It s true Mike you did not provide a service to me but you say I have the wrong company when youre aware we spoke 3 times and its unfortunate your dispatch guy left his service book in my garage with your bus. cards attached. Not sure how else I could have ended up with your business cards in my garage unless someone you work with came to my house. We even spoke this morning when I called you to report the service quote I received and you said you would look into it. In these times or rather any time, pandemic or not, no one should be taken advantage of with such gouging prices.This is a long read and I hate that Im leaving it because I hate leaving negative reviews but... Loved that they showed up in a mask, as safety is number one right now! Yes, of course I get that and they did. Id like to start off by saying that the issue isnt really with Mike but who he dispatched out to me after hours on a Monday. Mike was very prompt in responding and doing as he said. But he had the dispatch guy call me and I had a very hard time understanding his name because he spoke in a very low tone. I think maybe Sal or Saul?? He promptly arrives, very professional and appeared very professional as he gazed around my garage door taking notes with his pen, so I thought. He proceeded to quote me $650 for repairs that I could not really understand what was what, for one because he was wearing his mask (thank you) and for two, because again, his very low tone. But I heard a list of things that needed to be done to get my garage back right and that it would be 2 hours minimum maybe even longer to fix. When I about flipped out he tells me in his soft tone that I need to consider that it is also after hours. Of course I get that its after hours but really??!! And it was 9pm on a Monday night. Not too terribly late and not even a weekend. My call to Mike started around 8pm. So when I told him that there was no way in the world I could afford that he then asked me well how much money do you have? That right there shocked me!! But by this time Im freaking out because its now 9:00 pm and Im worried about leaving my garage open all night. So I tell him that all I have is $200. He tells me to hold on and it seems he starts texting someone so I assume he is getting permission from Mike on what my $200 will cover so after 5 minutes of waiting he says that he can get the garage closed for me for the night but thats about it, it wont be operational cause from what I could understand under the mask is that basically everything needs to be replaced. I almost agreed to the $200 just to get the door shut for the night but thankfully my mother came out at this time and after giving her a brief run down she talked me out of it. So I told him never mind and thank you for coming out but that I couldnt really afford the $200 either. He was kind about it but then asked me if Mike told me about the $29 after hours fee. And honestly, in the two brief phone calls that I had with Mike once when I initially called and then when he returned my call because he found someone to come out he never mentioned the $29 service call fee. But he was texting again and Mike must have confirmed he failed to mention the service fee because he didnt give me a hard time about it and he left. I would have gladly paid it if I hadnt just felt like I was punched in the throat. And, also because he left his service book and pens behind on a table in my garage. The entire service book had no written notes on it. Only a small business card attached had writing on the back but with someone elses address not mine. I dont think he was ever jotting any notes down when he gazed around my garage door. So, sadly I had to sleep with my garage halfway open all night.However, this morning I searched Craigslist and found the most wonderful garage repair guy. He came within 2 hours. Only had to replace one small part, did an alignment, adjusted my spring and lubricated everything for a whopping price of $85!
