I love this location. I was greeted at the door and explained what I wanted to do and the young lady automatically put me with someone that knew exactly what I wanted. Roslyn was awesome I went on a date later that day and received many compliments on my ombré lips 👄. Thank you so much for the combinations. I’ll definitely be back for more products. ❤️❤️❤️

I love the convenience of this store. They mostly have what I’m looking for when I go here and most of the staff is friendly. However, today I had somewhat of a negative experience with an older lady with a short pixie cut. She was quite rude to me. I was looking for a specific roller ball perfume, which the area was extremely disorganized with opened perfume packaging all over. There were 2 types of the perfume I was looking for and they only had one in the roller ball section. It did not have a label of which one it was and it was already opened like most of the other perfumes. So I picked it up to see which one it was. The manager walked up to me saying “ Do you need help? You’re not allowed to open the merchandise, we have to damage out anything opened.” I tried to explain to her that it was already open and that I did not open it. She just repeated herself and walked away toward the back of the store. I don’t know if I’ll return here. I won’t spend my money where anyone is rude to me, especially unwarranted.

Ive always had good answers by phone to confirm if a product is in stock. Occasionally if an item is a hot buy ill ask to place it on hold for pickup and havent had an issue. Overall, 5 stars for being my happy place

Today my grandma and I were trying to go to Ulta to return something. However, it completely left our minds that it closes at 6. We got there exactly at 6 and right when we were about to open the door, this lady that works there, locks the door and she just walked away from the door. I understand that they were closed so we went to the car, when i was walking into the car, i saw that a client was going in and the lady unlocked the door for her. So I decided to go back to the door, and she told me that they’re closed. I find it very messed up and very discriminative.

This location leaves something to be desired. I’ve found customer service (in terms of finding someone to help you on the floor) is a problem at any Ulta. So I can’t hold that against them. However, it seems the products themselves get no care in areas where they should. Not too long after they opened, all the Essie nail polish was separated. Not just settled, which I understand. It was separated with all the pigment at the bottom and the watery portion floating on top. For every bottle. If it’s a new location why does your product look so unappealing and like it’s been in a storeroom for ages? With that little effort for a popular brand when they should have been showing off for an opening, I was turned off and didn’t return for quite a while. The next time I went (a couple months ago) they were out of the “universal” tone of every eyebrow pencil in the style I needed. Being out of anything universal in 4-5 brands across the board shows a bit of negligence in ordering and/or stocking. On the same visit, they only had 1 option of tweezers in stock when other locations will have close to 10. So the store is fine - just don’t expect they’ll have everything you need in stock.

I have been to their salon twice now and I’ve had a pleasant experience both times! The first time I went, I got 4-dimensional highlights and I was so nervous for the blonde highlights. I wasn’t confident that it would look good, but Geri, my hair stylist, talked me through the whole process and put my mind at ease. She’s very kind and patient! I ended up loving my hair and came back to her the second time! The results were just as amazing as the first time. Will definitely be going back!

I only gave this place 2 stars because it is a beauty store! This location deserves 1 star, I did not feel welcomed as I entered the store, When I asked for help the associates didn’t seem like they were happy to help me, their was only 1 smiling face a young lady behind the register...I ended up going to Macy’s and purchased all that I needed there. Quality over Quantity!

I just was in the store about 7:30 pm today with my friend and this was my first time coming in here.But I felt so uncomfortable and uninvited I just immediately walked out.This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star rating. There was a woman with short maybe a pixie cut hair who walked right up to me, glaring at my purse and same time just walked away.... didn’t even greet me properly and it sparked my ptsd. Assuming that I am coming to steal is very derogatory.So yeah, so please people. Do not come here.

I must say this Ulta Beauty location is the brightest, most organized, and well-put-together cosmetics store I have visited in quite a while. Not to mention every employee- from the sales associates to the cashiers- was friendly, open, and beyond helpful. Will definitely be back!

Place is poorly stocked. When I went, an older African American lady who I believe is the manager kept walking around me, asking if Im okay while continuing to walk off without a smile or any positive facial expressions... so it felt really weird. I felt I could not get my own space or almost like I was being watched. Around 8:27 pm she starts noisily pulling down all the window blinds so I figured the behavior I experienced was more about her wanting to close up earlier than anything else. Will not be back to this location.

Nice clean store. Customer service is extremely lacking. Watch out for the rugs at front door but dont think when you fall you will get any help and definatly no care or concern. Lady just came behind me and straightened the rug.

They do not answer the phone. I called three times and dialed the option to speak to someone until the system finally just kept kicking me back to the main menu. The line rang probably 12 times in total of the three calls I made. Ridiculous.

Im here all the time🕛🕞🕒. I dont really collect names unless I have too☝️ this location have great ambiance as well as great staff. The store is well organized stocked competitive pricing and clean. The ladies have flawless cosmetics friendly demeanor I have never exp otherwise. I spend 20 mins to an hour here and I feel comfortable coming here versus by online.

Just like other reviewers, this location has things left to be desired. To start positive, the location is great (as its close to home) and the store is kept clean and decently stocked. They also seem to get new releases stocked on time on whatever release day it may be. However, customer service is very lacking, if not at least inconsistent. I dont have issues about greeting upon walking in cause I dont care much for that, but I do care when associates are inconsistent with service. Some are absolutely wonderful and others seem to hardly care and would much rather talk among themselves. I can understand dealing with customers can often times be hard, as customer service is my job too, but with the number of times I get some sort of issue here, Id rather go to the memorial location if want to physically go to check items out. Maybe one day Ill consider visiting this location again, but more than likely never again.

So, I felt very uncomfortable yesterday, I went into the store and was followed around like I was going to steal. The lady who was following me watched go down every aisle that I was in She even tried to YELL at me while I was looking at a package saying that I couldnt open it I wasnt the package was already open in front of everybody. I really like this location in comparison to other Ulta locations. The staff is always welcoming and helpful regardless if you’re buying brand name products or not they are very knowledgeable about the products and take the time to help you decide and pick the right one for you.

Manager was rude i recorded a vid of my daughter just to add to snapchat and she tells me in a rude way i can’t do any recording of the makeup and i told her it was just a video of my daughter and she told me none of that ! She startled my daughter and made my shopping uncomfortable .. i don’t mind we couldn’t record in the store but the way she spoke to me was so rude .. other than that the other girls (cashiers) were very helpful. Always understaffed. Testers always filthy. I went in for the specific item I wanted and it took me 45 minutes from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left with my purchase even though it took me maybe 3 minutes tops to find it and get in line. I feel sorry for the employees honestly they dont have time to clean because it always seems like this. Ulta can do better.

If they could give me an option to give no stars, I would have chosen that. They are not helpful at all. I would ask a question, they would answer briefly: “No, just Sephora”. Typically, with good customer service, they would help you find a similar product. No, that did not happen. When I would give eye contact with any of the workers, they would turn away and also after saying “ excuse me “ . I was excited to buy a few products even “if they helped me find some substitutes”. Even with the entire experience, I was annoyed that my girlfriend gave them business by purchasing Gucci guilty. Oh did I mention they wanted to help after she was walking off with a Gucci product. Terrible.

Kirsten did an AMAZING job on my hair. Ive always been scared to go blonde because my previous experiences havent been so good. She listened to all of my concerns and was sooooooo patient. She never took any shortcuts to get me out of there faster. I highly recommend her. While I was there all the other salon stylists were so friendly and nice as well. Will definitely come again!

The other negative reviews are right. While the store is clean and stocked well, customer service is not a priority at this location. I stood in line while the only cashier was doing a return. I waited over 10 minutes with nobody else in front of me, while other staff members were gossiping with one another and not attending to the few customers there. They opened up a second register only when the line got up to 4 people. This store needs a management makeover.

The worst salon experience I ever had. They spent three hours doing my ‘simple hairstyle’ that lasts me less than 15 minutes after leaving the salon and I had to redo it myself.My appointment supposed to be at 2 for hair and makeup and they started doing my hair at 3. I was late for my party for like 45 minuets. They finished my hair at 5 then I had to do my makeup at home. Very unprofessional service.

So surprised by the bad reviews, right when I walked in the was greeted, I was looking for a mothers day gift for my wife and had not idea where to even start to look for. A sweet lady walked the entire store with me and showed me some great ideas, and suggested a gIFT card from thier salon. My wife love her gifts and was also very happy the cashier sign her up for some kind of point system they have. I would recommend giving this store a chance!

I have tried to give this location a chance because it is so close to home, but it will be the last time I visit. The customer service just leaves so much to be desired. It feels as if they pick and choose the people that they want to help. I had one lady who at least greeted me when I came in which is much better than the last few visits. And it pains me that I dropped such a large amount of money in here today...seriously considering returning it all. Ill just travel to the next nearest location from now on...the customer service experience is night and day. This location just has such a bad, unwelcoming vibe... from entering to leaving.

The two lady’s there with pixie hair cut and the other is the manager her name I believer is apryan something near it was so rude been walking around us all the time and saying they are calling the police and the police is outside. They made us feel so uncomfortable and they were so rude and with bad attitude after an hour of walking around us. We went to check out so we asked to speak to the manager the lady showed up with bad bad attitude and felt like she just want to fight. And she said I’m the manager. So my sister was telling her why u guys watching us do u think I’m stealing she said are u? The manager said that. What kind of manager speaks like this to the coustomers. So unprofessional they are not training good Bad experience with ulta people do not go there. I’m calling corporate and I’m going to sue her for what she done. This store is the one with the worst customer service! Almost every associate is rude and stuckup! I work as a beauty person too and i dont even act like that. Its always at this store! Thats why i stay going to the one by my house in richmond, they have amazing customer service. Theres this 1 older women in her 40s or so with short pixie hair dark skin, tall that had a bad attitude since we walked in. It so happend that my mom needed a foundation and we wore near this one. Otherwise i would not step a foot here. Im calling corporate or someone to make sure she gets her act together. This store just makes you feel uninvited. I read other reviews and i saw one naming the same lady with pixie hair. You guys seem not to care about customers if you really keep someone like her around. Every time I go, theyre out of stock for most of the products that Im looking for. Products are disorganized sometimes. Only 1 person in the floor trying to help everyone at the same time and its very hard to find makeup remover, pads or anything to help you clean up after testing out makeup.

Worst customer service ever and never coming back to this location again. Came for a sale and was the first person inside the store when the doors opened. Turns out the item that I grabbed that I thought was on sale, that I specifically saw the employee put up front, was actually not the item on sale! I did not realize this till I went to pay for it and by then it was too late because it was sold out because they had only like 15 of the items to begin with!!! I was very angry and left and later called asking for the manager, her name is Chantel (or however you spell it) to explain my situation, and it turns out that she was the one that put them there in the first place and would not take the fault for it. It was very disappointing to me because I spent my time, gas, and energy for this sale just to be lied to at the end. She claimed that the only thing that she could do was give me 10% off when the item was supposed to be 50% off. I work in a place where I am supposed to put customers first and she did not show any of that. I later called customer service and spoke to someone and they helped me out with my situation. This is definitely the worst experience I have ever had at any retail store. Chantel is a very bad manager and employee and either needs to be retrained or replaced. This location just lost a very loyal customer.

Dont understand all the bad reviews. I agree that there are many Ultas that need to improve their areas of customer service, but CS at this store always are cheerful and helpful. Ive never had any problems, which is really out of the norm for Ulta. I usually shop online, but I enjoy going to this store. Maybe there has been a recent change in management or employees since the bad reviews, but the current manager here is always super helpful and there seem to be plenty of nice staff on the floor and register.

Ive always had a great experience at this location since opening. Never had a problem with employees or customer service. As a matter of fact Julie did my daughters prom makeup and she did a great job. She was originally schedule with Bandu but they scheduled her off. I know for sure during that time period of April/May they were without management and their dispositions were better but the store was in disarray. I think they just need the right team leaders to help guide them to be better customer service providers in the beauty industry. Now the Sugarland location to stuck up, hint I always travel to Eldridge or Hwy 99 locations. Always great service in my opinion.

This store is really close to my house Sunday morning I went to the store and a guy walked in the store and after 5 min he passed by me with his jacket full of perfume I could hear and see it was so full and he just left the store I really got scared I think they should keep some sort of security in the store I felt so unsafe. Love love love this location.Super clean and well lit on the inside. I like how they have Morphe here as well, it’s so much bigger than most of the other Ultas. The manager I talked to, Robyn was so helpful and got me set up with the new 35V palette and a super cute liquid lip. Will definitely come back again soon.A tip: check their site for coupons. One of the other employees showed me a 20% coupon on the ulta website.

Beware of this place if you are of different ethnicity with speaking multiple language. I went here to buy some product o, on the check out I had the lady KERA on the checkout commented me I need to learn English, Racist like someone has commented before. I am in shock in this day and age you have people on the customer service speak to a customer like this. I do speak English pretty well, I can only imagine how she treats people who dont. Although, I should give Gage props for handling the situation the way he did.

Worst customer service ever. I went there one time on Sunday and I got there around 5:55 pm. One employee name Casidy ran to the door and shout the door on me. She almost hit the door on my hand. I told her that store hours are until 6 pm but she didnt care and she said her manager told her to close the store early. Any how I did end up going inside the store. I asked the manager name Nicole that why did she close the store early? And she gave me a attitude about it. I will stop shopping at Ulta just because I didnt expect a bad attitude from a manager. The Ulta store on Elridge in Houston really need to work on their customer service especially Ms Nicole. Her attitude really disappoint me and she is making company lose loyal customers.

Horrible customer service. I walked in, there was a group of employees just talking and laughing. I went up to them to ask for assistance but they were too busy in their conversation that I was literally standing there saying excuse me, loud and clear for a good minute until I decided to walk away. It seemed like the supervisor was the main one continuing the conversation which is worse, youd think youd pause the conversation to help out a customer. I honestly was so irritated with it that I got what I needed and went to pay. Come to find out the item I got was considered a prestige cosmetic and the coupon in their flyer doesnt apply to my purchase. I paid for my foundation and left. Ill be making the drive to Sephora for better customer service.

Customer service sucks here. I regularly shop at ulta and I just moved to the area, so I’ve been to this one twice. Both visits were uncomfortable especially the one from yesterday. I have not required assistance from staff in this location before, but they always offer their help. My low star review is due to availability of stock, this locations is 5 minutes from my house and I it is actually my place of choice when i need a little time away from the house. I have gone on several occasions and leave with nothing simply because they have yet to re-stock. I havent had to return anything, I did buy a lipstick that i was unhappy with but did not return since I cant find my receipt. the times i have witnessed a return(on more than one occassion) the manager(blonde short hair) seems to give a really hard time which leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Something you dont experience in Sephora easy return no questions!

RUDE customer service. I called to see if they had a concealer & the lady said she would go look. I was put on hold for 13 minutes then heard a phone ring and someone in the background say hey & got hung up on! So I called back & another lady named asia I believe answered the phone & when I told her what happened all she could say was oh well I havent answered the phone all day & oh, hmm like no sorry for that happening? So I ask to speak to a manager & when the manager gets on the phone I tell her what happens & she says that it was her who answered my call the first time and that she just got busy. I give One star for the salon employee who did my hair and the price ~ the employee was nice however, when I made the appointment in person I asked her do she know how to do African American natural hair ~ she said yes and she had did a customer the day before ~ well she lied ~ I asked her do I need a trim or did I have split ends ~ she said I need a trim and a little top cut ~ a wash, blow dryer, flat iron = $47 and a trim little cut = $37.50 ~ for $37.50 for a trim ~ she said thats the normal price for a trim/cut heck I should have gotten my hair cut into a style for that price!!!#hotmesshair #highwayprice

I was visiting the newly opened location @ 2372 Eldridge Parkway, Houston, TX yesterday evening between 6:30pm and 7:15pm. When I initially arrived the store had maybe 12 guests on the floor. At 1st, I was looking for a particular IT eyeshadow brush but since the display was a wreck I asked for assistance. (Photo available). The young Filipina(?) lady put forth minimal effort then said sorry and walked off without even looking at me. I ended up digging through the disaster myself to find the brush. THEN I was in the hair styling tools area and asked an employee about the HOT TOOLS special. She replied I dont know I work in the salon and walked off. I was like...wow. At least while I was shopping, another associate offered me a bag to carry my items. Then to top it off by the time I checked out it was busy, the lady who checked me out (manager?) completely lacked courtesy. As she rang me up, I told her I had a coupon and set it next to her hand. I pointed out she didnt apply the coupon and she said oh then the new total. I paid. No smile. No thank you. What I did get as I was getting my receipt was a rude bye and a shoo hand gesture. I get being tired and rushed from several guests. I have been there. I wasnt dawdling or rude. I said hello and offered brief smiles when I engaged all the the associates/managers when asking for service. The treatment I received tonight was offensive and degrading. Evidently leadership here is lacking. I facebook messaged Ulta and got a quick response that the issue was addressed. Not sure how since the store was already closed at the time I messaged the page. I felt that I was given a token response. Ive frequented the River Oaks and Town&Country locations with only fun and positive experiences.This location was truly offensive. Only an apology would have me return.

Please read bottom for updated review....Ive been in here multiple times (maybe 10) since theyve opened. Items have been out of stock on every visit. On one visit, I inquired with an associate if all of the IT cosmetic brushes were synthetic. She did not know and proceeded to ask me about different brush types. Im disappointed that their staff has no knowledge of basic beauty tools. Upon my next visit the store had closed earlier ten mins earlier than the sign read. On my visit today, an employee walked through the front of the store saying where the f*** are the keys so I can get out of here. A women next to me with her small children over heard this as well. Other sales associates were going on about how they had bought products that are now sold out/ constantly sold out. Apparently they take first pick over customers. Lastly as I approached the register, the cashier walked off after the previous customer without saying a word to me. Thankfully Nia stepped up and was very helpful. That woman deserves a raise because she is dealing with very unprofessional, rude and ignorant women. They may be beautiful but beauty doesnt mean youre good with customers or that you have any knowledge of beauty products. These people made me feel like I shouldnt even be in their store and I certainly wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. Ive placed a complaint about my experience with their guest services so I reeeeeally hope some great changes will come to this location. Ive had great experiences at the memorial location. Make the switch to a different location or check out sephora.... *UPDATE* one month later.... this store has changed a TON! They got a different manger who has transferd from a different store. They have an entirely different crew in there! Items are well stocked and employees are helpful! Im so grateful ulta made the changes their customers were requesting! Check them out!

So Ive been here at LEAST 3 times in the last week and I must say this has been the ONLY location where I get greeted as soon as I walk in the store. Once, the cashier checking me out seemed like she wasnt sure of what she was doing but she was kind and I liked her for that. She mightve been new or my coupons mightve confused her plus i used my reward points so she handled it swell. I came back within a few minutes because Id forgotten to claim my birthday perk, I had to stand back in line which is understandable, a different staff member noticed the line so she called on the next customer, me, I pulled up my birthday coupon and I got my UD eyeshadow in the color I was hoping for, she let me choose. I do take time into consideration because Ulta stores tend to get busy at certain times especially during the holidays but man I have to say Im IMPRESSED. I have no complaints on customer service except yeah maybe a can I help you find anything? Every now and then would be nice(Ive had bad experiences at sugarland location with attitudes from staff so yes Im IMPRESSED)

I went to the location around lunch time there was one other customer there . No employees around to help. When I finally asked another employee if there was someone else To help, they called for someone else she finally came out but didn’t ask if I needed help. So I just went to pay for what I already had. They are not helpful at all.

Worst customer service. Nobody ever knows anything when you ask for help. Then this one lady said she needed to go use the restroom and she couldnt help me. All the other girls I would ask and they just kind of say well what do you want and say they dont know what would best fit me. They are just horrible!!!!
