I feel bad writing a negative review because the piercer was super nice and personable, but i don’t want anyone to have a similar experience:i went in for a bridge piercing, he was hesitant to do it at first for a couple reasons (bridges are tricky and temperamental) but ultimately we decided to do it. we spent awhile marking up the spot, to be fair i did see the marking before getting it done, however since i’m not a piercer i couldn’t fully imagine how it would look when done based on the marks and the way he described the location he was going to pierce was a bit confusing. even though the marks were straight, the piercing itself ended up pretty crooked which he said we could fix later on, but after looking at more photos of what a bridge is supposed to look like it was clearly pierced too shallow, too high up, crooked, and with a relatively short bar that also seems a little thick for my anatomy.you could make the argument that this is how it had to be done to suit my anatomy, but i know that isn’t the case. i ended up taking it out later that night to minimize scarring. i’m sure they would be competent on simpler more common piercings such as a nostril or ear, they seemed to be knowledgeable, but if i were getting a surface piercing i would advise going somewhere else.

I have been going to this only tattoo parlor for the past decade. Jaimie always does amazing work and makes the customer feel more than welcomed. He is extremely knowledgeable, and dedicated to great customer service. I would not go anywhere else for a tattoo. Paper City Tattoo is a establishment that you should check out before considering any other places nearby. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely be back!!

Jamie is very unprofessional, he started a tattoo for me 4 months ago, I’ve gotten tattoos here before with no problems from other artists, but Jamie has been such a pain to work with. He started an eagle that I was at first happy with and we needed to make another session to complete it. I tried countless times to schedule a second session and he will never call back and usually doesn’t answer text messages. Whenever he does he will make a long apology and we set up an appointment and he forgets to show up. This has been such an inconvenience and a huge waste of money and waste of my time.

Stephen, the owner, is so kind. He made me feel so comfortable and was so professional the entire time. If you need any kind of piercing done, i would highly recommend Stephen. Hes a king. Thank you so much for your work!!

I got a small tattoo on my ankle and I love it! The artist (Courtney) worked with me on a design and was so patient even when I changed my plan completely. At the end, I felt a little faint (because I dont do well with needles) and they were so great. They made sure I was okay, gave me orange juice, and were patient while I sat in there for a while. I’ve been to quite a few tattoo shops through the years and feel that this is by far the best one for a couple reasons. The owner is absolutely amazing at what he does. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. They give you honest answers to your questions and not just because they want your business. I have been pierced and tattooed at this particular shop and have never had an issue. I’ve also brought my daughter for multiple piercings and tattoos. Never once has there been an issue or infection from their services. If that wasn’t good enough, their prices are super affordable. They don’t charge astronomical prices for anything. I believe it’s the most affordable shop I’ve been to and with the best quality work! You’d be crazy to go somewhere else!

This was my first time ever going to a shop to get a piercing so you could say I was nervous especially since I was getting three outer conch piercings at the same time. I do not regret coming to Paper City Tattoo as my first time going to a shop because the experience was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. As I walked through the doors my nerves were eating away at me but as I was greeted and introduced to such a friendly and good environment I quickly got more relaxed. The people are incredibly funny and dedicated to their work. The piercer Stephan walked me through the whole process and explained to be what I was getting my self into. He went step by step making sure I was comfortable and knew what he was doing at all times, explaining to me how this would go and how I would feel. Everything was very clean and organized, with amazing prices, and they all knew what to do and how to do it. We went through the process and I came out of the shop extremely satisfied and happy with my piercings. All in all the shop is amazing the people working there are dedicated and educated in their work ready to satisfy the customer at all cost. I got a cartilage piercing here about a month ago and the experience was the best I could have hoped for! The piercer was totally professional, he explained everything he was doing, as he was doing it, which made me feel much more relaxed and safe. Went in to pierce my nipples. the guy who did it was very chatty and comforting it was great. i also got a tattoo right after and it came out wonderful i love it very much and i appreciate the chill atmosphere its very nice and easy going. their place is very sanitary and very clean. the piercer went through each procedure that he was doing and made me feel welcome and secure. very good tattoo/piercing shop. will always go there for both of those.

Went to get my nose pierced, and was immediately greeted upon entrance. Stephen, the piercer, was extremely friendly and quick with the procedure. He is very detail oriented and easy to talk to if you are nervous about getting something done. He walks you through the entire thing so nothing is a shock. I would definitely go back again!

I went with a group of four people to get piercings, and we were all a little bit nervous (some of us were getting cartilage piercings, some of us nose piercings). When we got there, Stephen, the piercer, was very welcoming and explained everything thoroughly. They only use implant grade titanium so the chance of infection is incredibly small, and even my friend, who always has allergic reactions to piercings, did not have a reaction to hers from Paper City. The service was amazing, the process was very easy, and the prices were great. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My husband was recommended to paper city & neither of us could be more disgusted with the outcome. Courtney did 3 arm bands on my husband & they are so bad he has to have another artist fix them completely. The line work is absolutely terrible, the color is splotchy. It looks like someone handed a tattoo gun to someone with zero experience. Not to mention it cost him $200 just for work that needs to be redone. So unsatisfied.

I discovered more information about tattoos and where to have one placed, best size, best color, best style - so much! I had NO IDEA what sort of design to choose. This was on my bucket list so they offered suggestions based on questions they asked about me and how I define myself. This custom gecko, curved and crawling up inside of my ankle is brilliant in color. His body is twisted to contain the first letters of both my sons names - and it is SPECTACULAR! They nailed it and I might just become addicted.

I just cleaned my wifes ink for her after being tattooed by Nick. Not a single drop of ink came off as I dried it. The lines were nice and crisp and clean. The color was set perfectly. Im looking forward to working with him in the future. I myself have been inked by Jamie a few times for very meaningful pieces. He brought every aspect of my ideas to life. This is such a clean environment with great staff that pumps out great work at a very reasonable price.

Paper city tattoo is a great please for piercings and tattoos. I love the atmosphere in the shop and everyone is so warm and welcoming. I went to Stephen back in September of 2017 to get my very first piercing on my nose and I was so nervous but Stephen was so calm and patient and lead me through it step by step and really cares about giving you the right information and the best experience possible. My nose piercing didnt hurt that bad it was like a 5 on the pain scale for me. I have since went back 7 weeks ago and got my eyebrow done which has healed very nicely and again did not hurt a bit was a 1 or 2 on the pain scale for me. I also plan on going back in a few days to Change out my eyebrow piercing to a smaller one and having it anodized to a purple blue color. I also plan on getting my labriet, industrial bar, helix, and possibly my rook done very soon. If you are interested in piercings but are unsure I can reassure you they are not bad at all. I hate needles and pain but Stephen walks you through the whole process and is very good at calming your nerves and it is well worth it when you get to see that new piercing and once you see it you’ll be planning your next piercing and the one after that. They are very addicting once you start getting them. I may even decide to get a tattoo finally and when I do I will be going to paper city for it. Totally would recommend this shop to anyone I meet looking for an awesome atmosphere with great people and a fun time with quality work. It feels like your chilling with your best friends.

Turns out the bar they used was too small and when I called back I dont remember who picked up, but they told me that I would have to pay them to get a new bar when I was their mistake. Finally found my new tattoo shop & artist, cant wait till 21st when tattoo complete, another great thing they dont charge by the hour like most places, they charge by tattoo, Ill have 5 half 6 hrs of tattoo time in 2 sessions and was 400$ gotta leave a tip thats just me. ..
