Pleased with the overall experience. They were extremely responsive to questions pre and post purchase. Despite the nationwide freight delivery delays I was able to receive my garage door opener in time for me to meet a deadline for installation. They staff was great and even helped resolved a small issue with the freight delivery company.

Similiar issues as other poor feedback indicates. I ordered a part which showed in stock. After following up with an inquiry after 5 days and no feedback, I was given a general answer. I again asked for additional info. This went on and on. After 4 emails they responded; We have cancelled your order.I went on to their site and found that the part ordered was out of stock. If this was the case, why not just provide that information instead of beating around the bush, saying they have pallets arriving, then acting as if a customer is in the wrong when confronted with questions. Im sure this is a great small distributor of parts however they are not a customer service focused outfit based upon my experiences.

The simple issue here is they are not helpful and will berate you and insult you if there is something wrong on their end.I purchased a garage door opener for a Guardian series Model and did my research and knew it was compatible. Turns out Guardian had updated the battery from A23 to A27 yet it was not updated on their website. I purchased A23s based on their website. No big deal... a few dollars... except when I asked them about it.They stated that if there was something wrong, it was pretty much my fault. They told me the manual says I chose the wrong garage door opener (turns out, all it needed was a new battery and it worked).I sent them a picture of the battery and they couldnt admit they may have had an outdated description... instead said I questioned their integrity. Reminder, all I asked was why there was a different battery than advertised. So... I went to Guardians website and turns out they had in fact updated to an A27.These people are not knowledgeable. They are a middleman that has not quite kept up to date with what they are selling. If they simply said, our fault, it must have been updated, instead of insulting me and telling me I chose the wrong remote, I would not have cared.Update: please check their response. As you can see, I wrote in my review that the opener works. It was a battery issue in that the battery sent was dead which can happen. I did ask if the wrong product was sent because the batteries were different, at which point, the defensive tone started. I never said their product was fraudulent, simply if I received the right one. I did not send it back because again, it worked after being replaced with the correct battery. Their response here is a clear example of why I do not mind that I am cut off from their services.

Im not sure why it took a week to get a small item shipped when it was listed as in stock. If I knew it would take a week for them to ship the item, I would have gone to a local shop and had one made instead of wasting time waiting for shipping. Ill look somewhere else for any future needs.

SCAM, STAY AWAY. TERRIBLE company. See pictures below.Order was placed on 12/4/2020 and confirmation email received. Still hadn’t even received an email saying my order had shipped and by that time it was 1/3/2021! Called company and received a call back next day on 1/4/2021 saying my order would ship that week. LIES. My order didn’t ship until 1/21/2021 and when I received it on 1/22/2021 it was an EMPTY BOX. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. BUY FROM AMAZON AND PUT COMPANIES LIKE THIS OUT OF BUSINESS.

These pulleys were an excellent price. And company shipped them promptly. However, they were packaged poorly for shipping and made it here by the skin of its teeth. USPS not known for gentile touch so plastic package ripped open. Another inch and contents would have been lost. Another note, these come as pictured. Pulleys only (no bracket, no bolt).

The parts I needed were in stock and shipped fairly quickly.I used to getting small parts quickly from Amazon with free or very reasonable shipping.I almost didnt complete the order due to the shipping cost, but I needed to parts immediately due to a safety issue.

I ordered a remote for my garage door. It came fast. American company. I didnt have to press a bunch of buttons she just got on the phone when I had to ask a question it was answered respectfully. She is funny and sweet. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Failed to inform customer that could take multiple weeks to ship, finally received a reply after I inquired, they say they were waiting on parts to arrive. After a reply, they threaten to cancel and eventually cancel my order as though Im at fault and stating, we have other customers who appreciate the effort were taking. Will never do business with again, these people are jerks.

I had questions before the purchase that were answered satisfactorily. The only issue I had was that I ordered a multi-pack of lubricant, but only received 1 can in the initial shipment. The remaining cans were sent upon my notification to them. I would definitely order from this retailer in the future.

We extensively researched as we have chain drive not belt drive. This product was assured to be compatible with chain driver over and over in our research. It was not. We had to adapt. Be forewarned. This should be made clearer. Having said that it works great now! Good think we are adept at adaptation.

Springs came quicker than expected. Upon measurement with old spring, the new ones are a bit smaller in diameter. Secondly they are also about 1 1/4 shorter. They work fine and I would expect that newer springs are built a bit different. But when ordering it would be helpful to have measurements of new springs for comparison reasons.

My garage door operator went out. I wanted to replace it with a Craftsman since my other door was already using a Sears operator. Customer support via messenger was not useful as he does not know if the keys in question was universal for the gate and asked me to check with manufacturer instead. Ive ordered from this company before, but...This time the company let me down. I purchased an inside door handle for a garage door, and the handle came without the pin that secures the handle to the other side of the door. When I called to follow up I was told to use a finishing nail cut down. BTW, A finishing nail does not fit, its way too small. So now I have a door handle that I really didnt need, but paid more for delivery than I paid for for the handle itself. Be careful when dealing with these swindlers, because they dont refund politely. They charge a re-stocking fee, and also dont return your delivery charge. A HANDLE WITHOUT THE PIECE THAT KEEPS IT ATTACHED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR DOES NOT SATISFY THE NEED. BTW, thanks for the update, how convenient that you dont even bother to accept the piece you sent me back and refund me? What company does that? The handle by itself - with no locking pin is totally useless! Like buying a new car, but the picture of the car doesnt show the keys so they are not provided with the purchase.

My experience purchasing online was not good ... Attempted to purchase a few items, put in all required information including zip code which determined shipping costs and tax !!!Was going to use PayPal and gave shipping address and everything was set, ready to confirm transaction and decided at last minute to review my order, to confirm, quantity, shipping address were correct !I noticed right before I was to confirm that originally shipping on these 2 small items was $5.95, now all a sudden I see $16.95 for shipping ....I cancelled order and emailed them what just transpired ... I received email back stating some bull that shipping rates are determined after zip is put in ... Tried to explain again what had happened, was rudely told to buy through amazon. shipping is free ... Our prices are cheaper ... well if you add crazy shipping prices they are 30% higher ...It’s not the cost of the whole package, it’s the unscrupulous way the shipping price changed right before I rechecked everything !!!Maybe it was just a website quirk, I don’t know, but the unprofessional response ticked me off !If you do purchase anything from this company just recheck total amount due !

We have ordered an item from Preferred Doors company online and chose UPS 2nd day Air shipping option ( $35.08 extra). On the appointed day, the package had not arrived. I have tried to call the company about four- five times, no answer. Left a message and later someone returned the call. I assume it was the owner. He said that the package was never shipped... no apology. I just said that they should have contacted us and let us know, but he said he has so many customers and physically cannot reach out to everyone... Wow! I believe communication is the key to success for any company! I felt very small after talking to this man...They did refund, but we will never choose this company again.
