Costumer service good installation horrible and really hopping they can fix all issues. Installed RFpunch1000 TO 2 jl audio 12tw1. No bass coming out not even a little bit. Driver side Component speakers are buzzing like crazy those are type r Hooked up to RF 600/4 amp. I purchased RF wire for two amps and I’m seeing the sub box has something else other than RF WIRE connected to amp. I said if necessary I will buy more but I don’t see my wire. Got installed a viper alarm system and now check engine light is on. It’s a nightmare so far and hopefully they can fix these issues sooner than later. It’s Saturday so will have to wait for Monday to get this resolved. Hopefully they resolve all these issues so I can change the review but for now horrible installation horrible.

Brought in 4 8 rockford fosgate p2s and a Rockford 1500bd amp. They designed a custom box to fit under my 2019 titan midnight edition. All focal door speakers and a lc7 equalizer. Truck sounds amazing. I get compliments on the craftsmanship on the box everytime someone sees it. Shaun was the builder and main installer. They even stayed over an hour late on a Friday so that the truck would be finished. Very clean install. Just need to go back to upgrade my 4 channel amp so the clarity really comes out!!

They installed speakers and Amp on my 2020 road Glide I took it back five times but the problem with my speakers turning off was never resolved so now I have to pay more money to correct what they messed up Im out of 6 grand for a sound system on my bike

I wont leave a bad review but this experience could have been better. I based my decision to use Car Stereo Outlet based on past experience with them from early 90s from another location.Had issue with steering wheel control module not working during installation back in June 2020, was told due to pandemic shipping was slow which was understandable, but been back several times to follow up its September now took my truck back and module still not available so now to eliminate any more frustration I would rather have just been refunded the amount for steering wheel control and go after being there 3hrs but instead some other module was used and granted it seems to be working but not equipment I paid for which I think were of lesser value, was told radio kit and module was changed by owner but installer told me the only thing he replaced was steering wheel module. Im sure I should be owed something back butinstead was told they lost money. The bothersome part was the attitude they gave me when they the ones installed defective parts on my truck. Brothers I trusted yall but Im not so sure about the future.

Bought sound system from these experts and a little over a year later I had a problem with my sound system. I brought the car in and told them what it was doing and before i handed over the keys for them to look at the problem in his divine expertise the man tried to sell me an 800 dollar amp and was 110% sure thats what my problem was. I see where the problem lies and its letting these experts work on my car in the first place.

Nice, kind, patient (with all my questions and specific request); CHECK.I had a whole system installed and they TUNED it just right!Prices are about $100 to $150 less than online (could have been discontinued equipment). But works great and has factory warranty.Conclusion, they are good at Voodo or some kind of majic. I have a 2008 volvo S80, I took my car a few different places and they wouldn’t give me the quality sounding speakers I wanted and they couldn’t install a new head unit. I asked my uncle where I should go and he took me here and it was a great decision. Not only did I get the sound I was looking for but they also worked with me to get my preferred sound I wanted. I now have a great stereo with a hidden head unit and my car still looks stock.

My fiance upgraded my stereo system for Christmas this year. Initially, I was hesitant to believe this location could over supreme quality and service, especially considering the area it is in; however, I was taken aback by their professionalism and willingness to give the customer (me) exactly what I wanted. I cant attest to the pricing, as that information remained reserved to my fiance and the staff, but I truly recommend this company for the overall experience. Although I am not familiar with the technology or terminology of stereo systems, I was offered an explanation of the luxury, economical and in between systems, as well as which ones they recommended and why. We even took the car back the following week because I had decided I wanted to make some changes to the aesthetics and they made those changes free of charge (except for the upgrade on the amp/sub).I will caution that the process is a bit lengthy. I recommend dropping the car off rather than waiting in the lobby.Overall, Im happy and will definitely recommend.Edit 1: Originally, my system was wired to respond to my steering wheel volume and music buttons. However, since January or February, my steering wheel buttons no longer work with the system. Initially, they performed the opposite function (volume up will go down) and then they stopped working.

I came in with any technicians worst nightmare.......repairing work done by another shop.They listened to my problem and promptly moved the car in to the service bay and got to it. After a very reasonable amount of time they told me that found the problem and were able to fix the other 2 issues installed incorrectly by the first shop as well.When he presented me the bill I was pleasantly surprised as it was less than half of what I had mentally prepared for.The retail area and backshop were very clean and organized and you could tell they took pride in their work..

I have been dealing with Car Stereo Outlet since 2012, and I have previously written stellar ratings for them. Yesterday, Jan. 14, 2017, I visited Car Stereo Outlet again, as I needed to replace the remote on my car security system and have the cords to my backup camera repaired. Like before John and Ali were still there, and they remembered me. Again, like before, they took care of me professionally, treating me like I was the only one who mattered to them. Again, I HIGHLY rate this store. Unlike other vehicle audio/video stores, which may or may not be in business a few years from now, Car Stereo Outlet is still there, with the same ownership. They back up their work. This is one reason I will always go to Car Stereo Outlet on I-45 for my vehicles audio, video, security and tinting needs.

I spent over $1500 on equipment here, from my radio to my 700 dollar JL audio amp to my tweeters. For my subwoofer to go out a year later. I drove all the way from pearland to sit in their shop for 2hrs for them to charge me for a diagnostic and tell me that subwoofers only last a year . I would personally never use them again their equipment is obviously counterfeit. Get them to quote u a price and go buy it from bestbuy and get geek squad protection. Bestbuy will swop ur equipment in the store for up to 3yrs.. just saying.

I actually had an appointment with another installer, who stood me up. I used my phone to locate an alternate local shop and came upon Car Stereo Outlet. So glad I did! Friendly staff, up front, VERY REASONABLE quote, and I waited no more than 25 minutes for a car stereo install that included a Bluetooth mic. I highly recommend them!

After seeing all the good Google reviews I decided to use this Car Stereo Outlet to add speakers and an amp. Got their about 3:00 pm and was told it would take 2-21/2 hours I left at 7:15 pm. as they were closing. felt a though I was being rushed out the price we agreed to at 3:00 had now gone up $60 after I reminded then on the earlier agreement they revised the price back the original. On the way home I found the radio that should have sounded great with the new equipment now sounded so bad that I could not listen to it for more than 2 minutes so distorted it hurt my ears.Today (2 days after install) I am going back to have them fix this issue I will report back with the results. I am posting this for (2) reasons, to document the results and confirm the Google rating or find out if this is a false rating some how controlled by this Company.Update it has now been 5 days since the install on the new amp and speakersI have been back to the store (3) times twice for adjustments to the system and then finally, to remove the amp.I my opinion the factory head unit in the 2014 Silverado is so bad that the amp just made it worse.The guys at Car Stereo Outlet did everything possible to make the system sound the way I wanted it to sound. The new cars are a lot harder to upgrade due to all the features built in to the radios, replacing the Head unit almost impossible with out losing one of the features.In the end I was refunded the money for the amp and only paid for the upgraded speakers. New speaker help, not what I was hoping for but better than factory.The guys at Car Stereo Outlet spent at least 6 hrs. trying to bring this system up to my expectations.I would highly recommend using this Company and yes they deserve the Google rating.

Had them install 2 10” subwoofers in my 2017 the whole system amp and kit did a pretty good job but the box broke and instead of replacing it they wanna fix it WTH! I spent 600$ on that system at least you can do is replace the speaker box for me that couldn’t handle two tens!

This place not only had one in stock but with an awesome price. I immediately said Im on my way. Got there and they are legitimate dealers of more than one manufacturer which isnt rare but most places specify in one or two brands. Ok so I buy the sub go home and drop it in. A day goes by and Im not satisfied with the sound that Im getting (factory defect probably). No reflection of alpine or the store.That day I went to exchange for another sub or a different brand all together. After talking with the owner he sold me on Rockford T1s. Havent had RF since the early 2000s. I couldnt be happier and for the price Im that much more satisfied. Swapped out the Alpine for two T1s plus a little money. Rounded to the nearest dollar, shook hands, and I was on my way. Thats what you call good old school by your word business.Finding an honest mechanic is just as important when it comes to car audio. Not only were they cool about making me happy and having to deal with exchanges (extra work for them) the price was fair. If I wanted to save me some money at the time I could have financed thru progressive and done the 90 days same as cash if I wanted or needed to. I decided to just give them their moneyIn conclusion, I was treated with respect, they are a business of their word, nice, honest, and affordable. I dont know bout all this good reviews they install my systems and not even a week my subwoofer blew, ground cable was meltin and this high sound when I accelerate . Went back for them to fix this problem but I lost the receipt so the owner said they couldnt do nothin about it and started been rude about my system was the cause since i didnt buy nothing from there store but there supposedly high quality wires kit knowin that was the problem them cheap wires kit that I bought from them. instead i went somewhere else to fix the problem for way cheaper price for installation and the best part xs power wires kit they install is top notch didnt charge me high price bull like some car audio shop I know
