BUYER BEWARE: Although Al is a polite person, whether he was not skilled enough to handle this job properly, or simply not attentive, or lazy, or rushed with other projects, or a combination of these things ... the job was a failure, and I was left to deal with the consequences of a job poorly done from beginning to end (a ridiculously long 5+ weeks).I brought my truck to Al to install new door/dash speakers, a box with subs, and amps that I had purchased. The previous owner left the vehicle in a state that need attention to the audio. He assured me this was a job he was very familiar with, and that he had worked with the make and model before with very satisfied customers. Being his reviews (though few) seemed relatively positive, and his quote was very fair, I took a chance and gave him the work. This turned out to be a mistake.Like I said, I wanted a full speaker swap, sub install, and additionally I asked him to attend to (clean up as best he could) a sticky oil-based sound dampening substance that a previous owner had put all over the interior of the doors/panels, and was now dripping messily on hot days. When I left the truck in his care these were the ONLY issues to resolve.Over the span of 5+ weeks (an amount of time that makes NO SENSE for standard audio installation) he explained that Id need more new hardware, all new wiring, and more. At this point I should have stopped and gotten a second opinion elsewhere. To be honest I should have stopped the project many times, because of many red flags along the way and his constant excuses for incomplete work. For that ignorance I blame myself. Nevertheless, even more hardware was purchased and installed, and after many excuses that he wanted the job done perfect, I finally got the truck back with countless problems.The sticky black substance I asked him to clean up was everywhere (all over my interior surfaces, exterior paint, glass, bed cover, everywhere... much worse than before), my backup camera didnt work, both of my accessory video screens didnt work, my steering wheel controls didnt work (yes, I bought the proper harness, he did not install correctly), my engine tuner had been disabled and wouldnt power on, the bass remote to the sub amp wasnt functioning, the was a .5 mistake in space for my windows to go down all the way safely, door speakers were installed without all screws, the factory doorsill lights wouldnt power on, bluetooth/carplay wouldnt enable, interior plastics were loose or broken in several places from rough handling, he scratched my exterior paint, he also scratched my bumper and taillight (from moving the truck around carelessly, he attempted to touch up), he did not mount the two amps (they were simply sliding around), the interior was covered in wire clippings from his work done without any clean up/vacuuming, there were now bugs all over the truck, and my gas light was on empty.I addressed all these things with him, and asked for half my labor cost refunded. He would not acknowledge the issues were his fault, made more excuses, and would not agree to any compromise in cost after this failure. Mind you, Im not even including the hardship of not having a primary vehicle for way over a month... I took it to another professional shop where in 72hrs the entire job was done correctly, everything resolved, and I had to pay even more money obviously.Summary: He did not come close to performing the full job quoted professionally or adequately. His business ethics may be questionable, and he handled my vehicle in a way that left it in a worse state than when it was dropped off. He had no explanation for why so many issues were unresolved when the vehicle was in his possession for an extreme length of time, and damaged it while he did. I would not recommend you come here unless you want to pay more later to undo/fix what he cannot.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. His custom jobs are amazing. Everything is made to order and orginal. Custom speaker boxes. Interiors. He does convertible fabric tops too. If you like to be unique and have everything Tailored. This is the place to go. He has books and books of his works over the years

I know al Davis, personally from the early 90s from New York, when he installed alarms on all my vehicles and even when he, worked on very high end vehicles, so I find it very hard to believe that when I see these photos of jacked up work. I really cant believe that AL would do this work even by mistake!!!!

After coming to get my back up camera installed the owner and Tech all in one taught me some tech stuff i never knew i was asking questions and he never once Shrugged me off Al explained what he was doing and how he was going to do it which I was very pleased. Al is very knowledgeable and kind and very respectful Man I know he is honest and if you come here to get anything done you will be satisfied when you leave

If I could give a zero i would, had my Excursion for months, left with unfinished work, interior work needs help, broke my master controls on both driver and passenger plus list my headlights and never reimbursed. DO YOUR RESEARCH, Stay away..

He was very professional knowledgeable I had my stereo speakers put in and a amplifier he install back camera he did a very good job at a very reasonable price I would suggested this guy can do it all

Dont go to this guy .....From 12pm to 8pm this is what he got done...... Really and the price is crazy high....

Not going back. Had my vehicle tinted by Mr. Al. Three days later, I went to a new spot to have them removed and retinted. I did not care about the warranty.

Al is a excellent technician. From NYC to FL, I dont care what anyone says. I really like how neat he works but most impressive is that he really knows his stuff I mean really knows his stuff, all the way down to the specs. Most of all his reasonable price wise. I will continue to recommend him to anybody I know that needs work on their cars or jet skies etc.

Went to this guy to have a additional under the tailgate light are installed for safety.I purchased a state of the art unit,with illumination while driving,turn signals, 4 ways, reverse and brake lights. After 3 times he had the Knights mixed up. Turn signals opposite vehicle ones, no tail when running. Today he says he did his job right and refused to make the necessary corrections thus putting my life and others due his shabby work. DO NOT GET ANYTHING DONE AT THIS PLACE

Found a great place to tint my car windows. Not only was it less expensive than all the other places I called, but AL the owner did a terrific job. Im coming back to install hd headlights on my Benz. Thanks you guys are the best!

This business has a set of rims and tires right outside the door, you walk in and there are rims and tires, but the owner/cashier/person that works there seemed baffled when I asked him about a specific tire size. It just so happens that the very next door business is the tire business and I walked into the wrong office. His words “didn’t it seem strange to you? This is a stereo shop” sarcastically I might add, to which I replied: no since the first thing you see when walking in is tires.Note: next door Tire place was good.My phone restrictions don’t allow access from app to camera, but if you are googling it (and you are) you can see what I mean about easy to mistake these two businesses.Should I ever need a stereo system, I know what shop not to go to.

Worst experience I have ever had with my car. He did a terrible job on tinting my car and when I went back about it, he had a nasty attitude. Eventually we agreed for him to redo the job...wish I hadnt made another deal with him...my car seats got damaged, tint from car windows were not properly removed and from 10am to 6:20pm my cars tint was not redone. Poor service and he does not take responsibility for his action.

Today I got my work my JVC double and clarion eq installed by Al. His prices you can not beat, very honest and he gives you the best advice. Hes a one man show. He cleaned up my subwoofer wires and also where my radio was. I recommend this audio place to anybody. He does the job clean and rite

Very clean very precise, make it look its from factory and btw has an ear for perfection his sounds sound good. Will always recommend him for any type of work. He is the one stop shop for all your pampered car needs.

This guy Al does the worst tints and has the worst customer service. He got highly upset when I pointed out his imperfections. He also forced me to walk to an ATM because his business doesn’t except cards. Save yourself the trip and don’t come here.

Al Davis nothing good to say about his work and his honesty. Lies about what he selling and lies about his timing and his work nowhere near detailed or close to professionally being done. His over all character is not even worth the one star i clicked on. Becareful with this guy and dont waste your time getting anywork done by him. Dishonest work practices.

The owner ordered wrong lights for my car. I had to put a deposit of $200 and when he installed it, it was the wrong one. The guy didnt want to give me the money back even though he ordered the wrong one. He left me outside with my bumper and lights on the floor and closed his store. Im coming back with the police for my money. Never again!

Very honest and does perfect work and a good price.

Literally terrible. Overpriced and terrible wiring. I brought my car there over a year ago and they not only drilled right throgh my cup holders when installing my amps but also cut so many corners it’s not even funny. They use cheap ass wires to put your system together and I just found out that the two 12” pioneer subs I got we’re only half wired in so they run on 50%. Please never go here unless you want to get over charged for a really shi**y half a** job.
