I sent an email and pics of my situation over the Thanksgiving holiday. I called back afterwards (I understand people are off during holidays and I was in no hurry). I believe I spoke to Jesus who went through everything that I would need for connecting the extended gas line under the travel trailer to a portable grill because I was a little confused and wanted to get it right the first time.. Jesus even verified which port and size connector from his shop. I ordered the necessary hoses and valve online and they shipped fast and communication was great. Everything went together very well, very pleased.

My COM5-GRN-UL-5ft hose propane regulator arrived today. It looks well made and took all of 30 seconds to install on my Weber, 4 burner, Summit Gold, grill.I got tired of resetting and/or replacing the Weber branded regulators every season for the past 5 years. This grill is over 18 years old, well maintained and still going strong. It seems the Weber replacement regulators have in my experience been the weak link. The original gas regulator was replaced at the 13 year mark along with a new igniter and burner tubes. Every grilling season since, I’ve had intermittent trouble getting up to temp and burner flameout. After hooking this COM5 gas regulator up to my grill it got up to temp quickly with even flame distribution, just like it did the first 13 years. I’ve tested it several more times within the last 3 hours and it performs like it used too. Hopefully the frustration has ended and I’ll get 5 more years out of it. In any event this regulator will be transferred over to the new one.

I had searched for quite a long time to find a High-Pressure Quick Disconnect to install in our travel trailer to allow us to connect an outside Propane Grill (that has its own regulator). The 104507 Female Socket and mating 401111 Male Plug work perfectly and are rated for 250 PSI. Every other solution I looked was not rated to handle the pressure coming directly out of the propane bottle. And, the grill would not work properly with the pressure coming from the regulator in the travel trailer. I learned that many people have tried to find a solution like this, and I recommend this set of high quality parts for the job.

Had bought a fire pit at Costco for our Travel Trailer (TT), was trying to set up a quick connect to our TT Was able to find the male quick connect but need a 3/8 in female flare to a female 1/4 in NPT.
