After $1500 and 3 business days of sitting this company hooked up my system incorrectly. I know so because when my car was off during the night my speakers somehow caught fire an destroyed my entire car. My suggestion never walking in this business for ANYTHING EVER!

I git the wordt experience and service from tony he overcharged me a stereo because he said it was going to be $60 if i payed him separately outside the store and when i was about to take my truck home he charged me $300 and the stereo wasnt install right because it lept popping and i took it to a place to get it removed and went to return it and all he gave me back was $130 back and i keep calling when could i get my full refund and all he says is come back tomorrow and he never has the rest of the money, i would like to speak to someone above Tony so we could have a talk about the business that he made with me and i still want my full refund, i do nit recommend going to this place at all because they gave me the worst experience and service ever they had me wait a whole day to get that stereo installed just so it wont be functioning right and still dont get my full refund, i would give this place zero stars if i was able to .

Just left Car Stereo Max and wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I have never been more satisfied at a car audio store. Frank and the tech answered all of my questions and I did not feel forced at all to make a purchase. They didnt even try making me spend more money on unnecessary brands. I got exactly what I wanted and felt no pressure at all the entire time, especially for someone like me that knows nothing about radios and alarms. I recommend this place to EVERYONE definitely over any other car stereo place in Houston. Love Car stereo max!

Dropped my car there at 10 in the morning to simply get something fixed. Called at 3 said it will be ready by 4 called at 4 they just pulled it to the back called at 5 its almost ready. Came up there it was in the same parking spot I left it and they didnt even start on it yet. Terrible service. Done the same with my friends car they had it 2 days and didnt even installThe amp for the highs they forgot about it. Naw Im not going back anymore.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This shop is great!! I went to Viper’s website and it recommended several shops in the area that were preferred shops for an alarm install. I reached out to all of them and Car Stereo Max is the ONLY shop to actually take the time to talk with me. I thought the prices were fair and the customer service from the owner and the tech that did the install was outstanding. I can’t recommend them enough! I’ll definitely be back.

I came to Car Stereo Max less than 30 days ago and now my remote start is not working on my car. I’ve been calling for the last two days to get someone from their shop to come fix it so I can at least crank my car. I spoke with Tony multiple times and scheduled to have an appointment so a tech could come out and help me. Tony never called me and when I called them to confirm, they said they not coming. No one called or came out to help me get it fixed. I’m going to have to dispute this company because this is very unprofessional.

Worst service ever. They dont know what they are doing. Break your equipment and dont honor their work a week later.

I wish I could give them a 0 got my music hooked up on 4/30 my truck burned completely up on 5/12 with my kids still in the truck they barely got out on time!! Then every time I go to the store or call to talk to the owner isn’t available!!

I called car stereo max and spoke with Sergio the store manager.told him i needed to get an alarm installed on my truck as soon as possible but i didnt want to pay and arm in a leg.he told me i could finance it and send me the link to do so. I was approved within 5 minutes. I called him back and he told me come in that day.while they were installing the alarm i asked Sergio about putting a tint on my truck. He told me they could do now while they were doing the alarm. a couple hours later my truck had a better alarm system and a nice tint job.best part i didnt have to sell a kidney to get it done. Im very impressed and i will be going back to get my truck get a spray a bed liner put on it and have them install multi color lights under my truck. I cant wait. Awesome work to all the guys who go the job done. you have one happy customer.

I loved what they did with my trunk bought peice by piece and they put it together and it turned out very nice. I got 3 12s in my crown Victoria and led lights hooked up and its banging had a problem with my drivers side door speaker going out and they rewired it and fixed the problem..

If there is ever an issue with the installation or product they’re very helpful and will fix it to the best of they’re knowledge. Shady place. Quoted me price for install then had me return at 4pm only to double the price of install. $250 originally now $500 fir a stereo with the same info he had when he have the quote, then tried to tell me that JL audio amps are known to catch fire and I needed to buy a new one, I can’t find any info to back this up. Con man.

I thought this was another scam spot that’ll rip you off but google reviews made me check them out. They were great and helped fix my broken DVD player. Most stereo shops said it could not be fix. I’m thankful for google reviews with real people and real experience.

Ive done busiess with this shop; they are polite, they dont play deceptive trade games, and they have even offered unsolicited discounts on items in their shop which I showed an interest. Their installers are fast and efficient, they impress me as knowing their business and understand customer service.

This Shop didnt just pop up !! The owner has been around a long time before he landed on 1960. They know their stuff. They are honest, fair and kind. There are a lot of Sharks out there and you can get eaten alive. There is a major shark on 1960 WATCH OUT !! This shop you can trust.

Called Car Stereo Max at 1:30 PM for A Head Unit Install, I had all the equipment. I showed up at 2:30 PM dropped the car off. Went to eat a meal at Red Lobster across the street, came back at 4 PM. It was all done perfectly. Great Customer Service, They called me the second it was done. A+

These guys did work on my Nissan titan, had the entire factory stero removed and set up with a Rockford fosgate system, two amps subs door speakers ect, very professional service skilled installers clean work, needless to say great shop to visit for all your car audio upgrades at a really great price, will be bring my other vehicle to them now, keep up the great work.

Giving this place 1 star because I cant give no stars. They are completely rude and dismissive. Tried to get help picking out a amp and subs for my jeep and the owner blew me off for another customer and i had to ask for help from the installer and he said to read the box. I finally talked to the owner again and he told me there is nothing they can do today. So I said you cant make a sale ??? So I told them what I thought and left. I was going to drop 2,000.00 on new subs and amp now Im going to go drop it somewhere else.

Dont go here!!! I was recommended by a mechanic to come here to get some HID headlights installed on my car that I bought on Amazon. That mechanic was wrong! I thought it would be $20 max for a labor fee. They charged me $50!!! I made the mistake of actually listening to this mans nonsince. The people here are cheap and make wait longer than they tell you. Dont go here!! Waste of time and money!
