I have been reading the reviews of this Krispy kreme location. I have been coming to Krispy kreme locations for years. Locations in Rocky Mount, NC to Tampa, Florida. They are setup the same. You may not always get your favorite but I would come early to at least have a shot at getting them. I did not have any issues with the donuts and they were fresh but I didnt get everything I wanted since it was close to noon on a Sunday. The two dozen donuts I delivered to the local animal emergency hospital were very happy to receive them.
I was amazed that the Krispy Creme in Hoover Alabama they gave us free donuts because we were in line by the drive though and went to the door to asked if we cam order inside we were told that they don’t have enough stuff and hand us 2 boxes of donuts for free! You guys are the best.Lord,God blessed them and to this company they are so kind. I love you all.
When your closing time is 11pm, that should be the time you close. Not 10-15 minutes before. Drove all the way to this location only to find them closed before 11pm. 🤦♀️I have worked in the restaurant business before and we never closed before the closing time listed.
Hoy and fresh they hold their reputation service was good and quick
All I wanted was a fresh cream filled doughnut that I had been craving for a cheat day. Sat in line for 45 minutes, drove off only to discover that the doughnut I wanted had been frozen or refrigerated and was not fresh at all! So disappointed is this location. Done.
One of my favorite doughnut places.
Literally twice I’ve been to this store and they were out of original glazed donuts?? The hot/now sign was on and we all waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes to be told that at the window. Seriously? Could you at the very least put a simple sign up that you were out of your most basic product? Also very rude at the window. Management and ownership should be ashamed.
Krispy kreme has the best donuts by far! Theyve been in business since I was born so that speaks on their behalf for half a century!!
Haven’t eaten KK in several years because of the distance, but we had to go to Hoover today and stopped to pick up two dozen. Ive eaten gas station donuts that were fresher than what we received. Hard, dry and very little filling. Worst donut I’ve ever tried to eat. Total waste of $25.00. I’ll stick with the little Mom and Pop place in our area.
How hard is it to get an order right? Out of 8 donuts specifically ordered I received 4 correctly. It’s not rocket science it’s donuts. Please check your order before leaving the drive thru.
Google says theyre open now.Hours on the door say they should be open.Door is locked.Ill find a locally owned place.
Today, Friday August 28, 2020. (Only for today)I went to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to take advantage of the special purchase of getting a Dozen Doughnuts and then get a A DOZEN FRESH HOT CHOCOLATE GLAZE DOUGHNUTS FOR $5.00. 😱😱Yesssssss! You read it right! 😊 $5.00. when you purchase a Dozen you can get a Dozen Chocolate Glaze for $5.00. ( You must ask for it)I couldn’t believe how many people were in line at the Drive Thru in the pouring down hard rain for Doughnuts and we’re only getting one box. 🤔I was thinking they must not know about the Special Doughnuts Offer going on. I did tell a person in line at the Drive through. Next, I was right when I asked her she stated she didn’t know. However, I was able to bless others with giving each 1 dozen doughnuts. ( 3 dozen) I did already text a lot of my family and friends about it. But, I came home and posted it on my Facebook page and now here on GOOGLE!It’s a shame when I see people paying more for food when they don’t have too, and then miss out on the offers for more for less or sometimes free food because they just didn’t know. Also, even if you don’t like doughnuts 🍩. There are others at your job, your car insurance, your bank,or where ever you put your money, Church, Leasing office, Car Service Dept, family, homeless shelters, and any place where you go regularly, a little or not at all to give (Be a Blessing to others). I guarantee you that you won’t regret it! I certainly didn’t! 👍😊Go get your Chocolate Doughnuts 🍩 and Glaze Donuts 🍩. I bought both and split half in one and the other. See my pictures! Don’t they look 👀 good! Yes! Fresh, Hot and Ummmmmh Good!Make sure you try the Lemonade and the Lemonade Lovers Doughnuts. They are sooo good! 10 ⭐️
Rude staff, incorrect and incomplete orders, and a dining room that’s randomly closed without any notice or signage. Everything about this location screams poorly managed and likely poorly paid employees. No excuse not to take pride in your work, though. Stay away and get much better service at Shipley down the street.
Ive never been to this location if Krispy Kreme when I wasnt disappointed, and today was no different. Waited in line for the drive through for 30 minutes and was told the they didnt have the donuts I wanted. They were out. Of chocolate glazed. So I got a couple of regular glazed instead. They were stale.I wont be back. Not to this location.
Always fresh donuts. The customer service is also more improved.
A tad bit Rowdy in the evening still a decent place to take family my kids loved the ice cream parlor are we all love dancing and taking pictures to the music
I ordered six chocolate covered cream filled and six chocolate covered custard filled. Two of them barely had any chocolate on top and they all had very little filling. I didnt look at them till I got home which was 20 miles away. If I had seen them sooner I would have taken them back.
I placed an order for delivery and I did not receive a response that my choices were not available until after the door dash driver arrived and the driver had to wait for an extended period of time before he was told and called me to ask me what I would rather have as an alternative. I have been very disappointed in the service at this Krispy Kreme location.Finding staff dedicated to customer service is difficult but as an owner and manager it is your responsibility to make sure your staff is providing excellent service or you will lose business.
Sat in drive thru 18 mins placed order didnt have nothing but just glazed doughnuts which were good
We stopped to get doughnuts 3 hours before they closed, 9/18/21, The lady was very rude, she obviously did not want to sell any doughnuts, had a attitude, that we wanted to buy two dozen doughnuts,I live very far from any crispy cream so I thought I would bring my daughters some, Then after all of that, she walks right beside we’re they are taking fresh doughnuts off the racks which were ready to be served, and grabs is the oldest ones she could find to hand to us .They would not let us buy anything other than glazed .I thought you wanted us to come in and spend our money, I know times are different but if it bothers your employees that we want to buy tue product you sell, I will take my money elsewhere.Thank you for your excellent experience crispy cream .
I have hesitated to write the following review before trying them again, again, again, and again. Foolish me!I have driven out of my way after work, hoping that they would have my husbands favorite, chocolate iced doughnuts. They never have them when I have gone. They had the chocolate iced with sprinkles. The last set of doughnuts purchased and I purchased a dozen; I made it home, looked at them because they seemed off, they were somewhat flat, the taste was not right, my family tasted them and my oldest son said, THIS is sad... He has never ever complained about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They were so bad till we just chose to give them away and I was out of twenty something dollars. Not only have I driven out of my way after a hard days work, but the time waiting in the line is a bit much. My cost for the purchase goes up due to the gas being utilized. Yes, I could go inside, but when I have, I found myself upset due to the lack of customer service. It is best for me to stay in my car to order.I have taken into consideration how loved the business is, but I also know that when you are as famous, a way to deliver items and not always be out should change.I did have an extremely kind person at the window the last time. He has a wonderful smile and a great personality. Most of the time when I have gone, the person does not deliver the type of customer service one would expect after such a long wait.I stayed away for half a year before and now I will stay away from this particular Krispy Kreme for a good few months.I did not desire to write such a review. I truly hope that someone will read my review and realize that I would just appreciate the following:*Quicker service in drive-thru*Chocolate iced doughnuts being available*Consistent service with a smile*More support possibly for the staff because there must be a breakdown somewhere.*For someone to realize that for the many people who sit and wait while losing gas, they really crave Krispy Kreme so why not begin to do better. This has gone on long enough in my opinion. Over two years to be exact. The one on Hwy 280 does not deliver too slowly from my experience. I am not driving out of my way and should not.
I have to stop there whenever Im in hoover, love the hot fresh Original Glazed.
They had a good supply of lemon and raspberry filled so we where good to go.
Service here was slow & not very customer focused. They are carrying on conversations with each other rather than acknowledging the customer...and the donuts were definitely not fresh!
Something up with them lately that really makes me question going back. Half the time I go there, the lights on the building are off clearly still during work hours, always are out of glazed and have cotton candy or non fan favorite doughnuts left. If you are open. Make doughnuts. Not hard. Also they denied me my buy a dozen get a dozen for $1 because I did not have my app with rewards while I clearly have the email in front of them with my name on it. Being told my number is needed when I have never been asked before for it, how is one suppose to get a deal if they haven’t ever gone through steps that are seemingly new that allow for a deal. Absolutely no help from the staff. Always slow to help, not willing to go above and beyond for customers that are loyal, and always seem to be standing around inside. Really sad to see what once was a fun place to go to now be mostly miss for a hit or miss store on whether they will even have doughnuts while still in open hours. Pretty pitiful.
Tried 6 times to pick up Uber Eats without success. Inside closed (not reason stated), drive thru is backed up into road, 1hr wait. Tried call Krispy Kreme support but no answer. They ought to just fully automate it if they cant staff it.
Terrible service and completely incompetent employees. Used to be awesome but has drastically changed lately and not for the better
Use to be a good Krispy Kreme but seems something has happened over the years. Lobby hardly open, long lines, randomly closed during normal business hours, delivery/online orders always wrong. I recommend driving another mile down and going to Shipley’s!
Rude, rude, rude!! Awful service and super rude girl who took our order!! No customer service skills at all!!!
This Krispy Kreme continues to be disappointing. It really isn’t worth coming anymore. Their lobby is never open and the drive through is always long. After a long wait, I was greeted by a rude employee, minimal options, and then my order was wrong. I keep hoping that it will get better, but I think I’d be better off eating at Shipleys.
The drive through associates were extremely slow and unprofessional. I gave my order for two original glazed and a coffee twice and they still got it wrong.
Walking in wasn’t offered, doors were locked. No one responded when going to the drive thru.
This location is open for dine in however when I went in to order the employee sent me to the drive-through even though there was another customer ordering inside. He told me I could not order inside that I had to go through the drive-through. There was no sign on the door that said drive-through only and the front door was unlocked. I proceeded through the drive-through I just felt like I was really inconveniencing the staff when I was ordering in the drive thru. No one was friendly. In fact when they took my money and gave me my donuts and no one spoke a word to me.
15-20 minutes in drive through, only to be told they were out of every donut I wanted. Then the one I did order was wrong, and I was told they were actually out of the one I ordered. Wont be back.
Doughnuts were fresh, but the machine that makes coffee drinks was not working because they had no milk. I was very disappointed.
Horrible. Waited in line for 40 minutes for my order that was pre-ordered online and already paid for. They tell me they don’t have them. Ridiculous. And I have had several other occasions where they have given filled donuts with no filling or been out of almost all their donuts. Don’t waste your time here, just go to Shipley’s right down the road. Nice people, good donuts, and way cheaper.
Service is typically slow with staff without any sense of urgency. The doughnut case is often empty so you just have to guess what is available. Latte machine is broken a lot, but the staff do not realize it until after they charge you. Then they clean the machine for some undertermined amount of time until you ask for a refund. The doughnuts are good, but all the other elements of the store leave much to be desired. Id recommend going to Shipley Doughnut, which is a local doughnut shop 1/2 mile away.
My daughter and I really like donuts. This place has donuts. They taste real good. You can even watch the donuts go around on a fancy conveyor belt.
I went to Krisp kreme tonight after my wifes face lit up when we drove by earlier. She ecstaticly exclaimed “I forgot, they have the chocolate donuts with chocolate glaze today and tomorrow” I knew I must get back. Tonight the baby does down and behind her, my wife is ready to crash well. Perfect! Ill slip out and have donuts for the morning. I arrive at the store, 1002p, Im too late. My heart sank as I made the slow drive around to a dark ordering board and window. As I approach the window, it opens and I am met by Keniya. She’s coming off shift, tired and the restaurant is closed but she’s smiling. I tell her it would make my wife’s day tomorrowIf I could just get a few. She says “hold one moment” then returns with a smile that would make any bad day better. She handed me a dozen, collected my payment, and smiled as she handing them through telling me to “have a good night and day tomorrow”. This young lady is the epitome of treating a customer well and they will return. Excellent customer service skills and ability to “get the job done” despite the “obstacles”. Thank you to this sweet lady and the management team here that have rightly invested in her growth and professionalism.
The last two times I’ve been to the Hoover location, they don’t have much of a selection. They basically have glazed and nothing else to choose from. If you’re open until 11 you should have a descent selection at 7:30
I have had nothing but good experiences with this Krispy Kreme, they always have my online orders ready when I get there, their donuts are always filled correctly, and their options are fairly large and kept in stock. They send lots of coupons via email, so I would join that.
Mohammad was super friendly, helpful and patient as I had a toddler with me who was enamored by all the doughnuts. The doughnuts were excellent too!
Out of creme filled. Chocolate covered were barely covered and could see donut through chocolate and doughnuts seemed smaller. So expensive compared to other places.
To many people in line at drive thru so we didnt get any donuts there
I Love Krispy Kreme Donuts Glaze but today we also wanted Blue Berry they were out of most of the others but it was very nice Customer Service but sometime their mic isnt very clear.
Love Krispy Kreme but can’t stand this location. Their lobby is always closed, their drive is slow as can be, and they are always out of staples (at 8AM on a Saturday).
I dont recommend getting the cream filled donut. Now all it is is a regular donut with a little bit of cream inside they basically ruined one of the things that made them famous. And also cream is in the name I wouldnt give them any of my business. Not until they fixed what they call a cream filled donut back to what it used to be. Dont waste your money!! Not that fresh either by the way
There were a lot of customers, but the service was very fast. The employees were very friendly! Our order was filled in less than 5 minutes!
Literally just left from there a few minutes ago..they were supposed to be giving out the cute senior 2021 donuts and the lady gave us a box of plain donuts. She acted like she didn’t care and had no good explanation as to why she couldn’t give us what they promoted.
Theyre donut maker was late getting theyre so they had no glazed donuts
…. Site says they close at 10 got there at 8:08 and girl over the speaker said “ We’re closed … “ line is always long and attitudes are horrible. HOT DONUT SIGN IS NEVER ON
So addictive! Best donuts in the entire galaxy 😋!!impossible to only eat one. If the hot n ready sign is on prepare to wait. Everyone else has the same thing in mind. Its like a fly and a bug zap light. CANNOT RESIST!!
This Krispy Kreme was located in Vestavia. It was buy a Dozen Glazed, get a Dozen Free.I see the gimmick here. On these Sell Days the Doughnuts are one half the size of their regular Days.I wasnt impressed by their Icing at all! One doughnut had yellow & pink lines in a circle, I couldnt bare to try it as it appeared to be the color of Mustard!!Nothing pretty in my Free Box. In fact I tried to give away that Free Dozen & NOBODY wanted it.
Great service. Faster to go in because the line was around the building. Loved seeing the lines of donuts being made. Awesome donuts!!
There are several donut shops closer to Trussville than Krispy Kreme, but weve been talking about driving to Hoover for Krispy Kreme. Finally did so today, and it was a disappointment. Poor selection, and the quality missed the mark by a long shot. Hardly any chocolate icing on the iced custard/cream filled. They were overcooked. And are they smaller than they used to be? Next time, well try something closer to Trussville. Three stars is being generous.
Their donuts are the absolute best. Workers inside were amazing as well.
The it was a horrible experience. First we ordered a dozen plain donuts but when gettin to window was told we could only have half a dozen cause they were running out so we get home & there is only 4 donuts in box but paid for 6 . i strongly do not recommend going to this location.
By far hands down the absolute worst experience with any business transaction of any kind in my life. I have tried to patronize this business many times and have never managed to actually be able to buy anything. If you pick anything on the menu it is always sold out. If I ask for a dozen assorted I get. Ok... What do you want.... But again everything ask for specifically is always sold out. If I order online the app crashes, if I try to call in an order its the same. No business has ever made it so difficult to buy something from them.
This place is horrible and should be shut down, period!!! How in the hell can the owners allow this??? He or she got to be ignorant themselves... Im convinced. Its 280 KK from this point on. This store is embarrassing.
My husband and I went to the drive thru late at night and they were out of a lot of donuts. They only had 4 types available. However, the man at the window was so friendly to us and let us know that he felt our frustration. It was much better than the experience we had at the other Krispy Kreme in Irondale.
Hey! What can I say about the best donuts in the world! Nothing like stopping and getting a dozen of glazed that are still hot. Melt in your mouth goodness!
Bad experience all around! Been craving a delicious doughnut on a sunny evening, so we started at one location about 30 minutes from home. They were practically sold out of everything except a handful of regular glazed. And honestly, didnt act like they cared to be bothered with me. We left and went another 30 miles to hit a different location. This time we made an online order. They close at 10pm. Scheduled to pick up at 840ish..they automatically debit my account and sent an email confirming the order. As we arrive we notice it was dark and there were no cars. There was a note on the drivethru that said sorry this store is closed. We pull around and I notice 3-4 employees inside working in the back. I walk to the door carlights shining bright at the building and beat on the door. They looked up and, as if I were a ghost in the night, ignored me. There were at least a dozen other cars come to the drive thru during all of this. Guess Ill be forced to find another sweet craving from now on..its gona be a minute before I waste another trip like that.
I have seen to cleaner shops and the staff was slow to respond for assistance.
Lines ALWAYS take forever. Only been twice in the 5 years I’ve lived here. Most recently: No pumpkin spice, no Reese, no whipped cream on my frozen latte... Calling for over 30 minutes straight from the app and google website address no one answers the phones I guess. So Never going back for me. And that’s a promise I can keep y’all can have it. That’s a crowd I don’t wanna fight anything for. Thanks for the non service. Have a good day.
Well, the drive through is down and the doughnuts are smaller and cost more. Thats double inflation. More money was enough, but less product means no more stops for me out my wife. The employees were prompt and courteous. They made it 3.
Who doesnt like Krispy Kreme? Best donuts, period. This location didnt have a very broad selection on our visit, but the staff was friendly and the donuts were delicious!
Hot and fresh line was long as usual but they moved fast ! This was a year ago⤴️⬅️ last night I visited and not so swell the young girl at the window evidently needs customer service skills bc she had none! The manager on duty came to window after my request and got me together and I was outta there ...listening to the customer is fundamental and very customer oriented! I placed my order thru app told me to call number I did after I’d sat there more than 5 minutes then I notice no cars in line no one picked up phone so I drove around to window where I sat at least another 5 minutes that’s when the girl asked if she could help me left the window about 3 minutes came back told me we don’t take orders at the window well I guess not ‘ I did it on app anyway I think my taste for doughnuts have ran out to drive 30 mins there and back it’s not worth it
Hot sign was on . Stopped to get donuts to take to work. They were cold and stale . Not even warm. Service was terrible. Worse Krispy Kreme experience in history ! $40 down the drain . Nobody even wanted the donuts.
We got hot donuts with fresh glaze. Theres not much that can beat it. Fast, courteous service too!
Friendly staff.Nice & clean.
Green light is on..... means that they are making hot donuts..... delicious
Hot light never own always cold doughnuts
9:30 pm. Completely out of donuts on Sat night! Guy taking orders was completely clueless. Who is managing this store? Apparently No one with any sense whatsoever.
Krispy Kreme donuts are a real treat. They have the best glazed donuts, especially when theyre hot! Every holiday brings a special selection added to the menu.
Today the store was dirty/ filthy I would say, no donuts being made, line running with nothing on it at all. In the display cases 4 kinds all some type of chocolate only. and original. we asked where they going to cook more, and when? She told us yes, in 4-5 hours, when the next shift comes in. What da what. So for today half a star.
We would have been at the end of the drive through, hanging out of the parking lot, looking at about a 20+ minute wait. Instead, we parked, placed an order online, went inside, and were in and out in 3 minutes with hot, delicious, doughnuts.
The cashier walked away to work on a huge order with a whole lobby of customers waiting to check out. We waited for over 5 min, asked for another cashier, and waited more. Finally, several of us just left our boxes of donuts on the counter and left. The drive thru guy was working his tail off. All by himself.packing donut orders and making specialty drinks, too. He was to busy to help the lobby customers. No other workers were in the check out area. And evidently no one else could work the register.
Lady on the speaker was decent however I waited about 40 minutes for an order I placed online and then was told “we are out” like cmon I don’t recommend. If you want speed and accuracy this isn’t the place
Everyone was very friendly and waited on me with a smile I was very pleased with my trip here love krispy kreme
Horrible, horrible customer service. It’s a Friday night and we wait 45 minutes in the drive through line. By the time we do make it to the window to order, we are told they are completely sold out of donuts. How can that be? The hot sign was just turned off. This store needs to management.
Friendly helpful great product
Great service,Great doughnuts!
Good donuts but the line through the drive through was a mile long
Out of doughnuts....practically always. Dilapidated looking. Bad customer service.
I love this place but good grief they are slow
I order a dozen of glaze and they wasnt hot at all and they didnt have the donut holes available and it was late morning. The person who served me was very nice.
I called today for 50 dozens of donuts and this location said they can’t do it. I even asked for 25 12 dozen of the original glaze and they won’t do it it’s 4:47pm and I was told over the phone that you have to give them 24 hrs in advance. I’m not happy with this. I even called the Eastlake location and they said the same thing. This is for a fundraiser for a gas company I worked for. And both locations will not do it. The hours said your open to 11pm and it’s 4:45 and Kristina cream does not want the business nor does the employees want to work.
Ordered a dozen randomly picked donuts through DoorDash. Got eight of the same kind. The rejects. They taste like they are a day or two old. They have some kind of disgusting cream in the middle. And two glazed 🙄. Wont be going back here.
It was really good
Theyve been out of original glazed for two days now. Apparently this location is consistently out of doughnuts which baffles me since their only purpose is to make and sell doughnuts. I wonder how many thousands of dollars theyve lost over the past few months because they been out of doughnuts? Also, the line at this location is always slow and the customer service is poor. Would highly recommend taking your business to a different location or somewhere local.
This location was closed for a period of time and now theyre open it never has everything on the menu. Also they choose whats available and whats not available basically its poorly ran.
They have great doughnuts. I definitely will come back to this location.
Best donuts in Birmingham! Love their iced lates too
Hit and miss. Sometimes the doughnuts are over cooked. Sometimes they run out.
Sat in the drive through line for at least 30 minutes. When finally made it the order station, they were out of glaze. I was told it would be a while. I drove 30 minutes for nothing.
Drove 30 min away, stood in line for 30 min just for them to tell me they were out of original glazed. Would not recommend
