Very disappointed. I spent $37 including a tip and definitely did not get my money’s worth. I was all about supporting a black business but this place was not great at all. The jollof rice was okay. Plantains were not good at all, far from sweet. I threw them away. The goat meat that came with the plate was not a good portion size. It also was mostly bone and all cooked differently as though some was old and some was fresh. I drove far to go deliver this food to my friend and he was highly disappointed as well.

I visit here frequently, I actually love the cooking. Today I visited the establishment and the lady who’s normally here isn’t here. I ordered, my typical order of Jollof rice, extra Stew, extra beef. Today, the food had a very old taste, the meat and rice was dried out. I returned back to let Ken know the food tasted old. He insisted he probably just over fried the beef. He offered me chicken to replace the out dated beef. I get home later tonight to reheat up my leftovers. The chicken had mildew. I’m very disgusted. This is a small owned business, which is something/someone I rather support. I am not pleased with the service or food at this point.

Having lived in Nigeria as a kid many years ago, I was delighted when my brother discovered African Flavor while we were getting some refreshments from a mini mart, just near our university. Ola African Food Store is more than just a convenience store! It is our home cooked food, away from home.

Ok, this store is a fake. They are out of business . Went there today, I called 7 times just to make sure they are open. No one ever answered, stupidly I still went. On the door it says, yes we are open. But it had a huge lock on the door. By the side it says for rent call. Blah blah blah, this is what made me to believe they are out of business. The location itself is very sketchy. Please safe yourself the trip, dont even bother.

Ordered with Uber eats and it felt like they gave me left overs. The moi moi was super dry and they gave me 2 little pieces of meat. I was hugely disappointed. If you decide to eat here, go in so you can see what you order before you pay

Ordered jollof rice with spinach, plantain and beef. The rice looked and tasted bad, plantain was dry and gross and the beef was two small pieces of meat. The moi moi was dry. All in all I didn’t get what I ordered or expected at all. Waste of money.

Just ordered lunch, Jollof rice and Chicken, and the meal was so good. The portion was large too.

Update, the food is still Horrible. Do not waste your time here. I contacted the person who replied to my post. They agreed to have my order done again for free. I should have just kept my gas money because today was worse than my first order. The beef was completely burnt to a black crisp. I couldnt even cut it. Meat is eaten not thrown away, I wouldnt feed this to my enemy. I called the guy back to tell him this and he gets angry and hangs up on me. No customer service skills and bad food. Plus this isnt anything to call a store they have about 30 items in there, if that. Run far away!!! The prior posts are fake.Orginal post:0rdered here based on the reviews but this food was horrible. I ordered thru door dash and picked up my order on time. The plantations very extremely dry, trashed. The suya was three extremely small pieces of extremely dry so called chicken, trashed. The beef served with rice tasted like it had been out all day, trashed. Very,very hard. If I want beef jerky, I would have bought beef jerky. Jollof rice too dry. Worst $15 I have spent on food. They should give me a refund for this horrible cooking.

Their suya meat are chunky and very well spiced. Love it!

First of all, the telephone number is not a working #. That is not good for a business for customers not to be able to reach you. Two, I ordered via UberEats and my entire order was wrong and I couldnt even call to get it rectified!!!!
