Great ice cream. The strawberry mango is so flavorful. It has a sherbet consistency. The Pegasus is made of cinnamon toast crunch and fruity pebbles. It did not disappoint! I really enjoyed the cool decor and calm music. ☺

I first found this place in LA and saw we had one in Houston 🥰. The first time I went to the Bellaire location the place was packed on a Sunday night. The girls were behind and the ice cream didn’t come out as pretty as before. The second time we went after lunch during the week and it was a very short wait and the cone came out beautiful! The new flavor of the watermelon and cherry is wonderful. Though the charcoal pineapple is life changing.

This ice cream shop is located in a plaza (I believe it’s called Dun Huang Plaza) in Chinatown. The lady who was working that day wasn’t rude but definitely showed NO HOSPITALITY especially when I told her it was our first time visiting for my daughter and I. She was no help whatsoever! I ordered the Mixed Feelings with a charcoal cone (pineapple and vanilla flavored ice cream). My daughter had the Two to Mango (strawberry and mango). It’s pretty pricey came out to about $15 for our ice cream. Two to Tango tasted a bit citrus or sour taste to it neither my daughter nor I liked it that much but we both liked the charcoal pineapple and vanilla. Was it the best ice cream? No but tasty. Interior is really nice. Overall can’t say I’d recommend this place.

They were out of the charcoal pineapple flavor which is my absolute favorite, but the watermelon cherry was pretty good as well as the strawberry mango 😊 We love Bae and recommend it for everyone!

Ive been wanting to try this spot out for some time now, ever since my friend told me about it. Today was finally that day, and Im glad to say I was not disappointed! Given that I am now plant based, having vegan options available is definitely a plus in my book! The atmosphere was pretty chill and the decor was a vibe in itself. Its not common to talk about a food places restrooms but I was thoroughly impressed by those as well haha. As for the Ice cream itself, top notch! I had the charcoal pineapple and vanilla with mini oreos. Sooo good! The creaminess texture mixed with the tangy flavor of the pineapple and the subtle undertones of the vanilla, really make this a great combination. I cant wait to try it out again!

Yeah, its definitely a pic worth ice cream, but thats about it. It tasted like a sorbet more than a soft serve. I had the pineapple/vanilla charcoal, and the cashier suggested oreos as topping. Pretty weird flavor, was not a big fan of it.

First up. I love their ice cream. The flavor mixes are fresh as theu are intriguing. They use amazing colors for visual appeal and the topping pair really well. The place has a bar of chairs along the window and one table. The interior is black and grey marble and really pretty. Store was clean and staff was quick and friendly. I recommend a Pegasus flavor which is fruity pebbles and captain crunch flavored ice cream swirled. Add a picture of the yumminess.

I give this spot 3 stars because the ice cream is pretty good well the one we got which is the mix blend of cinnamon toast crunch and fruity pebbles. The menu colors dont match the ice cream colors that much and there is only a certain amount of flavors to choose from. As the other reviews show the service here isnt that great they just take your order and your money with no assistance or explanation of anything for any first timers. I will be back if I crave cereal flavor ice cream.

I just moved here from Ohio and wanted to find unique things to do for my birthday. Bae was on my list of places to try. Honestly, I wanted to give 1 star for service the 4 stars (which could have been 5) is only because of the ice cream. The service left much to be desired. First, as soon as we walked in the door we were not greeted (I mean nothing - welcome, hello, hi, have you been here before, NADA.). Second, Ive never been to this place and there were two women working the front, and after we asked a few questions about how their ice-cream options work one girl finally said would you like me to explain the menu? Uh yeah! There was zero people inside you would have thought they were happy to get business but they seemed as if our presence was a nuisance. Okay now to the ice cream! As I stated I really wanted to give the ice cream 5 stars.... okay what we ordered....my husband, daughter, and I tried the Mixed Fillings (pineapple/vanilla/charcoal mix I believe) I even tried the 24 Karat Gold Sheet on my ice cream (for an extra 5 bucks) it was delicious! My son tried the strawberry/mango I forget the name but he really liked it. I would like to come back again to Bae...BUT because we drove almost 40 minutes for bad service I wont make any special trips to this place. I could have took my money anywhere.... BUT I would ONLY try this place again if I was in the area AND only because of the ice cream! I would like recommend this place but their service needs a BIG IMPROVEMENT. Greet people when they walk in the door, explain the menu, and small acts of kindness goes a long way! I hope it was just a bad day but that service left a bad taste in my mouth! Ahhhh :(

Really cool concept and very instagramable decor. Staff was nice and accommodating. Flavors are unique (charcoal pineapple, Earl Grey, fruity pebbles) but, this is where I felt they missed the mark. I had the Pegasus (fruity pebbles and cinnamon toast crunch swirled) there was a faint cinnamon and absolutely nothing to the fruity pebbles flavor. A friend had the Earl Grey swirl and felt it lacked in flavor as well. The best flavor was the pineapple/charcoal flavor it had the cleanest flavor profile. I was even a little disappointed by the sugar cone, it had a slightly grainy texture. It was a fun experience but they need to tweak a few things.

Love the pineapple charcoal flavor! Please don’t take that away. They also used to have matcha chocolate that was amazing as well. Wish they would have lids for the cups.

My faves are the earl grey and the matcha chocolate. Both are pretty solid flavors. Their soft served is very creamy and served in your choosing of assorted cones. The earl grey is always a good choice because it isnt too sweet or bland. Its different from the usual ice cream flavors.Matcha chocolate was a very interesting flavor. Both flavors are pretty rich by itself but combined together, it was surprisingly not overwhelming. The sweetness of the chocolate balance out the earthy matcha taste. They also have an abundant toppings to spice up your soft served but the flavors on its own is still good.The place inside is a bit small, but I like the trendy decors. Not a lot of places to sit but you can just grab and go for soft served. I hope to see some more flavors.

They serve sorbet-that’s the closest I can describe it.We went into the store, and there was NO PLACE TO SIT. Cool, we can just get it to go. I really wanted chocolate ice cream. THEY DIDN’T HAVE CHOCOLATE AS A FLAVOR. I shouldn’t have gotten anything, but I had driven pretty far and wanted some ice cream!So I got vanilla with chocolate chips in a cone.It cost me almost $10 dollars. I take a bite, and it tastes NOTHING LIKE ICE CREAM. My friend got watermelon and said hers tasted like sorbet too.Let’s get one thing straight: it wasn’t bad per say. It wasn’t ice cream though, and they shouldn’t advertise it as something it’s not. Also not worth the money to me. I could’ve gotten real ice cream from Walmart for one third the piece I paid for a small cone.Just a money grab with some nice ambience. C-

Another fun and Instagram worthy dessert place in Chinatown! My friends and I stumbled here one evening after dinner. It is pretty unassuming from the front but when you walk in, has a great vibe with plenty of corners to take pictures. They have about 5-6 ice creams flavors but not your usual ones. They are all mixes of flavors. I had the coco puffs and earl gray and it was delicious. There are a lot of fun toppings for both taste and decor. I added rose gold foil hearts which made the ice cream look even better but it didn’t change the taste. Would definitely go back again!

The soft serve concept has some unique flavors like charcoal vanilla that make even the most timid person curious to the taste and texture.I highly recommend this for a family friendly dessert stop!

The flavors are ok but the presentation is really what you paying for in all honesty. the best flavor in my opinion are the mango swirl and the charcoal pineapple thats about it. The other flavors taste like nothing and the root bear float is not worth the price all. So if you are going her, just stick with the ice cream on the waffle cone and call it day .

Very cool ice cream shop. I like to get the mixed feelings which is charcoal pineapple and vanilla swirl. It is sweet but not too sweet. I also love the chocolate flavor. The texture is so smooth and creamy. You do have to eat it rather quick because it starts melting almost instantly.

All the flavors were very good individually, but I thought the charcoal/vanilla blended together when swirled to the point where I could barely taste either. Large quantities of ice cream, but some like fruity pebbles/cinnamon were too sweet to finish. you cant mix individual flavors together unless you get a cup. Spacing and area are small, but the aesthetic is there

Wowzers. This place is actually good? Great? Awesome. We really really enjoyed the ice cream here. The names are a little hard to decipher. Super hipster vibe going on. The waffle cone was delish! This is out new go-to place to bring all of our out of town guests. We brought our international guests here and they loved it. We had to go back in for seconds because we were flabbergasted at the quality and deliciousness. The line was almost out the door when we showed up. Lines moves relatively quickly. Parking is not too bad.

Right in the soul of Bellaire, considered one of the holy grails for Asian cuisines in Houston, Bae couldnt be in a better location. One of the best ice cream shops Ive ever been to that actually tastes as good as it looks, game changing, design of it looks like it came straight from a Saint Laurent store. Its quite affordable as well coming in at only $4.50 for a large cup of ice cream. GO THERE!!!

I went in here with two friends and we were stopped at the door and told that we needed to wear masks. Even though we could visibly see in the lobby two individuals without one on inside of the store. We felt discriminated against of course until we found out they were the owners. So yea, here, everyone except for the owners follow the rules. We definitely passed and had no problems putting on a mask at other locations.

The cones were very pretty, and the shop is really nicely decorated with a very instagrammable neon sign.

So my family and I was in the area in which I was 45 mins away from home and decided to stop by... tik tok referred me lol... but it wasnt really for me its a great spot for kids all kids love sweets but per my experience it was my 1st time coming and they staff wasnt very helpful with explaining to me how it works or what exactly the ice cream was or wasnt... u get charged per topping and the sorbet swirl I got i didnt finish wasnt very tasty very basic nothing stood out to me. I think staying home and having Ben and Jerrys is definitely better than this place. 3 stars for my kids 😊

Was not happy with the service at this place. I stood there for more than 5 mins hoping someone might offer some assistance regarding the menu items since it was my 1st time going there. They just stood there staring at me and my kids all weird. Made me feel uncomfortable. You would think they would be more helpful since they work there, but nope. Its good, but pricey. The toppings we got barely covered the ice cream. However, everything we tried was delicious and the service is great. Not much seating and since this is designed to be IG bait, go in with some patience for those taking tons of pics.

The ice cream here is really good, nice quirky flavors and a cute and hip young to maintain a younger crowd. However the staff are always really dry and lack a sense of urgency. Luckily its not a full dining experience, especially during COVID so no skin off the old back.

Upscale ice cream shop for sure. Very nice inside. The ice cream was good but nothing special. I was expecting strong bold flavors with sweetness. Tasted very little sweetness thou. The flavors tasted mostly the same sadly. The cones are colorful but lacking any flavor because the use food dye to just make them look appealing. The sides were very fresh thou and added a very nice touch to the ice cream that it was lacking.

PS, I love you Bae...Ive been on the hunt for amazing soft serve ever since I had matcha soft serve in Washington, DC. They had the most amazing matcha swirled with Cherry Blossoms and I havent been able to find it in Houston.. until now...Bae is tucked in a complex, apart from the busy area of Bellaire - which I like because theres plenty of parking and youre not bombarded by so many people. You literally have to come searching for Bae and make a trip out just for it. I can see why its hard to spot because its located on the side of the building, not facing Bellaire, and there isnt much signage.. probably cause they just opened and havent gotten it in yet. We came around 4:30pm on a Sunday and there was a small line - maybe 4-5 people in front of us. There was a dead period of no line after we ordered and then a line of about 10 or so when we left... so you just kind of have to catch them at the right time. But the line moves quick and theyre efficient so dont be discouraged! I was trying to avoid a long line and having to wait forever, like I did when Aqua S opened.. this place surprisingly didnt have a crowd yet and I hope it stays that way, though I doubt it will once word gets out theyre here and opened!The interior is decorated nicely, though it is fairly small. You have counter seating, a large table, and some side benches and thats it. So I can see how it can be frustrating if it was crowded. We have enough space to take all the IG/Yelp photos our hearts desired! I can see how this can be annoying as well to other patrons. But they set it up nicely so you can take photos next to the With Love from Bae wall or at the front with the black floral - if you get lucky and theres no line blocking it! I also liked the details of the black table - it almost looked like it was made of leather with the texture details.But most importantly, the ice cream! The staff is so friendly and will let you taste whatever flavors you like! I was so sad their charcoal pineapple machine was down yesterday cause that one sounded most interesting and I really wanted to try it. Ive heard it was delish though! My friends really loved the fruity pebbles and the now and later.. I got the matchaholic and loved it swirled with the chocolate for additional sweetness! The matcha stood out and you can tell they used high quality ingredients, which I havent been able to find in Houston. The earl grey was also very subtle and delicious if you dont want something so sweet. Theres lots of toppings to choose from, and yes, even gold flakes for those who want to get extra fancy! I liked everything about it, even the matcha cone! The consistency is spot on, not overly creamy but just the right mix of consistency and flavor! I loved this place so much more than Aqua S - yes, they have more original flavors but theyve had more misses on those flavors than I would like. Ice cream melts extremely fast, I guess it must be low in fat. Either way super delicious, some flavors may be too sweet for most people. But overall pretty tasty! I would recommend getting the ice cream in a plastic cup and sharing. Trust me, you will thank me later. Highly recommend, dont know if I will be back though.

Coming to this place is hit or miss when it comes to them being open. Geesh... clearly states open online, I was told they open at 2pm daily and get all the way over here and they’re closed. No official store hours posted on the sport and the recording doesn’t state their hours of operation either. I really enjoy their ice cream but they need to be clear regarding their business hours...it’s very frustrating to drive a pretty good distance to find them CLOSED!

Addicted♥I discovered this place about a month and a half ago and I have been there 8 times now. I like getting the mixed feelings flavor with the charcoal waffle cone, but I also had a taste of the one my boyfriend chose and it was really good too (two to mango)!
