I love this location! Bedrock is clean, well organized and fun to browse. I always enjoy checking out the employee recommendations. They also have some great displays showcasing diverse artists, which is awesome to see. I’d recommend this store to an experienced reader or someone new to the hobby. It’s a plus that that take Covid safety protocol seriously, and I can’t thank them enough for that. It’s great being able to shop at a store and actually feel safe. The management at this location deserve some serious props. Thank you Bedrock! I’ll be a customer for a long time.

Ive been coming to all the locations cross Houston since 1998. Bedrock City Comic company is a staple Houston for everything related to comics buy Marvel DC Dark Horse and etcetera. They have every collectible pop model in store that it will blow your mind. They have great toys, lanyards, stickers, manga, front door floor mats, t-shirts, all forms of collectible cards and many many more. The staff is highly knowledgeable without being condescending or rude when asked almost any question from a beginner to a Avid collector. So if you are looking for that perfect comic book flash collectible store go to any one of the locations in Houston and you will not be disappointed.

I wish I had more time to stay in Houston. This shop is like every comic book or superhero fans candy store. The selections are incredible. The staff were so genuine and relatable. Tried to help me locate a product through multiple stores. Also gave us good recommendations for Tacos. Awesome place to visit! I’ll be back for sure if I get the chance!

Nice collection of figures, the workers are cool but one day I had came into the store to check out the props on the wall and some kid who Idk if he worked there or not but he was pointing the plastic gun at me and I was fearing for my life . Also I had to use the restroom one time I came in so I used it in the Captain America statue in the back of the store . 10/10 store

I preordered two statues back in February which were coming out April and May, i called multiple times every month from april until today and i was assured that im still on the list, my preorders were on their way and they will come in. Today, i called again to see whats up with my pre orders, long and behold, the guy said they will not come in and he doesnt know what happened. Of course you dont!The company no longer exist and is not making anything -then you probably shouldnt have taken my orders! And you shouldnt have assured me 5 times that my orders are on their way.

Nice place to hunt toys and these peolpe know the market and will even order stuff for you when they dont have it but what I like the most is chatting with the manager about toys because he knows his stuff .A lot of toy stores are just selling them but dont know any thing so this place is a gem for real collectors and not all the new mcu fanboys jumping on the bandwagon. See you guys soon on another hunt .

Prices are fair and had alot of comics to look through. Alright section for pops and a good amount of figurines. Would definitely go back but only thing I would change would be customer services alittle bit. The person that was checking us out was passive aggressive.

This location was very out of the way for us since we live further North of Houston. Overall the trip was not worth it since the location offers the same variaty of comics as any other BRCC at the same prices. However, the location of this store leaves a very tight and small parking lot making it difficult to leave. The layout of the store also seemed off its a very cramped shop, D&D items were scattered in various odd areas near the registers, funkos were oddly displayed in small alcoves and so were TPB making it awkward for more than 1 person to view them, and statues/figures were completely out of reach to inspect without having to ask someone. Unless you specifically live in this area where this is the closest comic shop to you I honestly wouldnt recommend it.Extra note: The staff was very friendly and polite.

The comic selections are great but sadly can’t say the same for the hired employees with one looking like the comic book guy straight from the Simpsons.

A little light on the premium books. It probably was picked clean since covid. I typically want to pick up 2-4 silver or bronze age books off a wall but the key date wall was picked over. The staff was great and they were busy. Ill try and go back and see if the high end stuff returns.

They were very stocked with the comics that I needed and very helpful.

Their inventory focused mostly on comics, of which they had a large selection, but they also had plenty of other fun toys and bits of memorobelia. The owners were very helpful and keep the shop clean and well maintained

I brought my daughter here for her first real comic book buying experience. I also wanted to re-spark my interest so I acted as if we were both new. The gentleman who helped us with was not only very knowledgeable but also understanding of our financial restrictions and was also very patient with helping us to the point where you could see he loved explaining what we were looking for. If you are looking to buy any comic book literature, this store is a must.

This comic shop does a lot of outreach with HISD, so I love that. I also love that they have a teen section and a younger section. Just wish the place was bigger and had board games.

I used to go to another comic book store but this is my go to now. I always find amazing prices for minor keys and even keys . They have great sales on back issues. The staff is amazing and are always helpful with finding comics that they might not have.

The comic shop is ok, but the workers are less than stellar. Pretentious and kind of rude, ultimately unhelpful. With the plethora of comic shops, not sure I’ll make it a point to return.

Such a fun place for children and adults. Comics, action figures, graphic tees and more. If they dont have it, they can probably order it for you. The Washington store is my main store, but staff at all the locations Ive visited have been knowledgeable and friendly.

This employee kept almost yelling at my friend because his mask was falling below his nose. His eyes were literally on us the whole time as if he was the mask police. I understand the times we are in but there are better ways for a business to treat their customers. I spend about $50 that day but wont go back.

Cant complain. It seems cleaned. They help with whatever youre looking for.

I traveled to Houston for the Royal Rumble and I wanted to check out a local comic book shop. I’m glad I found Bedrock. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.The shop had a big selection of books, figures and statues. There was something for everyone, the shop was clean and everything was displayed and organized well.Next time I go to Houston I will make it a point to visit Bedrock, thanks.

Bedrock is a place of comfort and awesomeness. The employees are real friendly and always looking to help you in anyway from something simple as looking for a comic book to listen to you rant as to which spiderman from what universe is the better one among the rest, and if they might not have a certain item you are looking for they will go out of their way and help find it among their other store locations and will even be on the look out when it comes into their hands. The place is really rated E for everyone when it comes to their reading materials from young beginners to older folks and even toys and games. You just cant get enough of this place.

My favorite Bedrock City location bar none. More loose toys at affordable prices and has rekindled my inner kid nerd. The staff can either help you or leave you alone. I prefer the 2nd option, which is great. The staff told me to give them a review on Yelp, but I just dont know what that is. Regardless, this location is A plus.

It was not as great as the one on Westheimer! They had limited supply of the comic books we like. The t-shirts are mostly childrens sizes. The staff kept asking us if we needed help...wonder why? Then when we did ask for help they didnt have what I was looking for, so that will more than likely be my last trip to that location.

Maybe have a time limit for customers if you’re only letting in 10 at a time

Amazing comic book store. I love this place, they’re really helpful. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Texas. They’ve given me great recommendations over the years. There’s more locations so if one of them doesn’t have what you need they’ll check the other stores and more often than not they’ll get it for you.

Great comic book shop! They have an awesome comic book selection as well as a lot of cool toys and fan merch. They even support local artists. Service here is also amazing! A while back. I called hoping to see if they had a figure in stock. They didnt have it, but they ordered one and had it sent to a Bedrock location that was actually closer to me. They definitely earned these 5 stars!

A bit small but they had a huge selection of comic books, novels, figurines among other things but I just wish they had more Gambit related items. I would buy so many. Great place to be and at the time of visiting there was a book signing that seemed to be going well.

I was searching for a Wonder Woman gift for my grand daughter and Matt was incredibly helpful. I was able to buy a WW piggy bank and a dictionary of comic book history on the character. I really dont know anything about Comic books and would most likely never enter a store like this but now I feel like a collector, and a kid at heart. You wont be disappointed in this place.

Ive been to this location twice. My latest visit was the last day of the Spring Sale. I purchased a Black Widow Civil War Hot Toys figure for a great price!! Even though there were a lot of people there the staff was ready to help and brought my figure down from the shelf quickly. This location ranks very high on the list of Bedrock City Comics I have visited. Theres a great selection.

Great store with a large selection. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about, but I do prefer my smaller, more personable LCS for regular visits.

Jason was amazing. Not only did he help me find my obscure back issues but he was also knowledgeable and FUN to chat with. I watched him treat several customers (two different children among them) as though they were longtime regulars even though a few were clearly walk ins! They have Tons of toys, trades, AND BACK ISSUES including many $1.00 comics!!! Ian checked me out and continued the royal treatment. I got GREAT deals and had a top notch experience. As an out of town comic book store hunter I appreciate “the good ones”. The Washington Ave location was my favorite of the 3 different Badrocks I visited. A++ Thanks again James!!!

This place is my toy store even though Im not a traditional comic book enthusiast. It really does accommodate all types and the staff have never made me feel inferior to the elitist-types. I take my son here often for small rewards and to expose him to heroes. The staff also make him feel special and heard and they have always had great customer service! If they ate out of something, they will order it for you or call around to see if theres another location that has it. Please support their hard work if you have an opportunity to.

I took my niblings here for their first time in a comic book store, and the guys at the counter were helpful in tracking down Pokemon books for my oldest nephew. They were really patient and nice with us and I sincerely appreciated it.

My grandson just turned 11 when he was about 5 I took him to the one on 1960 which is kind of far and he fell in love with it. So I used it as a reward for something he had done good like school. Thats what I used to do with my now twenty-year-old son! Trip to the comic book store!So happy to have one close to me. Thank you!

Great store but i was cheated out 1 shirt I ordered. I know I am cheap, but I caught one of there mistakes. They had a dragon ball shirt for 0.00. So I ordered one for my daughter. They called me it was ready, and they were charging but i showed them my email order confirmation and that I still had to pay. But it was 0.00. I believe the price should of been honored. I just left.

This comic book store is no ordinary comic store. It is the comic book store in a very good area! It is rather small but the good part is they put really good items for sell at an affordable price recommend going back the only thing is it is near a really good bakery so parking is hard to find at times.

While they have some good stuff, I find it over-priced and the trade deal I was just offered was one of the most insulting offers I have ever heard. I was offered less than 100 for a large number of items, about 20 in total. 4 of the items alone were worth 100 together. I only came here once before. But after this visit I will never set foot in this store again. Buyers try to negotiate and sellers, avoid this store at all costs. Youre better off on ebay or at the other shops

What a neat little store 😊 They have everything DC and Marvel and so many pop culture specialty items. They sell POP figures, action figures, and collectible items. All along the back wall are rare/special edition comics. If you dont want to spend the big bucks, they do have a HUGE selection of every series of comic book you can think of including my favorite, Deadpool. Im definitely coming back!
