I bought my first gun here and everyone was very accommodating and made the process super easy. I can’t remember the name of the guy who helped me select the gun (blackish grey hair and blue eyes) but he did a great job. The younger guy who sold me the gun did a great job. The lady at the desk at the gun range was cool. And Reid helped me get acquainted with my new firearm, he was awesome. I definitely would recommend.

We were a group of first timers visiting from out of state and internationally, and Reid welcomed us with open arms and VERY PATIENTLY walked us through basic gun safety and instructions. All four of us easily shot bullseyes consistently thanks to Reid. If you come here make sure to ask for the man himself!

One of my favorite gun ranges in Houston! Friendly and knowledgeable staff is always a great thing. Unlike other ranges, this one has nice fresh AC. Awesome selection of guns to rent (Mini Uzi) ;)

I am new to the world of firearms, having completed the CHL course a few years back, but am just getting around to making that purchase for home defense.Upon setting foot into Full Armor I was immediately assisted by Ben who was very attentive and interested in helping me make the right division for my needs. He even suggested a non-lethal first alternative to a gun, which I felt like was a really good suggestion considering the liabilities involved in gun ownership.Throughout the entire process these guys were very friendly and reassuring and took no issue with my newbie questions. I also dealt with another associate on the phone who helped me make the right choice for my elderly mother. Huge help!I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Made the decision to get a Semi-Auto Rifle. While I am comfortable with my 9mm pistol, I am a complete novice when it comes to long guns. Ben took way more time than he should have had to in order to go over the gun completely and make sure it was what I needed. I was very happy with the support he gave me. This plus a lifetime warranty on the gun and an in-house gunsmith make this a excellent place to shop.I have shopped at the Greek Goddess store down the road and its very nice, fancy show cases, etc. but I have to say that I felt more important to the Full Armor staff than I have ever felt at the other place.This plus the fact that it seems that most of the employees are vets, make it an easy choice that I will continue to do business with Full Armor.

My friend and I bought two guns from this store. Morgan helped us and he was super knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t feel like he was pushing me into anything, he provided information pertinent to our situations. I felt comfortable that he was selling a gun to me that was in my best interest. Absolutely ask for Morgan if you visit the store.

The check-in process is painfully slow and the staff appears to be oblivious to that fact.Also, no shotguns are allowed because its a fire hazard. WUT?Nice facilities, but Id call it a range of last resort. Go there if you dont have anywhere else to shoot.

I came to this place two times and introduced it to my boyfriend. He sent his gun to this place when he bought it online. They sold him a box of 50 9mm ammo for $109!!!!!!!!!though now ammo is pricy, but it is not that expensive!!! The something online price is around around 30. We decided never to come back to this place anymore.

They have a really great selection of weapons and all the extras . I enjoy just browsing all the cool stuff they have to offer.

A few of my friends and I went together to this gun range and we had so much fun. The employees there were extremely friendly and patient with us. Once they knew we were first time shooters, Reid — our instructor — was more than happy to train us on how we should hold the gun and have proper stance when firing.Reid has 10 years experience and helped us out greatly.Overall a wonderful experience and all of my friends loved this place. We will for sure be coming back for a great time.Thank you Reid for a great experience.

Thought it was just ok.A little less nice than a few competitors in Houston. But what really kinda made me drop the rating a little was customer service. While not terrible...they kinda seemed a little indifferent to the customer. Namely the guy at the knife counter near the door. He just seemed snide. Hard to actually put into words but even the other staff just seemed indifferent. There was a black dude there though that knew his stuff and was prolly the most professional there and very courteous.

I walked in and wanted to ask a few questions fully intending to buy something. I planned to see what they had, do my research, and buy tomorrow. The issue is that these employees are commission based and that means that if you arent spending money with them at that moment, they wont spend the time to help you which is more or less verbatim what the employee said. I said Id prefer to stay under $1,200 for an AR since its mostly for home defense and I was given the ultimatum of buy this $1,000 AR or itll be gone tomorrow and left in the dark. The moral of the story is that if you know what youre doing and what you want then this is a good business for you. If youre a new firearms owner or just have questions then a smaller business which can give you more attention is better. Definitely dont give them a sign that you arent buying today if you want good service. If an employee sees this, the number one thing of working sales or commission is not pushing away the presold customers.

I went in with the intentions to practice my 2nd amendment. Thanks to a gentleman who goes by Morgan, I was able to accomplish that, and all within the same day. I told him my experience, my budget, and all through out the process, he was very helpful. Very respectful. I will definitely go back for future purchases. Thanks Morgan for the help once again.

Full Armor is my new go to spot to shoot. It’s not as big as other ranges with 20 lanes and a fancy setup but that just means there isn’t a need for a higher price tag to shoot there. The staff is excellent, the lanes are bigger than other places. The cost is low and did I mention the staff is great. Ventilation is great.

Great service. Friendly and knowledgeable. These guys know what they are doing and have a great selection of firearms and accessories. Great place to get advice on an AR build or any other custom firearm. Want the latest and greatest accessory, they can hook you up, help you test and get familiar with your new purchase.James and his staff are a hoot. They also offer training. Kudos to Matt, Barcode and the rest of the staff. They also have a great selection of rentals available.As a side note, they have their own machine shop and James is currently using titanium in some of his custom AR builds. Want a ultra light AR?He also has one of the coolest hobby shops I have ever seen. Biggest collection of model jet aircraft builds I have ever seen.He is also starting a custom automotive graphics and carbon fiber business to accessorize that special ride or grocery getter. Range instructors are available, really fun to shoot handguns, full automatics and semi autos. Wide array of inventory of guns to purchase along with customized equipment. They also offer CHL training classes and classes to make you safe, effective, and skilled operator for these powerful tools.

This was my first firearms purchase. Ben was very knowledgeable about everything on the shelves and answered everything I needed to know. Got there at 10am on Saturday. Other than the class that was finishing up a firearm training, it was pretty much just me. Small place but easy to get in and out through the narrow spaces. Spent about $70 on the bay with a box of 9mm and some eye protection. Not bad! They have a pretty nice set up, small spaces but once you get in your bay, your good.

It was nice. My first time shooting. We (I and a friend) spent $ 100.00 to shoot with two different guns and 100 x 9 mm ammo.

This was my first time ever coming into a gun range or holding a Gun and i enjoyed it. I was really nervous about it but Reid was a great teacher and helped me calm down and understand how to handle the gun. Well recommended I went for my birthday in December 2020

I went in today thinking about trading a gun of mine to get setup with a new handgun. I was guided through the guns in stock by Morgan, who set me up politely, knowledgeably, and quickly. Ive shot here in the past, the range is very small but still better than most nearby ranges in Houston.

I highly recommend this gun shop and range. We purchased a new firearm and were given free use of the range to try our new handgun. I had not shot in over two years and was very rusty and nervous. Unprompted Brandin came over and offered to give me pointers which made a huge difference for me. He is very calm, professional and a truly nice person. My Husbands bday is tomorrow, but we decided to go today, 3/24/18, for our very 1st time shooting at a gun range. We both had such a fun time! It was our first so we did need instruction and let me tell you that Raymond was a fun, funny, safe instructor. And engaged us step by step on how to prep and shoot safely. So we thank him so much for awesome customer service along with the other staff. Very reasonable prices for renting guns, gear, and ammo. Thanks so much FAGR! :) 5 Stars for sure. Booked a for a party of 8 and had a blast. Reid was our instructor and made the experience so much fun and informative. We were all new shooters and he was really patient with us. HIGHLY recommend!

This range is dirty and they charge $34 for remanufactured ammunition that comes in a ziplock bag. I had multiple problems with this ammo. To be honest there are way nicer ranges for the money.

This was my first time and Reed showed me everything I need to know on how to fire a weapon. He was amazing and I had a great time. Would certainly recommend this place for professionals as well as newbies

Reid was extremely helpful in the gun range improving my consistency to hit a specific target. Very satisfied with the outcome after that short lesson. My overall experience at the shop and range was amazing. I had my first lever action rifle shooting here and I got to try the Winchester 30-30. I normally do not post reviews, because I have had such a bad time being a man of color and walking into gun shops. This being the first review I have ever posted I must say that the gentleman that helped me check out behind the counter was the nicest guy and he answered my questions in detail. I am appreciative of that man for treating me as a person and I will be going back to spend my money and if they do not have what I want I will wait until they get it!

Crying. My husband is threatening to divorce me. He said he cant believe Im that gullible. He said I paid way too much. He said I should have waited until he came back to town (he drives trucks over-the-road). Im so upset now. He send me websites of the same guns and accessories for much lower costs. I feel so foolish.

Awesome service. Called Kai prior and they were really informative. Nice shop w nice products. Didn’t get to test out the range but bought a nice shotgun. Keep in mind, guns as or right now are a serious hot commodity bc of COVID. Just expect to pay much more than the usual asking price of guns. Besides that awesome spot. Friendly staff.

Place is nice and clean with lots of rental options. Can bring as many guns as you like for the same price. If youre new to shooting, this is the perfect place to start. They have a very friendly staff and also have a Rewards program. Highly recommend.

Me and my nephew came in today for the first time. When we first walked we were welcomed and greeted, which is important to us because we have rights just as much as everyone else. The staff was helpful, Brandin is great and answered all my questions. The staff was really helpful and I appreciate that. It was great to see all different races working there because that made me feel even more comfortable. To anyone apprehensive about going to a gun range and feeling not welcomed, you WONT feel that here. Ill be back to get my license too!

This was our first time here. My wife wanted to go to the range for our 22nd anniversary. I called my normal range, there was a 2 hour wait and they didnt have any of the rifle ammo I needed. I called full armor and they had the ammo I needed.the staff is super friendly and the store is great! The range was clean and well filtered. Called to see if they could mount a scope for me. Said they could so I drove 30 minutes to be told no one knew what I was talking about and they wouldnt be able to until Monday or later. Should have listened to a buddy of mine that said to stay far away from this place since they have some shady business practices and they price gouge. I do not recommend this place at all. Good prices. The range gets pretty loud and smoky when its busy, even more so than most indoor ranges I have visited. The staff has been friendly and professional during all my visits.

Came with my wife to the gun range her first time employees are very knowledgeable and Jonathan help my wife with her first time shooting a gun. He taught her the proper stance and the proper way to handle hey Glock 19. What kind of gun store doesn’t sell ammo unless you shoot at there range? Won’t be coming here again.I walked in and asked where I could find ammo for handguns and they sent me to the range. They were going to sell me some ammo but said that they couldn’t because I didn’t shoot at their range. This place is about money, money, money. Don’t even go into this store if you are wanting good pricing on anything. Most of the people are nice though.

Greg, our instructor, was very knowledgeable and thorough. Very good training and information on gun practices, habits, the laws, and beyond. Good customer service! Great for beginners as well.He maintained control of the class. Had good engagement and was patient with those of us that needed a little more assistance in passing the shooting test. I felt comfortable and like he wanted me to get it, he went the extra mile to work with me one on one.

Reid was my instructor last night. He was fabulous... he was patient with my skill set and gave me the confidence to shoot with accuracy. Reid is an awesome instructor!

Pretty simple. Arrive at the door and youll be greeted with a smile. Nice helpful staff. Clean indoor range. The best thing is the lanes have excellent sound barriers. I typically hate the sound in indoor ranges. I didnt even notice the sound even though it was packed. Nice clean place with fresh air.

This is one for my favorite gun stores in town. I’ll go out of my way to drive here to get what I need. Morgan helped me out with finding accessories for my gun and showed my how to use their guns. Definitely recommend!

$50 for 20 rounds of 9mm hollow point. $2.50 per round. I realize theres an extremely high demand for personal protection ammo right now, but gouging on this level is absurd. Ive been a happy customer at full armor in the past and made a point to do business there because theyre veteran owned, but theyll never see another dime from me. Athena is FAR nicer and theyre not gouging their customers on ammo. Even Carters Country is charging FAR less for defense ammo (bought both 9mm & .45 hollow point for under $30/box yesterday).

This shop is the go to shop if you want truly extravagant hard to find firearms. At some point the even had a full auto MPK which is extremely hard to get (and expensive). They have alot hard to find AR components as well as suppressors for most Calibre guns. They have a fully capable workshop to deal with fixes and even have a catalogue of custom finishes (cerakote, plating) they offer for various prices.Also they have a firing range in store as well CHL/LTC classes offered.
