A few weeks ago I purchased books from this location. The service was fine and I even had the pleasure to have the Store Manager Shannon check me out. The day of purchase I asked Shannon if we were allowed to due returns after a certain date and I even explained to her my situation regarding my classes. She told that she understood my situation and that she would be willing make an exception for me. However, that all changed when I came back the day that my class started (this is the day SHE said I could come back to do a return if I need to). Consequently, upon telling her our previous conversation, she told me that she could not do the return unless i had drop class. I was truly amazed at how Lone Star has become a top notch college campus. Vast amounts of information are available for students and knowledgeable counselors are happy to advise them on any aspect of their careers. The addition of UHD is a great asset for a everyone and a very useful service.Well done.

Close, reasonably priced, challenging classes, lots of support, and they prepare you for a 4 year university. Great Honors College!

So renting the book isnt bad I rented like I normally would have done it for $70 in the book is normally 150 so however the return fee is gigantic the book itself is $150 since I didnt return it within a week of when it was due I had to pay $270 I couldve bought two new books with the amount they had charged me for that one book. I understand that they have to replace the book but I shouldnt have to pay for them to buy two new books because I forgot to return a used book on time and the way I heard her describe it sounded like if you did not return any book regardless of the price on time you still had to pay $280

Havent been able to reach this bookstore because nobody answers the phone....left messages and nothing back...emailed and still nothing..was finally able to reach someone today and the lady sounded so incoinvienced it was ridiculous...Ive been waiting on a book for almost 2 weeks.I gave her my name and she said I dont need that I need the order #.I gave the order number and I as I was saying it she said yeah and 5 zeros in it I know..Well if you know then why did you ask me for it..how rude and unprofessional.. I was told that it showed I didnt order until today..so theyre already out of books...I was then told she put in an order for more but sometimes they dont want to fill her orders so she just doesnt know when itll be here and she cant tell me anything else...but that I will get an email when its here....thats reassuring

In regards to size, cleanliness & accessability, I personally feel that the campus itself is phenomenal. Having been a student attending classes at this particular campus (more than say the other LSC locations), these were & still are highly respectable qualities that any other student, parent or instructor should appreciate.However... given that a majority of the student body are young (Im what one would consider an adult student), there is an incredible amount of foolishness that occurs by way of the younger students that is mostly a reflection of their generation. No one should have to duck a teenager whos glued to their smartphone & isnt paying attention to where their walking....thus walking into you!This has happened to me NUMEROUS times, especially in the past three years at this particular campus. Beware of this if you are walking around the campus!

I ordered a book online from this store and it came two weeks late for my summer class. I had to get an alternative in the mean time so by the time i recieved the text book i didnt need it anymore. I went to the store to return it and they would not take it because the plastic around it was opened a little. The lady accused me of using the access code and then returning it which was not true. She was so mean and rude about it that i wanted to cry.

Lone star college its a great institute to start learning about your future.

Ordered a textbook Tuesday 9/5 with 2-day shipping. Book was marked as in-stock. Class started Monday 9/11. Book never even started the shipping process. Called Tuesday 9/12, Wednesday 9/13 (along with an email). They replied to the email that they did not have anymore of that book and due to the hurricane didnt get any until yesterday. That my order would finally process either late yesterday or today. Well, just received an email today that my order was cancelled. I use the book advance and cant afford to just go fling $130+ on a new order or digital version. Ordered from the Tomball campus that same day (9/5) and had zero issues. Sorry, but unless youre the Kingwood (my home campus) campus or the Atascocita Center, a hurricane from 2 weeks ago is no longer a viable excuse for failing the students who count on you for their things. We are all aware there was a hurricane and a minor delay can be handled, but it is beyond minor at this point. This is unacceptable. And, as another reviewer stated, they NEVER answer the phone or return messages. Unprofessional indeed!

The woman that works the book store is very rude. She acts if the customers are below her and a total inconvenience. When you ask a question she responds in a condescending tone.

Its hard to park a car and find your car after your classes. But you will get used with it.

Very friendly ... we went to the open house and very good information, friendly and from the parking lot guard, the people in the corridors to guide us to the right places !! Very clean and ample the building and muuchoo parking 💯💯 ... and 😊 Today they were giving food 😋😋 rikkkisimo for the event it was.👍👍👍
