Went here yesterday to add a subwoofer, great customer service they gave me options on what I could put on my 2019 Accord, the installers did a great job. Now I have the bass that the factory system was lacking, highly recommend if your looking to upgrade your sound system, reasonable prices as well.

I brought my prowler in because I had zero sound after I purchased just a few weeks back. An aftermarket stereo was installed by previous owner. I didn’t know what to expect and thought my amp blew and would maybe need replacing. The owner there got me in and out very quickly and fixed my sound! They seem to be very reasonably priced and took care of me. I would defiantly recommend. The issue turned out to a minor fix and while he could have probably said anything he wanted -he didn’t and was fair.

Amazing service. I bought a radio last month and tried to install it which caused me weeks of trouble with a lot of weird issues. Needless to say I needed help and they installed my radio flawlessly. Very professional, quick service. I wish I could leave a higher review score. I will be telling all my friends about this place.

Really efficient and welcoming service..I got nice new audio system for my 20 year old suburban while waiting in a nice secluded lounge area. Technician ran me through functions of connecting my phone and Pandora...was supplied with the instruction manual. These folks were nice and worked to make sure I was happy before I left...I would definitely recommend them for fast friendly and precise service.

Too expensive it was such an abuse. When I went he had told me it would be $190 for an alarm, and I agreed. When he started working on my vehicle he had raised the price to $340 for a Prestige alarm and because he said i was missing a certain part, and online the alarm costs only $40. Then I went to another location and they did the whole job, adding a certain part and alarm, for $190. So yes, Im not a customer because you wanted to steal my money by overpricing.

I came to get a radio installed for my husband. He’s been w/out one for 2 yrs. Based on the positive reviews, I came here. When they tried to start the truck, it was dead. I started panicking!!! The guys told me to calm down they would figure it out. After performing some tests, they figured out it was a bad fuse. They replaced it on the spot. I’m sitting in their comfortable lounge waiting for my truck to get done. Yes... I’m writing this review BEFORE I even see the finished product. If their skills are as amazing as their customer service, I already know I will be thrilled. Listen people: if you want GREAT SERVICE for an AMAZING PRICE look no further. I promise you will not be disappointed. These are my installers FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is way to expensive. There’s no prices on nothing so the manager seems to make prices up in his head. I was o we priced for a alarm, radio and some speakers for my car. I will never go here again.

The shop is conveniently located next-door to O’Reilly’s auto parts. I wanted hi-intensity high beam replacement LED lights & fog lights on my 2005 Lexus SUV which they came through with flying colors, quickly installing them as I relaxed in their waiting room. I am very pleased with their knowledge of their products, ease of installation and repeat sales - very friendly people.

This place has gone down the drain. I dont know if they changed owners but it got super overpriced. Even their installations got more expensive. This place was better when Joe and mike and those guys worked there. Now this place is a joke. I had been coming here for over 10 years and have taken all my vehicles here which is 7. Now I will never come here again. Sad to think I recommended people to them. I will never do that again.

Very disappointed. I’ve got a clean 03 vehicle, and my leather dash and part of the plastic on the radio was bent and scratched... No one should have to do that to start the process. Nothing i can do about it really. But it is carelessness.

I really wanted to give these guys 5 stars. Knowledgeable, friendly, fast install. Real car guys (like me). The problem was when I googled the parts I was sold, they only added up to about $600-700...which means I paid $400 for a 90min install. The 12” RF powered sub I bought for $600 sells for $259 on Amazon. The $300 Pioneer head unit sells for $175. I didn’t price check them or negotiate bc of the great reviews, live and learn.

Very fair in price these guys could have charged me a lot more but gave me exactly what I asked for and I appreciate that!

The guy that tints window Is very rude and unprofessional

Everything they sell is way over priced. Buy what you want on Amazon for a fraction of the price and find someone to install it. That way if something quits working you can return it and get your money back. Just make sure you are checking around to see what the stuff really sells for. These guys like to bundle stuff and not tell you what you are actually paying. You might be paying 1000 dollars for the same radio you can get for 499. Bring it up and they will tell you some bs line that they buy from pioneer and its not the same radio when its 100 percent the same radio. And they cant even spell car right.

My husband took my car in to put in a new dvd player and security system and they cracked my dash while installing it. My husband didn’t notice when he brought my car home. I called to let them know and the man that answered was rude and hung up on me. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A CRACKED DASH!!! I don’t even trust that they would be able to fix it, so I guess I’m going to have to pay for a new dash😡

Really happy with their service. Had a small issue with a bluetooth radio that we had purchased, took it back in and they fixed it right away no questions asked (actually went above and beyond what they had to do). Will be returning for future radio and speaker installs for sure. Thanks again guys.

After researching were to go, this place was clearly the best. Then I ask a friend to recommend an audio shop, and before I could finish the question he mentions this place. After all the hype I was never once disappointed in the service and professionalism of the staff. They tell you there main goal is for you to spend the least amount of money needed. For once I believe them.

My family has used Katy Kar Audio multiple times for different installments. I had same day installation for my last 2 cars and at a great price. These guys know what they are doing and they walked me through with my last install so I got the best setup.

I was told one price it double after the work was completed. I did not get a call to ask my permission for a upcharge. I tried to plead my case with the manager he could care less. Seek out another stereo company for any work Im sure there are honest ones in Katy.

The prices are good, selection is decent. I have done 5 audio installs here in the past 10 years. And 1 alarm. With each install I had little to no problems. The complicated installs that did have issues they were quick to work on a fix, they always offered refunds to me if i was not happy. Each time I passed on a refund and worked with them to figure out and fix the issue. Once again today, install completed, very happy with the outcome, staff, and price.

I heard good reviews about this place and needed someone to take an amp out of my car because Im selling it. They told me to bring it on by no appointment necessary, and they got it all done in very little time at a fair price. Very personable owner and excellent service. I couldnt be happier with my experience here and will be taking my new truck here to install a stereo soon. No more geeksquad for me. Check these guys out.

I think they had a recent change of owners ... I’ve had a few installs done here in the past and everything always worked out great ... usually dealt with Al ! Customer service and installs were always Awesome.. this new guy they have in there doesn’t seem very friendly at all! Seems like all he wants to do is sell you everything and does not care about the experience ! When I asked if Al was still there he made a face and said no! I cannot speak for the install quality since I did not have anything installed .. but customer service has definitely taken a hit... I won’t be getting my install done here this time !

Took my car here for an estimate. They found my credit card and over $100 in cash AND GAVE IT BACK TO ME BEFORE WORK WAS COMPLETED. Integrity and honesty. I wont go anywhere else.

My navigator screen was busted and Nissan wanted to charge me $$$ to replace it when I told Al I had purchased the broken part of my Nissan navi he said he could do it for a great price. When I brought it in I was in and out in 30 minutes my navigation looks great and I was very pleased all for a great price! I could not recommend a better place the this one. Good, kind harder, helpful staff.

Im here now getting my third radio installed. I had one put in my truck and sons car about a month ago and now I have one going into a second personal vehicle. These guys are great. They take the time to explain things and show you what you are getting. A competitor up the street let me stand around in his shop for about ten minutes and never asked if he could help me. His pricing is very fair and the process is about as quick as it can be. Best Buy wanted me to set an appointment two weeks out for my install......these guys did the work immediately.

DO NOT GO HERE... I got tint done here.. ALL OF THE WINDOWS HAD BUBBLES ON THEM... they had the nerve to say thats normal which it isnt.. at first they said they would strip all of the tint and refund me completely.. then wanted to charge me $75 after I gave them a chance to redo it and they didnt redo it like they said.. they only redid 3 out of the 7... the owner was rude.. they acknowledged the tint was done badly but wanted me to pay for them to remove what they did badly? NO... DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING...

I called the shop to ask if they were open because a few day prior i called 3 times and no one answered. so naturally i ask, “hey are you guys open” The guy proceeded to say, “ I answered the phone didn’t I ?”He was rude, unprofessional, and condescending. We’re in the middle of a pandemic it’s a legitimate question to see if you are open, but no this guy obviously is in the business of sales prevention. USE SOMEBODY ELSE, THESE PEOPLE DONT CARE, AND I CANT IMAGINE HOW BAD THEIR BUSINESS IS RUN.

I been going here for years best service started a strong bond with the boss and staff I will always bring my car here planning on redoing my amp and wiring only this place will touch my sundown zv4 12 single with a kicker amp 750.1 700 watts. Im getting a big and stronger amp from here and have them hook me up.

I got my hid lights replaced here. At first I had went to another car audio place and they tried to overcharge me to troubleshoot. Katy Kar Audio told me what was wrong first and then installed my lights. Great customer service and I will definitely be coming back to get my speakers installed here.

Over a year ago I had Katy Kar Audio replace my whole sound system in my truck, after all was said an done, I spent close to 5,000 dollars on JBL speakers and the list goes on. I have been back to them over 10 times (twice this week already) to fix the issue with my bass going out.I go to work at 3 oclock in the morning, seven days a week, so unless I take a day off and lose pay, their is no way to have them fix the issue once again.I am never going back to Katy Kar Audio ever again, 10 time for the same reason. Beware of this hole in the wall of a company! Take it from me, if you have these people do any work on your Audio system, you will not be happy, problems after problems, its not worth it.

Before writing this review I thought it good to wait a couple months to see how the installation held up – as the reader (you) are interested more in FACTS than OPINIONS. In years past I had a console installed at a “big” electronics store – to fail a few years later. After my 1-week of web research I found the JVC console with the best backward compatibility to play various iPods.At Katy Kar Audio, the manager (Al) was very professional, ordered my choice console, scheduled an appointment and subsequently was installed perfectly the first time – and fixed a buzzing speaker. Mr Z (shop owner) who did the work was beyond excellent and competent -- the results speak for themselves. In my almost 7 decades, I’ve learned there’s nothing like a family-owned-and-operated business. Since I’m typically a harsh cynic, I don’t give anybody any slack; but when they do an excellent job, I give them a good review.

Mr. USMAN did a very good job he was quick to help me quit to find out what I needed for my car and their prices for very cheap check my lights Carlos check my license and found out the problem I had and told me right away and give me an entire kit and give me a good day so come out and see him yeah this is no problem at all

Stay away from here. I bought a 600 dollar Viper alarm system and it did not even go off. About 2 weeks after I bought the system I woke up in the morning with my car side swiped with over 2,500.00 worth of damage and the damn alarm didnt even go off. When I brought it back he said there was nothing wrong with the alarm system.

Run away from this store. Find a professional store with qualities, this is what it happens to me dealing with Mirza, who is the manager/ownerI when to Katy Kar audio on May 16 2014 and spoke with Mr. Mirza, who is the manager/owner of the store. I explained my problem that I was having with my car stereo, he told me that he could make a subwoofer much better, than what I have in my car at the time, and I had installed a MTX ThunderForm at the time of our conversation. I gave the green light for him to build me a new subwoofer, he gave me a price of $438.00, he said that he’s items was going to better than what I had before, and it was going to take around an hour to install. Once it was done, he asks me to come and see what he had made. As soon as I saw what type of equipment he had used specially the sub box, was a very poor choice of quality, the box was made of cheap wood it was badly done. I told Mr. Mirza that was not what we have agreed on and that I did not like the sub box that he gave me for the price he charge me. He admitted that the box was very cheap and proceeded to say that he was going to change the box for an exact type, I told him that did not want another box of the same material that I need something professional done with better material.He explains to me that he was going to get a better one, but I need to pay him $250 more which I said that I was not going to pay more for something that I already pay for. I when home and discover that the box was not only cheap material it was broken in-half already, so he knowingly had put in a box that it was already broken in half. This was on the weekend, on Monday 5/21 I when back to Katy Kar Audio try to show Mr. Mirza what a poor job he had done after he had promised me to do a better job than what I have before. He did not want to hear it, and continue on giving me the same type of box, which he did not have at the time that’s when I knew he was not going to do anything about it, and ask for my money back, he then turns into this uneducated, unprofessional, rude individual. Started to insult me and using vulgar language. At one point he said that his business was a family business he really don’t have a clue what is a family run business. I’m writing this for other people not to be fooled by this man, because once he had taken your money all he going give you is lies and will steal your money and will not respect you thinking that he can intimate you, believing that he going to scare you, so he will not take responsibility of the bad work that they do, on the day of the installation there were other people complaining about the bad work that they have done, it should it been a red flag I ignore it, they wanted him to pay $35.00 to check their bad work. Finally, I took my subwoofer system to other places more professional and they stated what I already knew and they told me that it was with cheap material and show me what he should it have used.To this point he refuses to return my money for the work he never did.
