One of the best coffee joints around the Birmingham area. The staff is really friendly and the coffee is even better! I’m obsessed with their Hank Sr. latte (pictured), which is absolutely delicious. They also have a wonderful selection of food and locally sourced gifts. If you’re looking to shop local, they have lots of great options, including artwork. It is located at the top of Bluff Park and there is typically plenty of parking. It is directly across the street from the Tip Top Cafe. There is a mix of comfortable seating inside and small tables and chairs outside.

This place is so good! We were passing through on our way to Atlanta and stopped here for breakfast and coffee. Their pastries are so delicious and fresh. The coffee is smooth, bold and has an amazing flavor. Would recommend this place to any coffee lover.It’s beautifully decorated, has some cool gift-like items for purchase, and board games with hangout spots.There’s also an amazing lookout view right across the street. It’s among some pretty shops and really pretty houses.

I love this place a family based business, where they care about their customers. The environment inside is friendly and employees are awesome, like to help and love what they do.Also they support a lot of hand made things where help a lot of people.

Such a cute cafe!! They have a huge variety of drinks and light bites and even have boba tea!!! They also have a wealth of trinkets and goods -- everything from mugs and jewelry to soaps and books (all from either local or fair trade artists). This is an excellent addition to the Bluff Park community!

Nice shop with some trinkets and t-shirts. I had a Blueberry Muffin and a medium cappuccino. The muffin was good and the staff offered to put it in the microwave to heat it up.There are a few little round tables and chairs out front. The door sounds like a cats meow when it opens and closes.If you walk across the street there is a nice view of the valley. Here is the deal. This is an interesting location and its a nicely run coffee shop.If you are a coffee connoisseur you will not be impressed . If you are looking for a nice place to meet friends or family, you wont be disappointed.

In a world wear moms and their little ones are often not made to feel welcome in places like coffee shops ect. The ladies working there made us feel like any other customer. They even had a changing table in the bathroom. Thank you!Great atmosphere tons of snack options and good drinks.

Went into Wild Roast before the pandemic and my son loved that they had a little play area which also allowed me to drink my coffee while it was still hot 🤣. Went this past week and the young lady suggested a frozen hot chocolate to my son and he said, yes, please! He took one sip and said, yum, this is so good. The staff was very friendly and so patient with my son.

Wild Roast is great! Love having a local coffee shop now. The coffee itself is good, nice and strong. Theres always a 2,000 pc. puzzle to work on. The service isnt blazing fast, but thats not why I come here. Plus, theyve just opened, so everybodys learning how to run/work at the place; I expect itll get more efficient as time goes by. I especially love the kids toys/area, means my wife and I can come more often 😁. We love it!

This is literally a hidden jewel on the top of a mountain! Inside Bluff Park Shopping, it is a little hard to find as it does not have an awning sign. However, once inside you will enjoy the spacious and eclectic layout which boasts a dedicated childrens play area, couches and public books, games and puzzles. The menu is fantastic and offers enough tasty treats to make a meal. There is outdoor seating and you can fully enjoy the mountain top view by walking across the street...

Wild Roast is located in Bluff Park. Formally the location was called Moonlight on the mountain. Since it was later in the afternoon we opted for the decaf coffee. (I always get the decaf if Im trying a new place because if the decaf is good everything else is also.) Happily the decaf was excellent. It was smooth and reminded me of a mocha flavored coffee but not that strong a mocha flavor. We had the turtle cookie and looked around will we waited. The staff are very friendly and spend a little time with each customer chatting. If I could give it 10 stars I would. A little bonus if you are there at sunset you get an awesome view. I recommend you check it out and come back with your friends. Hope to see you there.

Very cute coffee shop! They have a space for kids with legos, a train, some crayons and I a little kitchen. They sell handmade products and soaps. I got myself a cute fairy made in Nepal. They also offer some yoga classes downstairs and have some food. I liked their avocado spread. Their coffee was good as well!

Best thing that has happened to bluff park in a long time. Great gathering place with interesting variety of entertainment, great baked goods and coffee and nice place for lunch. Owners are really nice people and I give everything they are doing A plus. Let’s make sure this place stays here for a very long time. Stop by for a coffee and see.

Such a unique place! I went here for the first time today and I hope to be a regular soon as a constantly studying grad student. They have a variety of food and drink options. I am pleasantly surprised that they have more than just pastries! I enjoyed the pimento cheese and crackers (and cookie of course). They are incredibly friendly as well.

The coolest, cutest coffee shop around! Friendly staff, delicious coffee and treats, and the BEST part (for me at least 😊) is the spot designated for kids to play while Mom drinks her coffee! I have 2 Starbucks and several other coffee places that are closer to my house than Wild Roast, but when I need a coffee fix, I drive just a bit further for the quality and service. So definitely worth it. It’s a such a unique and delightful place! I enjoy the one-of-a-kind coffees and drinks at Wild Roast. My favorite is the Oreo Speedwagon. The staff is super friendly and it’s always clean. I highly recommend!!!

We stop by Wild Roast almost every week. Its a great low-key place to spend some family time together, play a board game, and have a nice coffee. My husband and I have also really enjoyed going to their regular trivia events on date nights. Love having this cozy little spot in our neighborhood!

I love going to Wild Roast. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. The toy area is my favorite part because I’m now able to meet friends and actually talk while the kids play and have a great time. It’s my favorite meet up spot. I highly recommend it!

Had a great first visit at Wild Roast today. I met the owner Bart and his wife and they were very welcoming and friendly. Its an excellent space and a great addition to the neighborhood. I visited during training, I look forward to seeing them again when they are open full hours and rolling at full steam. I had the Oreo Speedwagon. I mean, how could I not? If you are in Bluff Park, do yourself a favor and drop in. You wont be disappointed.

I went recently with my 9 and 11 year old boys. They were thrilled with the frozen lemonade and the mango strawberry smoothy. The oldest and I spent time working on the puzzle laid out on the table and my youngest played in the children’s area. What a great place to work, relax, and hang out.

I had a terrible first experience at Wild Roast. It took 30 minutes to get 2 iced coffees and 2 breakfast flats. They forgot I had even ordered my breakfast flats, then the worker proceeded to ask me if I had even paid, which I had 20 min prior to her asking. Both workers behind the counter were obviously not getting along and not organized, which appeared very unprofessional to me. I liked the atmosphere, but due to the poor customer service, I will not be back.

One of my favorite places in Birmingham, Wild Roast Cafe, is now open again, with safety features to meet these tentative times. That said, this Bluff Park treasure has lost none of its charm with appropriately spaced seating, friendly baristas in masks behind plexiglass, polite signage saying masks preferred, and the option of ordering curbside.It was delightful to have a brief afternoon outing there with my adult son, both of us wearing masks. We enjoyed sitting at one of the outdoor tables out front and sipping our delicious frap and cold brew coffee while nibbling on one of their amazing big cookies. Excited to also buy a bag of savory breakfast blend coffee beans to grind at home for their out-of-this-world coffee.Owners Shannon and Bart Styes also do an incredible job offering affordable local and fair trade art, jewelry and gifts throughout the shop. They have brought much joy and life to the Bluff since opening a little over a year ago. Live music and open mic nights have been a lot of fun, and will return when it is safe.

We Love Wild Roast!!! It’s one of our favorite family hang outs! The coffee drinks are amazing. I get the Hank (bourbon flavored deliciousness), frozen hot chocolate, or iced green tea/lemonade with a dash of chia seeds. They have the best Paleo treats from Joyful Food Co. (the ginger snaps!!!) to Healthy Bento boxes. Comfy couches or tables to catch up on work. Local artists sell their jewelry and crafts there. Friendly owners and staff!
