You know how some places youve been going to for over 10 years but the food and service is never quite as good as you remember it? Thats not the case with Lancers. Been going here on and off since the early 2000s and Ive always had consistently great food; fast and friendly service and great value for the price. Simply the best diner in the area, with awesome breakfast food, an extensive menu, and very reasonable prices.If youre in the area, so yourself a favor and give Lancers a try!
We tried Lancers for the first time yesterday after hearing many good reviews... FINALLY a good oldFashioned quality diner. Their soup was great, we ordered the tomato barley and roasted chicken soup. I had the 611 burger and it was cooked perfectly. Everything came out hot and flavorful. We can’t wait to go back and try breakfast!
My favorite breakfast place. I always order a western omelette with american cheese and rye toast. They have the best coffee and breakfast potatoes. Staff is always happy and attentive. I visit at least once a month. Cant recommend enough. The staff really makes it a wonderful experience.
Service was good and food was GREAT!😋. The only thing was a LOT of PEOPLE WERENT WEARING their MASKS during waiting periods 🤬

The food was excellent, delicious and came out quick, the staff was excellent, pleasant, warm with a smile and the 1st time we went there the cutest babys youd ever want to see were there of one of the young ladies that work there on her day off. That speaks volumes. Love it, love it. Customer service poster child!

Theres just something about a Diner. And Lancers Diner is the BEST around! The quality of their food is wonderful & it tastes delicious! Its so nice to be able to go to a quality Diner! The staff is friendly & efficientto customers AND each other. Thats very important to me.
Only thing that makes me give this a star is the servers are nice but apart from that i ordered a eggs benedict, the ptaots are definitely frozen and cold on the inside, the eggs taste like there powdered like in a hotle and the breast was soft and ozzy, also there frys aren’t like normal frys there not crunchy but soft and icky, best thing here was the glass of water

Absolutely wonderful staff and owner. I went every day for a week and was never disappointed with anything on the menu. As always though, the staff is what made the real difference. Definitely stop here for a real down home style diner and food.
If ya want great diner food and experience take the extra ride up the road to Lancers. Husband and I like this place and its owner who like the olden days diner will engage his customers with friendly chat. Yeah...Lancerz is a good thing!
Great diner! The prices are great and the food was well portioned. The staff was very friendly and attentive by constantly filling our coffee and water glasses. The wait to get a table was not too long for a Sunday morning. The whimsical oversized utensils were a nice touch. Very easy to spot from the road and large parking lot.
Lancers is probably our favorite diner. Food is great and plentiful and service is exceptional. My only regret is that they did away with the petite menu.

Lancers Diner was a very friendly place to have breakfast...the staff smiled and accomplished seating people with ease...my blueberry pancakes were packed with fruit! They kept our coffee cups full and didnt rush us out. Well be back!

Food is fine. Owner has books for sale at the checkout counter calling Anthony Fauci “dangerous.” Whatever your feelings about Covid, understanding public health like hand washing, periodic cleaning of counter and work spaces, safe food temperatures and the health of food handlers, are something a restaurant owner should take seriously. I can’t take my family to eat where all that may be questioned by someone trying to peddle the U.S. Constitution to customers. I don’t like being reminded of the rights women and minorities were denied in this nation while eating my scrapple.

Even on a Sunday morning there was on a minimal wait while IHOP and several other restaurants had +1hour waits. Good staff, very friendly and attentive to their customers. Had 4 others with me and was a good experience.
Owner uses his diner to sell anti-Fauci propaganda. He tried to discuss the Constitution with me when I was just trying to pay for my eggs.Stick to eggs, genius.
Ordered Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, it was piled high and delicious. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish it, was WAY TOO MUCH food. Would recommend you try it out for yourself.
First time eating here. Daughter had the eggs Benedict and said they were great wife had the French dip and really liked it I had a great omelet and it was also really good. They serve cheese steak egg rolls and we tried them and WOW!!! They were really good. Definitely worth the wait and will be going back again as soon as possible.

Lancers is my favorite diner in the Willow Grove/Horsham area. The food is always fantastic, in my 5 years as a patron I have been always pleased with my meal, no matter of what I order. Servers are also great, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to eat on Rt. 611.

Lancers is a very dependable resturant. It has two things going for it. Well three. First the food is good and tasty. No pretences just good diner food. The wait staff is hard working down to earth and very nice. The third is price. Very inexpensive for the area. We went out of our way to check out how they have survived the Covid crisis. We will be going back.

Lancer is a good diner. Posted are pics of pork chops and cottage pie. Both were good and nice portion size. Have also had chicken parm dinner here which was also good. I havent stumbled upon anything that is great, but it is good diner food. They have a nice salad bar that has premades as well. Staff is friendly and courteous. On one trip we were there awhile doing some work and we never felt rushed by the staff to leave. Family friendly.

Best meal Ive ever had at Lancers. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich was amazing. The bagel was toasted but still soft on the inside, and the bacon was crispy. The hashbrowns we ordered in a speed run were out quick, and the plating of hashbrowns we got on the side of our entree was perfectly crunchy on top and the right amount of moisture in the meat of the hashbrowns.Update: Went again. Had to review again. Whoever is on the bagel sandwich making staff (lol) outdid any previous bagel Ive had here. Asked for it to be toasted, with extra egg, bacon, and cheese. Wanted my bacon well done, it was perfect. Seriously. Perfect bagel sandwich. A great crunch, right amount of moisture, etc. Hashbrowns were a bit too well done, but its what I asked for, and the bagel was so good I kind of forgot I had other food in front of me.Ill be back!

Excellent diner, open all night, salad bar, varied menu. By all rights the food shouldnt be excellent, but its pretty remarkable. The salad bar included things like bread pudding, feta, dolmades, steamed shrimp and a very good crab salad. We visited three times while visiting the area, and sampled across the menu without disappointment, even venturing toward dishes I normally avoid at a diner, like turkey (legit carved bird, not loaf), salmon (my wife declared it one of the best shes had lately) and the meatball parmigiana sandwich.Theres a mildness to the flavor choices here ... The turkey gravy isnt very salty, the red sauce tasted mostly of tomato (only gently of herbs or salt) but I can respect that; its easier to add salt than to remove it.The coffee is good. The service is good. There may be a wait during peak mealtimes. This is a good place.

I was recommended to this restaurant by someone at work, whom this restaurant is his absolute favorite. We celebrated his birthday at Lancer’s diners. The service was great- we made various requests for minor modifications to the menu, and they were kind to listen and make accommodations. Their food was superb and the safety precautions they practiced were impresive. They also have a large outdoor dining area. Our experience for the birthday meal at Lancer’s diner was excellent!

The breakfast food was good. Not any different from any other Diner. Price was lower than competitors. I would not go back because they do not serve Heintz ketchup. Their brand of ketchup was terrible and I told them owner that. He said hed been having trouble getting Heintz squeeze bottles as well as the little individual packets. Whats going on at Heintz. The owner and server were extremely nice.

Staff is courteous and they work very hard to please customers.Baked goods available but we are looking forward to once again tasting baked goods on premises.

This place was DISGUSTING! We went for breakfast and we got cheesesteaks and they were low quality. The meat didnt taste right, the fries had no flavor and barely any crunch, the waitors were kind of rude and didnt show much care for customors. Overall not a good place. I prefer the Eagle diner over this junk.🤢
Atmosphere is nice, wait staff, pleasant. Music was oldies R&B a great choice for conversation. The was fast hot and delicious.

Boy did I used to love this place - until we ordered takeout and saw a packed parking lot, a packed lobby of people and huge amounts of people sitting together without their masks during a time when restaurants are supposed to be closed to indoor seating. I completely get that restaurants need to survive this, which is why I was getting takeout, but personally, I didn’t feel safe getting food from a place packed with people during a pandemic, when indoor seating should be closed. Which is a shame since we loved this place so much and I would have called it the best diner in the area. So I guess if you’re not taking the pandemic seriously you would probably love this place and pre-pandemic it was awesome.
Absolutely love this place. Always open too which makes it a to go to when the world is on fire. Atleast you will be able to get eggs and coffee while you watch the world burn around you. Lol

The service is always great at Lancers and especially during COVID-19, always clean. The prices are very fair with perfect portions. As expected with restaurants during COVID-19, be ready for longer waiting times in case you dont get a reservation. If you want a great brunch location, you have found it at Lancers Diner!
