If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Went to get rear glass replaced, they left glass in areas that can’t be removed without taking the entire panel off. My mom ended up going there about a few days later to get her window shield replaced, paid them in cash (because they claim they credit card machine was down), they took more than the time they quoted my mom to locate a replacement window shield. So long story short, my mom got her window shield replaced somewhere else. Well, my mom notified the young lady who originally took her money that she had went somewhere else to get it fixed, the young lady said that’s fine we’ll refund you. We get there to retrieve the refund then the young lady makes up 827,617,199 excuses as to why she can’t return the cash we paid. She advised me come back when the manager was there. We came back on the date she requested, manager still wasn’t there & “not answering his phone” she then advised we come back on a later date. So here we are again, on the date she requested & the manager still isn’t there nor is he “answering his phone”. So we demand our cash back! Young lady keeps saying we can’t give cash back. Of course everyone is frustrated. So the maintenance worker decides to insert himself into this customer experience, gets in my face, curses at me, threatens that he’s going to PHYSICALLY move me & threatens to call the police. (Mind you, he’s a “man”, I’m a lady) I continuously ask him to call them so I can wait on them. He doesn’t. We ended up finally getting our money back, but it should’ve have went that far at all. Everything about their customer service is unacceptable, the “lost manager” is a joke and the young lady in the front needs to find reread her orientation book if she still has a need to ask others for assistance. I should’ve pressed charges on the maintenance worker for threatening to physically touch me but I let him make it.

I asked them to make my car sound nasty but look sweet and they did just that. Awesome job H-Town! Here they have great customer service & reasonable prices. They take the time to explain each and every detail & gave me the option to change tweak anything to my liking without hassle. I give them five stars all across-the-board. Thank You!!!!

Now this place has professional installs I’ve been to a lot of places all over Houston and the owner here Marlin makes sure all of his employees are doing it the right way not the street way he’s very intellectual and knows his stuff !!

They don’t ever know how to explain them self of the work they are doing they catch an attitude if you even ask. Jose did sound job on my truck went back because it was not properly install and he was not there the next day someone else checked it and told me he could do nothing because he don’t know what was done. Had to go multiple times in order to get it fixed

My experience at this shop was good and bad. The good I was able to schedule an appointment and that appointment was kept. The receptionist were relatively pleasant. The tech who worked on my vehicle took care of the issue but he had to change a part I wasnt expecting. This was fine with me but when I asked him to explain why he had to change said part just so I know he became extremely rude which left a bad taste in.my mouth as a customer. Needless to say if I have any other audio needs I will find some place else to spend.my money.

Worse place ever to do any work to your vehicle they are not professional at all especially that Guy Jose that dosent have no clue what his doing running up and down like he knows what his doing. The guys that work there before they where way better they made you feel welcome and explain to you everything sold you the correct items you needed for your vehicle.

I been coming here for years, they always do a good job, Marlin use to be the guy I talk to all the time. 3rd vehicle I took this year for Tint, always come out right but this time instead of tinting the whole back window, they cut around the light, Looks ugly, they never did that before. But this a good place and the employees there are really good!

I did not expect that there is a place run by boys who do not understand the meaning of responsibility and they do not have a degree of respect, I made an appointment at 4 oclock and I did not leave the shop until 8:30 when I ask JOSE why this is a delay He told me if you dont like it take your car and leave, what is this treat? Did you take some education to learn? Speak politely and respectfully with customers.

That’s a whole shift for someone.They can’t find anything on there files for you.I’ve been waiting for my two door speakers for over a month a half now.I can literally mail a letter to Japan and get it sent back before they get my speakers.Oh the excuses about “COVID?” Whatever.Don’t even try to schedule a appointment they’ll start your appointment only 4 hours late just saying.I’d glad take my services to a legit place rather than this bucket shop.

Whats up FAM...look here is the truth because as always MovingWait_Weights loves yall for free...so I wanted a new vechile and my LOVE took me to get one, but I was not appeased with what was being offered after being originally spoiled with such a great deal on such an amazing vechile, my car was babied by the previous owener and I good a GODLY deal on it. So we made a deal in my famiky, and I could now have my car customed out...I mean paint, speakers, rims, T.V.s and all. So, I got on it and H-Town came up on Google and I rode with my son and came to see David and we got on it and in to it and we built me a custom system with everything I wanted and the price shocked me...right now I am still trying to spend money with them...cause I am here with no limits and going in...but they are so cool, truly professional, and quick to get at the work to be done...I have a new system store for life. You want the best, come this way and get it done. Plus enjoy great company and good people. I met this GREAT father who was here fixing up his Baby Girls car because she was a straight A student on the way to college on full scholarship. Man his testimony had me lifted. Yeah I am sold out to this place now, me and my real rider.

I went in to have a stereo and speakers installed I was told it would take three hours. 3 hours later I would told it would take three more hours. I came back the next day they said it would take 1-2 hours, it took 5 hours. My speaker is still crackling. I have to go back for a third time. I spent 9 hours waiting for a stereo deck and 4 speakers to be installed and they still arent finished! Nobody even checked my speakers to ensure that they were working properly. The moment I drove away and turned on my radio all I heard was snap crackle and pop. I had an appointment and waited in line for 30 minutes just to have a 30-second conversation with a person at the window. Employees do not wear masks with the exception of one or two. They do not wear masks even when they work on the inside of your vehicle, yet they require all of their customers to wear masks. It makes no sense. Im going back today for one speaker. I had extremely low expectations if not any, and still ended up extremely disappointed, and have already spent over $500 and not much progress has been made. If youre looking for quality, decent customer service, basic communication, look somewhere else! They could care less!

I came to h-town a while back I had bought some speakers for my truck and they have worked great 👍🏼 it’s been like 8 moths now and now I’ve come back to get a remote start alarm for my truck

Their phone special announces car alarms for $79 but once you get there, it turns out to be fake. Their installation takes forever. It took them 7 hours to put in a basic car alarm. If I could give them a lower rating then I would. I will never go back to that horrible place again!!!!!

Due to covid I called to see if they were open, and they where! So I went because I needed my radio installed AGAIN because the first BS place had it hooked up to a hot wire and it stayed on and constantly drained my battery🙄 and I took it out. this place was easy breezy ! They didn’t have my kit in stock so, they went got it and had my radio installed with in 30 mins... versus the first place they GLUED the face of my radio in place 🤬 HTOWN radio installation has great quick service, yes I’ll recommend this place to everyone 💙

Came in for a new head unit and amp setup. Was handled fairly quickly, good communication and any issues we had were addressed quickly. Appreciate the work that was done. - after further checking, we found a new dent in the car. Buts of wire, zip tie cuttings, scratches, many of the panels werent replaced properly, broken tabs, screws left out, no effort to replace the trim back properly and overall the work was unprofessional. No solder on the cables, the power cable actually fell off the crimped terminal going to the battery. Ill never go back here.

Pros:• I guess they technically installed my stereo?Cons:• Slow service (usually only one guy handling the desk)• They at first refused to install my stereo because I didn’t have the $200 kit. (The stereo fit in the console without it)• Once convinced to install the stereo without the kit, they took over an hour to do so.• Drove home only to realize that they didn’t mount it into the dash and it was flopping around loose. (They took everything out of the stereo box including screws and brackets so I couldn’t mount it myself)• Went back and demanded they actually install it properly, and they use some weird scrap metal pieces to mount the stereo.Overall, their service was horrendous and the quality of the final work was equally bad.

I asked for them to add just a little bass to my car since the factory system was not great. I left the decisions on what would be best up to the man at the counter since I now very little about speakers....left my car for them to do their magic....They did exactly as I asked and i couldnt be happier. They got it done within a few hours for me as Im from the San Antonio area and was in town only for the day.....Very professional and friendly....To say the least Im a very satisfied customer and will definately be returning for any future needs.....

I came down to this shop 2 times during the day because they are so slow, at first I was told that they could install a rear camera for $40 when I called, then when I got to the shop they increased the price to $80.When I was explaining to the girl that was holding her baby with no mask that the price was less, I notice that most of the employees had no mask and with music so loud on the shop, they may as well kiss each other because I could not hear anything.

Had a 2pm appointment. Received an appointment confirmation at 11am. Left work early, arrived on time and they were closed. There was an employee in parking lot who was no help regarding when they would open and didnt know how to get in touch with his boss. Very disappointed

My husband and I have been coming here for over 5 years with items/services to enhance our three vehicles (Hyundai, RAM 1500, RAM 3500 Dually). They have impressive customer service and they do not over price. They will be honest with you about the items that they will be putting into your vehicle. If something stops working, they will gladly fix it. We will continue to come to them for our future vehicles.

Ive tried for a month now to get a train horn to buy one from them and have installed and still have not heard anything back weve called several times and its very hard to get someone on the phone.. if this changes I will up my rating just really disappointed since weve been there several times for other things.

Not really what I was expecting my first time there but I guess the only thing I didnt like about it was I had an appointment scheduled and had to rush to get there in time. Made it there 5 minutes past appointment time and my vehicle was not touched for a solid hour. Just saying. If you set an appointment for someone they expect to get there and the vehicle be taken in the back immediately? Now i know that sometimes other jobs get run over but n hour over is different. Ive worked for alot of different companies and seen alot of customer service excellence and punctuation and just treated right by what the company says there going to do. So ill probably wont go back but thanks for the head unit install that only took 20 mintues.

A nightmare!Took my car there to have them run new 12 gauge wire which I provided to the 4 6.5s and to fix the ground on my sub. Was told it would be 85 bucks but was charged 190 out the door. They did put a new RCA cable that was it. They gave me back the car the first time and one of my speakers didn’t even work. I pulled the door panel and fixed their lazy wiring and got the door speaker to work.All the wires from the amp got loose, Now, there’s a loud static noise, frustrated I take it back and say y’all charged me to run new wires and didn’t even do it. They used the old corroded 18g wires which were too small for the amp anyway, and didn’t run new wires to the door speakers which I wanted. And this is the second time... oh yeah the speakers still have a static noise to them. They fixed nothing.Very bad experience. Now I have to take my car to another radio shop and cost me more money. Stay away.

Just had a amplifier installed in my 2017 Volkswagen CC and a 15” SKAR subwoofer. Finally Houston has a car audio shop that knows what their doing and the people that work there aren’t too cool to talk you. All of my questions were answered without making me feel dumb. I will definitely be using them again when I upgrade the door speakers and add my DSP, LCI 8, and additional amplifiers. Juan was very informative and helpful he could have let do what I thought was the correct way to install my system but instead he saved me money. This is the kind of place that understands you make more money off of repeat business and get free advertising than charging someone as much as you possibly can one time. To be honest their prices scared me at first because 99% of shops with comparable prices have no idea what they are doing, break or improperly install stuff. H-Town Car Stereo is not only a great bargain you get great service check them out I doubt they will disappoint.

I think they are just starting but for now they have no display of what they are selling and is not knowledge about music. I honestly feel it will get better.

Really bad customer service and and really bad people communication, I went for a tint and a stereo install i even left my truck overnight and the only thing that got installed was the tint, my truck spend 30hrs in there and idk why they couldnt install the radio, they never gave me an explication of why

I just recently got my windshield done on a 2014 Nissan pathfinder over here. Im impressed with the whole setup of the store. I noticed a lot of customizations on vehicles. Stuff you see at car shows. I like their prices too. I thought I was going to pay 300 or 400 dollars on a windshield. Instead, 140 (tax included). Cant beat that. I appreciate the wonderful customer service and looking forward to doing some more business with them.

Just recently had two 12” subs and app installed here. It took them 4 hrs to complete installation, which it should have took half of that time. Then the next day my subs aren’t working at all. Good friendly people but BAD service with and up charge on prices.

Call multiple times and these guys dont even answer the phone and when they ask they hang down ....excellent way to make business ...👎

Took my sons truck here about a month ago for an alarm. Told them what we wanted and was offered extra options, but we had a budget and could only do the basics for now. Never felt pressured and got exactly what we needed at a great price. In and out on a busy Saturday afternoon in about an hour. Lots of happy customers coming and going while we were there too. Great job guys.

They Could work a little more on their people skills. Went there and got new speakers. But was barely told anything. The only one i talkted to was the lady up front she was cool. But the shop guys looked like they just werent having it.

Had a getto experience. Installer was 55minutes late to my appointment. I was on time. They didnt wire a simple dash cam correctly. Parking mode does NOT work because guy didnt wire for it. I typed a detailed paper for work to be done and they ignored it. Only asked for 3 simple things. Dash Cam Parking mode. Backup Cam relay and Steering wheel function for radio. Said they were too busy but tried. Doesnt work but charged me full price. they simply didnt do it and refused to cure. No call for pickup, car just sitting there. Terrible.

I was told they had a wait but I didn’t expect a 2 hour wait but too be fair they were doing my system and was much please at there installation very good and even took effort to clean inside. Jonny offer me a water or soda and if I wanted drop off the car which wasn’t a bad idea I seen threw the wait they have great service to walking customers and seen always staying busy moving up n down.
