Sort of Quick. 30-45 minutes in total. Just went in for a wrap on my passenger window. Made it through these crazy 40-60 mph Wind Gusts.

Had windshield replaced. New windshield was cracked when I came to pick up my vehicle....apparently from the install. Appears they were hoping I didnt see it. And then was going to try to reschedule me for a warranty replacement at a later date.Then I was given a hard time about getting a refund until they installed a windshield that was not cracked.No one wanted to take initiative to resolve the issue or contact a manager until Charise did.Once she got the manager on the phone and started working towards a resolution then everyone that had been sitting there listening for the last hour wanted to start trying to help.One guy Alex even took it as far as walking out side with me....talking over me....and acting like he was the reason it was finally getting resolved. Even stated he was a senior employee there......if you are a senior employee and wanted to help with some pretend experience then why didnt you get up out your chair at first?He was so worried about taking credit for fixing the situation that he wasnt even listening to me. Yet he was one of the main people sitting at a desk on the right just watching the entire hour.Only when Charise got the manager on the phone and it looked like they were about to fix it did he and the others start trying to help.Charise deserves to be promoted.I wanted to compliment Charise at the corporate level but she prefered I didnt. So Im posting it here.She actually put the customer first and was the ONLY reason I did not file a BBB complaint since she was able to get in touch with a manager to logically resolve the issue between her, the manager, and myself.*apologies if I misspelled your name Charise.

I do not recommend this company nor their services. I recently was referred to this location by my insurance company due to a crack in my windshield. I brought my car in with my rain sensor working properly. The technician Anthony, who was responsible for replacing my windshield informed me that the rain sensor broke while he was removing the windshield saying that it was glued on by the previous windshield installer - which is hard to prove considering that it was working properly prior to bringing it in. On top of him admitting to it breaking when he removed it. Safelite said that they would not be responsible for the damage and that I should contact the previous windshield installer. They are extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend this company and would advise any woman choosing to do business with them to be VERY CAREFUL choosing to patronize with this company/ location as they will try to take advantage.

Sadly my experience has been the same as others. I have used them in the past and was very happy with the service. This time I scheduled two appointments with them, the first one they canceled the day of the appointment stating they didnt have the replacement in stock. I though maybe they would have known that the day before this was schedule. I did reschedule the appointment for several weeks later but this time they just didnt show up, no call, nothing. The next business day they called me to try and schedule another appointment and appeared unaware they had just missed one. It appears the service here is really suffering. I canceled the order.

Obviously when a local ph no. gets directed to a national corp. phone exchange thats a problem. When that exchange gives you no option to talk to a live person locally, thats saying they dont need your business. It must be all about insurance claim work. Ill go elsewhere.

Its too much to say. Only reason I am using them is that this is the only place my insurance works with. Only 2 stars because of their hard working Techs.

First time ever using Safelite for a rock chip repair and it was definitely the last time ever. We had an appointment on October 4th, 2021 to repair a rock chip on my Moms 2019 Lexus NX 300. The technician was a lady named Khi. She came to our house at 1:15PM and started to work on the car. She was done in less than 10 minutes and left. After she left we noticed 4-5 new scratches on our windshield around the rock chip she repaired.EDIT: In response to the owner, the new scratches were not caused due to the existing damage to the windshield that was being repaired. These new scratches were surrounding the area of the repair and caused by poor workmanship and lack of care.

Horrible customer service at this location ten minutes late and they cancel your appointment. No number to call saying youre going to be late in Houston traffic. And the first time I got there at 1pm for a chip they said they couldnt fix it even though they have a guarante stating they will same day if brought in before 2.The only redeeming thing about this location is the employee Aydaw. He was so polite and professional while fixing my chip the third time I came there. A real professional.

My insurance company messed up which Safelite office was to replace my windshield. They ordered a replacement from this specific office, despite me living on the opposite side of Houston. Even so, the technician STILL drove 45+ minutes away and got my repair in after COB on a Friday, and his attention to detail in cleaning up all the broken glass inside the car was outstanding. Highly impressed with this offices customer service and professionalism.Your technician Jairzinho deserves a raise too imo. 10/10 tech.

Scheduled an appointment more than two weeks out and selected the extra-cost option for first-service at 8am at my home. Technician did not show up at all and customer service representative was obviously on her cell phone and just rolling out of bed. Very unprofessional, especially for a $600 replacement. Oh, and this companys website will not let you post a negative review unless they charge you (artificially inflating their score by including only positive experiences from people who didnt cancel out of frustration). Will not us this company again.

I have used Safelite on numerous occasions all over this country and I have never had a poor experience until this venture.I set my appointment up online for last week. Sue to my chemotherapy schedule, I had to reschedule for this morning.The app does say that due to Covid-19 restrictions, they strongly request I arrive at 8am and drop the truck off. That is all they state.I arrive at 8 and tell the young lady I have chemotherapy later in the day and therefore cannot drop my truck and leave. I have no one to drive me around.She calls the tech and the tech and I walk to truck.He explained he has to take the back seat out to replace my power sliding back window. I tell him that is fine and that I will wait. I tell him why I will waitThen he tells me the job will take 5-6 hoursWell of course I was shocked. As I said to the tech, I have had Safelite out to my home twice before to replace identical trucks identical back windows and neither of those appointments took more than 2-2 hours.The tech explained to me that he works on my truck and other jobs all day moving from one to the other at different times of the project, moving back and forth from my project to others then back again.I currently having the glass replaced at a national competitors shop and my truck is ready after 2 hours and 12 minutes.Who or what does Safelite care about??Get as many in, work your staff at a dizzying pace with projects overlapping and confusingly entwined to make that all powerful dollar?!

The tech Abe did and excellent job, I did not have an appointment yet they fit me in, I was in and out in about an hour.

Called numerous times, cannot connect to a human. Text 2 times looking for pricing on getting a back window resealed and never received a return text or call. I guess they have enough business that they do not need mine. Called Juan’s Auto Glass on 249, they answered the phone and gave a price over the phone, and got the work done same day.

Did great work, but were a little slow in getting the car out to me at pickup time.

I specifically asked the technician to make sure he transferred my parking permit but he failed to do so. Now he wont respond to any of my messages. Ive called the main number but its impossible to speak to a human. Now I have an additional hassle and expense to deal with. Customer support is zero. Use ANYONE ELSE but these guys!

I came two times to get my windshield replaced and they had ordered the wrong part both times. They told me they would get me a discount and get a mobile technician out to me to fix my windshield. Instead they charged my card the full price without scheduling anything. They again ordered the wrong part a third time and at this point Ive been with a broken windshield for a month. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Made my appointment for 0800AM got there early, around 0715AM, checked in and someone immediately came out, got my keys, and informed that my car would be in a bay once one was available. I was out by 0840AM. Service was quick and professional.

I had (2) very small chips repaired in February 2021 on my windshield. It is now June 2021 and its as if the chips were never repaired. What a waste of $200. I contacted Elizabeth Q. in customer support and she was no help as they only warranty entire windshield replacements not chips. They wanted me to pay for a new windshield for TWO small chips, what a joke. Save your money and go to a smaller repair shop that doesnt rip you off. I will never use their services again.

I had an appointment in Conroe that I couldnt be late for scheduled that afternoon based on my windshield replacement taking about an hour. Satelite informed me that the windshield/camera calibration could take another 2 to 3 hours. I would have had to reschedule, but the front desk lady spoke with Simon, the tech, and he came in early from his lunch break to get started on my truck. He was very nice and professional. He had me out of there super fast and did a great job! Thank you for helping me keep my next, very important, appointment! Simon was the best!

Had what I thought was a 9:30am apt on -line to drop off may car for the day. The shop was over an hour away from me with work day traffic making it even worse. I arrived in the office at 938am and they said they could not except my car now.... for an all day drop off appt being 8 minutes late....Anyways, for those scheduling drop off be aware its a drop off window that closes by 9:30am sharp. Very unhappy they could not make an adjustment to accommodate a miss communication and traffic issue for those driving so far away for a service appt. Had a trip planned tomorrow and really looked forward to having the repair done today.

Just an Awful experience. They managed to scuff my paint on the roof, they left huge gaps between the window and molding. They Pretty much destroyed the molding by ripping it and not replacing the double sided tape. Some rubber molding is hanging loose of the sides of the window. Im sure my car will have water damage with those gaps. They also curb checked my rim. I dont understand why my insurance recommend this nightmare. I didnt expect this kind of unskilled work from this place.

Less than poor. Paint job was damaged from the windshield replacement. Management denied any wrong doing. Was not satisfied at all. 2019 Toyata Tacoma. Garage kept. Scratches were located on the I beam right next to the windshield..Update.. 09/27/20. Safelite let the 497.00 charge fall off and then 2 weeks later charged full price. Shady business practices. No messages left. Once again warning you that this is not a reputable business. Hopefully this is just this location. I have used safelite before with no problem. BEWARE CLAYMOORE SAFELITE.

Priced very highly through my insurance. I was quoted $632 for a back window. I made 1 call to local Texas Auto Glass and I was quoted 232 for a heated window installed with a new seal. Same day took about a hour. The customer service was good and again this place was recommended by my insurance and I never actually went here just spoke over the phone, but by the pricing I dont regret not going.

Safelite is horrible. The guy called saying he was on the way. When he got here he said i cant do it cause its raining. It was raining when he called. He rescheduled me for a week later. It stopped raining a few hours later and I tried to call the company. I was on hold for 19 min and got hung up on and tried again and was waiting on hold for 35 mins before i hung up and called another company that got me in the next day and was cheaper anyways.

Took 2021 Forester for small chip repair. An hour after leaving, the chip that was the same for three weeks got worse. They obviously dont know how to do the job correctly. Had to take it to a chip repair specialist to get fixed right.

Made an appointment today for 10:30. Get there at 10:29 and am told it will be at least an hour before they can work on my windshield repair. I dont see the point of making an appointment if they book multiple people in the same timeslot for a single repairman. Go down Gessner to A&A and they will take care of you on time and save you about $100.

It was a wonderful experience I wasnt to satisfied with the price but it had to be done right so I chose Safelite AutoGlass an they did an awesome job an so did all of the staff

I cant the Crack in my sunshades at all from the outside, and its barely visible from the inside. I DEFINITELY recommend the team at this location!

They did a good job. Full windshield replacement with ACC/LKA sensor recalibration. Install looks clean, and the lane keep assist seems to work slightly better than when I brought it in. They were professional.Only complaint is they forgot to do the windshield wipers I ordered and had charged me for them. I wasnt in desperate need, so I might not have noticed. It was an honest mistake, and I dont blame the humans, but it was clear from their reaction that they have a poor system/process for reconciling what was ordered/charged vs what was done. Almost like it was in separate systems. Company should invest instead of leaving their employees in such a position.

When they schedule a repair it can spread all through the glass after needing a replacement. NO ONE TELLS YOU THAT. Anyways I scheduled a repair for my windshield (covered by insurance) while i was at work from 8am-12pm. Guy called and said 12-2pm is when hell be there now. He finally shows up at 3pm. 3:45 says hes done and my windshield looked exactly the same and the dings were still there. Dont use this company because EVERY time youll end up paying the deductible. I will not use this company so please do not reply. This review is solely to help others.

I had a small crack in my front window, they told me it costs $153. I checked the price with another store on Gessner, they told me it costs $50.Always recheck the price.

Poor workmanship in the installation of my new windshield. They scratched my paint clean off around the glass and didn’t install my windshield cowl correctly. This is my second windshield from this safelight location. Sad to see the quality of work is dropping off.

Needed windshield replaced. Customer service was amazing. My VW Golf could not be programmed for calibration but the tech kept me informed all the way and I payed less than quoted price when it became apparent is have to take it to the dealership for recalibration. So they took off the calibration fee, and then reduced it further even though its not their fault they couldnt do it. I will return of I ever need glasswork done on my car.

415 $ for a back window was what they quoted for my vehicle. Found it for 165 $ cheaper at a place that actually came to me for free. Other places where way lower as well. You would think being a nation wide company they could do better.

Very easy process here. We had a cracked windshield on our Subaru Outback (no Eyesight) and went through our insurance to get it repaired. They sent us to safelite and the process was super smooth.I got an email confirmation, and then an email reminder and text message reminder about my appointment. Showed up about 10 minutes before and they saw me about 5 minutes later. Complete windshield replacement was only about an hour long.Tech was very nice and seems to have done a great job (windshield looks good, but obviously havent been in any rain or anything yet).There were about 4 or so people waiting in the waiting room. Chairs were spaced out pretty well and everyone had masks on (required for entry). Id recommend this location.

They did repair a crack in my windshield in 30min. After the repair the original crack was almost invisible and it was all paid by my insurance. Great customer service as well. I would definitely do it again instead of paying $500 deductible for a new windshield.

Needed the door glass on my car replaced so I made an appointment with Safelite off Clay Rd. and BW8. The tech took the car in at 8 AM, the appointment time, and I was driving away at 8:45. Everyone was nice and professional, and the price was good. I used the discount code for Costco members through their auto buying program on Costco.com.

My son in good faith hired this company to repair a chip in his 2016 Jaguar not only did they not fix it the technician they sent out caused another crack in my windshield. Now this poor excuse of a company is refusing to make it right. My recommendation is for to you not to hire Safelite for any window repair.

Made appointment through my insurance. BTW, this place has no plan to minimize Covid-19 cross-contamination. After a 10 minute wait, the care was done. Last in, and the first out. I personally questioned the timeline so quick, I took the car and went home. After a careful inspection, the windshield was not repaired, wasnt clean and their management is unresponsive. I did informed my insurance. The chip actually looked worse after the visit. The crack continues to expand, but I will not get my windshield replaced at or by safelite! Safelite management responded. They have no clue and understanding of the real issue here. My insurance paid to get the windshield repaired, but is wasnt.

When we went to get our windshield repaired under insurance, they were very quick in checking and advising us that it would need to be replaced, and did everything they could to get me a very good price on what I needed. They were great about scheduling to my needs, and when we went in for the actual repair they got it done in half the time quoted. Highly recommended.

Literally the smoothest process ever. Had my appointment before work, they got me in before time, had a Uber take me to work and pick me up. Then I went back the next day cause I had a minor concern, they were so patient and informative. Highly recommend this location. Also Ms. Glynis who sits at the front desk is so sweet. I knocked down my mirror inside my car, called Safelite Auto and they told me there nearest location to me and said if its not broken they will just fix it. So I got to there location, and the receptionist sent someone right out. He was amazing because he went straight to my car and fixed my problem in less than 5 sec. I asked whats the cost and he stated it wasent broken so he just screwed it tight and I was on my way. Amazing customer service, thank you Safelite Auto. I will consider you for any of my autoglass needs in the futute!!

My 2019 Tesla model X needs to replace the rear window with a fixed spoiler. but safelite dont have the parts and did not notify me until last minute.

The guy that did the repair was on time and courteous but the condition he left my windshield in was horrible inside and out. I had to scrub my windshield just so I could see to drive when I left for work the next morning. If this is always the case then he should have let us know so I could have started earlier and not been late to work. Maybe it was because it was an insurance claim or some other excuse. I will not use this company in the future or recommend them.

Everyone is so nice here! Appointments are recommended by the company. This place is a little hard to find, you really have to pay attention. I was in and out in a little over an hour, my windshield was too hot and had to be cooled down before they could perform their work. I loved that i was informed about everything they were doing.

Professional, courteous and easy to deal with. I truly got a 5-star treatment here. The ladies at the front desk were very kind. The manager brought a portable A/C to the waiting area for people to be comfortable, even though the main A/C was barely starting to malfunction. Very considerate! The windshield replacement job was beautifully done by David. Im a perfectionist and couldnt find any issues with this installation. Just perfect! Also, the transportation arrangement through Uber was above and beyond. Thank you, Safelite. You exceeded my expectations!

What a complete con. I had a small chip “repaired” by Safelite on my 2017 Highlander in July. It wasn’t done properly and the chip began to spread. They offer a “lifetime warranty” on their work, so I called to have them come out and re-repair the same chip. The representative said they couldn’t repair it twice, but that they would take the repair amount out of the cost of a new windshield. With the discount, he quotes me $1,071!! YES, you read that correctly. More than $1k to replace a windshield. I subsequently called my TOYOTA dealership, and they will replace my windshield for $387. So Safelite wants to charge me $700 MORE than the dealership because they couldn’t properly fix my chip the first time?! No, thank you. I plan on reporting them to the BBB. Never again, Safelite.

My windshield was a casualty of the May 2019 hail storm. I was able to get a same day appointment that I had to decline myself because I had a conflicting meeting. When I went in a few days later they were able to finish the replacement so quickly that I didnt even finish the work I had brought along to do as I waited. They were able to save all of the important stickers from the old windshield. Every single person there was so kind and helpful. I would give 6 stars if I were able.

Safelite was great. They handled the insurance and scheduled my appointment. I got in at my scheduled time the next day and Erin was fantastic!! She said 30 min it only took 15 min. Windshield looks great. Service and hospitality is above reproach!

Safelite did a great job replacing the windshield on my new BMW. I am very pleased with new glass and the quality of the work; however, the waiting area could be improved. I was not happy with the waiting area for a 2-3 hour wait. It is very uncomfortable. Otherwise I would have given a 5.

I just replace new wind shield for my Lexus GX460, there is a problem, the wind noise on the driver side when I driving 45m/h and up, ther were nothing like that before with factory wind shield, we bought this lexus brand new, alway take it to dealer for service, we trust safe lite, but now I feel so bad, I am going to bring my Lexus back to safelie, hopefully they can do something about it.

Safelite replaced a windshield 5 years ago for me, and it was trouble free. So when I needed another windshield on this truck, I went back to where I know they do an excellent job. They take no shortcuts, use the right materials, clean up any mess, clean the glass on the truck, and made me one happy camper.

1 star because the mobile tech arrived on time for a repair. My windshield was cracked right in front of where I look while driving. Ive had other repairs done, including with Safelite, that were very close to being invisible. This repair, however, looks like nothing was done. The crack looks the same now as it did before the repair. Wouldnt be a big deal if it wasnt directly where I look out of the windshield. Sun hits it and shines in my eyes. The tech did say before she started that repairs wont be invisible. She didnt say, however, that the crack would still look the same after the repair. She should have just recommended a replacement in the first place. Robyn, the location manager, couldnt care less. I left 2 emails that were never returned, along with several phone calls. All I want is a refund, but apparently thats not possible at Safelite. See my other reviews, Ive only left maybe one negative review ever....

I have used this location in the past. I called to make an appointment this morning and spoke to Bob. I received some of the best phone customer service I have in a long time. Bob took the time to do some checking and got me a better price than what I was originally told by insurance. Being in the service industry myself, it is refreshing and appreciated that he took the time to take the extra step to expedite my call and negotiate the better price.
