My review is based solely on the lack of customer service demonstrated by the manager of the Patton Creek store. We were the only customers in the store at the time. Our salesperson was a very friendly young man who confessed he had only worked at Mattress Firm for 2 months. But, he answered all of our questions and was patient with us while we made our decision on a mattress. A contract was written and signed to purchase a mattress, protector, and base. When we reviewed the contract, the mattress was not the one we wanted. The young salesman had misquoted the price and it would cost $400 more to get the one we wanted. The mgr offered a $200 discount. I admit we were frustrated, but we assured the salesman that we appreciated his help. After some discussion, the mgr became defensive and said, “Let’s just cancel the contract”, walked away from us and refunded our money. We probably would have bought the mattress at the $200 increase, but the mgr made the decision for us. We then went to Sleep Outfitters and purchased a great mattress for $1400 less. It was a win for us!

I recently purchased a tempurpedic mattress from this location. Both James and Alex assisted me with getting me the right mattress that suited my needs which was a king size with a great feel and enough space for my spouse and baby. They worked out a plan for me in no time. These people were such gems, their customer service skills are incredible and astonishing. I will definitely bring clientele their way. Thank you again!

Love the salesman he was great and very informative and gave us a great deal on the bed. We spent far less than we expected and that helped a lot. The warehouse was not such a pleasant visit and the people there need to learn a better way to deal with customers.

This was my second time to purchase a mattress from Mattress Firm. My first experience was about 18 months ago in another city. I was very impressed with the quality and the value of my purchases. My husband and I purchased a mattress at the Patton creek store last year. We ordered a King bed but they sent us queen pillows in our accessory package we bought. I called after months to get this corrected. The man we purchased from was no longer with the company. My husband and I bought a mattress from Kevin, the manager. He was great! We were dreading the process of buying a mattress because all we had ever heard was that it was hard to find a good mattress and that sales people were just out to get us. Kevin was the opposite of that. He was warm and welcoming and we wouldn’t have been able to pick a mattress without his guidance. We were met with a smile and Kevin showed us around the store. We felt like we got a great deal, and have slept soundly ever since!

I have quite a few chemical sensitivities and have been looking for a non-toxic mattress for quite a while. I was thrilled to see that Mattress Firm carried Intellibed which is one of the truly nontoxic mattresses on the market. However, the two models they had on the floor contained latex which would not work for me, so Shannon called around to find the model that did not contain latex and had it shipped to the store for me. A few days later I was able to go try it out and was able to purchase at an incredible price. Their financing option made it possible for me to also get a mattress for my guest room as well. My shopping experience was very pleasant and easy. I highly recommend Mattress Firm to anyone looking for the Intellibed or any other mattress out there.

I just moved from New York and had looked at two other stores for a good mattress and adjustable frame. I came into this store expecting more of the same generic assistance, but was very grateful to have met Alex. He asked me all the right questions to determine what type of mattress was right for me. He showed me all price point options and demonstrated every feature of each mattress and frame. He was helpful and knowledgeable without being the least bit pushy. I ended up making a purchase of a mattress way more expensive than I had originally planned, but I am confident it’s exactly the model I actually will need and love. Their exchange policy and extra options like warranty service were well priced and explained very well. Delivery charge is about 1/4 of what the other stores were going to charge me. This was absolutely the best mattress buying experience I have had. Thanks to Alex and Mattress Firm; both highly recommended!

I had the best experience at the Patton Creek Hoover location today. There was zero pressure from the salesman, which made browsing and selecting our mattress effortless. We ended up with the perfect mattress for us and the best price. The 120 night trial basis with free return or exchange made the purchase pressure-free. We walked in at 5:30pm on Sunday and were the only people in the store, so obviously we got plenty of attention. What made it 5 star worthy was the overall experience. We came in looking for a hybrid mattress due to all the rave reviews we had seen and heard. Alex started us off on what I would consider mid grade mattresses. He took us over to the TempurPedics next. I know what youre thinking because we thought the same thing. While the TempurPedic was nice, so was its price tag. I compliment Alex, he definitely did his best to try and sell us on that particular mattress. When we would try others in the store, he wouldnt talk bad about them per say, but he also wasnt singing their praises as loud. However, once we told him our financial situation he was a complete gentleman about it and began telling us the great things about the mattresses we were testing. When we found the one we purchased Alex was super complimentary about it and raved about our choice.Shopping for large purchases can be so stressful and overwhelming. I kind of equate mattress stores with furniture stores and car lots. I dont like being rushed or hassled the entire time, but I do like attention when I have questions or want opinions. If we had to do it all over again, I can guarantee you we would return to Mattress Firm and ask for Alex. He assisted when needed, gave exceptional customer service and made the process smooth and worry free.If you go to this location you are in good hands and wont regret it.

I really had a great experience getting a hold of a new mattress for my kids. The store was great with letting my sons check what bed they wanted for 8th grade graduation. I left happy and having someone inform me on some of the things ive not been doing with taking care of mattresses in the past was helpful. I will be replacing my own bed in the near future and will be back!
