I loved it when the market for tungsten carbide was $15 a pound cause I would bring in 100 pounds or more back in 2014 maybe when the market was good. Always gave me a great deal !!!.The price is lower of course, but hey thats just how the markets for metal roll.I save up enough over a few years, and its still worth the drive from Corpus Christi. Yall know me I was there with me Boxer dog the last time and the boss gave her a treat.Robert Flores approved, and appreciated.Yalls traffic still sucks though 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Ill be seeing yall soon. My company uses Astro City Scrap for our scrap metal. Top notch service -they unload. We sent a miss marked load and notified them and they held separate so I could buy it back. Great people.

Very quick in and out visit and pays top dollar on copper. I searched alot of places in this by far pays very good. They unloaded my wire out the truck and offered water. Very good customer service. you will need a Driver license or someone with you that has one and if its your first time they will issue a check. There is the bank in front that exchange it for free instantly

I paid a visit here to turn in some copper wire. The service was great as far as getting in and out of there quickly although the first time you go there youll be paid with a check so go early enough to cash your check at their Bank for free as long as the Frost Bank close by is still open. As far as fair pricing, I cant complain. I only had a little bit of wire and I havent paid attention to the rate its been lately, so sorry I cant help you out there. All I know is I left there with about $13 more than I had previous to my visit. All in all it was a alright trip to Astro City Scrap Metal. 🙂

Scale was way off. One of the employees even admitted to me that the scale was off. I guess thats how they make there money. My advise would be to go to a couple different scrap yards and get the best deal possible for your bulk scrap metal. Oh and make sure there scale is working properly.

Honest prices and an accurate scale dont know why I went anywhere else before.

I do not recommend this place at all horrible customer service the website is false advertisement. The prices are horrible and the employees stood around and watched us unload our own scrap metal. Worst place I have every tried to do business at. I wouldnt ever allow my dogs to pee on there property that is how horrible the experience was. To top it off they didnt even offer us cold water.

I recycle here. Its all fair and square, you must join the club to insure you are not stealing copper too. Friendly people work there and they teach you how to get max cash on your recycling.
