None of them greeted, asked if we needed assistance, & just straight up ignore customers. Also, be aware this JCP store CLOSED all of the FITTING ROOMS. Customers around me were upset that they couldnt try on any clothes before purchasing & didnt want to have to come all the way back to the store to return the items.

This mall is just ehhh. Locals have changed alot and the vibe different. For most store was decent but they only had certain registers open so there was a line and a wait. However all employees encountered were nice and helpful. They did have a variety of clothes and different products to choose from!

Wow! Almost 30 minutes for curbside pickup. Then while we still waited without our items it was marked as picked up which is deceitful. We called the number on the Curbside sign and was told an associate had to find my product. Meanwhile our email said ready for pickup. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, we called for a manager and was told that there isn’t a store manager on Sundays. We were eventually helped by Cornelius who was nice and after we asked for a discount he said he could do that for our next in store purchase. Not sure that I want to do all that or shop here again.

Took my granddaughter for pictures. The photographer was super nice and took her time as this was a first for my granddaughter. At 4, she was nervous/shy and the photographer took her time. Would definitely recommend. The pictures came out very beautiful
This place is so run down. Their elevator is out of order. My mom uses a cane. We were able to make it on the escalator only to find out the down escalator was also out of order. Had to get someone to let us on the freight elevator. The lights were so dim in the plus size section you couldnt even shop there. Bought 1 thing and waited in line for more than 15 min. Only one person ahead of me being waited on in all that time. I used to love Penneys.

We had a appointment with the portraits section at 6:15pm. We arrived at 6:15pm on the dot and they were not ready for our appointment And we waited and waited until we heard announcements at 6:30 saying the store closes at 7, so we asked if we would still get our appointment and she said unfortunately they close at 7 as well. It’s very disheartening to know that your customers time is not important and can just be dismissed. I spent a lot of time getting shirts made, putting together my families schedule, doing hair to make these photos special for my family and we were just dismissed and told half our photos could be taken or we can reschedule. I’m very very very upset with how my family and i was treating and we will not recommend this company to anyone.
I was looking through the Astros gear and asked am associate about a shirt. Rather than act like she cared she just told me everything we have is out ....ok. I guess I will not spend my money here at all then.
Great Associates-really helpful. Fitting rooms here full, mgr took a few of us and opened another and even helped me find some other sizes

The elevators are out of service so in order to get upstairs in a wheelchair, we had to go all over the behind the scenes back side of the store with an employee escort, to use their freight elevator. Rather sketchy to not pay the money to repair their elevator!EDIT AFTER Owner replyFootnote that a lot of stock is only in limited quantity and clothing does not seem to be well placed by staff... like pennies are being pinched for man hours as well as in every other area. I know Covid has been rough, but put on a better appearance if you want people to come back to the mall.This store CLEARLY KNOWS about the outage. The Salon staff told me we would need to find an employee to help us get upstairs when I made the appointment. The ragged barrier blocking the elevator and out of order sign was further indication it is a known issue. All the store employees we interacted with were well aware of the elevator situation, some employees seeing us were offering to swap out who escorted us. It is CLEARLY an ongoing situation with no mention of any end of sight. Nor did any employee appologize for the elevator outage, as one would expect after a long time, such as nobody any longer apologizes for wearing a mask due to Covid. SOMEONE is well aware of this!
Ive been waiting over 30 minutes at the jewelry stand for someone to help me with a purchase I wanted to make and the guy in this picture never acknowledge me nor the guy in the back with the red hat both looked around me and tended to other customers and to think I have a credit card through this company... smh

Super cute clothes. Little on the pricey side but can always fine some kind of deal. I got my homecoming dress, prom dress, maternity dress, and my little ones first shopping spree done all there.

The photographer took a phone call in the middle of an infant photo shoot while the baby was posed. She was an amiture photographer. Most of the pics were from weird angles with the baby looking away from the camera.
Nice selection, but all the dressing rooms are closed. Cant buy jeans without trying on.

Dont even think about ordering online for curbside pickup, theres virtually no live person to attend to you.I was in the car waiting for over 20 minute then I called to find out about my pick up. The lady at the returns and pickup answered the phone, she said Im the only one here, I have 3 people in front of me, you can come to the 2nd floor by the homes department and get your order. I went there and she has over 13 people waiting to return items and those people were already complaining about the wait. A guy with dreads walked by, I asked about what to do to get my curbside pick up, his response was like I dont know where the packages are, he was dead tired. I look at the woman by the returns as she struggled to answer calls as well as handle the returns. I left without picking my orders as I called to ask if I had to wait online to pick up my orders as well. You could tell from her voice how frustrated and tiring she felt. She told me its my choice if I wanted to wait and if I want to leave I can leave. Jcp its sad.........................................................................Let me update my review, woke up this morning to check the status of my order. Lo and behold, jcp had updated to pick up. I wonder who the ghost picked it up. My driver license is with me. Im sure their cameras are working to indicate who picked up the item and the camera will see me leaving the store empty handed as well as upset. This store needs a -1 star, from their incompetent and unprofessional staffs to the rudeness. Anyway we will all open together at 9am as this needs to be sorted out

While the sale is great theres no one to check out. The store off of 249 I was on the 2nd floor and no registers had to go to the 1st floor to pay for my purchase items.

I really like the customer service lady. But to be honest, I ordered a mattress at the beginning of october and was told it would be delivered on the 28th. The wait was frustrating but it couldnt be helped. Now theyre saying the delivery will be delayed until November. They keep saying theyll call me and noone does. If I had known delivery would be this much of a hassle, and take so long, I would have just gone to mattress firm.The communication is terrible. I see the mattress is in Houston, and Im trying to pick it up myself but they have to call so many different people to authorize that. If its here, why am I waiting an extra week? Let me pick it up myself!Just really frustrated. Delivery was expensive and the delay is insane. Next time, just use mattress firm.

Picked up a blouse I ordered online. Lucy was very nice, professional and efficient. She moved the line quick! There were two (2) additional associates who were very helpful and attentive to the other customers as well. I was in and out in 15 mins!! Love it!
I went in looking for a particular sports coat for a class reunion, but unfortunately they did not have it. BUT, I was able to find an even better jacket for less than I planned on spending. The associate even gave me 20 percent off without a coupon. Great customer service in the mens department!!
Shoes and blouses for work
Location hours where changed without updating the website or google search. Which is understandable, however the front door was still open at 7pm and I came in to do a simple return. I was told the register were all closed, I asked to speak with the Manager Ms. Rodriguez who refuses to acknowledge the numerous employees radioing manager needed for customer assistance. I’m appalled by the lack of customer service and disregard for business ethics. If the management is this unprofessional it is a direct reflection on JCPENNEY as a whole. Horrible customer service.

This Pennys has a good selection of merchandise. Checkers are slow, but friendly, alleviating some of the holiday shopping stress that is compounded by giant deceptive sale signs that only apply to very specific items on the end caps and racks. Be forewarned and check your selections against the fine print to avoid surprises at the register and dirty looks from the other shoppers when you argue the sale price.

Horrible online order transaction. Made an online order then 6 days later go to pick it up after being called To remind me to pick up the order. Customer service did not have the order ready and they had to go pick it off the shelf while I waited. I waited 45 minutes for them to get my online order, when it would have taken me 5 minutes to grab it off the shelf my self purchase it in person.

She needs a promotion and a raise. The best customer service I have experienced at that store in some time. If you ever need appliances. Shes the go to for that

The store has decent selection but the employees can be dense sometimes. Multiple time I have had arguments about specials. In other words, the specials you see are just to reel you in and then you have to deal with the description. For example, therell be a special saying buy one pair of jeans and get the second off and at the register the person will tell you that the offer is only valid if you spend 100 dollars in the store. Its completely stupid the way they do that and it irritates me so much.

I had my hair styled at JC Penneys, which was a really good experience. The stylist was quick, worked on only me the entire time and it only took an hour. They were very nice professional, I will definitely be back.
When you order online to pickup in the store be preparing to wait up to 30 minutes in line to pickup. Its always like this every time I do store pickup. This time there was only one associate working by herself. She did a good job, but when she asked for help the other associate told her she was helping a customer. Hate their store pickup process. Giving 2 🌟 only because the associate was nice.
I went in to pick up an online order. The cashier that went to get my package from the back brought it out dropped it on the counter and walked away. As I look down I realize she brought out the wrong package clearly she didnt check the name or the package number. As I call out to her whe looked back at me and continued to walk away. I had to have another customer service member correct her error. Clearly customer service is NOT a key point in her employment. Thank you to the gentleman who corrected her error.
It was not a shopping day for me. Maybe tomorrow. A lot of discounts.
