I own a landscape construction company and our shop is right around the corner from DAS. Over the years weve had a bunch of work done.... added heated seats and lumbar support to my wifes car, new modern bluetooth radio to an old dump truck, remote starts in my car and my wifes. Ive done occasional business here for a long time. Ive always been happy and the prices always seem like less than I was fearing, so thats good.Thanks to Steve and the gang. I called a certain shop in New Hope to ask how much it would cost to get a keyless entry system installed in my 04 Grand Marquis. They quoted me an outrageous price, and I would have had to provide my own kit.A friend of mine recommended Dealer Automotive Services and they were much more reasonable. They provided the kit as well. Overall they provided a great service at a reasonable price. Good customer service as well. Highly recommend.Pro tip: If you have nowhere to go while you wait for your car, theres a neat trail just a couple blocks away, its called 9 mile creek trail. Its a nice little getaway from all the traffic and construction thats going on in Hopkins right now.

They gave me the cheapest quote of anyone else I had talked to by far and were the most knowledgeable about why my car starter wasnt working. They were able to repiar my A/C assembly hoses and weld on new connectors and also custom made new o-rings for my 2006 Saab Aero within a 24 hour time frame. The work they did looks amazing like its a brand new A/C assembly. I would definitely recommend this place for people who have a leak in their cars A/C hoses or connections.

Send in a request for a quote to have remote start installed on their website, got a call back the next day with the options and prices. Called back a few days later to set up an appointment. They installed it super fast and called me when it was finished, when I picked up the car later that day they took the time to make sure I knew how it all worked and answered all of my questions. They never tried to up sell me and the price they had originally stated was the final price, no surprises. The entire experience was great, which I had been nervous about from reading so many bad reviews about places doing a horrible job with remote starters, either not being able to install them or breaking certain features on your car. Everything works as its supposed to, and they will be doing any future installs on any other cars I buy in the future.

Did an awesome job installing a two way remote start for my mother

My car air conditioner stopped working a while back (it kept losing cooling agent pressure within a week after charging), and one day I drove past this place which seemed to specialize on that kind of work, so I figured Id have them take a look.They charged for the diagnostic and said I could apply that price to later repairs which I found very fair at the time.They told me that two major parts of my a/c system were broken and needed to be replaced. Parts were about $400, labor about $600. I said I had to think about this first.Then a friend who works on building a/c units offered to take a look. At first he only found that a metal ring was no longer oiled properly and could possibly be the source of the leak. That seemed to fix it, but 4 days later the a/c was no longer working again.On his second attempt he managed to locate the exact place where it leaked and when opening up the part found that one rubber o-ring was broken and replaced it.The a/c has been working ever since (over 2 weeks now, daily excessive use).The repair cost me a few bucks for the o-ring plus some money for the cooling agent recharge.I find the difference in price between $1000 and $50 very interesting.I do understand that sometimes leaks are hard to locate, but if you dont know for sure where it leaks you shouldnt insist that two major expensive parts need to be replaced if it is not the case.I would not use this place again.

I got my remote starter before winter and Im really happy with it,Andy helped me and he was super friendly and helpful, I asked which one was the best for my truck and even though I was willing to pay a little bit more for the other model, he recommended the one that was perfect fit for my needs and happened to be less expensive, he could have sold me the expensive one but he didnt.My schedule is super tight so I dropped my truck off at night and next day they called me at 10:30 am saying that it was ready... super fast!!, when I went to pick it up I was running late so they waited for me... they were nice and super friendly, it was really far from were I live but id definitelygo to them again if needed.

My new car had problems starting with the key ever since a had them put a remote starter in . After calling AAA several times over a 21 year period, the problem was final found . The employee only finger twisted the connecting wires together instead of soldering the wires together. Now that the problem was found I never had starting problems ever again. I will never go back there.

The service was very friendly and personable but I was disappointed in my experience.My car starter was no longer taking a charge, so I called here after finding out they were any Astrostart dealer. (I purchased mine in another state.) I came in and purchased a new charger as a first step. I called and asked what to do next as that didnt work. They said come in anytime and they would reprogram a new one for me. I came in and they didnt have the kind needed so they had to order it. They said they would call as soon as it was in. Two weeks went by and I thought I better follow up - when I called they told me the order had arrived the week prior and they were sorry they forgot to call me. I asked if I could make an appointment and again they said again to just come in. Two days later when I arrived they werent prepared for me. The new starter required charging before being able to be programmed. So I sat and waited for 45 minutes while the battery charged. It has been so cold so I was motivated to have this fixed & I didnt feel like starting the process somewhere else, but I didnt feel like they were motivated to have my business.They were able to reprogram a new remote and Im pleased to be enjoying a warmed up car again.

One of the best kept secrets when it comes to Automotive AC service is Dealer Automotive services in Hopkins MN.First time I used them I had a Motor Home with Cab air that wasnt working. Since it was a Winnebago design, no shop in town really knew how to repair the system so, traveling was miserable (hot).Later, I found out about DAS who not only works on traditional cars and trucks but also does shuttle buses, city buses, food trucks, campers, etc,They fix systems no one else can.Was quoted $675 to replace a hose, DAS did a splice for $45.Ive had 6 other experiences with 3 of my work vans, a minivan, as well as a Grand AM.
