Lex Construction was contracted by Home Depot to install a new storm door we purchased. However, our house has an oddly shaped front door entrance, and at first, it didnt look like installation would be possible. We believe the persons name that came to our house was Mike (could be wrong about that - sorry). He assessed and explained the situation to us, and told us while it would be complicated, he could modify the door entrance to install the storm door. He did an absolutely wonderful job, and we were very impressed with the final result. We are very grateful we got connected with Lex Construction. Thank you!

I purchased a storm door trough Home Depot and Lex Construction is the company they picked to do the installation. Like if they were a doctors office, they gave me an appointment for a month after they called me, just to take the measurements, not for the installation. The lady at the phone told me it wasnt necessary for me to be there, but since I work from home its not a problem for me to be there. When the guy who takes the measurement came, he knock in our door once, and left without trying to attempt to call me again, or wait a little longer for someone to open the door. Terrible servicie. The only solution they provided me was to make another appointment and wait another month just to have the same guy coming to take the measurements lol. Thanks but not thanks, I went to Home Depot and I asked someone at the parking lot to help me out. We installed the storm door in two hours, no problems, and probably for half of the price. I will never use this company for anything.

Ordered 6 doors through Home Depot, both exterior and interior doors. Tim was the guy doing the work and he was awesome. Tim was professional, courteous, neat and clean, and also just a nice guy to talk with.The arrangement of the install day was smooth, he showed up on time, did everything he said he would, solved problems (I live in a house built a long time ago so not everything was even) and explained what was happening during the process.Thank you Tim and company for a great experience. No hesitations to recommend.

We had a front entryway door and storm door installed today. Kevin was very knowledgeable and his partner was professional. We were so happy that Kevin was able to remove and replace the original moulding around the door. It really helped to keep the character of my 90 year old home! He was also able to put in an oversized, special order storm door, being extremely careful to make it fit perfectly under our arched portico. I cannot thank Kevin and his partner enough for their hard work and true professionalism.

I had my kitchen done my Lex in the beginning of the summer. From start to finish the process went great. My project manager Paul was so helpful, and answered all of my questions and the installers were great as well. I will be recommending them to anyone who needs a kitchen remodeled !!

I contracted this company through Home Depot services I just want to say it was an awful experience it was just sliding doors and they’re already falling off and it was two weeks ago that the doors were installed. the doors are horribly made there’ are scratches and marks all over them which in fact we were told about when Lex construction came to install them! We just didn’t want to wait weeks and weeks That was not Lex construction’s fault. Home Depot is a horrible company they’re just trying to make money on people that they contract at a construction company make you wait horrible quality horrible service!! The only thing I can say positively about Lex construction is that they gave a very nice guy and a girl that was a project manager very polite and kind. The poor guy was all by himself putting up doors alone which in fact he could’ve used another person to help him! They totally take it advantage of of that employee! He did his best with what he had with the situation!!

My mother had two sliders installed by Lex Millwork thru Home Depot.After the installation it was determined that there was additional caulking needed underneath the doors and a drip moulding above the doors.The gentleman Walter was very nice and promised that someone would be sent to make the repairs.After months of waiting I called and was told that I would be contacted. Never happened. I called again and was told that Walter will not be back till Monday.Still waiting.

They installed a sliding patio door today with amazing skill and attention to detail. Really remarkable work, framed the new door inside and out. Swept their workspace clean. Stacked the old door in readiness for a possible pickup my Habitat for Humanity. Highest rating for their work.

Home depot hired this company to install a front door in my home. This i can honestly say has been the worst customer service experience i have ever encountered. Its been 3 months and i have yet to even see the door that Ive purchased. Their have been numerous attempts (initiated by myself) to schedule an installation which are consistently followed by delays/cancellations. They make no attempts to proactively reschedule and they infrequently followup on their promises to call back. Good luck if you decide to hire this company or if your job is outsourced to them by home depot.

If I could give this company negative 5 stars I would! I ordered doors and the installation through Home Depot for barn doors. It took William THREE TIMES to get the proper measurement for the door either because he forgot to write which number corresponded with height/width OR he plain old didnt measure the space properly and got the wrong numbers (I measured it myself and got completely different numbers, but because the work needs to be insured they had to have the install company report the numbers for liability). TODAY William comes back for the installation of my barn doors, looks at the pieces like hes never seen something like them before, and tells me HE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THE DOORs!! He then proceeds to ask me questions like I didnt hire a professional to do the job! I had to tell him to leave and not do the project because I couldnt have a person who doesnt know what theyre doing drill into my walls like that. Lex can hardly be considered a professional contracting company when theyre sending people like this out. DO NOT EMPLOY THEM!

After waiting over a month for them to schedule our installation, the door they brought was smaller than the house opening and they had to fill it with a different color material, which we obviously refused. After that we never heard back from them and had to cancel the order.

We have been wasting two months to have doors installed after having purchased them from Home Depot. Keep on getting the run around. We set up different dates and they never show up. Lex Construction is unreliable and should not be trusted.

I had LEX Construction install a completely new bathroom. I must say, they exceeded my expectations. Everyone - from Oakar (the planner), to Paul (the project manager), to Hector and Taylor (the installers), to John (the tile installer) were extremely competent - and courteous. They were the most professional team Ive ever hired. I would recommend them highly!!!

Ive been in the customer service, relationship management field for 25+ years, so I believe Im qualified to call out an exceptional experience with Lex Construction and with their project manager Jessica - an exceptional employee. You will hit the jackpot if Jessica is assigned to manage your project. Shes professional, knows her stuff, and is personable. You couldnt ask for more. The work performed was quality. All the workmen were professional, experience, presentable, and spoke English. Most importantly, their work is guaranteed. I had a minor problem 3 months after the fact, Jessica came to evaluate, scheduled the workers, and the problem was fixed. NO HASSLES!!!!! Couldnt ask for more.

Terrible customer service experience. I ordered interior doors through Home Depot. Appointment was made through Lex for someone to come measure the site. No one showed up. Got a call an hour after the promised window ended that the driver couldnt find parking. A week and 8+ unreturned phone calls later, a manager tells me were at a stalemate unless I pay for private parking, and that otherwise they cant help me. Guess Im not getting the doors I ordered.If you do business in New York City, you should have plans in place in case parking is not ideal. Telling the customer to look elsewhere is an unfortunate business practice.

Lex Construction management not honest. Their crew made three measurement errors on closet doors. Terrible customer service. Not trustworthy. A one month job took half a year, and then the order was abruptly canceled by Home Depot without customer consent.

Well not sure where to begin bought basically new kitchen from home depot they assigned me with lex Construction. And from start to finish could not be more pleased. it started out with sam coming out for the 1st mesure job back again for the second one before the install and then lead project manager PAUL was absolutely fantastic very helpful and knowledgeable went over everything in full very accommodating then the instalars hector and taylor so very professional would recommend this company and crew every time. By the the way the owner come by and was an absolute gentleman great company would recommend doing business with them any time . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LEX CONSTRUCTION JOB WELL DONE

Home Depot hired this company for me when I ordered cabinets through them. Sadly, youre stuck w this company. No matter how badly they perform, Home Depot cant help either, Lots a great reviews about Jessica and her team, maybe it would have been better w her and her guys. I had Sandra! Wow! Lie after lie! The time sheets where men were to sign in and out were BS! She had her guys starting at 7am, no one ever started until after 7:30. Each worker, including Sandra would sit in their own car outside until at least 7:25. Then theres 15 minutes of them talking before any work begins. Then Sandra would mark them later than they really worked! This paper didnt even have correct employee names on it! I had different workers everyday, yet the same 2 names remained on that paper. That sign in sheet was filled out once a week, not everyday like they should be. Then you take a full day off of work for these people and they leave at 11:30! My molding was sitting here, why not put it up? The workers clearly stated they were going home on Friday at 11:22! The sign in sheet has them leaving later. When the guys left at 11:20am, I called Sandra and asked if the plumber could come now instead of 4pm since her guys left and the day was wasted. Sandra answered after a few minutes and said no, tight schedule, they will come at 4pm. 30 minutes later, the plumber called and asked if he could come earlier because he had no work. He told me Sandra never called him. Why wouldnt Sandra just make that call? Lied about a filler, said designer didnt include one, Sandra said she would do ME a FAVOR and not charge me and she would buy me a filler. When a worker laughed and said oh Sandra wont have to buy it, Im sure we could find a piece of wood here, I got suspicious. I checked the paperwork, the filler was on every page,, 5 pages said filler next to refrigerator. I had paid for it already and it was in my house. Sandra is an architect, I cant believe that she cant read a paper that says filler. Her team made a mistake, instead of saying sorry, Ill fix it, she created a whole BS story about my refrigerator drawer and made like she was doing me a favor. Her guys laughing gave that lie away immediately which is why I checked the paperwork. Funny, my fridge draw worked properly as soon as the filler was added. Sandra lied about fixing damage to my house that her workers caused. Every time I showed her something that her workers damaged, she would get annoyed at me! Why shouldnt I say something? Youre damaging my property. When the job came to an end, Sandra had my floor fixed that her guys damaged, with pieces that I provided and told me that made up for all the damage to my siding that is 6 weeks old and everything else! Really? Then they threw out my custom ordered molding to my brand new floor. Sandra said, yeah, thats normal to through out the floor molding really?!. We were not changing the floor, just swapping out cabinets! Who throws out a persons pre ordered special floor molding when replacing cabinets? Why not just say sorry, we will re order it for you. Sandra told me my cabinet doors that have a shelf arent meant to touch in the center when the doors are closed. Really?! Have you ever seen cabinet doors that dont meet in the center when they are closed? Even the cabinets on display in Home Depot are closed! Yes, I paid 21k for new cabinets but everyone should see my cereal boxes. Sandra just didnt want to admit that there was another mistake. When she left, a kind worker adjusted the doors. When I told him what Sandra had said, that the doors shouldnt meet in the center, he looked at me like I was nuts! The stress from this company is not worth their service. I called management at Lex Construction 2xs, they never called back, they couldnt care any less. Home Depot said they have no control over Lex Construction but yet Home Depot hired them. Go elsewhere and if you order any home improvements from Home Depot, know that you are getting these people! A simple, Im sorry, goes a long way Lex!
