The guys there were terrific! I had a plan and needed hardware... they jumped in and got me everything I needed. Even made recommendations about how to do it a little less expensive! Great service and advice every time I go there.

I came into your store about 10 days ago. I wanted to refinish my 96 yr old Mother’s hope chest, purchased in 1944 and made of golden beryl maple. I had never refinished anything before. Ned was super helpful, told me exactly what to do and what to buy. He made it very easy. I could not be more pleased! He was spot on in his recommendation and such a pleasure to work with. Beautifully restored and proudly displayed in my home now. Thank you Ned! (Hope I remembered his name correctly!) Before and after pictures attached.

I love this place. They have a great selection of wood, tools and other items but what really makes this place work is the customer service. The employees here are always so helpful and willing to answer questions and see if they can help in any way. This is my go-to spot. Yeah, Woodcraft has a larger store and selection, but it falls way short of Rockler in customer service and that speaks volumes.

Called looking to purchase about $7k worth of product, and the manager, Mark, was terrible to try to work with. He was condescending, rude, and seemed bothered even to check if the products were in stock since they would be closing within 40 minutes??We ended up calling the Rockler in Spring, even though it was 35 miles further, and Ray was amazing to work with. We’re excited to be picking up all of our new equipment this weekend and definitely recommend calling the location in Spring and working with Ray.

Employees are always kind and helpful. Picked up some dust collection accessories and router bits. Tons of cool stuff here. Wish there were more around!

Great place for your wood working needs

I came in just looking for epoxy (only bc Lowe’s and Home Depot don’t have it), but I was amazed by this store and left with a whole lot more. It is such a step up from the chain stores. It’s like an entire store of all of the items you WISH were sold by the chains. If you are a woodworker, THIS is your store. Plus, the customer service was fantastic. Every employee I interacted with was incredibly helpful and friendly. One employee, Tomoko, even helped me carry my items out to my car completely unprompted! I think I just found my new favorite store.

I took the bowl turning class today and I really enjoyed it! I made a lovely walnut bowl over three hours. Instructions were simple and the teacher had lots of great tips for us. Even though I was working with powerful tools I felt safe. It was a really great time and I recommend the Rockler classes!

I just bought a small laser cutter/CNC combination machine and I was really excited that there was a woodworking shop in town where I could pick out wood. I asked about small saws so I can cut the pieces down to fit in the machine. The employee I was referred to (aka CNC guy) was immediately condescending and got really frustrated with me very quickly. I left feeling absolutely insulted (and without a saw). I dont intend to return.

I generally love tool and hardware store, and rockler did not disappoint. Went in to buy a drill jig, and will go back for other items. Good selection of wood as well.

This is a BIG Boys toy store with lots of great products for the Woodworker enthusiasts. I prefer to come here to look at all the different tools and products that they have to offer. Rockler even has their own proprietary and innovative products as well. This is what set them apart from the competition.

Rockler is an expensive store for woodworkers. That said, you can purchase very high-end tools here, of far higher quality than your standard hardware store. If you are at all serious about woodcraft then this is an excellent resource.

Nice store off of Highway great for any custom craft or woodworker that have a wonderful selection of fine Hardware and find Craftsman materials. I have a great dust collection section. They also have some unique things like custom pen items as well as a large amount of stains and epoxy items. They even have some heavy woodworking equipment like table saws and CNC machines. Highly recommended for any serious Craftsman or woodworker.

Absolutely great selection unfortunately burdened with piss poor service. I went in looking for recommendations on good cloths for polishing and smoothing stabilized, dyed burl wood as well as a finish to prevent dead lip skin from sticking to my mouthpiece made of the same material. And I also asked if there was a particular type of cloth that would help make the colors and grains of my wood to be more vibrant (to pair with the Renaissance Wax I was there for).The person helping me was completely rude and dismissive. Despite telling him my exact needs he constantly reminded me that he didnt know anything about THOSE things and kept giving recommendations that were either completely off-base like this cloth is good for automotive applications or were too catch-all to be of any help. His body language obviously showed that helping me was a bother to him despite my attempts to be courteous. Its just stabilized dyed wood, hardly any different from normal wood. I just wanted something to make the colors and grains of my wood pop more and all I got was rude looks and dismissive comments. The only good help was when I asked where the Renaissance Wax was. Definitely a store I will check to see whos working before I shop there from now on.

The folks at this store are a wealth of information. If you are into CNC, you must talk to the CNC master, JR. He has an answer for any complicated question you might have, and after 1.5 yrs of contemplating he helped me decide on an Axiom AR8 Pro. I’ve dropped in multiple times on the weekends to get supplies or ask JR questions. Highly recommend this store.

Had what I needed in stock. The staff is always nice. The parking lot of the strip center this location is in is usually packed though.

Great place to shop for woodworking supplies and tools. Unfortunately the staff is not very knowledgeable about woodworking. I asked for some information about a router bit set and the clerk read the package to me.
