw I have two very sick toddlers in the car- I was horrified.
Went to take passport pictures and told the manager that I need soft copies and also hard copies, he said okay at first and then denied later on . He was misbehaving and showed a bad attitude for no reason.
Amidst all the 1 star reviews in the last 2 to 3 months, I have to write this good review and would say five stars if it weren’t for the lack of accuracy within the CVS medicine database.I would definitely give five stars to Angie at the pharmacy because not only was she patient, it looked as though she was ending her shift and I was lucky enough to catch her.She was able to provide a partial of my prescription although I was informed on multiple calls I placed earlier in the week that the medicine was in stock and to call the morning of to confirm.Ever since the other local pharmacy in town closed, this CVS has taken on way more customers in traffic then its capacity can manage today. At a time where most high traffic CVS Pharmacy locations would just say “not our problem” and to tell me to go figure it out on my own, Angie has given me hope that people still want to help people when it comes to important things like a healthy life.I was booked to travel for work the next day and had meetings all morning so you can understand my frustration even though I proactively confirmed. Coming back later wasn’t an alternative.I would give Angie six stars if I could leave that here on this review. BTW, she is the head pharmacist and has this job for the right reason. Thanks Angie!!
Dina is the WORST customer service employee I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Absolute garbage. Came in was told 10-15 mins wait. Then they tried to charge me 40$ because they apparently didn’t have my insurance on file. So I wait 10 more minutes for someone to look at my ID card 6 times and waste another 5 mins of my life. Then he promptly tells me “okay it’s just going to be 5 more minutes” 25 minutes later and my meds are “still processing.” If you want to lose an hour of your life for two prescriptions I’d highly recommend.
It has the worst manager I have ever seen. Shelfs are always empty. you may not even find a baby food. There are 2 big holes in the parking lot and the manager does nothing about it
This CVS is a mixed bag, The front end is normally well stocked tagged however the pharmacy is the worst one I have ever been to. its like they enjoy doing there jobs wrong.. I will shop at this location it is open 24 hours. however, everyone should go elsewhere to fill persecutions
Great customer service help!!!
I have been going to this pharmacy for as long as I can remember, I’ve lived in Holbrook my whole life!! Every single time I have gone there or my husband has gone to pick up a prescription there is always an issue with something!!!! Today I am sick with a fever for days now and my husband went to pick up my medicine, shocking they didn’t have what I was prescribed and the woman refused to talk to me on my husband cell phone and made me call the store, and again SURPRISE SURPRISE nobody answered the phone knowing I was calling them!!! Honestly, they have some of the dumbest, uneducated in pharmacy matters, people working back there!!!! If we could use some where other than CVS I would, but due to our current insurance plan through work we cannot!!!! CVS get your act together!!!!! Beyond livid, angry and annoyed right now!!!!!!
I dont know....Ive never really had a problem with this CVS. Most of the employees are very friendly and Ive never had an issue with the pharmacy. As a matter of fact, I recently had a major issue with a prescription that was the fault of the doctors office and CVS pharmacy stayed on top of it for me. Sometimes there are carts in the aisles that can become a little cumbersome, but when youre open 24 hours a day I suppose this is going to happen.
I got to the pharmacy counter at 6:03 rushing from work; they were helping a customer. There were at least three girls working and two pharmacists visibly filling bottles. The girl helping the customer was talking to another worker just standing next to her and looked around the customer to me and said, “We’re closed.” I looked at my phone and saw that it was 6:03 realizing they close at 6 and responded, “Please, I have no more pills.” Mind you it’s a daily anxiety medication that I have to take every night. The girl responded, “We’re closed. Find a 24 hour location.” None the less I left in tears. I could not believe how rude she was, and all four of the other women working just stared and watched her and I, and did/said nothing. 3 minutes. It would’ve taken a minute tops to help me. So much for kindness at the holidays, or just in general. Won’t be using them anymore.
The pharmacy opens at 9:30am while the rest of store opens earlier.I feel the isles are a fire hazard cause they are very narrow just about can pass another in same isle plus the isles are extra long due to items added on at the ends.I prefer CVS in Smithtown a larger store the isles are wider and the lighting is much better. Not a mass of people trying to pass each other in the isles. The workers are more friendly and Ive met other people from Holbrook who stopped going to that CVS and go to Smithtown CVS.
Someone who writes about their pennies being taken is pathetic. The young man made a mistake and corrected it. This person I speak of looks for problems
There is no worse cvs than this one !!!! They were rude and messed up my prescription where now I cant even get my medication!!!!
Please find another pharmacy this place is extremely disorganized and unprofessional . There is ALWAYS An issue with filling medications. Use to be a customer for 5 plus years and then started having issues with refills. It is hard enough being on concern medications and the embarrassment to have it filled. Now they have bizarre and discriminatory rules against patients prescribed controlled substances. There is always at least a 30-45 minute wait.Use Walmart or Walgreens you will be much happier!!Take my advice!
The pharmacy NEVER answers the phone, I called the front store, they pick up immediately. They’re like oh yeah pharmacy is really busy try calling in 45 minutes.I worked in the pharmacy for cvs for 5 years and we never let the phone ring more than 1-2 rings no matter how busy we were.
By far the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. Claim to never have received prescriptions so you call the doctor office maybe 3-4 times to have them resend the script again. After 3-4 hours go back to pick up medication they still claim they never received the prescription to then be sent to the other counter to have the person say yes we received the prescription we’ll have it ready for you in an hour. So if you had the prescription for the 3-4 hours that I spent calling the doctors office asking them to resend the script; to be told that I have to wait now another hour to receive my medication, why should I have to wait and why did I have to waste 3-4 hours making phone calls back and forth when in fact you had the script the whole time? People please find another pharmacy that’s what I’m going to do. This is not the first time this happened to me with this CVS. It also happened not only with my prescription from not only one doctor but several. When you now do that with my children medications, now that’s the end of it. Not sorry at all.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Because its the only one in town is probably the only reason people patronize it. I have started driving further to get better service. The lines are always long, they do not answer the phones, they never follow up with the prescribers if there is an issue. Even when you get the same rx every month for over a year they have a problem stocking EVERY single month. 75% of the staff has a very rude attitude and anytime it seems they hire someone who is competent and caring they leave. The best thing for holbrook would be opening another pharmacy in town or someone coming in and showing this location how to operate.
Definitely the worst and slowest pharmacy in the world.. it sucks that I could only leave one complaint. I called the night before my prescription was due to make sure it would be ready the next day and they said it would. When I showed up and waited on the slowest drive thruline in the world for 40 minutes they told me it wouldn’t be ready until a half hour and then three minutes later I got a text message when I was already on my way back to work that it was ready. Seriously has to be the worst pharmacy in the whole world
WORST CVS pharmacy people - they actively try to ignore you when you are waiting. Ask them to look up one of you prescriptions and all you get is attitude. CVS do you even care anymore?
This location needs to close or get better management. Always a long wait for prescriptions and they take forever to answer the phone. Their prices on over the counter medicines are way overpriced and redicoulous. Better going to Wal-Mart for those items, youll save a lot of money. And the parking lot is a complete dangerous mess.
Very professional. Never had any problems in all 10 years we have been with them.
Horrible pharmacy. Theyre nice enough people, but I dont know what theyre thinking when theyre filling prescriptions. If your doctor calls in your prescription for you, not only do they not call you when its ready (though, they used to,) but if they cant make out or dont understand the prescription, they wont even call the doctor or the patient about, essentially deciding to just ignore it, with the patient none the wiser.
Oh my god. I went in there at 6 in the morning looking to buy matte lipstick and it wasnt even a minute after I stepped foot into the store that the shift manager Lydia followed me around and asked me persistently if she could help. She wasnt being friendly about it, and was rather aggressive. I couldnt even browse the make up section without her guiding me out and I left there empty handed. Thanks for the five star (not.) customer service. What a terrible and awkward experience.
Great people. Im treated like family. I couldnt ask for more. Thank you Ray
While certainly a huge, full service pharmacy/convenience store, medication prices are at the peak of the national average. Go local.
I used to attend CVS in Farmingdale before I moved and it was wonderful. This place...oh my god. You can never get through on the phone, they text when your medicine is ready and when you go there they make you wait 15 minutes. My insurance changed and I had to show my new insurance card 5 times because they were changing it in the system and my medicine was being run without insurance. My new job uses express scripts home delivery and they are much better. My medicine is actually cheaper now than cvs. If I need emergency medication I will be using Holbrook Pharmacy and supporting small business. I’m not one to complain but this place truly sucks. Screw you cvs.
Very rude ... very unprofessional .. if you don’t like the job your working at look for another one !!! Bad customer service the lady working the night shift Lydia has some attitude problems1 didn’t greet me like any other sales person does ... even though I did greet her !2 gave me the nastiest attitude the entire time !!!3 very unpatient .. kept nodding her head like she got something wrong with her neck cause I was looking for literally 9 cents 😂😂😂Either she was mad tired !! Or she just racist 🙃🤪...
Good selection in main store, but pharmacy is just a horror show. Most of staff is rude, they dont know their own procedures. The wait is ridiculous. They say they will contact doctors but dont or they out right refuse to contact them at all. Really just a mismanaged, unorganized situation.
Agree with all the neg. reviews, went to rite aid down the street.
I hope to never set foot in this horrible place again. Ive always had to fight my way through the tiny parking area. Ive been thru the drive-thru several times and theyve never had my script ready. Several times Ive come from the oral surgeon to pick up my meds and this place takes nearly an hour to fill my script. With all those people in the pharmacy I see nothing but chaos as I stand in line, in pain and bleeding - I just want my pills so I can I can go home and sleep. But, rather Im in this CVS waiting for a script which was called in nearly an hour ago. They refuse to leave phone messages for me when my script is ready and they charge nearly double of anywhere else. Please close this drugstore. We could use a good deli in this location.
Refused to give me my money from money gram because I miss spelled my last name. Spoke with money gram and they said that is not a problem we can send the money. The manager was very rude and did not want to talk to money gram on the phone or call them. And said yes I can refund your money but I just dont want to do it he said it was illegal. Im sorry but theres nothing illegal about miss spelling your last name. The girl that was working with him was also rude and no help. Money gram told me to go back today and try to speak to the head manager of I get the same problem I will report them. Terrible I felt humiliated.
3 employees were standing behind registers. Only 1 were ringing up customers. Took absurd amount of time to get checked out as there was a long line and none of the employees seemed capable of doing anything to alleviate the long line of customers.
It is open 24 hours and overnight is convenient to shop
I have to say Walgreens is better than this pharmacy. I had many bad experience with this pharmacy. When the doctor call in a prescription the automated system text me and say my prescription is ready and its not true. When my daughter need her ear drops and they dont have it they dont call and let you know it was out of stock. It will be nice if they call. First I have to say the technicians need to be friendly, also need to have a lot of patience because they dont have any. They wait through the drive thru is terrible because when you go and wait inside to pick up your prescription they help the drive thru first. YOU NEED MORE PHARMACY TECHINICIANS WHO WANT TO WORK AND HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE AND UNDERSTAND THE PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW THROUGH. THE MANGAER NEED TO APPLY MORE TRAINING TO ALL THE TECHICIANS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH A PHARMACY. I will be moving out of this area and will sure be going to WALGREENS.
VIvian has the worst customer service, very sarcastic asked me to show her where i purchased a card so i did so, after her rudley saying it wasnt the right price she ran back to her register making fun of someone that walks fast screaming down the aisle saying since you like walking fast lets run back mind you im pregnant. Wasnt welcoming to her register talking about a previous customer with the other employee. Shaming the cvs in holbrook.
We desperately need another pharmacy in this town. Fed up with long lines and long wait at the pharmacy every time
I have been going to CVS in Holbrook since youre opening day I love it and I have never had a problem they are very courteous and helpful and there is always somebody at a register and if they need help they call help I have even checked out my items in photo! 5*****
It’s ok people that work there don’t seem to friendly!
Awful place. It’s a zoo and the staff in the pharmacy are rude
Where has customer service gone? Dropped off a prescription on a Friday and was told that it would be filled on Saturday for insurance reasons. Returned on Monday on lunch break from work and after quite the long wait due to insufficient staff, (as was confirmed so colorfully by a worker behind the counter) and was advised by the pick-up counter that they didnt have the medication and to see the drop-off counter. After waiting once again, and after they searched through a plastic bin filled with prescriptions, alas they had it but never filled it. Had to leave to return to work, received no apology for the mix-up. Returned after work at which point two workers were overheard speaking about how dirty the store was. Luckily at least received the script this time. This will be the last time I visit this pharmacy.
Typical CVS. Extra friendly employees. Good selection of all kinds of items.
The manager is so inappropriate yelling at customers. Cash registers are always broken and its soooooooooo slowwwwww
Been goin here for years. Never had a problem and theyve always been helpful with any of my needs
Awsome place
Employees are nasty and place is always filthy.
On point and very organized.
I will never go there again always underfill get my scripts.
Pharmacy is ok, but the Manager (Mark) needs to find a job that does not involve customer service. Go away Mark you are hurting CVSs business. Plus, the parking lot is horrible, tight, small and dangerous.
Will never use again. They are RUDE. The process doesnt have to be as hard as it is while using this pharmacy.
Google needs to get this listing right, this is not a 24 hour pharmacy!!!! The pharmacy is only open till 6:00pm! The rest of the time its a store not a pharmacy!!!!!
Didnt have what I wanted and they said they would have it
Worst pharmacy ever. Rude people.
The wait at the pharmacy was at least 20 minutes, one woman at the counter. It was every busy
Poor customer service . Will not return..
Just was in here and the people at night are not nice from the manager that wears too much foundation for his color to the cashiers they are just mean!
Horrible pharmacy, been back and forth 5 times for same medicine that still hasnt been filled, even after talking to them on phone before showing up
Customer service not good..pharmacy employees arent kind, usually long line on the registers, manager help them but usually late.
Parking lot is way to small
Friendly staff.
Convenient
I like! The place and the employees are nice, there is always what I need
I always find what I need.
