First time there today and their donuts are amazing!!!! Their blueberry donuts are exquisite. Their donut holes, kolaches are so delicious as well. The gentleman at the counter today was extremely nice and helpful. We appreciated him very much for his patience as it was our first time there.We will definitely go back and continue to support their business.

There are closer donut shops to my house, however the great customer service and fresh donuts are worth the additional travel time. Even in the middle of a pandemic, the owner is very pleasant and acknowledges many customers by name. The donuts are delicious!!

This is an amazing establishment. Their baked goods and breakfast items are ALWAYS fresh and delicious.But what makes this place extra special is their customer service. I started coming in because it’s in close proximity to where my oldest went to daycare at 18 months old. For her 2nd bday- I brought her to get a pink donut at her request. That was my first visit. From that day forward, the staff greeted my by name and asked about how my daughter was doing if she wasn’t with me.I have since had a second child and visited while pregnant and even though I come in far less frequently (ever 4-5 months or so) they are still as warm and ask about both my kids and my husband who only visited with me once while pregnant.There are seniors who would come in and sit at the bar with their coffee and pastry. This morning there is a group of masked senior gentlemen having breakfast and fellowship. They are a clean/safe and very friendly establishment.If you are looking for a nice donut shop to bring your family especially during this COVID19 time, for a sweet treat, please consider this awesome business.Their glazed cake donuts melt in your mouth and are amazing!

Very friendly, clean place, tries to get you in and out. Awesome fresh pastries. Can sometimes customize donuts on the spot if he has the product. Sometimes even gives a couple of free donut holes when they are feeling generous. Gentleman behind the counter knows me by name and the only 2 things I order. Im sure he knows many other peoples name and what they order. Excellent service is greeting a customer by their name and knowing what want, reason why he is able to get you in and out. My go to local donut shop. Love the fact that its also right around the corner. Prices are very reasonable as well.

I have been going to this place for around 20 years when they were at their old location across Jones Rd. It was always my favorite place to go for breakfast and not much has changed in all those years. The food is excellent, the staff couldnt be more kind, and its all for very low prices. 11/10

This is my go to donut shop on West road near Jones road. I really enjoy the customer service at this location. As a matter of fact, the young gentleman who works there always remembers my name! Lee is genuine and really nice. He remembered who I was after only afew visits and will almost have it ready before you make it all the way in. Ive been going for a bit at least once a week. Favorite place to stop while driving my daughters to school.

They taste amazing! I dont live in the area anymore, but every once in a while I take the 30 minute drive because its that good!! Def recommend the ham Swiss and jalapeño croissant! Every time I go Lee makes sure my order is perfect! Super nice and helpful.

My family has been going exclusively to S&S for 12 years, since we moved into the neighborhood. The family that runs it is amazing, as well as the rest of the staff. They remember my children by name AND favorite donut, and are so kind to them, my oldest daughter Madison used to come buy a donut every Saturday for literally whatever was in her little toddler purse at the time, a dime here, quarter there. :) The selection of treats is good, and I love the maple bacon donut, it’s apart of my Saturday morning ritual now. Everything is fresh and delicious. They also have coffee and hot chocolate, nothing fussy, and the regulars that sit at the counter having a coffee add to the charm. This is a great place, they will always have our business.

Fresh tasty donuts and friendly service. This location obviously gets a lot of repeat customers based on the fact the man behind the counter knew orders of 2 of the people in front of me, simply on sight, and greeted them with familiarity.

If you’re ever around the Timbergrove area, the owner’s sister has a store on 18th Street called Queen Donut. Same kind of assortment of fresh goodies along with friendly service. This place makes some bomb ass kolaches! But only the large ones are good, theres like a tiny little mediocre sausage in the small ones, those are basically all bread.

I live around the corner and is my second time coming here, service is fast and donuts are awesome, I havent tried kolaches or croissants yet but I can tell people like them, also this place is very clean.

Best Bacon Maple donut in town! Saturday and Sunday only. Sausage kolaches are top notch. After the third time the owner’s son calls you by name. They are so good they supply local church’s, businesses, and swim teams their morning affair and it has ill affect the the heavy foot traffic they get!Shhhh they can do special things if you just ask. Like Orange and Blue glazed Bearkat Claws on Sam Houston State University - Bearkat Day.

These donuts melt in your mouth. Amazing donuts from a local store. Good Apple fritters are hard to find and theirs are great. I like S & S better than Shipley’s, Dunkin, krispy cream, Grocery Store donuts, and the two small donut places down the street from where I live. Worth a try. Oh, and the kalotchies are good too.

Your standard glazed and cake donuts, some more arcane biscuit and croissant items, old fashioned (inside out) donuts, and more drinks than you can shake a stick at. Folks behind the counter are always friendly and quick, too - Ive never had a reason to complain. My only request would be to add boudin kolaches to the lineup - those things are awesome and just not common enough

This was ok. If it was free eat it... but they will never get my money again. Its on the other side of the street from the way Im going so I went out of my way to go to the shop. Then I gave the lady a 20.... change was 11 dollars.. she gave me two 5 and a 1. Red flagWhy... I looked at the 5s one was taped up.. OK fine.. but wait...hold them up to the light... is it counterfeit... how come one has a blue line of US stamps in it and the other doesnt... same year too... ohhhhhhhh no. Nope nope.. instead of arguing or causing a commotion.. I ordered one more donut and gave them back that bogus $5. SMH
