YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE! Don’t go nowhere else sis! So today I went to 3 black hair stores in Hoover. Two of them had wack supplies. However my first visit here to ACE Beauty Supply I felt like “this is it”. Honey -Ms Kim is going to take care of you. She gave me discounts on coupons. Their selection is uo to date and they got everything. Oh and there wig stock is on point! You gonna LOVE there wigs collections!

Owner is rude. Follows your every move once you enter the store. I purchased 3 clip-in ponytails to which she responded “ALL 3?” As if my money was not good enough. I should’ve went with my conscious and left them to spend my money elsewhere. Needless to say, I would never shop here again.

The reviews on ace beauty are real! My adult daughter and I were on the road and she needed beauty supplies before we made it to our destination. I found this place a hour away. The staff treated us good. Maybe the best help Ive gotten in a while. Im glad we found you

It’s the cleanest store i have ever seen and looks pretty neat. There are so many up to date style of wigs choose from. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs. Very willing to help me. I felt special!!!! I will be back

I will NEVER go back into this store again. They women are extremely rude. I asked to try on a couple of wigs and they rudely suggested that I guy a wig and not to keep trying on wigs and not buy. I was floored because I buy from them all the time. They started talking to each other in their language, undoubtely about me, and I just told them that was okay. I was done shopping. They then tried to get me to pay for a stocking cap but the man who was at the register, I believe hes the owner, said that was okay. Its appalling how they treat us (AAs) knowing that probably 90% of their sales come from us. I have officially banned them and other Asian owned hair stores, as well as nail salons. I am unapologitic about my decision because my dollars are welcomed elsewhere and thats where I will be spending them.

Prices are high. If its time to close they will rush you out...but not a bad store at all

The snubbed owner ask you to put a clean stocking cap on before trying on a wig. She didn’t say why. If it’s for sanitation reasons, that’s all well and good. You also have a minimum of 3 wigs to try on. If you don’t buy one of the wigs, you have to buy the stocking cap. That’s is really tacky. I won’t be going back.

I had a wonderful experience today. Im so glad I ignored the bad reviews and went in for myself. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. And I think the young ladies name was Caroline that helped me. She was so sweet and friendly. She even showed me pictures of other crochet hair which caused me to buy some. I will come again. I came here today and found the staff to be helpul and very friendly!They had the brand I was looking for and took the time to show me the different textures and colors until I found a good match. They also gave me some very helpful hints. I would definitely come back here for my hair needs.

Ace beauty supply was my favorite store to go to up until today.. I went in for a wig but was indecisive for what kind I wanted. The newest sales lady was very helpful when I asked to see different wigs. When I saw another customer walk up I told the sales person that I was still going to look some more so that she could assist the other customer. While still looking and browsing the lady with the glasses (who is usually behind the counter) walks where the wigs are, so I thought maybe she saw me waiting and was trying to help. So the lady with the glasses walks up to me and the wig that I was looking at that was on the counter I guess she thought I was about to get that wig and I told her I hadn’t made a decision yet. She proceeds to put the wig back on the shelf and walks away.. so while still browsing I noticed the lady with the glasses was standing off to the side watching the sales person assist the other customer. So after deciding to go ahead and narrow my decision down, I signaled for the lady assistance.She walks up asking have i made a decision yet and I pointed to the one that I wanted to purchase and she says this is going to be your last one. I instantly felt some type of way & rushed. Long as I’ve been coming here I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and didn’t know how rude the lady was in the glasses that’s always behind the counter. I voiced my concern to the guy that was behind the register and I asked him was there a time limit to look and make a decision on a wig and he advised me that there was no rush and to take my time. I then told him that I felt rushed today and was told that the last wig I asked about was the last one I could look at. He thanked me for letting him know but I want Ace beauty supply to know that they have definitely lost a good customer in me and I won’t be returning. Please pay attention. They are helpful but yet eye your every move making it uncomfortable to even shop and look without feeling rushed. I’ve never been in a store that has made me feel so uncomfortable the way they did me today..

I had a wonderful experience with Ace Beauty Supply! I requested a product that was at another location & they personally delivered the product to the location near me in less than 24 hours! I appreciate the urgency, professionalism and care that I received while shopping here! Hands down the only beauty supply I will shop now!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! If I could give negative stars, I would! Their workers are not friendly or helpful. They dont have signs in their store stating the same thing on their receipts. There are NO RETURNS under any circumstance. Some exchanges are prohibited too... Such as wigs. You only find out that after purchasing. Plus, they give you the wig on the mannequin,instead of giving you a brand new wig. Very shady and underhanded business. Do Not Shop Here!!!

Very clean inside, tons of variety. I mean they have everything and the staff was super friendly and informative.. They didnt make me feel like i needed to hurry up get my stuff n get out. There is an Ace Beauty Supply in alabaster 3 miles from my house but when i go in there i always end up leaving in a paniky, stressed out mess. 😬😰😬😰The staff rushes me?, i feel like they all stopped their lives to wait on me. Theyre just rude. I will say they have a new girl in their wig dept and she was awesome,😇😍 she was friendly and patient she even helped me out with suggestions. Because of her I was truely satisfied when i left there last week.. That being said i will prob go past the alabaster location and go on up to hoover. Its def worth it.

The customer service is HORRIBLE. I called before going in and the man that answered the phone was extremely rude. I couldn’t find what I was looking for at other stores so I go in and I’m watched and followed THE ENTIRE TIME! I asked if she could open a closure to make sure it was what I wanted and the lady SNATCHED it out of my hand. They had what I wanted but I refuse to spend my money there!

What can I say Ace is like any hair stylists dream come true! From the first day I walked in I fell in love! Not everyone will feel that way unless youre passionate about hair or the beauty industry and have ran across some crappy beauty supply stores... theyre always so welcoming and eager to help from the first step you take into the door! Everything is set up under led lights and always so neat and organized!!!! Their variety of hair and products is limitless!! You will defiantly find what you need and more! Theyre always up to date with the NEW NEW! Sometimes thats a good thing and sometimes a bad thing! But in a good way! Lol. Everybody that knows me knows that this is my number one go to store!
