Seem to always have go to items for everyday customers and quite a selection of higher end items for people wanting something a bit better. Its a small store but theres a huge selection on their site with quick pick up or shipping. The service, gunsmithing and general advice is second to none.

The whole crew here is knowledgeable and helpful. If youre humble enough to ask for guidance, theyre willing to teach. The shop itself has a wide range of accessories, a decent selection of parts, and the necessities when it comes to firearms. I definitely recommend checking this place out if youre in the area and wanting anything 2A related.

I purchased a few boxes of .22LR. The younger gentleman on the phone was nice, however when I arrived the older gentleman behind the counter was not very welcoming. He held my ID for no less than a minute glaring me up and down, he wasnt very cordial at all and didnt seem to want to make conversation or be asked any questions. I thought it would be nice to help out a small local business since theyre only down the street, but I think Ill just keep going to Walmart.

I was visiting from out of state. The staff was super helpful and well informed. They were willing and able to get things done with a complicated deal.Great - High Quality Merchandise!!

Store is close to my house so went there to check them out and bougt a Surefire Warcomp. Competitive pricing and amazing customer service, the staffs were super informative, they answered everything i had in mind with accurate information (firearms and NFA items). Definitely will bring my business to Texas Tactical Gear in the future.

Bad service, bad over all experience. Had 2k to spend but no acknowledgement was made and i asked to see a firearm and was denied. Wouldnt spend a time or money. Person was rude.

Overall a great experience and I will continue to shop local with TTG.Pros-Lots of guns in stock, including some that other gun shops simply cannot get. I credit this to Jens tenacity in searching for inventory online every day.-Reasonable pricing. Although not the cheapest, they frequently have what you want hanging on the wall and sometimes it is worth it to me to pay a bit more. When you factor in FFL fees and shipping, that can come out even.-I like buying local when I can.-All but one employee I have worked with have been great.-Sent me to a great guy at another shop in the same complex who did my photographs and fingerprints for my ATF paperwork.Cons-The only con is one employee that sometimes works the register. The guy has been unusually rude to me on several occasions, one of which he actually snapped at me for paying cash. I would normally turn around and leave, but Jen has been nothing but professional, so I let it slide. I have not seen him there again.I will definitely keep coming back.

Dont waist your time in this place, Worst customer service ever. I went in and said good morning & was never acknowledged.I asked if they had a 300 Blackout and a gentleman very rude said no then I was looking at the display and another gentleman asked what I was looking for. I told him 300 Blackout and the 1st gentleman very rudely yelled I ALREADY TOLD HIM WE DONT HAVE IT.Now I know why the store was empty. Customer service was a joke

I had a SRT installed on my sig a while back and just had them push some sights out. Always professional and knowledgable. If youre getting ready to build a new AR this is the place to go. Everything they sell is top shelf and in stock. No waiting on notifications from distributors. Brands like geissele Daniel defense, bcm, eotech, trijicon, aero, etc. Will certainly be grabbing some stuff for my new 11.5 build

Great shop if you are an AR/Glock guy.The guy that works there is very nice and helpful.They have pretty much every mainstream part youd need for an AR15 build and to accessorize a completed rifle.Unless there is a specialty item or deal online they cant order, I will be buying all my parts from them going forward.

I have a customer here for over 5 years and have been satisfied until now. I have a pistol that has been getting assembled for over 5 months. I have tried contacting the owner for the last 4 months to check on the progress and ask why it takes so long, but I have never heard anything back. I have emailed, called, and went to the store several times and no one has contacted me. The work they do is quality but dont be surprised if you end up with this same issue.

Not a bad little store. They focus more on online sales but have a decent store front with a huge selection. They even had lancer AWM in clear not smoke in stock in 20 and 30rd. Thats not easy to find. Only downside is location other than that prices are good staff is super helpful and friendly and have quite a large selection of items in stock.

These guys fixed my ar15 while I shopped around in the store. 30min tops. Great customer service and great prices. I would recommend them to anyone modifying or purchasing a gun. I rode from spring to get there. Thanks guys.

I recently ordered a McMillan tac300 action with trigger for $1145. When I got to their store to pick up my property, the box was already open, and there were scratches on top of the action and two dings on the bolt. They said they opened it to make sure it was what I ordered; which I dont understand because I never told them exactly what I ordered. What they really did was open it up and play with it, while they got kooky and tactical with each other. They are a joke, and have no respect for other peoples property. $1145, and already scratched up before I get it in my hands. Ill make sure no one I know does business with these amateurs.

Looked all over the internet trying to track down a specific upper and lower combination, after becoming frustrated with all the searching and only finding everything to be back ordered and unavailable I decided to simply have a local shop order the set I wanted for FFL reasons. I called Texas Tactical, told them what I was looking for and was surprised to hear they had exactly what I was looking for on hand. I picked it up the same day, staff was more than helpful and the transaction was quick and easy. Highly recommend them for any firearm needs.

After calling all around Houston and surrounding area without any luck. I made the call to Texas Tactical. They had the Arsenal SM-13 IN STOCK WHEN NO ONE ELSE IN THE CITY DID! I have also purchased a Noveske gen III BILLET reciever set from them as well. No one else had them in stock in Houston at the time aswell. Love this store

Great customer service!! I just bought some accessories for my ar-15 and the guy was very helpful and took his time helping me out I didn’t feel rushed while making my decisions highly recommend them!!

Asked them for an NFA transfer 15 plus months ago. First they screw up my paperwork and after 7 months we have to redo it. Then they got my paperwork back 5 months ago and never informed me of it. If I wouldnt have called I would have never known. On top of that, they have been rude and insulting every time I have spoken with them. Not only will I never do business with them again, I will make sure none of my gun loving friends ever does either.
