Physically you cant tell the car was in a wreck so they did a great job repairing the damage. However there was a small wiring issue that took several months for them to fix and they even had to pass it off to the dealership who was very careless and let it sit for several weeks not even knowing why it was there. It took 4 and 1/2 months to get the car finished which considering there is a pandemic isnt that big of a deal but definitely frustrating. With that said, Ive since opened the trunk and realized the tire repair kit has been stolen and this is a car that was less than a year old so it was definitely there before taking it to this collision center.So if you use this place, check everything to make sure they didnt steal anything

I do not have enough good things to say about Ramon Rosales and the fantastic job they did on my cars exterior bodywork. From day 1 to the day of pickup, he was professional, courteous, honest, understanding and dependable. It is people like Ramon that would keep me returning to Joe Myers (Toyota) Collision. He provided timely updates, got my vehicle in promptly, and attentive to my personal concerns and vehicles needs- and beautiful interior detailing upon pickup was the cherry on top!! If there were 20 stars, I would rate Ramon and Joe Myers Collision 20 stars. Thank you Ramon and thank you Joe Myers Collision!! Most certainly recommended!!

Dropped my car off here due to an accident, and Amanda was great! The whole collision team was great. Very helpful, super knowledgeable! Amanda was not just business the whole time either, but took the time to get to know me a bit throughout the process and our chat when picking up my car was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this collision center to anyone, and Amanda should be the one you request to be your advisor! Joe Myers hasnt failed me in the past 10 years - dealership or collision! 10/10 would always recommend.

Ok so I just cut & pasted from another customers below post because it is close to exactly word for word what I have just experienced. I won’t be back. BTW I could hear Amanda arguing with a customer during the wait which was a nice touch:I came in at 8:00 and at 40 minutes min. Amanda never even came out to acknowledge me and come out to see me. No other clients were there so it was not busy at all. I told the girl at front desk(who was really sweet) that I was leavingI guess either they were not interested in my business or they are fortunate of having too much work and not needing more.

I came in at 8:30 am and it took 45 min. for an appraiser to acknowledge me and come out to see me. No other clients were there so it was not busy at all. It was until i told the front desk that I was leaving that she went to the back to get someone.After the appraiser looked at my vehicle she said give me a few and I will type it up for you. I waited and waited and she never came out with it. I asked the front desk to give her my email to send it to me and 72 hours later i still have not received it. I called after 48 hours And they said they were going to send it and never got it!It is sad because the actual body work they do is really good (based on previous experience) but so it is. at the other 100 collision centers around town.I guess either they were not interested in my business or they are fortunate of having too much work and not needing more.Thanks, Ausberto

I had a few dings in my truck that needed to be repaired. Gene, the manager treated me as if I was a long time customer even though we just met. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. The truck was repaired in half the time they quoted. Excellent work, made it back to brand new condition. Thank you all so much for the great care.

Zero if possible. Miscellaneous issues after repair: Glass scratched twice, missing screws, broken window buttons, chipped paint, & broken arm rest all while under Joe Myers care. Attempts to skirt fault on all even after showing video evidence following the crash that led me there. Do not bring your vehicle to this shop. They do not return your vehicle in good condition and attempt to hide anything you may not know about.After all of that, they still refused to replace the door panel where they broke the arm rest. $700 door panel out of my pocket because they broke it. I’d take them to small claims court if I had an attorney on hand.Edit: oh and to top it off, yesterday I noticed a lug nut out... only thing holding the lug nut in was the hub cap. That’s what I get for letting them do a tire rotation and an oil change during their “service”... ARGHHH!!!!!!

My truck was suppose to ready on Monday, I talked to Amanda on Saturday who said it would be ready Monday (never said anything about waiting on a rim) get a text on Monday morning saying it will be ready Tuesday because they were waiting on a rim to come, Contact my insurance adjuster who said he spoke to her on Friday and she never mentioned anything about a rim either, never heard from them on Tuesday, contact my adjuster who then contacted them on Wednesday and was told it would be ready Wednesday at 2pm and they would contact me but I never heard from anyone so I called so see if it was ready, was told I needed to talk to Amanda, that they couldnt tell me if it was ready, sent my call to Amanda where I hit her voicemail, I called back 2 hrs later to be told she was in a meeting, so I decided to drive up there to see what was going on, pull in the parking lot and my truck was sitting there completed, went inside and was asked how could they help me, I stated while pointing at my truck, thats my truck let me my deductible and get my truck, was told I had to wait on Amanda, she finally comes up and says my adjuster was suppose to notify me when my truck was ready, but how would he know if they never contacted him for him to contact me, then she ask whats the problem and I explained to her that they drop the ball, she ask who did I speak to as if she never spoke to me nor texted me.....the work done was great! But the service from the front office is horrible!

My car was stolen on Jan 31st 2020 and recovered about 10 days later. Unfortunately i left my key inside the car; therefore i needed it towed to a dealership to have a replacement key made. Not being from Houston i googles places and Joe Myers popped up. Can I tell you it was a mistake! My car took roughly around 6-7 weeks to be ready. The day i showed up to pick it up IT WAS NOT READY. When i FINALLY got the car back i noticed items missing, i then asked the guy working on my car what happened to them. No one could answer me. I then was brought to what i assume was the managers office and spoke with two gentlemen who assured me “this never happens and you have our word we will follow up on it”. Me being the trusting person i am believed it. They couldn’t reach the guy they do business with because of Covid and was told to give them time. I called back once things were lifted and when the state tried to go back to a little normal. No one knew what i was talking about and it was all oblivious to them. I was told the guy who worked on my car was no longer employed with the company (he had also confirmed the items being there). So basically there isn’t anything they can do. I felt as if they thought i was lying, for what reason i still don’t understand. I guess for me, it was my fault for trusting them. I had already had my car stolen and i was so happy that my purse was still there; i just couldn’t get in the car because i needed the key and to find out it was taken from there is just unfortunate. I rather the individuals who took my car have taken it. Lasting impressions go along way, I’ll never recommend this place. My only tip for anyone not familiar with this place do your research and unfortunately someone’s “word” isn’t much to go by these days. I was very disappointed with my first and last experience with Joe Myers.

I wish I could give them more stars. Being that they are a preferred shop with my insurance I assumed there wouldnt be any issues. Poor choice on my part. Communication was almost nonexistent. Each person blamed someone else. It took over 2 weeks for my parts to come in and then when it was done they couldnt get the camera calibrated. It was a mess. Im glad its over with.

Every time I check in to see status of when the car will be finished. “Next Friday” “Next week”. It’s been 1 full month since the first “next ____”. Been 2 months since my car been with them. It’s ridiculous. First and last time I’ll be bringing my car here. Just go somewhere else and save yourself time and hassle.

I had hail damage on my brand new Kia Stinger and was a little worried about where to take it. I ended up at Joe Myers and I am really glad that I made that decision. Advisor was Ashley Mounts, and she was wonderful. She was super friendly and knowledgeable, and she assured me that everything would be taken care of. Een over 2 weeks now waiting for an answer on warranty work they already stated they would take care of. I have called every day 2-3 times a day, leaving messages for Jonathan with no call backs. Left messages for their body shop manager, Josh, still no call back. Receptionist said she would stick notes on their computers so they would have to see them, still no call. Do I have to drive up there to actually get someone to resolve this issue?

Did not touch it for 6 weeks. It just sat there after insurance company approved repairs. Towed in on 12/16/18 and didnt get it back until March. Had to go up there to get someone to answer questions or return calls. The head 2 guys were apparently fired during this time. Even my insurance people said they got a lot of complaints about them. This place is a joke and a bad example of what Joe Myers stands for. They blamed it on anything and everything but themselves. We will see if the repairs hold up. Go elsewhere. You will regret going here.

Heed my advice and don’t use this body shop worst experience ever! The staff is not very friendly, been trying to get the leak in the van fixed for four years turn right onto that appeared after it was in their shop for rear end. It is clear there is water damage in the cargo area yet because they can’t find the exact leak they can’t fix it. The van was not leaking before we were rear ended so clearly the repairs were not done correctly or completely. Finally giving up and chalking it up as a loss the vehicle is worth less the way it is so we are going to need to trade it in. Will never bring my vehicle here again!

I have to agree with the negative reviews. Communication was abysmal at best. I had to drive up and sit in their waiting room to get a status. That said, it appears to be quality work.Joe Myers, add some automation to your site to help address your communication issues. My receipt had a ton of information on the cost of your services, you could throw a little money into your website and give your customers a status.

I was involved in an accident, requested Tow or storage facility take my truck to Joe Myers. After I was released from hospital I was so worried about some jewelry that I had in my truck. Ashley Mounts was my advisor and immediately assured me she would get my jewelry for me and lock it up until I was able to get to Joe Myers. Ashley kept me updated on the specific days as promised. I never had to bother her she kept me updated every other day and had my truck completed on target date. I was so worried my truck wouldn’t be the same but she assured me my damage was minimal and made me feel at ease with what I had to look forward to. I have to say she provided excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend Ashley and Joe Myers Collision for your repairs! Hope this helps anyone considering an awesome experience with a great collision place!

Have to give the body shop management and front desk staff good marks. Had to pay the bill for my sons first accident (minor thankfully). The original written estimate and final bill were different by almost 20% due to a mistake on a part cost. They made it good. That does not happen much anymore.

Had my Kia Sportage towed from my home which is 5.5 miles from Joe Myers Collision. THEY CHARGED ME $275 TOWING !!! FOR 5.5 MILES TOWING A KIA WHICH WAS DRIVEABLE . I only had it towed here since my wife doesnt have a drivers license . I figured with local tow truck fees for 5-6 miles is about $50-$80.... Price Gouging at its finest .Im sure since i told them i would be using my insurance that they went ahead and overcharged to scam my insurance out of money.

First time I had my 2011Ford car in their shop it took them 8 weeks to finish it! I had to put it in their shop again 2 days AFTER I got it back..Because they didnt FIX it correctly..Here it is 8 weeks later and I am Still waiting on it! Then they have the Nerve to say they were waiting to hear back from My insurance company which is complete HOG WASH...8 weeks guys really Going into 9 now!! If I didnt Have to take My car here I wouldnt have ..BUT Ford makes it harder to take your car anywhere else to fix certain elements. (Thats a ripoff in itself)! This place is the worst place u can bring your vehicle for repairs hands down. They sell Toyotas Fords and THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of other vehicles but yet claim they cant afford to put u in a courtesy rental car while repairing your vehicle and I think that is just down right greedy of the owner with all the different car companies they own. I took my car there because State Farm said that is who they deal with well if these are the only company State Farm deals with then I need to quickly change to another insurance company because this place is the worst Ive ever had to deal with. I dont own another vehicle and Im not embarrassed to say I cant afford a rental car, althought I shouldnt have too since they at Joe Meyers Ford admitted to using defective paint from some company they used and my vehicle literally looks like it has been sand downed with sand paper it is a total disgrace that I have to drive around in my vehicle looking the way it is because they used defective paint and they wont give me a courtesy rental and while I was in their office one gal did tell me they give courtesy rental to whom they choose too. I just want my vehicle painted thats all with a courtesy rental since the defective paint is what they put on my vehicle. State Farm wont take an responsibility either. I asked if they would pay for me to bring it somewhere of my choosing of course they said no and mind u I have been with the same insurance company for 40 yrs this yr. u would think they would value theirs clients better than they do but Ive only had this problem with repairs only in Texas as for as a well known dealership and well known insurance company. And Im still waiting on the company head to call me on its only been a year think God I didnt hold my breath. I gave them a 1 because there is no zero.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Supposed to be a Ford Certified repair center lol well I hope Ford figures out what a joke this place is. Ive spent $250 out of pocket for parts that are missing/cheap non OEM parts/parts that are still broken. Yet, paid for by USAA to be replaced with Ford part #s and labor. This piss poor managed shop is an absolute disgrace to the Joe Myers family. If you care about quality work, integrity, customer service, save yourself a nightmare and go somewhere else! I spent my hard earned money on a new Focus for my wife in 2015 at Joe Myers. I trusted this facility to make it like new again. I gave them multiple chances to make it right, but after finding more issues today doing an oil change, I have to warn you. Stay far away!

Terrible shop to deal with. After talking to my insurance company, I made an apointment with Joe Myers to drop off my truck for repair fender.I was told that they needed to disassemble to find out how long the repair would take and they would give me a call. But, I did not receive any phone call from them so I stooped by 5 days later I dropped my truck. When I asked the manager to take a look at my truck to see the process, he kind hesitated and tried to convince me that my truck was already stripped down at their shop. When I walked to their backyard, I saw my truck sitting there the exact same as 5 days ago. A mechanic started telling me Oh we ordered the new fender yesterday, so it can be arriving any minute then we can fix it in one day. I just picked up my truck key and left. I just wasted time and money on rent-A-Car for 5 days. They never apologized and gave me a dirty look when I drove off.

Follow Up!First time in the shop was April 28th was in there OVER 2 1/2 Months ..Got it back in July ..2 days later Back in the shop again for another 9 weeks! Got it back in September...Back in the shop again!! After Repeatedly telling them to check it thoroughly BEFORE we picked it up! Now 2 weeks later..They found another problem so now they are going back to get another check from My insurance Company to cover these charges!! Their Mechanics dont know Jack Squat! 1st time in We told them to check EVERYTHING from Top to Bottom ..We were assured they did! Well 2 Days after we got the car back it stalled out on us and the ac went out and was making a terrible noise! Took it back and we again told them to check it top to bottom we figured after 9 weeks in the shop it should be running smooth! NOPE got it back and we went on a 45 minute drive and the engine light came on! Back to the shop and now here we are going on 2 More weeks in the shop! waiting on the insurance company! Thats a BUNCH of BS!!

Bad experience, it took much longer than expected to repair our truck at the Collision Center. We thought this will be the best choice since our vehicle is a Ford brand. There was no communication from them at all. I had to show up at the shop to be taken seriously. We will never come back or refer any body back to their place of business. I was told that since it took longer that they will take care of the days we had to keep the rental longer than the insurance allowed, and the rental company still charged my credit card. Now we have been back and forth with the Enterprise Rental one month and half later and still no refund!! Avoid this place at all possible.

I dont recommend anybody to fix his or her car with them.very bad customer service, they are rude, they kept my car for 22 days to just fix the back passenger door while the estimation time is 5 days, and i received the car with scratches which was not on my car before,they have deal with enterprise rental car so joe myers takes a long time to fix my car that force u to pay alot of money for enterprise .eventually be careful guys and search for a good body shop before u go to joe myers collision center

There was a point in time when I was satisfied with this Collision Center but they have had a change in management and workers and it shows. I have had my car worked on here twice and each time I have had to take it back due to horrible paint jobs. My front bumper of my car was so poorly painted that it looks like I have been in another accident due to the paint peeling off all over. I would have done better having a mom and pop shop fix it. The company says they guarantee their work but of course that means you are totally inconvenienced left without a rental car. Their customer service is horrible and for me to take the time to write a review means they really upset me. They get their money from their customers and insurance companies when they want it but produce horrible work and only want to fix the problem at their convenience. Take your vehicle some place else!Shan

Tow my car here on Nov 24th 2018 because they work with my insurance. After two weeks without any calls or updates I decided to called them. I called twice and only get the voice mail. After the third call I finally be able to the advisor only to find out they still waiting for part and promised to called me when the part come in. Waited another week, still no update. I called back two times in two days and go straight to voicemail. The third time i was able to talked to the front desk (the adviser still haven’t call me back yet) and they have no idea where to find the advisor?!? All they can tell me is that the car scheduled to be done in Dec 14th. Waited until Dec14th and still no call from the shop. I called them on Dec 15th and the front desk told me the advisor is off, the car has been rescheduled to be done in Dec 20th?!? My insurance only cover rental in 30 days and I expect the car should be fixed in a week or two weeks max since it doesn’t have a lot of damages. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR HERE AGAIN, ALSO WILL ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO BRING THEIR CARS HERE, THE SHOP IS A JOKE AND SHOULD NOT BE IN SERVICE BUSINESS.

I was steered here by Allstate. If Id had a choice, Id have gone elsewhere, especially considering the experience I had.Everything seemed OK upon my arrival and the initial assessment of the damage to my car. I wanted some additional work done for some damage unrelated to the accident, so I requested a quote on that. That would cost about $300, I was told, by a gentleman named Tim OKeeffe. So I said OK.The estimate for the repairs for unrelated damage eventually came at about $500, but I still said OK. The car was new (!) and I wanted it new again.So the car went through repairs. It went through what they call a QA process. They said it was done... and here is where the nightmare began.I went to pick up my car, and performed the walkaround - and was disgusted by the experience I had.First, I noted that one of the headlights was bulging from the front of the car on the side that had received damage, but that it was perfectly flush on the other side. His response? Well, those parts pretty much snap in... To me, they were snapping in to incompetent body work.Second, I noted that on a corner of the front bumper, the paint had been completely removed. When I pointed this out, I got yet another excuse; well, sometimes these parts come with rough edges from the manufacturer...When I said that both of these obvious flaws were unacceptable, he told me Well, this isnt an easy fix and he stared at me like I was supposed to take sympathy and accept this disgustingly sub-par work. I wasnt hearing it, and said fix it.So the same day it was supposedly fixed. I was called to pick up my car. It was about closing time there, so I dropped off my rental, foolishly expecting that the problem would be solved.It wasnt. The headlight was still bulging, and as for the paint missing on the corner of the bumper... Someone had apparently applied some nail polish to it. In such a sloppy manner that it coated both the hood and the rubber gasket between the bumper and the hood.When contacted for a survey on my experience with them, I answered honestly. I was disgusted by my experience, and would tell anyone - friend or foe - to avoid this nightmare.I was then contacted personally by Tim OKeeffe, who expressed transparently artificial regret that my experience was less than satisfactory. I told him I was busy and would call him back. I didnt. He didnt call me back, either.Screw Allstate. Screw Joe Myers Ford.

THIS COLLISION CENTER WILL MAKE YOU WISH THE CAR WAS TOTALED ANYWAY.Worst decision ever to go to this shop. 8k worth of repairs after an accident that damaged my front driver side. They were extremely slow and did terrible work. The first day I picked up the car and drove it home it there was a heavy clunking sound in the front driver side wheel area. They said it was a shield that wasnt tightened. The next time I got on the highway the car shut down on the highway. This was the next day I got it back from the suppose shield not being tightened fix. I brought it in Saturday. The guys popped the hood in front of me and the air intake system wasnt put together correctly. Then, they send me home with the car and say, that had to be it. Go test it and let us know. Yeah. As a consumer I should test their work right? Nope. Car still wasnt fixed. Im stranded limping home at 15 mph from Crosby to Jersey Village. They had it for five more days and said it was fixed. Yes. The car didnt shut down on the highway. The manager said he was so confident in the repair he would drive his grandchildren in it. Most people would trust a man who said that to another man. Though he said it to my wife so the analogy isnt exactly spot on. We had to drive to Wisconsin the next day. We drove to Wisconsin and the car vibrated badly the entire 1400 trip. Like a tire was badly out of balance. That same week that we made drive, the transmission mount that was damaged in the car accident weeks ago snapped and the transmission landed on the axle. We were stranded in the middle of no where. The manager told me specifically, we didnt invoice you for it. Thats not our problem. Really? Not a man of his word. A lying two face arrogant man. He told us it wasnt damaged in the accident. The mechanic up north that worked on the car said that there was absolutely no way that the transmission mount would break due to normal wear in tear. Its structural and build to last forever, because Im sure Ford would be really proud of their work if they produced cars that had a normal wear and tear piece like a transmission mount. Right?Imagine if this would have broke on the way from Texas to Wisconsin at 80 mph. My family of five would have probably died. Do you think that Mike the manager cared that he put my family at risk. Not at all. I never got an apology from him nor did he offer to reimburse any of our expenses due to the second car accident. Allstate took care of us, because this shop didnt care. The story doesnt end. I get home and Im going to open the door and the handle breaks. The same door they worked on. Imagine that. The worst workmanship and pride in their work ever. Oh..then to top it all off the upper control arm goes bad prematurely because of the original accident and transmission collapsing on the axle. Do you think I even bothered to take my care into them? Absolutely not. I paid for all the rest out of pocket.IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TAKING YOUR CAR TO THEM OR ITS BEEN TOWED HERE, ASK YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE OR BETTER YET JUST TOTAL THE CAR. THIS COLLISION CENTER WILL MAKE YOU WISH THE CAR WAS TOTALED ANYWAY.Sincerely,Clinton Huffman

BODY SHOP Experience HORRIBLE. When you go to the dealership you expect to get the best body work done and get everything fixed correctly right? Well I turned my truck over to their collision center back in January and they still have not fixed my truck correctly in the middle of April I had mentioned to them that I do not have alot of time and will not be able to come back if the truck is damaged. They left my front strut broken and not fixed because the said it was not part of the collision. When the person that hit my truck slammed me head on to the curb which IS in contact with the wheel and strut thus making my own point that it is part of this accident. THEY ONLY FIX WHAT THAY CHOOOSE AND IS IN THE BODAY SHOPS INTEREST because PROGRESSIVE GIVES THEM SO MUCH BUSINESS JOE MYERS BODY SHOP HAS TO BE QUITE. this comes from the manager that fixed my truck and explained to me why they cannot fix anything else IN ADDITION I told them since the beginning that my axle did not look right from the GET GO and they waived it off as the bed not being aligned correctly. When I talked to KEN BROOKES THE APPRAISER FOR JOE MYERS he said they would not work on my truck anymore that they fixed what they had to and that was that. the only way I see hurting them is to tell you the truth about getting your vehicle fixed here at the dealership where supposedly they do everything RIGHT. The insurance company works with them on getting the minimal work done possible because the manager quoted they get 250,000 dollars in work per year just from progressive alone. POINT IS IF YOU WANT THINGS DONE RIGHT, TAKE IT TO SOMEONE WHO WILL FIGHT FOR YOUR CAR/TRUCK being fixed right. They don’t do silly commercials about progressive where they say once you get in an accident, they will RIP YOU OFF so they can be the NUMBER ONE INSURANCE COMPANY that has all the money in the world to blind you of what really happens with commercials. (((JOE MYERS BODY SHOP WILL TAKE YOU FOR YOUR INSURNCE MONEY AND FIX ONLY WHAT THEY WISH OR FEEL IS RIGHT THEN GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND WHEN YOU ASK THEM ABOUT SOMTHING THEY DONT DO RIGHT))))) I’m taking my truck to get fixed by another body shop under my own money.
