Id give 0 stars. Sometimes the makeup artist are noce sometimes their rude. Basic retail. This really isn’t about the makeup artist. This is a issue with the company. They dont have a Macy’s account I can rate so... I will never buy from Macy’s. I did a order for pick up 2 weeks before Black Friday. The money came out the day I ordered. It said could take up to 7 days. After a week I called and the rep said I see that it will be ready tomorrow. I got no ready for pickup alerts. I figured maybe because of Black Friday. 1 week after Black Friday they sent me a email. Your item was lost in shipping. How?. Here’s 15% off. If you still want this item you will have to repurchase. And wait for shipping? Heres the issue. They charged my card again so they could process a refund. What? If they told me I would have bought them during Black Friday sales. I look at their page and the coupon didn’t work and the cost went up. Id find a betterPlace to shop.
I am giving this location 1 star because everyone I encountered today was either rude, unprofessional and unorganized if not all three. Aside from me feeling rushed. I made a very rushed not helpful at all purchase today around 12:50pm. The location was not at all busy but I gave them a pass. There was a young lady doing make up and another one there at the time. I asked about makeup application during my purchase and was advised they changed the policy on makeup application so it was no longer appts it was 1st come 1st serve and no longer required a $50 purchase it was whatever you spent whether $5 or $100 purchase and that the next free slot wasn’t available until around 3 pm even though they don’t do appts. Around 1:10 as we were still lingering the store I went back by and asked if 3 was still the open time and they advised it was so I said I would like to have both me and my daughters make up applied and was told by a now 3rd person 3pm was still best so just linger around. Between 1:10 and 2:40 I randomly passed by to check in and saw that there were now 4 ladies available doing other peoples make up. On my 5th time coming by I spoke with one young lady who was at this point familiar with why I was there stated 15-20 more minutes they would be ready for us. I walked to get a drink and was gone maybe 10 minutes came right back and was now told a young lady who was standing at the end of the counter who had not been helped was going to go before us because it was first come first serve. Now had she already been in the chair fine I’m sure that’s what must have been what happen with the random women I saw getting make up applied the other 4 times I was sent away and constantly being told no one could help us until 3 but they mysteriously were being served but either way this new person had not even been helped. I explained to the young lady who again knew I had been there all morning waiting randomly checking in and she simply apologized and told me she would not be able to take us first. I will also be contacting corporate and whoever else about this because it was a huge waste of time and inconvenience. I had already made a purchase and was willing to make more for both me and my daughter to have our make up applied and this was just plain rude and unfair and not a way to treat your customers.
My friend and I came in to Mac asking for help. Jose did a wonderful job in helping us. Took the time to ask her questions. Gave us advice, in a lot of stuff, if you need help come here and ask for Jose he’s the best in everything!Thank you so much Jose!! We will definitely come back.
I went there with my friend over the Christmas time to purchase products for her mom. My friend wanted to get her makeup done and the Manager was very rude to my friend. My friend felt bad because she kept rolling her eye at her telling her that she wasn’t able to queeze her in for a makeover. Even when my friend had complimented her about her pretty blonde highlights she was still rude to her. I don’t think I would go back to that location anytime soon.
I went into mac over the weekend last minute needing my make up done for a concert. In the past Ive had a very bad experience requesting a demo from this location. However, Vani was great she squeezed me in and gave me the most lovely smokey eye with gold glitter. Not to mention my wing eyeliner was the best Ive had done by a professional. She also sold me on this bronzer that is buildable and I love it. She was the most professional and cheerful artist and if you do stop into this location ask for Vani you wont be disappointed.
You have to run someone down for help at the counter. If you call to make an appointment, they dont answer the phone. When they finally do, they put you on hold for 30 minutes. Id rather order online! No thanks, they arent doing me a favor by letting me spend money there.
No one to really help with make up choices, I think covid really has done a number on customer service
The employees were so helpful and patient. They helped me find and Tryon make up until I found the perfect fit.

The lady who speaks Spanish in Mac products gives very bad service whenever I go, I dont want to help us, they should put other people open Spanish that would improve a lot the other girls give very good service
