I drove through and got a glazed donut and a vanilla iced coffee. The donut was fresh and tasted good. I wished it was as hot though. My ice coffee was good, just too small. I received a 10% coupon from checking in with Yelp so I guess I will come back on another day to get my discount.

They were quick and the doughnuts were warm and delicious. They lost one star because we asked for sausage and cheese kolaches but got jalapeno ones instead.

They didnt have any glazed donuts available (the main thing Shipleys is known for!) and I didnt realize til after I got home that they gave me cherry filled donuts instead of the strawberry filled donuts I ordered.

This Shipley was overpriced and the lady didnt tell me my order total. But had her hand like are you going to pay or not look on her face. And I had to ask several times whats my order total. Then had the nerve to snatch my card out my hand.I almost jump through the drive thru window.she saw the look on my face and hurry up gave my card and my order. donuts wasnt fully cooked and they taste too too buttery. Taste just like raw sweet buttery dough.never going back there.

Fantastic donuts! The owners were nice enough to make custom donuts for our wedding. They were perfect, beautifully delicious, and added a wonderful touch to our big day. Highly recommend for all your pastry needs.

Loyalty is earned not demanded.Shipleys is seemingly working overtime to knock the shine off their brand; I know that were done with this establishment. Locally owned options abound.

These are the greatest donuts in the world. They have been consistent since I was a kid in the 90s. These donuts are everything. Plus you cant beat the price. The service is always fast, the food is always great. If youre visiting Houston, you have to go here. When she won her Olympic gold medal, Simone Biles was asked what the first thing she was gonna do when she got back to Texas and she said get Shipleys. This place is Life

WARNING! I cant imagine whose Idea it was to put the parking behind the entrance to the drive through and before the exit, trapping any poor soul(Me) unfortunate enough to actually park there behind a potential minimum of 1-4 undecided customers, for a full potential of 5 min or more, also with people entering not willing to let you back out, but he needs to reconsider his parking lot decisions. The doughnuts are pretty good considering the glaze seems to be a little less than what I am used to. The service wasnt bad nor was it anything to appreciate. I walled in and wasnt acknowled for about 2-3 minutes just for someone to say Ill be right with you. She was right in front of me the entire time. She could have said it right when I walked in. Further more, due to the small size it seems to be lacking quite an array of doughnuts that I am used to seeing at shipleys.

The 2nd best Shipley location in Houston. The 1st is owned by same person lol. Always fresh and staff is always kind, friendly and smiling. No photos because Ive never kept anything from there long enough to take a picture as its gone before I leave parking lot.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT AND ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING DRIVE THRU WINDOW! Very inexperienced staff and management. I ordered a large coffee but the employee insisted that I ordered a medium coffee and tried giving me a medium coffee. When I looked at the receipt I was charged for a large. They also forgot to give me one of my items. When I went back they were not very apologetic.

Decent donuts but the coffee is unnecessarily hot. You have to wait to drink it.

Horrible experience today (at approximately 4:15pm) December 30, 2018... Husband went for doughnuts, (1 dozen--half glazed, half chocolate glazed), employee at the window not only told him they only had 4 chocolate doughnuts (no chocolate glazed), added 2 glazed, but she threw the half dozen glazed out the window because SHE forgot to add them when asked for them!!! Wow, I must say that was a great way to end my weekend🙃. Will not be returning any time soon🤨🤨🤨

Whoever built this establishment had to be high on something... It’s only one parking spot in the front ♿️with additional parking in the back but you have to go thru the drive thru to get there ... not to mention if it’s a line you have to wait in it to park in the back and get back out‼️ Great donuts tho

This location is new to me so I decided to give it a try. At 3:30pm Saturday Feb 02 I received the WORST customer service from a rude African American woman!!! I ordered 6 glazed donuts. But there were no regular glazed donuts so I thought for a few seconds what I’d like and then she said ok there’s only 4. So I ordered the 4 and asked if she had bear claws and she responded yes!? Like I’m some kind of mind reader. I thought I’d ask bc they didn’t even have regular donuts. Anyway I continued to order a chocolate donut and she angrily responds “OK MAAM SO HOW MANY DONUTS DO YOU WANT?!” Really?! Now she’s raising her voice at me?! I couldn’t believe what had happened and just drove away. I do not have to be spending my money where I’m treated like that. When you’re working in customer service you need to be on customer service happy mode! Bc of her I’m no longer visiting this location and wish this review could be zero stars! People like that ruin people’s businesses and hopefully this location can hire better, happy, hard working people not trash!

I cant believe anyone would go somewhere else besides shipleys to get donuts and kolaches! If i see an open sign im stopping by! The donuts are warm and fluffy and perfectly coated with a thin crumple of sugar glaze that leaves you licking the sides of your mouth after every scrumptious bite. The kolaches (gotta be with jalapeno) have golden gooey cheese thatll chase your chin and tame the heat from the jalapeno spears and the bread has just a tint of butter thatll never make you feel guilty. They got strawberry milk too!

The absolute BEST Shipley’s I have ever been to. EVER. Almost every Shipley’s I’ve ever visited was FILTHY. This location is the only location I have ever been to that was spotless, clean from top to bottom. The staff is always super friendly and very accommodating. The fastest Shipley’s drive-thru in all the land. I have waited up to 30 minutes in a line at other Shipley’s before. Not this one!!! Never this one. I’m in and out in less the 5 minutes, every time.And their donuts and kolaches?!🤤🤤🤤🤤 The most fluffiest, most delicious-est glazed donuts. Their cake donuts?!🤤🤤🤤🤤 So absolutely moist. Those kolaches?! They don’t only make the standard sausage/ham kolaches. But oh my god, they make turkey and cheese, beef and cheddar, pizza, buffalo chicken (but all only on certain days😭😭😭, thank goodness because I would give this Shipley’s all my money😭😭) This Shipley’s even makes custom donuts?! I’ve bought Astro donuts, Texan donuts, Halloween donuts, valentines donuts (which were my favorite because they were themed Anti-Valentines day instead of the traditional all pink and red hearts, but they had those too!)Don’t think your donuts or kolaches are hot enough, all ya gotta do is ask! It’s a bakery, and bakeries have FRESHLY-made items sitting out that EVENTUALLY get cold, same goes for donuts guys...Most of the “negative” reviews I’ve read about this place don’t even have anything to do with their baked goods, but the store/lobby hours?! I have never EVER had an issue with going through the DRIVE-THRU before 7am... Every single item I have ever gotten through the drive-thru was absolutely exactly the way I ordered it. Hours of operation start at 5am here and, all the times I have ordered here, they were open, operating, had all products available, and are very efficient and friendly and fast. All before 7am, AND all through the good ol’ drive-thru.It’s most certainly a FACT this is the best Shipley’s around and I will continue to be a very very loyal customer. Bring the fam and friends and colleagues kind of loyalty.

Shame that all other Shipleys when open are open for business - this one is drive thru only until 7am . SO they can throw anything into a box or bag and you dont see what you are getting. Advised my group to shop elsewhere daily.
