When no one could provide services to met my needs, this office did it without batting an eye & I cant say enough about this office and their staff! As a new patient and having had a bad experience at a completely different eye Dr elsewhere a couple of years ago, I was a bit apprehensive to get an eye exam at a new place. However, I was nervous for no reason at all. They were friendly and helpful. They took their time, they explained everything along the way. They listened to my concerns and took the time to work with me on my options given where I am in my eye journey. I tried contacts for the first time and they were so patient teaching me how to put them in and take them out. I was relieved when I left. Dr. Skidmore is very thorough. She takes time to carefully explain your options, and you never feel rushed. Their office staff is great, too. I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Charrier. He answered a number of troubling questions for me and he provided me with a new prescription which noticeably improved my visual acuity. The doctors are not only exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable, but they sincerely care about their patients. I am really disappointed at the way this optometrist treats patients. I came to them from a reference from an eye surgeon not knowing their incompetence. They were only able to fit me for the right eyes and telling me that the left eye is hard to fit. I trusted their opinion and continued on their judgement. However, after years of spending thousands of dollars, I became to understand their true mission. They have no since of commitment to any patients. It is about appointments and taking as much money from you as possible. I am sorry that I wasted my Insurance and my money on this practice.

When I finished my appointment with Dr. Ebling, she had carefully reviewed high definition photos of my eyes taken by her professional staff in addition to carefully checking through the various details of my vision. After conferring with Dr. Ebling, I met with Chasity Prelow about ordering lenses and frames. Chasity is excellent. This is a very fine place.

Ive been seeing Dr. Charrier at Family Vision Solutions for years. I can testify, without reservation, that his superlative skill is only matched by his compassion and dedication to his practice and his patients. I have complicated eye problems resulting from two traumatic injuries. I now only have vision in one eye, and that eye has been through multiple surgeries, including trauma repairs, a lens implant, cornea transplant, and scleral buckle. As a result, a have frequent changes in my vision, and a difficult refraction. I have been treated by, and continue to see, the best eye surgeons in the city. Every one of these top ophthalmologists has recommended Dr. Charrier as the only person for me to see for my optometry needs. Simply put, he is the best at what he does. Moreover, he has always made me feel like he genuinely cared about the personal difficulties Ive experienced surrounding my condition, and has treated me with understanding and compassion. This place gave me hope, I was so use to being turn down from various well know Houston Doctors. Im not saying that those Doctors arent good at their jobs, but my Keratoconus is to advance, and basically there is no cure. But 2 years ago I found a Doctor that help me get my vision back with surgery, and I got my life back, this Doctors help me for almost 2 years, but my keratoconus on my eyes was progressing more, and they said that my vision is getting worse and that Im free to look around for different options That broke my heart, and I said to my self, what other Doctors are there I been to all of them. So one day while doing research at 2 AM, I found a Doctor name Randy Charrier, from Family vision, I stared doing research on him, and I was amazed about all his accompaniments. But I didnt want to get my hopes up. So the same morning I called them to make an appointment, and I stared asking questions, and the nice lady responded you know what Ima tell him to call you instead I said to my self YEA RIGHT HE AINT GANA CALL ME. 20 minutes later I ate my own words, Dr Charrier returned my call, and answer all my questions. So the very next day I got a appointment. I was surprised that this doctor was so dedicated on me. He treated me like if I was his little brother. Him, and Doctor Skidmore, intern Jamie and staff when above and beyond just for one patient. IF YOU GET DENIED BY ANY EYE DOCTOR DONT THINK TWICE JUST GO WITH THEM. My Vision is today is 20/20

Because of RK eye surgery from decades ago, Id been challenging many eye docs for many years to fit me for glasses (much less contacts). Ive been wearing both sucessfully for several years now after being referred to Dr. Randy. I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Charrier is a phenomenal eye doctor! He and his staff go above and beyond what is required by them to ensure their patient’s needs are met, even if that means going the extra mile. I told Dr. Charrier that my contacts were in my bag that was stolen on a trip and without hesitation, gave me a few extra sample contacts to last me until I was able to order a new supply with the new prescription. I like how Family Vision Solutions use state of the art computer/machine technology that together take a wide array of different examinations and scans of your eye so doctors can accurately exam your eye without having to dilate. I also asked Dr. Charrier a simple question of what causes poor eyesight. He took the time to get out a 3D model of an eye and elaborately show me all the different conditions and events that could happen within an eye to cause eyesight to deteriorate. It was very interesting and he didn’t have to do that. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Charrier to family, friends, and everyone.

I love Dr. Charrier and his staff; everyone is so courteous and helpful. He is so thorough with my eye exams that I feel my eyes are in the best care. I had radial keratotomy in the 80’s and my previous eye specialist said there was nothing more he could do for me to improve my sight and that I would never pass another driver’s eye exam. I was terrified since I was only 69 and my husband had passed away a few months before.I was referred to Dr. Charrier since he was holding a clinical trial for my problem. He informed me that one of the side effects of the radial keratotomy was that some people’s corneas collapsed and mine were. He fit me with schelara lens and I am 72 and just passed my driver’s eye exam! I see so well. I recommend this business highly and am so grateful for them.
