True Protection is an awesome company to have the security service installed especially if one does not have in place a proper camera wiring at the property. I read all the bad reviews and they are true. Chis, who I talked to is an awful person there to deal with warranties. Its like soon as they sell you anything its goodbye and glad we ripped you off.The owner called me today (8-27-21 ) and started YELLING at me for telling the truth about my issues of what they installed. He started by saying, I am a small business and I should be ashamed. Its YOU AND ONLY YOU, who should be ashamed calling your customers with your shoddy business practices of not helping your client. This is the second time that I am having the same issue with the keypad LESS THAN A MONTH. The first time they supposedly fixed it was less than a month ago. Then when I called them yesterday about the same issue, I was told now I had to deal with Brinks about the same problem.

Worst security company monitoring company Ever!!!! If you ever have Jess for your install he is arrogant, impatient and lies to you. He will tell you things cant be done but in reality it can he just lazy and careless. The customer service here wants to nickel and dime you and charge a service fee of 50 bucks for the same call even after days before for the same call.

THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT i HAVE EVER SEEN. THIS IS NOT A COMPANY THAT YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY.

We have never had an alarm before, but decided it would be a good idea to get one with some things that have been going on in our neighborhood. This company is awesome! You get direct, personal care straight from the manager and the installer, and theyre incredibly nice and responsive! Plus the technology is top of the line, at a completely reasonable rate. I hope Ill never need it for its intended purpose, but its incredible and works really well. The app is awesome as well. All around, the best purchase I made for my new home!

We placed an order for our main office here in Houston, I like the remote control and the ability to disarm or arm the system while we are away. We travel often and this give us a sense of security that we have wanted. The system works well too. Very nice! Tim and his partners were really helpful throughout the entire process. I shopped around and gathered information from several alarm companies before settling on HomeStar Protection. Tim spent a long time answering my questions both over the phone and via email. We had a final meeting at the house to make certain some of the equipment from the older system could be incorporated into the new system (it could) and to go over internet access to the system both with and without the app. Jes arrived later in the afternoon and had the new system working before dinner. A question arose the next day, and I was very happy to get a text message answer from Tim right away.

Overall, I am VERY pleased with Homestar Protection. The people (Tim and Jess), product (2 Gig equipment, Monitronics monitoring), price, and service all far exceeded my expectations.My wife and I recently bought a new home in the Heights, and I was looking for a good security company to connect our equipment and monitor the alarm. I had been using ADT for over 3 years, and I just wasnt happy with the level of service and the price I was paying for the features I was getting. I thought there had to be a good alternative.I searched around for a local security company that looked to have updated technology (mobile app, home automation, etc), competitive prices, and good reviews. I found HomeStar Protection, and I called Tim about a week before we were set to close. He said that hed come over to do the consultation whenever we bought the house.I called him the day we closed as we were driving to the new house, and he happened to have a window right then between appointments so he met me at the house within 20 minutes. He quickly analyzed the setup and explained to me the equipment theyd use and how it would takeover the current system to use all the existing sensors and nodes. He scheduled the installer to come out 2 days later and we signed up on the spot.2 days later, Jess came out to install the new system. He hooked it all up, configured, tested, and then gave me a thorough training on how to use the new system. He also gave me his cell in case I had any questions.I would definitely recommend HomeStar to anyone needing a good security company for their alarm system.

I was referred to Homestar Protection given their service, customer support, and pricing and now overwhelmingly happy with my decision to do so. Tim made a house visit to consult our needs and the various equipment configurations in our newly remodeled home. Jes showed up the next day for the installation and treated our home as if it were his own, installing all of our equipment in a meticulous manner. Jes then walked my wife and I through the various alarm modes and options as well as the different mobile app notifications we could setup.Both Tim and Jes insisted on calling/texting either one of them should we ever encounter equipment or service issues - a personal touch on an already excellent customer service experience. We plan on having exterior security cameras installed to complement our home alarm system and will have Jes install that equipment in the coming weeks. Everyone should protect their most valuable investment with a quality home security system, and we found that piece of mind in Homestar Protection.
