Ive been a customer for over 5 years. Its family owned and operated and the staff there makes me feel like a family member. Dr. Kotecha is very thorough and does his best to make sure he has answered all of your questions before you leave the office but is open to answering any additional questions you may have after you leave. They have a great variety of frames to choose from and Tina is instrumental in helping me understand my insurance benefits. I recommend them for all your vision needs.

Dr. K is a great optometrist and the rest of the staff is very helpful with picking out glasses. I was a bit confused why they put luxury in the name, but after working with them, I understand that its because you will be treated very, very well here, and they make sure of it. You never have to wait, they only work with you one-on-one, and the brands they carry are high quality, varied, and they have relationships with each of them. Its not just the same Luxxotica brands that most places have. Overall a great experience.

Dr. Kotecha and his staff are wonderful, caring and very professional. I received the best eye exam possible. Dr. K takes into consideration the whole person and used the latest high-tech equipment to scan my retina and check the blood vessels in my retina for hemorrhages, etc. Very thorough. I am a physician myself and I was most impressed. I highly recommend Dr. Kotecha. He is an outstanding, as is his staff.

I had great experience with Dr. Deepak. Dr. cares about his patients, spends quite a bit of time diagnosing the eye & catches things that other places have overlooked. His experience in working with common issues of the eye is quite beneficial. He’s an excellent consult for anything related to eyes.

I love this place! My husband purchased glasses from here. We recently had to get a screw tightened on his glasses so we went in. The customer service was still so amazing. Elia was professional and kind. They also have a really good selection, upscale designers which we love. We will definitely be purchasing more frames from here.

When I first walked into The Eye Glassiers of Houston, I was a bit intimidated. Im not a very fashionable person. In fact, at a young age I was diagnosed as having a severe style allergy. But I wanted to change all that, and if Im going to do a head to toe transformation, I might as well start at the top. Id noticed the little boutique located in Uptown Park many times, as Im a frequent visitor to the University Co-op, which is located next door. My intimidation was quickly allayed by the doctor and his friendly staff. Their friendly and helpful attitude miraculously got me out of my comfort zone, fashion wise, without making me feel the slightest bit of discomfort. The frames they recommended, and which I eventually purchased, from a designer by the name of Waza, are light years removed from the pair I walked in wearing. And believe me, this is a good thing. However, the best frames that money can buy are nothing without the proper prescription. In this regard, The Eye Glassiers of Houston delivered once again. The Dr. provided me with a script that not only improved my vision, but coupled with the very latest in glasses technology, even managed to significantly reduce my frequent headaches.

Dr. Kotehca is great. Very friendly, professional, kind, and a wonderful eye doctor. He made us feel comfortable, gave us lots of instructions throughout the exam, and explained everything in detail. Highly recommended!

They dont call Dr.K the EYE GURU for nothing! He is the best eye doctor in Houston in my opinion! He has been our Dr. for over 16 years now and everyone we send to him is impressed with his professionalism, kindness and state-of-the art equipment!*For example I sent a friend whos daughter had injured her eye and she had been to 3 doctors already all whom said she needed immediate surgery due to blister/injury and Dr.K took 1 look at it and discovered the not only that she did NOT NEED SURGERY but had a fine splinter her eye that needed to be removed by an office visit! He has great experience and background... I guess working at MD Anderson Cancer Center/eye Dr there taught him more than anyone else can see! Trust me Dr.Kotcheca is amazing, I promise youll thank me for writing this review!

Im was visiting from Canada and had an eye problem emergency. I was able to get an appointment quickly and had a very thorough exam. I was very impressed with Deepak Kotechas gentle and caring mannerism and his vast medical eye knowledge. He truly is one the best optometrist ever!

After 2 years overseas, my husband and I have returned to the US and are in temp housing near the Houston Galleria--a part of town were not familiar with. One of the temple pieces on my German sunglasses fell off and I took a stab in the dark by popping into this business while running errands. Optician Elia Garza very kindly popped the mechanism back into place with a quick flick of her wrist and the thing was done. She then cleaned the glasses for me and handed them over, good as new and free of charge. Repatriation is a stressful process and thanks to Elia, this problem at least, is crossed off the list! We will remember this place when we need new glasses.

I was really impressed with the services of Dr Kotecha, he showed genuine interest in my health. Ive never had an eye exam that was that thorougher - I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I had LASIK done years ago and loved the results. Unfortunately, the past months I started to notice my shooting scores declining (not that my scores are really good in the first place, but hey I need all the help I can get) and some eye irritation driving at night. My wife searched online and found Eye Glassiers, Dr. Kotecha. She called and had an appointment set in minutes for the next day. We received a welcome email from the practice shortly after scheduling my appointment, filled out the 1-page medical history, and went on with my day. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. I wish other medical practices were that organized.It was great to not have to struggle to find parking as Dr. Kotecha’s patients have assigned parking at the office’s front door. We walked in and found the lobby/waiting area very quiet and welcoming. They have a huge selection of glasses to choose from. Elia, Optician, welcomed us PERSONALLY BY OUR NAMES before we even sat down. Must be a trend in the office as Dr. Kotecha came out to the waiting area and welcomed us again BY NAME. It’s just refreshing to have the Doctor walk up front, greet the patient personally by name with a handshake, and invite them into their practice. My wife and I have asked each other when the last time that happened.Dr. Kotecha listened to my struggles and we had a conversation not an interrogation. Dr. Kotecha was very polite as he endured all my questions. (Yes, I’m one of those patients) He walked me through a number of painless basic sight exams, some painless hi-tech scanning thing-a-ma-gig all while answering all my questions and sharing his knowledge. He assessed my previous LASIK work and I was glad to hear my LASIK doc did a good job. All in all, Dr. Kotecha’s bedside manner is truly stellar.In the end, my wife and sister both made appointments and I ended up needing glasses.
