Went to pre order a game a few months ago. The kid taking my preorder asked if I wanted to get the insurance on the hard disk. I politely declined. He then tells me, Well, since it is a new game, the insurance helps with possible glitches and bugs that the game will have.How does insurance that a store offers covers glitches and bugs that the video game creators fix with frequent updates?! I want to believe he was lying just to get that sale rather than him actually being stupid enough to think their insurance covers software issues....

Its a GameStop... they usually have whatever Im interested in purchasing in stock, and the wait time isnt super long either... The staff also makes recommendations about future products without being pushy.
I love all game stops. They always the games I looking and the staff is always helpful. This location the staff was more than usual. These guys went out of their to help out, I will be returning to this store for all my gaming needs. Thank you guys so much for making my daughters birthday weekend even better!
We tried to sell 8 games. We brought them and he picked out 4 games and decided not to buy the other 4. He said 1 of them were in bad shape while the rest were just fine. He the told us the amount Hes gonna give and he said that he will give $18 for the 4 games. To be honest, thats not a lot and I payed more for the games. I know games price lowers down a lot but some of those games are backwards compatible and should be worth more than $10
Was calling about an online order and had some questions but I kept getting cut off and being told to just call customer service before i could finish my questions. I asked him to please let me finish my question but he simply said that I was interrupting HIM and not allowing him to work and assist the customers. Apparently even though I was about to purchase something online, I am not a valued customer and was simply told I was waisting his time.
This location is one of the better stocked locations that I have been to in Houston. I have been playing video games for 18 years now which gives me very in depth knowledge of the gaming world and its finer aspects. This caused me to sound as smart as their cashier, but he was a very smart young man too. I do recommend a visit to this location for your gaming needs. This location is very, very well stocked, and the staff were polite, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable.

Great service here. I had an issue with a Game I bought at one of the Crosby locations and The guy who helped out showed me what was wrong with the CD and exchanged it for a pre-owe game which is fine. also, he made sure that everything look good with the one he was replacing. very thankful

Maybe the worst gamestop in the country. Went in there to pick up a game I purchased online for in-store pick up. Was given a used copy marked as new. Did not accept it. Tried to pick up an amiibo marked down to $2.99, rang up as $5.99 and store wouldnt honor the advertised price. Didnt even acknowledge the discrepancy until I brought it up. Then, when I didnt want the item, they put it back on the shelf without changing the price.Yikes.
I have been to this location many times and every time had been a great one. I would definitely recommend this game stop for all ur gaming needs!!!!

I had an employee tell me that because the game was old (wolfenstein 2009) it had bad performance issues. Like if the medium had anything to do with poorly optimized ports...
Been going to this place for years, always had a great experience. The employees are exceptional, they sure know how to treat their customers. I love this location its convenient and isnt too far. You wont regret coming here. :) If possible Id give it another star ☆.

Bruh, the employees are mad cool with customers. Really friendly and helpful, and patient to those new to their stores. Honestly, the employees look and act like guys that you could hang out with, and get a burger or something.

Jaime is a great cashier, very honest about his opinion on games, very proffessional guy. Helped my brother and I get some really great games, would reccomend anyone to go to this gamestop, and Gamestop should give Jaime a raise.
Even though there was a pretty long line, we were out of there pretty fast thanks to the efficient cashiers on duty.

Friendly staff, and great and reliable place to buy games/nerdy stuff. However, you would be a fool to sell your game/console here. They will obviously RIP you off. Gamestop is a dying business and they are doing everything they can do make money. Sometimes I will walk in there and there will only be 1 person working and the lines can take a while. Also the employees HAVE to push pre-orders or power-up rewards or they will get in trouble. You might end up hating the employees but really hate the company.
I love game stop you can get games cheaper but with the times other place have comparable prices, and anything that is not games like headphones, collectibles etc can be found 10-20% cheaper online.
Awful customer service I went in 5 minutes before the store closed to return some games they told me they did not have enough money in the register to return I said okay do they have enough for one game the attendance started to argue with me and try to rush me out of the store I ended up leaving with one game exchanged they kept my wii switch remote did NOT refund the money they did not give me a receipt and then ignored me when i tryed to talk to them threw the glass to get my receipt. THE WORST GAMESTOP IN HOUSTON.

It was horrible there was a lady there b4 me with her kids that the cashier seem to be very helpful and educational on the game so she left and he asked me how could he help me so i explained that i was just trying to put insurance on the game systems and i had the receipts in my hand.This male decided that he needed to see the systems b4 he could put insurance on them.So i left unhook the systems brought it to the store on I10&Uvalde and was informed that all o needed was my receipt.This store location literally sent me through unecessaey energy and time all because he didnt want to give me insurance on a game system itss too bad there isnt a negative 1 rating option cause for the uneccessary different changes i went through based on a lie this location deserve a negative 5(-5)!!!!!!!!
