Out of all the salvage yards on North Shepherd this one is the most organized. Their clear about their return/ exchange policy and they honor it. This is usually my first stop when looking for used parts.

Good salvage parts, call to check if they gave the part, the prices are very fair and the warranty on the parts are pretty good specially on electrical parts, drive from the southeast to this place across town because of the honest business they run and helpfulness getting what you meed. They have and online directory of parts but if you can’t seem to find it on there just give them a call. They also sell complete engines, wheels, batteries. They have a good selection, prices are similar to those at LQK but here the parts are given to you without having to go rip it out of a junked car, they do the dirty work and their warranty is better than some of the local junk yards also.

Got a Jeep Cherokee tail light assembly from them and am pleased with the part. The facility is really nice considering the salvage yards Ive been to. Their parts are bar-coded to help with inventory which is a big plus for a salvage yard. The bad reviews almost scared me away, but they are not indicative of the truth. Great Price. Great Service.

Williams “was” my go to for salvaged parts. I go often since I’m rebuilding my 20 year old truck. Wednesday I arrived at 5:15. I knew they had what I needed according to their website. The man I spoke to confirmed he had them but couldn’t pull the parts off shelf because they had already locked up the cages? They close at 5:30. I’m thinking... then unlock them and get my parts, you have 15min. Do you close at 5:15 or 5:30? Keeping my mouth shut, I simply said okay, I’ll come back tomorrow.I returned the following day and said I would wait for the guy that helped me yesterday to loud guy sitting down behind the counter. He said no, “What are you looking for”? I reluctantly start over with him explaining what I need. He told me to wait and he would get the parts pulled. I said I have 100$ in cash, can you do it for that? He said I don’t know, I can’t see the pricing (complete BS). I can see the pricing. I said “I’m only asking because if you can’t, I don’t want the man pulling the parts to bother”. He told me to wait. Long story short (sorry), they pulled the parts and I confirmed they were what I needed. He said okay 119. I said “I’ve already explained how much I have”. He said “I can’t do it for that. “ I turned around and walked out. I went down (2) blocks to one of their many competitors. In a matter of minutes got what I wanted and for the money I had to spend. Here’s my question... “Why purposefully waste 45min of my time / and the time of those who actually do the work? Are you just an AH in all the time or just at work? Hopefully Mr. Williams sees my post and makes his fat A get up and try pulling parts for a day.

After my windshield was broken and my passenger car window was broken into my neighbor referred me to Williams Auto Salvage and I could not be more grateful for these guys. BEST PRICES YOU WILL FIND IN HOUSTON! I was able to have a total windshield and passenger window replacement done for right at $300. I was blown away when he told me the total cost! Not to mention Robert is so nice and very easy to talk to. I called and he had the glass ordered and in place that day. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely be using them in the future!

Bought a transmission and put it on the same day, truck didn’t go anywhere got it towed to a transmission shop, they said the valve body was bad which is the computer for the transmission, went back to claim my warranty, they said the warranty wasn’t under the valve body! Spent $1300 for a bad transmission watch out guys.

Purchased an a/c control head unit for my friends car, it worked like a charm and came with a 6 month warranty. I will go back if I need oem parts at a great and very fair price.

Took them 2 weeks to give me a motor that I bought and when I got it there was a Crack on the aluminum block. I show it to him and he told me that he have a professional Welder to fix it. 3 days later he said it was ready, only for me to go across town and find out they JR welder it together. . Who would do business and put someone life in danger like that.Do not come to this place I would never again.

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Ive been here for 3 warranty transmissions. Have records of it coming in and out of the shop. Had 20 miles on it this last one, and it got stuck in gear... Theyre claiming since it worked when i got it they cant do anything. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. They have put me through hell and back. Ive spent OVER 800 dollars in labor getting these transmissions taken in and out of my car. And now they want nothing to do with it. From now on, will only be buying new parts . Im telling you, its not worth your time or money.

I would never recommend buying used transmissions here. I understand it’s a salvage yard but don’t guarantee me that the transmission will work and then fight and argue with me about fixing it. After the second transmission, with the same problem, (incorrect gear ratio code) they offered to pay for the labor to give me a refund but didn’t want to pay to put another one in my car and abide by their warranty. The guy they referred me to (Tony’s Transmissions) tried to come up with every excuse not to fix my car and the first time he had no problem putting it in but after the second transmission and $946 in labor later, IT TOOK THE MAN 3 WEEKS TO DO A 2-3 DAY JOB. Also, the man broke my bracket on my headlight, scratched my fender, didn’t put the fender flares back in place, and now my front end pops every time I turn the wheel. How in the hell can you do business and satisfy a customer this way? Then Matt tried to diagnose my car and tell me I had more problems and tell me my speedometer doesn’t work but he isn’t even a mechanic! I would most definitely know if it worked or not, and if didn’t, WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH A TRANSMISSION? Please, do not waste you time or money with these people.

This is the best place to buy used car parts. Its cheaper than a pick a part junk yard and they do all the work (no need to be out in the blazing sun), you just go to the counter all for your part and be on your way.
